Detection of Subsurface Flow Phenomena

Geophysical methods can be useful tools for detection of leakages in dams and waste disposal sites. Self-potential/geoelectrical and thermometrical techniques as well as infrared imagery procedures are still under development in this field of application, but there already is much international experience available.
