Deus ex Machina

Set in the modern world where the realm of the spiritual and the material are more intertwined than one might think, Dex's best friend Neil will introduce him to The Order: a secret super powered orginization dating back to the first apostles of Christ to safeguard the world against evil. The two are tasked with dealing with a potential traitior. Along the way, Dex will learn of his powers and the weight of being the one who has the ability to save the world battling demons, vampires, and other dark foes while trying to deal with his grief over the loss of his parents loss. Just like the world he lives in, there are secrets hidden in plain sight. Deus ex Machina seeks to answer the question, "What does it mean to save the world when you yourself need saving?"
