Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion

A classic work of religious philosophy, Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion is Scottish philosopher David Hume's famous examination of the nature of God.
Through dialogue three fictional characters named Demea, Philo, and Cleanthes debate the nature of God's existence. While all three agree that a god exists, they differ sharply in opinion as to God's nature. They also differ as to whether or not humankind can come to knowledge of a deity.
