Doctrinal Preaching

The thesis of this study is that the effective planning and delivery of doctrinal sermons is a veritable instrument in dealing with the eroding heritage of Baptists. This book begins with the issue of misconceptions involved in understanding the Baptist identity as well as the challenges of preaching doctrines in a context that avoids it. It responds to the challenges of understanding the ecclesiological, historical, and theological background of the Baptist identity. Provides a solution to the challenges of the dwindling identity of Baptists through doctrinal preaching.
