Sumulat, the storyteller, relates the tale of Meeya and her family.
On one of the six worlds of Majick, Tatlo, the human place, a family struggle to survive their unforgiving world. From the days of their childhood when they are attacked by warriors of another tribe to the end of their lives, they face hardship and trauma, spirits and demons. Trouble follows as they build new lives, watched over by the spirit of their mother.
Despite the challenges, they grow and have their own families, all of whom have a role in the building of the great city of Dragonfang.
But a new and unexpected danger threatens all they have achieved. How will they face this ultimate peril?
