Early Yorkshire Schools

Published for the Yorkshire Archaeological Society in 1903, this second volume of a two-volume survey by the historian Arthur Francis Leach (1851-1915) documents the early history of seven Yorkshire schools, including Pontefract, Rotherham and Acaster, with a wealth of primary sources (some in Latin), and an introductory narrative account.
