Educational Intervention for Nursing Personnel

The text describes the results of a quasi-experimental study carried out during two years at the Policlínico Manicaragua to determine the level of knowledge of the nursing staff before and after receiving training related to the care of terminal oncology patients. Competence and professional performance needs were detected in the care of terminal oncology patients before the intervention, and subsequently, most of them improved their performance.
