About the Author
Dale Ford started life in southern Indiana, but over the years he's lived in Oklahoma, Ohio, and Florida. After finding the love of his life, he moved to a small town in Georgia.

Seriously injured in a motorcycle accident, the author recovered and returned to work as a truck driver. Empress Rising was written mostly while on the road.
Ford continues to split his time as a writer, father, and husband in Georgia, where he shares his life with his wife, daughter, and a menagerie of cats, dogs, and other creatures.
