Epidemiology of Tuberculosis in the State of Pará

Tuberculosis continues to deserve special attention from health professionals around the world. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease and a global emergency, as it is the leading cause of death among infectious diseases worldwide. Although there are already technological resources capable of ensuring its control, there is no forecast for its eradication, unless new vaccines and treatments are discovered.
