Presents a study of the ontological system of Alexander of Aphrodisias, famous for his commentaries on the works of Aristotle. This book aims to define Alexander's place in the history of metaphysics. It discusses his attempt to substantiate the objectivity of Aristotelian form which draws down the curtain on the phase of Hellenistic peripatos.
