On the edge of the second American civil war, a young transgender girl named Kim, tries to navigate trust and survival as the world crashes around her. Her only ally is a strange knight in junk armor named Dawn Quixotie trying to save her from a bad end. As others hunt them Kim hopes to reach the only sanctuary left in the country.
