Femicide in Bolivia

The Plurinational State of Bolivia, has the responsibility to protect society, especially those who are in vulnerable situations, the progress made in the country was profound and innovative with respect to the protection and integration of women, since now we can see women in public office. The research that is intended to be achieved with the work is to analyze whether since the enactment of Law 348, the rates of femicide decreased. To understand the topic we have to develop concepts that will help us understand the work, among which we have the femicide, which was born under the English voice of femicide, first used by the sociologist Diana Russell and Jane Caputi, to translate this word were born two terms femicide and femicide that is developed later, the concept of femicide includes a progression of violent acts in all its forms against women that cause their death and that the author has some relationship with the victim.
