For Whom the Selkie Sings

Stranded on a small island in the North Atlantic, a British sailor fights for survival. With a broken leg, and having only the aid of his dog and his knife, he must find a way to stay alive, and hope for rescue before winter sets in.
All the while, a vengeful creature haunts his every move. She is one of the sea-spawn, and seems dead set on doing her part in the ongoing feud between land-dwellers and sea-folk. She is enchanting, but the sailor knows he must kill her or lose his own life-or, perhaps, his heart.
