Gladiola Garden

Gladiola Garden is a beautiful collection of poems written by Effie Lee Newsome. One of the first African American poets who wrote primarily for children, she used her poems to help young readers celebrate their own beauty and recognize themselves in fairy tales, folklore, and nature.
