Godofredi Hermanni Opuscula

The shorter works of the eminent classical philologist Gottfried Hermann are collected in this eight-volume Opuscula (1827-1877). Exemplifying the range and thoroughness of Hermann's scholarship, Volume 7 (1839) republishes his De officio interpretis and includes essays on Aeschylus, Pindar, and the genres of tragedy, comedy, and lyric.
