Über Great Grandma Says, "Love Conquers Anything!"
Virgil (70-19 BC) in Eclogues wrote, "Love conquers all", or as in the original Latin, "omnia vincit amor." Our heroine's great grandma comes to visit; and she tells our heroine, "I will always love you!" And then, she tells her, "Love conquers anything!" And our heroine thinks and thinks about what her great grandma said; and she goes about telling everyone she knows what her great grandma said, to find out if they have any thoughts on the subject. And (of course) in the end, our heroine decides she knows exactly what her great grandma meant by what she was saying.
Think about what you think our heroine' great grandma meant as you practice reading skills and build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find on the pages of this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by award winning author, attorney and former teacher, Penelope Dyan.
But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun! And when you are finished traveling through this book, you can go to Bellissimavideo's YouTube channel and watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book!
