Although immortality seems to become a target, modern technologies have proposed new solutions to address the subject in a more realistic manner than mythology or science fiction, often very fascinating. Such technologies do not border on the absurd, instead, they rely on some recent scientific data and research in physics and biology, abandoning conventional processes ¿ excellent in their time, but today they tend to limit the horizon of thought and knowledge. The idea of cybernetic immortality is to induce our consciousness in a virtual space. If this virtual space will be temporary, as ours, or immortal, it will, of course, depend on software that we do, to get into those spaces. Of course, all these presume that our perceptions, feelings, emotions and our existence are the result of electrical impulses, to whose dominion will handle those able to get up there when we take existence in a virtual world. Thus we ask a normal question: Is it possible that man ¿ every person on Earth ¿ to live forever? Some believe that it is and even want this, some are afraid that it is possible, some hope not and others are convinced that it isn¿t possible.

Robotics is an ever growing market, to put things in perspective, the worldwide market for both industrial and service robots is forecast by the IFR to exceed the $66 Billion by 2025. Numerous breakthroughs have been achieved thanks to robotics research, in all walks of life, the 3d printing boom, space exploration, unprecedented production efficiency and last but not least the entertainment industry. Locally the attempts to delve into this lucrative and promising field is still hindered by a tendency to be on the consumer side, even in the more ambitious projects we haven''t moved away from ready made concepts. Hence, it makes financial and even common sense to be pursuing an endeavor in areas this promising. Faced with the sheer vastness of the field, and a poignant fragmentation and lack of standardization of both hardware and software components, we have set out to develop our own modular, reusable robotics platform. In this book, we detail the agile system design process we adopted and attempted to remold, and go over the different phases of building our platform up to the manufacturing of the first prototypes.

As we face global population growth, increased competition for land and water resources from industrial and urban growth, climate change and the need to protect the environment, we need new solutions to increasing agricultural productivity to combat hunger and poverty. One particularly effective form of bioconversion biotechnology is mushroom cultivation for food, and also for the production of mushroom derived substances. Mushroom production is so far the most profitable way of utilizing ligno-cellulose containing waste materials into foods of higher yields, protein and gross energy per unit area of land. Pleurotus tuberregium is of great economic importance in all parts of sub-Saharan African, especially in Nigeria. Both the sclerotium and the mushrooms grown from it are eaten. In view of its popularity (use as food condiment and in medicine), it became necessary to study the simplest and cheapest substrate that would give the highest weight yield and protein content for its production. The mushroom is important for three main reasons: as a source of food (plus health benefits), as a source of income and to maintain the health of forests.

Perovskite solar cells represent a promising and rapidly evolving technology in the field of photovoltaics. These cells utilize materials with a perovskite crystal structure to convert sunlight into electricity. Known for their low-cost production and high efficiency, cesium tin iodide based perovskite solar cells have gained widespread attention in research and development. Their unique properties enable flexibility in design and application, making them a potential game-changer for renewable energy. We have the ability to use improved solar cells within a hybrid photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) solar collector to produce electricity and heat simultaneously.

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic brought extraordinary challenges in terms of academic performance, especially in mathematics. This study was conducted to determine the mathematics performance of grade 9 learners using different factors with three variables learners, home, and school factor. A total of 300 learners-respondents took an achievement test to identify their level of mathematics performance amidst the pandemic. As presented, data revealed most learners are academic achievers on their previous grade level, wherein their parents are high school graduates, high-income earners, longer distance from their residence to the school four kilometers and above, and most teachers monitor learners' progress only once per week. Hence, available learning materials at home and school are android cellphones, books, and references this served as a reading guide and access to learning towards a modular approach in teaching. However, the respondents¿ attitudes towards mathematics and level of math anxiety are average levels. Lastly, learners performed unsatisfactorily in mathematics performance due to new normal education.

In modern dentistry, digital technologies have a considerable impact on the diagnosis, planning, and execution of orthodontic treatment, leading to substantial advancements in the field of orthodontics. Customization in orthodontics is a computerized system that designs orthodontic appliances for individual patients. A customized appliance system uses digital models of the patients arches to simulate the optimal position of each dental element and the ideal final occlusion. Once the desired virtual result is achieved, the personalized archwires, brackets are made. Customized systems allow orthodontists to initiate treatment with the final goal in mind, and streamline mechanics towards a preestablished result. These techniques start by creating a setup of the desired outcome that serves as a diagnostic aid and is used for appliance fabrication. Through the use of intraoral scanning, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), three-dimensional (3D) photography, and computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technologies, a novel customised system enables the assessment of changes in 3D and customization of treatment planning brackets, and wires.
