This manuscript outlines the prescribed and legislated methodology of embarking on integrated planning in order to realise absolute service delivery. The author in this book explores whether communities and levels of authorities are aware of the system of planning in Local Government. The book details the application of the planning principles across the country. In responding to the community needs, the system of local government is obliged to measure progress on the service delivery programmes within the given space. The author is mindful of the strides post 1994 democratic dispensation and challenges which are still posing bottlenecks. The government has recently in 2019 proclaimed and endorsed a new way of planning which promotes multi-sectoral approach in addressing and resolving challenges.

Cosmetics made with carotenoids have appealing aesthetic qualities as well as improved topical absorption, functionality, and sensory qualities. Carotenoids as human cosmetics have been shown to have positive health impacts in epidemiological reports, health benefits, and mechanistic research. thorough in-vivo and in-vitro research to comprehend the precise mechanism of action, followed by carefully monitored clinical trials to judge the efficacy of carotenoids as cosmetics. Finding new carotenoids, determining their clinical relevance, and assessing their potential use in the treatment of dermatological disorders will be made easier with the development of new understanding pertaining to the processes of carotenoids.Carotenoids have been applied to food matrices or utilized in packaging materials frequently in the food business. The most extensive and researched use of them is as dietary supplements or food supplements for animals, which improves the organoleptic characteristics and nutritional values with the purpose of increasing commercial adoption. Additionally, to increase the shelf-life of products, carotenoids have been employed as components in active packaging films.

Nanotechnology is concerned with the physical, chemical, and biological aspects of structures and their components at nanoscale levels. Nanotechnology is built on the idea of making useful structures by regulating atoms and molecules one by one. Most Curriculum experts agree that it is better to implement a poorly designed Curriculum very well than to implement a good Curriculum poorly. Implementing a good Curriculum poorly is therefore a recipe for disaster. This study therefore sets out to assess the preparedness of senior high schools for the implementation of the new pre-tertiary Curriculum. This assessment is intended to be a guide for all stakeholders with the hope of ensuring that the new national pre-tertiary Curriculum hailed by most experts, is properly implemented. This study employs a descriptive study design while gathering data via stratified random sampling and cross sectional survey.

In the design of VLSI, where an improvement in minimum supply voltage and a change in few Pico seconds of memory access or cycle times will make a big impact on SoC designs performance. SRAM cell write-ability and read stability are of prime concern at low supply voltages and also for process, voltage and temperature variations. When low supply voltage is applied to SRAM cell, the write operation will not be performed because the cell will not flip to desired voltage levels. A write assist circuit using a negative bitline voltage technique which can assist SRAM cell to flip to the desired voltage levels and assists the write operation is proposed for reducing write failures at low supply voltages.When low supply voltage applied to SRAM cell the read operation will not be performed in the selected cell and the cell stored data will be disturbed in the unselected cells. The proposed lowered WL voltage read assist circuit technique prevents the data from getting disturbed in unselected cells and also assists the read operation in selected cell.

Wireless Power Transfer [WPT] using the magnetic induction technology which could avoid human from the hazardous accident caused due to the using of cables. By the using of MOSFET switches in the inverter, it creates the output with high frequency improves the efficiency of power transfer between the coils. Due to this creation of output with higher frequency the charging of battery will be very fast and efficient. By connecting the solar panel to the supply battery, it will be charged continuously using this panel. This will help the users for the non-stop driving. These advances make the WPT very attractive to the electric vehicle charging application in both stationary and dynamic charging. By introducing WPT in electric vehicle, the obstacles of charging time, range, and cost can be easily managed. WPT technology is developing rapidly in recent years.

Urban Sustainability is a concept was identified as the ultimate goal of many modern-day planning endeavors and has become pivotal aspects on which the urban development policies are formulated. In the confinement of these concepts, land use and transport integration has been highlighted as one of the most important policy objectives considering the interrelationship between them and available intervention means of planning. Accordingly, a number of principles have been defined to guide its implementation. However, there is lack of an evaluation framework to measure the extent of achievement of implementation of these principles. In pursuit of filling this gap, this study aims to explore travel characteristics and built environment for attaining Sustainable transportation planning in the Thrissur city.

The purpose of the present work is to evidence Grace Ogot¿s The promised Land as a novel of disillusionment. The exploration of the novel of our corpus reveals that Ochola the main character resorts to migration as the only alternative to the difficulties of life he experiences in the land of Seme in Kenya. This departure, based on some motivations, namely poverty, influence of the social environment, and his obsession for wealth, has paved the way to his long and mysterious disease preceding his empty-handed return to Kenya.The exploration of this novel has enabled us, to set the relationship between the writer¿s art and his social engagement. Then, thanks to some appropriate literary devices used, by the latter such as paratext, narrative techniques and style.

The present investigation, performance of Direct injection diesel engine has been tested with the combination of two oils namely jatropha and pong Amia, this two oils are been mixed with different percentages with this two oils and with diesel, Pong Amia 5%, Jatropha 5% and remaining diesel. The jatropha oil is only increased by 5% making pong Amia oil as constant, further combination are detailed discussed in the paper. Maximum percentage of jatropha oil was taken up to 25%. The performance test was conducted on twin cylinder stationary direct injection diesel engine coupled to swinging field dynamometer. The performance test consist of break power (BP), mass of fuel consumed (MFC), Brake Specific Fuel consumption (BSFC), Mechanical Efficiency, Break thermal Efficiency and Indicated thermal efficiency. From the results it was observed that the combination of two oils are showing better performance comparing with diesel. Out of the most pong Amia 5%, jatropha 15% was showing the best result.

The oral rehabilitation of a large edentulous ridge is complicated by mechanical and esthetic problems. The use of complementary retention devices supported by natural roots has many benefits on the prosthetic balance and the esthetic integration of the prosthesis. This therapeutic option requires a rigorous implementation and a correct choice of the retention systems better suited to the clinical situation.The aims of this book were to highlight alternatives to upgrade esthetics and functional integration of the removable prosthesis and to enhance patient's satisfaction and quality of life.

Fractional calculus can be treated as generalization of conventional calculus in the sense that it extends the concept of the derivatives and integrals to include arbitrary orders. Effective mathematical modelling by fractional order differential equation requires the development of reliable and flexible numerical methods. In this book we demonstrate the numerical efficiency of the proposed HPNT analytic approximate technique through error analysis and we carried out the comparison of HPNT with other numerical methods and to apply proposed methods to obtain an approximate analytical solution of time fractional Rosenau-Hyman equation arising in mathematical modelling for formation of pattern in liquid drops and results obtained via fractional reduced differential transform method (FRDTM) and are compared through error analysis and graphical methods with VIM and HPM.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s the concept of developing balanced articulation for fixed prosthodontics was challenged. Two primary philosophical approaches were suggested. Unilateral balance, later referred to as group function, was advocated by Schuyler (1963) . Stuart (1964) suggested eliminating all posterior tooth contacts in eccentric positions. This occlusal scheme has been described as mutually protected occlusion because the posterior teeth act as vertical stops (closure stoppers) and prevent excessive contact of the anterior teeth in MIP, and the anterior teeth disengage the posterior teeth in eccentric positions to protect the posterior teeth from lateral forces . Another term that has been used to describe this occlusal scheme is anterior disclusion (anterior teeth discluding the posterior teeth in eccentric positions). If the canine alone (without involvement of the incisors) discludes the posterior teeth in lateral eccentric positions, the mutually protected occlusal scheme is described as canine disclusion.

The smallholder farmers farming activities is characterized by low production and productivity. To improve this problem integration of modern technologies with improved level of efficiency become concern that is more important for smallholder farmers. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyses the technical efficiency of cassava production for the smallholder cassava farmers in Abaya district of Oromia regional state, Ethiopia. A multi-stage random sampling technique was adopted in selecting one hundred and twenty (120) cassava farmers. Structured questionnaires were used in collecting a cross-sectional data for the study. Stochastic production frontier model was employed to estimate technical efficiency levels, whereas single stage estimation method was used to identify factors affecting it. The test result indicated that there is inefficiency in the cassava production process in the study area and the relative deviation from the frontier duo to the effects of inefficiency is 20%.

Edible oils are receiving a lot of attention as an alternative fuel for engines as they are renewable and can be used in engines without any major modification. Their properties are closer to those of diesel except viscosity. The main problems of using corn oil in diesel engines are higher emission level and lower thermal efficiency due to higher viscosity and carbon residue compared to diesel. Transesterification of corn oil into biodiesel is the best method to overcome this problem. In the present study we are using corn biodiesel in different blends such as COME10, COME20, COME30, &COME100 are taken for the experiment from this blends COME20 gives good results and for this blend cerium oxide Nano particles is added as fuel additive with concentration of 25ppm, &50ppm. The Performance was improved, and emissions were reduced by using COME20+Ceo2 50ppm.
