The study investigated the role and importance of accountant in business organization. The effectiveness of accountants was investigated through the function of management accountant, financial accountant and auditor.Data were collected using frequency distribution and chi-square statistical techniques. A total of fifty questionnaires were administered among the respondent of 7up bottling company Plc.These findings revealed that inadequate accounting information, provided by the Auditor and accountant, affect the strategic management decision. Also, that inadequate accountants and auditors have adverse effect on strategic management of an organization. Furthermore, that poor accounting standard have negative impact on the role of accountants in strategic management. Finally, that compliance to statutory regulation and procedures affect the strategic management process positively.It was recommended that adequate accounting information must be provided by accountants and auditor to improve strategic management. Qualified accountant and auditors should be employed to plan strategic management.

How I Rediscovered the Ancient Secrets for Calming Crying BabiesI certainly didn¿t realize how easy it was to calm crying babies when I began my pediatric studies in the early 1970s. During my medical-school training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, my professors taught me that babies scream due to gas pains, so there were two valid approaches for soothing colic. First, try Grandmother¿s advice of holding, rocking, and pacifiers. If that failed, try medicine: sedatives (to push a baby into sleep), anti-spasm medicines (to treat stomach cramps), or anti-gas drops (to help get out burps). By the late 1970s, however, these three medical approaches were called into question. Sedating babies was considered inappropriate. Doctors stopped using anti-spasm medicines after several babies treated with them lapsed into comas and died. And anti-gas drops lost their appeal when research proved them to be no more effective than water. Although my medical education was excellent, I felt helpless when it came to caring for colicky newborns. As a resident, I worked for three years at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, one of the world¿s busiest pediatric hospitals.

The unification of the four fundamental forces is an active field of research. Up to now, no successful unified field theory has been formulated yet and the unified field force remains a hypothetical force. In spite of this situation, this goal continues to motivate research in theoretical physics. Scientists are clearly guided by a cosmological motivation. The unified field force would be the single force at the beginning of the universe and would evolve into the four fundamental forces as the temperature of the early universe decreased. A successful unified field theory must provide a realistic cosmological model. It should take into account the existence of quasars and other compact astronomical objects and be able to account for the mechanisms of such peculiar phenomena as the supernovae. An alternative unified field theory might exist and could start with new insights into the Lorentz transformations, the principle of special relativity, and the physical contents of these transformations. Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a pre-condition for sustainable development (UNDP, 2022).In Uganda, women face discrimination and are disproportionately vulnerable. Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) are essential for reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for health.The general objective of the study is to examine the contribution of financial inclusion to the realization of Gender equality (SDG 5) in Uganda; a Case of Small Business Owners in Masaka District, Uganda.

Rice serves as the staple food for approximately half of the global population, making its sustainable production of paramount importance for food security. However, rice production faces significant challenges due to various abiotic stresses, with soil salinity being a particularly widespread issue affecting a large expanse of rice-growing areas. Soil salinity disrupts normal rice growth and significantly reduces yield potential. To address this challenge, the development of rice cultivars with improved salt tolerance is crucial in order to increase production in affected regions. Marker Assisted Selection (MAS) emerges as a pivotal breeding method in this endeavor. MAS leverages molecular markers to select for specific traits, facilitating the identification of salt-tolerant rice genotypes efficiently and accurately. QTL (Quantitative Trait Locus) mapping plays a vital role in dissecting the genetic control of salt tolerance in rice. By identifying the specific genomic regions associated with salt tolerance, QTL mapping aids in the development of molecular markers that can be utilized in MAS.

Background: Calcium oxalate/phosphate stone (calciphytoliths) is a common disease in the world. Urinary stone disease has a great influence on human health and is a disease with a high likelihood of recurrence of more than 10% within a year. In India, about 12% of the population has Urolithiasis, of which 50% may suffer kidney loss or kidney damage. There are no engineered medications which hinder the development of kidney stone in the conceivable age gatherings. So there is a need of new herbal preparation which removes or eliminates kidney stone without surgery. Aim & Objectives: The inhibition of calculi forming oxalate by an processed Gokhsura milk (Tribulus terrestris) has been investigated. Methods: The weight reduction assay was studied. Soluble oxalate of the plant were partially removed prior to the study. Results & Discussion: Gokshura milk was found with good activity when compared with the standard calculax. The results indicate that the calcium oxalate crystal inhibition activity exhibited by the processed plant material may be due to their calcium oxalate and phosphate stone (calciphytoliths) solubilising capacity of phytoconstituents present in it.

Green revolution has solved the food problems of man kind to certain extent, but aggravated the human health problems. Indiscriminate use of pesticides to protect the crops from pests polluted the surroundings and affected the non-target organisms.Pesticides are considered as economic toxins. We use more pesticides because we want to produce more food and hence nutrition. So, man has been using more pesticides in spite of knowing the fact that pesticides are poison- causing both acute and chronic health effects. We can say that pesticide production is a poison ¿ nutrition trade off. India suffers from double burden of pesticides, both acute as well as chronic. Annually about 8,000 to 10,000 cases are being reported with more than 1,000 fatalities. Excessive and indiscriminate use of chemicals caused ecological imbalance leading to potential health hazards .As the pesticide use can not be banned in the present scenario, at least we should minimize their use.The present study examines the neurotoxicity of an Organophosphate Compound Acephate on selected neurochemical and histological alterations in different brain regions of albino rat.

Twin blocks are simple bite blocks that effectively modify the occlusal inclined plane these devices use upper and lower bite blocks that engage on occlusal inclined planes. Twin block achieves rapid functional correction of malocclusion by transmitting favorable occlusal forces to the occlusal inclined planes covering the posterior teeth.

Oral surgical procedures in children are endeavors that demand expertise and skill. Minor oral surgical procedures performed on paediatric patients involves a number of special considerations like behaviour management, growth and development of a child, developing dentition, preoperative evaluation, anaesthetic considerations and postoperative care. Many oral surgical procedures in several ways are similar to adults except for a smaller working area in children and thus the fundamental principles of surgery, asepsis and antisepsis should be involved. Surgical procedure is planned depending upon the patient¿s age and systemic health. There are certain anatomic and physiologic differences in children such as bone is more cancellous in nature with a presence of developing tooth bud, wound healing and remodeling capacity is more faster in children. Patients with underlying diseases like cardiovascular disease, bleeding disorders, epilepsy, should be given particular attention and all necessary preventive measures should be taken, in cooperation with the physician treating the patients, in order to avoid potential complications during and after the surgical procedure.

Traffic congestion is a significant problem, especially in growing nations; to encounter this, several models of traffic system were developed. For a smart transportation system, a new framework is recommended to avoid congestion. A unique framework called Edge Detection & Moving Object Detection (EDAMOD) paradigm, which combinedly uses Edge Detection & Moving Object Detection tactics to organize the traffic at traffic signal junction, through splitting the ROI into 2 parts. In first region it implements ED & in region 2 it employs MOD. By employing the novel method that has been proposed, the live traffic images are used as input to the proposed model to calculate the traffic density values of the live traffic frames. EDAMOD algorithm is a novel technique which effectively handles both the static frames & dynamic frames.

Plastic and polythene are environmentally unacceptable and hence, alternative ways were required to dispose these dangerous things. Current work can present the use of waste Polythene carry bags in flexible pavement. Reclaimed polythene (PE) derived from low density polythene (LDPE) carry bags from kitchen waste and plastic bottles have been used as additive in flexible pavements. Purposes of using above materials are to utilize environmentally unacceptable waste material and to develop a better material mix to resist increased traffic load and pressure resulting in cracking.In the present study, an attempt has been made to use waste plastic, LDPE (Low Density Poly Ethylene), blended using dry process. Marshal method of Bituminous Mix design was carried out by changing the modified bitumen content and subsequent tests have been performed to determine the different mix design characteristics. The waste plastic bags have been heated to 160-180oC and mixed with the aggregate. The LDPE and aggregate blended mix was combined to get the trial for dense bituminous concrete (DBC).

The utilization of linseed and neem methyl esters blends in a diesel engine involves using a mixture of linseed methyl ester (LME) and neem methyl ester (NME) with diesel fuel as an alternative fuel source. Both LME and NME are biodiesel fuels derived from vegetable oils and have the potential to be used as a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to pure diesel fuel. Here's how the utilization of these blends in a diesel engine can be beneficial and some considerations. Utilizing linseed and neem methyl ester blends in a diesel engine can be a step towards reducing the environmental impact of diesel engines and promoting sustainability.

Among the renewable forms of energy, Solar energy is a convincing, clean energy and acceptable worldwide. Solar photovoltaic plants, both ground mounting and the rooftop, are mushrooming throughout the world. One of the significant challenges is the fault identification of the solar photovoltaic module, since a vast power plant condition monitoring of individual panels is cumbersome.This project aims to identify the panel using a thermal imaging system and processes the thermal images using the image processing technique. Similarly, the new and aged solar photovoltaic panels were compared in the image processing technique to identify any fault in the panel. Localized root resorption is a normal and constant remodeling response to oral microtrauma occurring throughout the life. Roots do not shorten naturally unless excessive force compresses the periodontal ligament. Appositional process of root repair normally repairs the resorptive defects of the root. Excessive force causes irreversible root resorption, which results in shortening of the root length. Extensive root resorption observed after orthodontic treatment compromises the benefits of an otherwise successful orthodontic outcome. However, loss of root structure resulting from orthodontic treatment does not decrease the longevity or the functional efficiency of the teeth.
