There are various methods of water disinfection, as a result of the use of the proposed equipment that works with ultraviolet rays, the system will be fully automated, which will increase its economic efficiency and will not have a negative impact on water quality indicators. This monograph substantiates the results and analysis of the use of ultraviolet equipment for drinking water in villages, health resorts, schools, public catering facilities, model residential buildings, hospitals, guest houses.

In this book, The effect of viscous dissipation on Free convection boundary layer flow and on heat transfer characteristics over a nonlinearly stretching surface or radially heated stretching surface with five different types of non-Newtonian fluid models like Powell-Eyring Fluid, Ferro fluid, non-Newtonian Nanofluid, Maxwell Fluid and Sutter by Fluid with heat transfer are numerically investigated. The governing PDE of flow is first converted into ODE by using similarity variables, later higher order ODE is transformed into first order ODE by using suitable substitutions, after that solved numerically with the help of spectral relation method along with the mat lab package.. Convergence criterion is applied for better coincidence of the results. Matlab software is used to get the graphs and tables.

An accurate rainfall forecasting is a challenging problem for agriculture dependent countries like India for analyzing the crop productivity, use of water resources and pre-planning of water resources. This book provides issues involved in prediction of daily, monthly, and yearly rainfall data using neural network. We incorporate various models such as ARIMA, Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN), Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN), and Time Delay Neural Network (TDNN) techniques for rainfall prediction. All the models implemented using MATLAB software. The purpose of the book is to uses Genetic Algorithm (GA) for optimizing biases and weights of neural network. The results of ARIMA model are compared with the results obtained using three neural network models.

In the zone of Meskine (Maroua, Cameroon), observations have been made (dry season) on inventory species of Hoverflies depending on the diversity of food resources available. The main goal was to find Entomological knowledge which can facilitate the rise in yields in agricultural practices while preserving the environment in the agricultural site. The surveys were made every three days in the form of transect. Attractive plant species for the Syphidae are removed and the functional role of each species of Hoverfly determined. The results obtained helped to identify 21 species of Hoverflies. These species have been grouped in 8 genuss of which the genus Eristalinus was prominent with 12 species. Other genus were reduced to 40% namely Toxomerus, Melanostoma, Phytomia, Mesembrius, Asarkina, Paragus and Episyrphus. Three groups have been determined based on the frequency of occurrence of these Syrphidae: constant species, the incidental and accidental species. Floral visits of the flies listed were rated on 26 plant species including 8 peasant crops off season and 20 species around and between the line spacing of the cultures.

The introduction of Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) specifically dedicated to imaging the maxillofacial region heralds a true paradigm shift from 2D to an alternative 3D which compensates for the shortcomings of other 3D imaging options such as radiation dosage, cost and localized approach to data acquisition and image reconstruction. The present work provides an overview of the imaging principles underlying this technology which identifies dental applications and in particular focuses on the emerging role of CBCT in dentistry.This newer advancement provides a complete 3D view of the maxilla, mandible, teeth, and supporting structures with relatively high resolution, lesser magnification and low radiation exposure to the patient.

The most serious distresses associated with flexible pavement is cracking, which occurs at intermediate and low temperatures, and permanent deformation, which occurs at high temperatures. These distresses reduce the services life of the pavement and increase the maintenance costs. Optimum bitumen content in any bituminous mix plays a vital role for its stability and durability.For a country like India, where hot temperature prevails in summer in several parts, permanent deformation of bituminous layer is a major concern. This problem can be addressed by adopting courser gradation for wearing course. It is necessary to obtained Optimum bitumen contain for a particular bituminous concrete mix from economical and durability point of view.Further investigation carried out using different grade of binder with more flexibility in selection of aggregate gradation.

In this new era, noise pollution is very high. The one reason for this noise pollution is noise or sound which is generated by the exhaust system of the motorbike. So, it is necessary to reduce the noise from the motorbike's exhaust. In this, reverse engineering of the original silencer are done and analyzed, then three modification model of the silencer are prepared and analyzed, and as per the results, one modified silencer is selected forward for manufacturing. After the fabrication of the silencer, two tests are conducted. First, the test is conducted with the original silencer and then with the modified silencer. From that data, the transmission loss of original and modified silencers is calculated and compared it. From that, it is found that noise is reduced up to 5 DB, and it is less than 100. Also, the flow velocity of exhaust gas in the original silencer and modified silencer are measured. In that, it is concluded that the flow of modified is increased by 11% to the original silencer, and the PUC of the modified silencer is checked, and it is limited as per the PUC norms.

In modern cities video surveillance becomes an important part for protection and security. Smart cameras equipped with intelligent analysis of video can monitor events and give alert system by capturing abnormal activities and events. Nowadays there are many cameras equipped for surveillance in all over the world. So we are going to implement the system which focuses on video surveillance by giving video contents containing early abnormal activities like fall detection, car crash detection, fire detection. We are going to overcome existing drawbacks of post investigation techniques of video surveillance systems by providing alert generation system. Our work is based on machine learning techniques for video analysis with better performance and event detection with advantages of alert generation.

Dental anxiety and phobia can have adverse impacts on a children¿s quality of life, and hence it is imperative to identify and alleviate these significant obstacles to pave the way for better oral health and overall well-being of the individual. It is the duty and responsibility of the dentist to provide excellent dental care to these patients with special needs as well. Management of these patients should be an integral part of clinical practice, as a substantial proportion of the population suffers from anxiety and fear. Therapy should be customized to each individual following proper evaluation, and should be based on the dentist¿s experience, expertise, degree of anxiety, patient intellect, age, cooperation, and clinical situation. The dentist should communicate with the patient and identify their source of fear and anxiety, with adjuvant use of self-reporting anxiety and fear scales to enable categorization as mild, moderate, or extreme anxiety or dental-phobic. Manifold psychological therapies are employed to mollify emotional, cognitive, behavioural, and physiological dimensions of dental anxiety and fear.

This book is an attempt to analysis of feedback queue models with heterogeneous and homogeneous servers.The proposed queue models have been analysed in fuzzy environment. Two different approaches which are alpha-cut and L-R method for triangular fuzzy numbers have been used to evaluate queue performance measures. A comparison between utilization factors using both the approaches has been done at the end of each chapter. BiFeO3 is recognized as promising candidate because of its potential applications in the design of devices combining magnetic, electronic, and optical functionalities. Connection to this pure and Ni & Ti doped BFO thin films were successfully deposited on FTO substrate using hot wall assisted spray pyrolysis system. The structural, morphological and optical properties of thin films were discussed well. The films structure were confirmed with XRD diffraction pattern, and it observed that the samples are polycrystalline in nature and the observed diffraction peaks are indexed to rhombohedral structure with R3c space group. Also codoping BFO with Ni & Ti leads to merging of double split peaks into single head peak. The FESEM images show nanorods formation for pure and codoped BFO samples with an average size of 97 and 90 nm, respectively. Optical properties indicated that considerable amount of visible light absorption for pure and codoped BFO samples. With direct band gaps of 2.54 and 2.55 eV, this material can respond well to photons to generate a steady-state photocurrent under the effect of an internal electric field.

Spinal cord injury is considered an injury to the spinal cord causing the loss of movement and sensation in the lower parts of the injured area. The amount of this injury is specified by the person's performance, the lost sensation, and the inability to walk and stand. Spinal cord injuries are divided into two groups, traumatic and non-traumatic, and 71% of spinal cord injuries are caused by trauma. In traumatic injuries, there is direct injury is made to the vertebral column or direct pressure on it, resulting in fracture or displacement of the vertebral bodies or torn ligaments. Non-traumatic injuries involve infections, tumors, inflammation of the spinal cord, blood clots in the spinal arteries, and congenital deformities such as spina bifida. The most common causes of spinal cord injuries are blows to the spinal cord because of road accidents (48%), falls (23%), sports injuries (9%), violence (14%), infection, virus, spinal cord tumor, and surgical complications, etc., (6%). Spinal cord injury often occurs with different physical and psychological symptoms and causes different sensory and motor function disorders in sufferers depending on the injured area.

Understabding genomic responses and creating networks among them would provide a new information of stress mechanisms in organisms.

There is a growing need for effective chemical compounds that control the growth and increase the productivity of cultivated plants. Obtaining low-toxicity and high-efficiency stimulators that increase plant productivity and fight against various harmful insects and phytopathogenic microorganisms are important issues in world agriculture.In the world, a lot of research is being conducted on the research of complex compounds with mixed ligands formed by mono- and dichlorophenoxyacetic acid derivatives and their d-metal salts, their composition, structure, and properties. In this regard, the synthesis of complex compounds of ligands based on highly conformationally mobile carboxylic acids with intermediate metals, exhibiting new structures and functions, the dependence of the structure of the formed complex compounds on various factors, including the nature of the metal, the presence of the ligand substituent, as well as the coordination of the ligand to the central ion.

Listening is a complex receptive mental-mnemonic activity associated with the perception, understanding and active processing of information contained in an oral speech message. One of the most important skills in learning a foreign language is listening to the words of a foreign language by ear, responding to what is heard and obtaining the necessary information and understanding it. Until a few years ago, most of the time in schools was devoted to teaching writing, speaking, reading and listening. But in real communicative situations, a person who has developed only reading and writing skills for several years turns out to be completely helpless when confronted with foreign language speech. The above controversy led to the formulation of the problem, the essence of which is how and in what way education should be organized, aimed at shaping the personality of students, revealing their abilities, and preparing them for life in the modern world.

This study was conducted to find out the effectiveness of my writing instruction and prepare for the following writing instruction in a graduate school context in the Southern part of South Korea. To achieve the goal, three research questions were raised and answered in a given order; 1) Participants of the study (N=5) show no progress in writing in terms of accuracy and fluency, 2) The most frequently appearing errors appeared in the pretest were Agreement (Noun in numbers) > Article > Cubing > Main verb (Transitive vs intransitive). 3) As to the remaining errors in the posttest, Agreement (Noun in number) > Cubing > Meaning > Mechanics (Period) > Sentence types (S+V) errors survived at the end of the semester. Agreement (Noun in number), Cubing, and Sentence types (S+V) errors survived. Compared to the previous teaching context, my new students at a new university, called P University, show a unique way of making errors in writing. Based upon the findings of the study, instructional intervention, including writing, was suggested as the form of the quizzes in the future.

This Plan proposes the establishment of projects that aim for the sustainability of potable water supply in Talalora. The projects proposed are the following: 1) Organization/Creation of the Local Water Resources Management Board and the Municipal Water Resources Management Office, 2) Preparation of a Development Plan for the Establishment of Level III Water System, 3) Establishment of Groundwater Reservoir for Level III 4,000 Linear Meter Water System in the Municipality of Talalora, Samar, 4) Establishment of a Water Treatment Facility, and 5) Water Connections and Distribution. Moreover, this also envisions the establishment of the Talalora Water Resources Management Board that will oversee the implementation, operations, and management of the said projects. An organizational structure of the said entity is proposed to strengthen and empower the said water-governing institution. The projects¿ implementation shall be carried out in collaboration with the concerned local and national government agencies and private sectors for the smooth and successful realization and implementation of a long-standing dream of the people of Talalora.
