By far the most comprehensive study of the subterranean structure known as the Osireion, its relationship to the main temple complex of Seti I, and surrounding sacred landscape at Abydos. The Osireion contains an enormous wealth of information with its encyclopedic array of New Kingdom Underworld Books and provides a unique insight into the ancient Egyptian worldview, circa 1300 B.C. at the beginning of the Nineteenth Dynasty, following the tumultuous Amarna Heresy. It was built by Seti I as part of his program to re-establish the abode of Osiris, abolished by the heretic Akhenaten, thus explaining its form as a subterranean architectural rendition of the Duat itself, the realm of Osiris as Ruler of the West. Built on the same axis as Seti's Mansion of Millions of Years, it was from the beginning to have been an integral part of this complex. Its ancient name, "Beneficial is Menmaatre (Seti I) for Osiris", points to is purpose. Two graffiti from Dynasties XXI and XXII provide further insights as to how the ancient Egyptian priests perceived this unique structure, calling it "hidden/mysterious place of the Duat of Menmaatre" and in a greeting "Hail to you! Isis in the birth house".

Propagation of papaya is commercially done only through seeds. Now a day farmers are growing papaya as a main crop which was in place of intercrop with other main crops in orchards. With the commercialization of papaya cultivation, the demand for quality seeds of well-established varieties has increased especially for the gynodioecious varieties which are very much famous among farmers and whose cost is very high. Poor seed handling is known to affect germination, seedling emergence, poor or low seedling vigour and sometimes even total failure of seedlings with attendant low yield and quality. Seedling vigour is affected by many factors like seed quality and treatments, type of substrate used, environmental conditions, etc. Some of the problems faced by papaya growers are slow and erratic germination of papaya and high seedling mortality. The quality of seedlings obtained from a nursery influences the field's establishment and an orchard's productivity. Plant vigour depends on the seedling vigour. Therefore, attention has to be given for proper seed germination and seedling growth for successful seedling production under the nursery technique of papaya cultivation.

All other natural fibres that are relevant to technology, excluding silk, are obtained as staple fibers. The average length of staple fibres is distinctive. In order to increase the friction between the individual fibres and create a staple fibre yarn, fibres are entangled during the spinning process, such as through rotation. Ring spinning, open-end spinning, friction spinning, and air jet spinning are some of the methods used to add the necessary number of turns per length to a spun yarn. The technology employed for spinning will determine a yarn¿s properties. Yarn manufacturing involves several key steps. First, fibres are chosen and sorted according to their desired properties. Fibres are then straightened, and contaminants are removed by cleaning, carding, and combing. Carded fibres are pulled, twisted, and spun to create the required type and thickness of the yarn.

The book sets an agenda for economic prosperity within nation states. The proximate causes of Economic Development range from proximity of countries to international markets to sectoral development within domestic economies where Industry should take a central role, An early emphasis on industrial development was an outcome of wage inequalities particularly in manufacturing sector favoring skilled labor. However not only that manufacturing pays are not fair towards unskilled labor, in most of the developing countries manufacturing doesn't represent value addition and vertical development where technology is adopted with the exception of China, India and East Asia in the developing South. To get best returns from international trade, in addition to financial development, there needs to be an environment that promotes innovation and creativity. Democratic values address this challenge and additionally a culture of entrepreneurship develops technology products indigenously that are beneficial to both economy and society. Thereby, this book discusses the importance of social entrepreneurship at length drawing attention to the latest initiatives at Harvard Business School (HBS).

Emphysematous pyelonephritis (EPN) is a rare, severe, rapidly progressive, necrotizing infection of the kidney parenchyma and its surrounding tissues. It represents a diagnostic challenge by virtue of its rarity and its clinical presentation similar to acute pyelonephritis (APN). Its surgical treatment is still controversial and the nephron-sparing approach is increasingly favored. Our study¿s aim was to assess clinical, biological, radiological and prognostic patterns of this pathology and appraise the place of its conservative management. Through a descriptive retrospective study, we reviewed the records of patients who were diagnosed with EPN and admitted to the Urology Ward of Monastir¿s teaching hospital, between the years 2015 and 2022. Lesions on CT-scans were classified according to Huang and Tseng classification and Wan et al. Classification and prognostic scores (NEWS, SOFA, NLR) were calculated.

The most important aim of endodontics is the preservation of natural teeth. Accurate working length determination is a crucial part of successful endodontic treatment. It is said that "Apex is the essence of endodontics." There are certain important features at the apex of the tooth with which one needs to be familiar if an accurate working length is to be determined. If calculated within correct limits, working length will play an important role in determining the success of the treatment, and conversely, if calculated incorrectly may doom the treatment to failure. Therefore it can be seen quite clearly that the procedure for calculation of working length should be performed with skill, using technology. Endodontics is an ever changing science and has never been shy of technology. As new research and clinical experience broaden our knowledge, changes in treatment and adaptation to scientific and technological revolutions are required. Electronic determination of working length using electronic apex locator is an alternative that has developed considerable interest.

A habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur unconsciously. Habits are one of the major etiologic factors which will leads to malformation in dento-facial structures. They are the most frequent cause of these malformations mostly seen in the early childhood and mixed dentition stages. Bad oral habits extended over a long period could cause damage to the dento-skeletal development. The most common are sucking the thumb (or another finger), lips or objects, as well as atypical swallowing and oral breathing. Tongue thrust is another bad oral habit where the interposition of the tongue between the dental arches can be observed. At the same time, a low activity of the elevator muscles of the mandible in contrast to a high activity of the perioral muscles, in particular of the mental muscle, can be observed. The diagnosis should be made as soon as possible as, if not treated early, severe malocclusions can result.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are an important class of air pollutants and even at a trace amounts they have high potential hazard due to their carcinogenic nature. Benzene, Toulene, Ethylbenzene and Xylene (BTEX) are the consistently found air contaminants in indoor and outdoor environments. These are reported to be toxic and are known for their ability to deteriorate human health. Thus, an investigation of indoor/outdoor BTEX was conducted for the span of one year at selected locations in Gorakhpur in order to ascertain the contamination levels. The concentration levels of BTEX was highest at agricultural followed by industrial, roadside. The lowest levels were found at residential site. Toluene levels were higher than benzene at all the sites except agricultural site, where benzene concentration exceeded toluene. Seasonal variation showed highest BTEX concentration during winters followed by monsoon and summers. At all the sites, the indoor TVOC levels were found higher than that at outdoors. For benzene, the ILTCR values exceeded the safe levels whereas ethylbenzene was nearby to the recommended level 1x10-6. Cumulative hazard index was lower than 1.0 at all the sites.

Throughout history Leftist ideas have often championed noble ideals like liberty, equality, and fraternity. Yet, a closer look reveals that these seemingly enlightened concepts have been accompanied by tyranny, oppression, and even genocide. This book critically examines the core beliefs of the Leftist intelligentsia, focusing on the works of Antonio Gramsci and Norberto Bobbio. It unveils the hidden pretexts for political violence and terrorism concealed behind the moderate façade of Leftist discourse. This work delves into three interconnected hypotheses:a. Leftist tendencies contain intrinsic distortions that have fuelled political violence for centuries.b. Political violence is, to some extent, rooted in the epistemological foundations of Leftist ideologies.c. The evolution of Leftist ideology is often mirrored by the evolution of mechanisms for political violence. The research also explores the subjectivization of political violence, the global rise of terrorism, and the surge of anti-American and anti-Western ideologies.

As a preliminary study for developing an automatic English composition evaluation system, this study presented the results of an analysis of the establishment of a Korean college student English composition error corpus and the correlation between English composition error types and errors. The results of this study used a relatively small amount of English composition data, and the distribution of analysis subjects was not balanced by English composition score, so it is considered somewhat unreasonable to interpret it as a Meaningful result. To establish a quality set for the automatic English composition evaluator in the future, it is necessary to analyze errors in more balanced English composition and research how to extract qualities highly related to error types and English composition scores.

Polymers are a novel class of materials consisting of many small molecules (monomers) that can be linked together to form long chains, thus they are basically macromolecules. A special feature of most of the polymers, which distinguish them from metals, is their inability to carry electricity. It is a general view that plastics and electrical conductivity are mutually exclusive. However, during last two decades, a new class of organic polymers has been derived with unique ability to conduct electrical current. This class of materials is called as ¿synthetic metals¿. Many of these conductive materials have been widely adored and under extensive research for practical applications, such as rechargeable batteries, electrolytic capacitors and biosensors. They have tremendous potential for future scientific and technological development. Classification of polymers Polymers can have different chemical structures, physical properties, mechanical behavior, thermal characteristics etc. Depending upon their origin, it is possible to classify polymers as natural, synthetic and conducting polymers and their application discussed very well.
