Arabic language has attained the status of an International language. United Nations has adopted Arabic as one of its six official languages. Arabic language plays a vital role in the commercial and the cultural fields in the globalizational era. Arabic is a very rich language, which can be compared to an ocean without any limits of depth or width. This work is designed to meet the needs of Bilingual Terms and Terminology Employed in Aviation, Maritime, Shipping and other Transportation Sectors through Arabic-English for communication at the graduate and post-graduate levels in the colleges and universities. Special attention has been made by providing the list of terminology used in the Transportation sector in detail. The need for a book on Terminology Employed in the Air, Sea and Land Transportation domain has long been felt. The purpose of this work is to train the students in the Functional language from Arabic into English and vice-versa, by providing worked out terminologies. It is hoped that this book will greatly help those students and readers who wish to learn and practice Arabic-English terminologies for transportation sectors.

It is hoped that this book will greatly help those students and readers who wish to learn and practice Arabic-English terminologies for various Media Sector requirements and Human Resource Development.

A study was conducted on botanicals from various plant samples by extracting them into leaf powder to evaluate and identify their antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum, the causative agent of wilting in tomatoes. Four different plants were carefully chosen based on their potential for extraction to conduct the experiment. The efficacy of the plant samples varied due to their differing antifungal properties. Each plant sample demonstrated a different percentage of wilting in tomato plants, attributed to Fusarium oxysporum f.sp lycopersici.

Temperature distribution assessment over a plate is a fundamental aspect of engineering and scientific research with wide-ranging applications. Understanding how heat propagates through a solid plate is crucial in numerous industries, including aerospace, electronics, materials science, and energy systems. This assessment allows engineers and researchers to optimize designs, enhance performance, and ensure the safety and efficiency of various devices and structures. There are numerous situations where heat is to be transferred between a fluid and a surface. In such cases, the heat flow depends on three factors namely (i) area of the surface (ii) Temperature difference and (iii) the convective heat transfer coefficient. The base surface area is limited by design of the system. The temperature difference depends on the process and cannot be altered. The only choice appears to be the convection heat transfer coefficient and this cannot be increased beyond a certain value.

Welcome to the timely publication of this book. Plastic is ubiquitous as packaging material or as part of many products of our daily life. However, due to the steadily increasing global plastic production, plastic particles can now be found everywhere in the environment. It is estimated that between four and twelve million tonnes of plastic enter the seas and oceans every year. Plastic particles, which are intentionally manufactured, are called primary plastic particles. They are added to daily life products like cosmetics or are used in research and diagnostics. Fragmentation of larger plastic items into smaller pieces yields so called secondary plastics and the degradation is caused by exposure to sun, wind or water. In order to assess the potential risk of plastic particles in various sizes, details on the amount of particles released into the environment, their origin, the underlying transformation and fragmentation processes as well as the environmental effects are needed.

The damage caused by cyberattacks through the Internet of Things (IoT) devices on individuals and medium-to-large IT firms has made it necessary for researchers and cyber security specialists in the field of Information Technology to be more motivated while conducting studies regarding the risks of cyberattacks. Therefore, this study investigated the effects of cyberattacks on IoT devices. This research study aims to understand the various network protocols and to build up measures on how to mitigate or prevent any form of cyber-attack on IoT devices.In this study, research papers and case studies were mainly used to sort for information from different scholars on IoT and gather information from different researchers. This research employed a case study because of its flexibility and its ability to provide in-depth information.The findings of this research mainly reflected those effective countermeasures to deter cyberattacks are highly substantial, and thus strict measures are required to be taken to implement protective tools such as Cloud computing along with encryption techniques to prevent cybercrimes.

Nano magnetic catalysts are one of the nanosized magnetic smart materials have proven high catalytic activity, productivity and stability in numerous catalytic applications. These nanomagnetic catalysts are possess high selectivity, high mechanical strength, controlled surface area and porosity, good resistance to deactivation and high temperature, long life time and low price. Nano magnetic catalysts generally classified into nanotubes, nanosheets, spherical nanoparticles, nanofibers, highly porous nanocomposites. The major challenge is to design and make a desired structure with suitable surface properties and biocompatibility. Extensive efforts have been made to manipulate nanosized magnetic catalysts and its combination with other structure in order to synthesize a matrix with appropriate pore size, large surface area to volume ratio. Numerous synthetic routes have been employed in elaboration of nanomagnetic catalysts such as co precipitation, impregnation, sol-gel, combustion, thermal treatment, chemical vapor deposition, and microwave plasma techniques. We described the advances and developments in the formation/synthesis of magnetic smart catalyst material.

Breast cancer has been ranked the number one cancer among Indian females with rates as high as 25.8 per 1, 00, 000 women and a mortality rate of 12.7 among 1, 00, 000. Breast cancer is the most occurring among all cancers in women in the world, and is the main cause of death due to cancer worldwide. The early detection of breast cancer can increase the survival chances considerably. Mammography is a well-established modality for the early detection of breast cancer. However, there are interpretational failures on the part of the radiologists to read the mammograms, and there are inter and intra observational differences between them. In quest for high accuracy, this work aims to develop an automated Computer Aided Diagnostic (CAD) system which detects the malignant masses from the mammograms. Mammography is commonly used as a breast cancer screening tool as it can detect any anatomical change in cancerous breast in the form of presence of masses or microcalcifications. Thermography has been tried for the early detection of breast cancer in recent times.

This book is basically emphasized to characterization of biomolecules (Protein, amino acids, hormones, lipids etc.) using vibrational spectroscopic techniques. The Raman and IR techniques are illustrated in detail. The importance of SERS characterization is highlighted. As detection of biomolecules is very sensitive to their functional groups, therefore some important vibrational bands of molecules are presented from different authentic research articles. The calculation of band gap of different molecules using UV-spectroscopic is also mentioned in the book. Studies in gender communication describe the way men and women utilize their own linguistic register through the development of social subcultures. The different ways men and women report and communicate can increase interruption opportunities for those who speak less aggressively and less directly. Previous research at the United States Supreme Court shows that female judges were more likely to be interrupted than men. As a result, judges have altered their questioning and speaking styles to combat interruption. This thesis examines the variables of gender and types of interruption at the U.S. courts of appeals at three different appellate courts.This thesis observes gendered communication and whether communication patterns found at the Supreme Court were similar at the courts of appeals. Creating a snapshot of the courts of appeals and how the diversification of advocates presenting before the judges has changed in the last decade.

From ancient times to the present, the treatment of maxillofacial injuries requiring intermaxillary fixation has an extended history. Intermaxillary fixation (IMF) is a critical tenet in the treatment of patients with maxillofacial injuries. It is the basis for maxillofacial reconstruction, giving a strong foundation to restore facial aesthetics and function. With the introduction of bone plating systems in maxillofacial trauma, patients with fractures of the mandible or maxilla no longer require prolonged periods of intermaxillary fixation (IMF); however, there is frequently a need for temporary IMF intraoperatively to assist in the reduction of fractures, with the teeth in correct occlusion. Post operative IMF may also be required to stabilize the occlusion.

Suhrawardi utilized the ordinariness of the word in order to encompass the all that is mystical along with an array of different kinds of knowledge, including elh¿m, meaning personal inspiration.None of Suhrawardi's works was translated into Latin, so he remained unknown in the Latin West, although his work continued to be studied in the Islamic East. According to Hosein Nasr, Suhrawardi was unknown to the west until he was translated to western languages by contemporary thinkers such as Henry Corbin, and he remains largely unknown even in countries within the Islamic world.Suhrawardi tried to present a new perspective on questions like those of existence.

Endodontic infections have a poly-microbial nature with obligate anaerobic bacteria conspicuously dominating the microbiota in primary infections. The vast majority of micro-organisms in nature invariably grow and function as members of metabolically integrated communities, or biofilms. These biofilms are responsible for most of the chronic infections and almost all recalcitrant infections in human beings. The objectives of root canal treatment are to dissolve vital or necrotic pulp tissues, disrupt endodontic biofilms, neutralize endotoxins and remove smear layer. Applying the biofilm concept to endodontic microbiology helps to understand the pathogenic potential of the root canal microbiota and to form new approaches in root canal disinfection.

This book has five parts. The first chapter introduces and evaluates fiber optics for contemporary communication. Chapter two shows fiber optic network components, propagation modes, and dispersion. This chapter covers several optical amplification methods. The third chapter covers optical network transmission, modulation and demodulation, transmitter and receiver parts, multiplexing techniques, and optical cable and connector types. Chapter four also covers passive optical networks, point-to-point and point-to-multipoint networks. This chapter clarifies optical network-based topology types. The goal of the current inquiry was to gather information on post-harvest fungal infections in Tumkur town. The fungus-infected produce was brought to the study centre at J.S.S. Arts, Science and Commerce College in Gokak, Belagavi district, Karnataka, from Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Market in Tumkur. During the course of the investigation, 150 samples in total were taken. The samples were subjected to fungal isolation and research. In total, 9 fungal types from 6 genera were recorded from vegetables, whereas 8 fungal types from 8 genera were identified from fruits. The current study found that a sizeable proportion of fruits and vegetables had fungal infections, which led to losses. In the study area, it is also noted that fruit loss is higher than vegetable loss. More fungal species affected vegetables than fruits, with more fungal species impacting vegetables. Because of the suitable environment, disease incidence peaked between June and November. The study unmistakably shows that there is a huge possibility to research fruit and vegetable storage market diseases in order to develop a cure for these illnesses and extend the shelf life of the produce.

A graph is a mathematical model which is applicable to any system involving binary relation. This book on "Contextualizing Christian Healing Among the Nyambo" is meant to help Christian communities and other groups to study, practice and share the Bible message on healing contextually. It focuses mainly on the relationship between Christian healing and the Nyambo-African indigenous understanding on healing. The study encourages readers to respond to Christian healing in a way that respects and values traditional cultural heritage on healing, taking into consideration the fact that the biblical message on healing has to be translated and contextualized into every receiving context.
