Multi-residue concentrations of systemic pesticides were analysed in cocoa beans sampled from the Western North region. The main objectives of the study were to assess the residue concentrations of 12 systemic insecticides, 16 systemic fungicides and 10 systemic herbicides in the sampled cocoa beans, and compare the residue concentrations detected with the European Union¿s Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) of cocoa beans to ascertain whether or not it is safe to consume cocoa beans products from the Western Region. In terms of food safety as it relates to pesticide residue concentrations, cocoa beans from the Western North Region can be considered to be of good quality, and safe to consume as it poses no health risk to its consumers and will not face threat to the cocoa industry as far as shipment to Europe is concerned. Farmer education is recommended on pesticide application to prevent the accumulation of pesticide residues in cocoa beans in the future. It was suggested that a future study be conducted on the residue levels of these systemic pesticides to be determined for the nibs, shells of cocoa beans, soils of cocoa farms and water bodies close to cocoa.

The aim of this monograph encompasses a comprehensive exploration of methodological and practical aspects associated with the definition of the concept of "profit" from both an economic perspective and in terms of accounting and tax considerations. Throughout the course of this investigation, it has been established that within contemporary accounting practices, there exist a number of paradoxes. One of these paradoxes revolves around the presence of profit without an equivalent amount of cash on hand. Specifically, there are instances where the financial statements represent a profit from the enterprise's operations for the reporting period, while the actual funds in the accounts are significantly less than the reported profit figure. Consequently, this discrepancy gives rise to misunderstandings between management and the accounting department regarding the magnitude of the profit.Furthermore, this study underscores the significance of information resources within the context of financial reporting.

Maxillary sinus pneumatization is a physiological process that occurs in all paranasal sinuses during the growth period, in order to increase the volume and this process is accelerated after tooth extraction. The maxillary subantral augmentation procedure is a well-established technique for increasing bone volume in the deficient posterior maxilla. The sinus lift procedure has increasingly become a common practice especially when the insufficient heights of residual bone prevent the placement of dental implants in the maxillary posterior alveolar ridge. Numerous studies have shown that the dental implant survival rate is higher in patients whose dental implants were placed in grafted sinuses than the dental implants placed without sinus lifts.

The Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) compression block is constructed using a parameterized approach, introducing a free parameter into the design. To create this parameterized DWT compression block, we utilize a biorthogonal wavelet filter bank. This approach allows for the establishment of a key-space for lightweight multimedia encryption. The parameterization yields rational coefficients, resulting in an efficient fixed-point hardware implementation. Achieving a clock speed of over 244 MHz on a Xilinx Virtex 2P FPGA, this method proves highly effective. A comparison with existing approaches highlights the significant advantages in terms of throughput and hardware overhead when integrating security features into the DWT architecture.

This study aims to answer the following question: How do external factors, particularly the global political economy and means of democracy promotion affect democratic transitions? With a special focus on Indonesia and Azerbaijan (1998-2005) and through using Larry Diamond's model of democracy transition, this study argues that external factors play a significant role in the transition (or lack of transition) towards democracy. While in Indonesia, the global political economy increased the vulnerability of Indonesia to the risks of international economic crises, hence leading to the decline in economic growth and eventually undermining the legitimacy of Suharto, in Azerbaijan, Oil played a different role in strengthening international economic relations, improving economic growth and consolidating Ilham Aliyev's regime. Similarly, state actors, non-state actors, international organisations. democratic assistance and democratic diffusion played a key role in promoting democracy in Indonesia while demoting democracy in Azerbaijan.

Biomass has an enormous potential to be used as an alternative energy source. As compared to other renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydro, biomass gives CO2 and H2 which are mainly used to produce biofuel. The present work provides the details of numerical investigation of Neem and Ashoka leaves as a biomass feedstock for fixed-bed downdraft gasifier to produce Syngas. This work focuses on selection criteria and evaluation of thermochemical characterization of Neem and Ashoka leaves respectively.In the downdraft gasifier, biomass undergoes a series of processes such as drying in the drying zone, pyrolysis in the pyrolysis zone, combustion in the combustion zone, and gasification in the reduction zone respectively and get converted into a mixture of gases along with char at the bottom of gasifier. This gaseous mixture contains CO, CO2, H2O, H2, CH4, and higher hydrocarbon. The study concludes that both Neem and Ashoka leaves was having a high potential to be used as biomass for producing syngas which was proved to be a sustainable and eco-friendly source of energy.

The purpose of the study is to examine the various actions taken and status achieved relating to school education in Rajasthan districts. To examine the determinants of Dropout rate and Gross Enrolment Rate in great detail (2015-2016) and challenges also ahead looked into. The present study uses cross-sectional data obtained from main one source i.e. official website of DISE (District Information System for Education), data available of 581 districts in 29 states of India but this study taken the district information report of Rajasthan¿s 33 districts for 2015-16 on 12 data points for the analysis forms the basis of our investigation... The reliability of analyses based on this data is subject to the limitation of collecting such a huge data. The correlates of two major components of school education namely enrolment and dropout examined using cross- sectional data available at district levels. Since it would be impossible to incorporate every potential aspect to examine school education system we limit to select seven variables of enrolment and four variables responsible for dropout rate in school education.

Intrusion is a desirable orthodontic tooth movement however, it is limited principally by inadequate dental anchorage with conventional intrusion mechanics, when an arch wire develops an active intrusion force against the anterior teeth; it simultaneously develops an extrusive force and tip-back moment against the anchor molars. Bilateral Mini-implants serve as an efficient source of anchorage for achieving true incisor intrusion of anterior teeth in deep overbite correction. Single mini implant placed below the anterior nasal spine is an effective andbiologically sound method to achieve true incisor intrusion. They do not have any deleterious side effects on the posterior segment, especially in patients withunfavorable growth patterns and non-growing patients.

The environmental threat by industrial and agricultural wastes has been emerging as a huge issue for society for the whole world as well. As there are fewer means to dispose them off, or they are not taken seriously. Many states of India have been capable of disposing off these wastes, but for the states where production is high obviously the waste production is also high, like Punjab, as one of the largest rice producers in India. The issue of burning of rice straw has been emerging as a worse environmental threat to the state as well as other states. To eradicate the ill effects of rice straw waste, there is need to put the rice straw in some productive use. The area, where the study was carried, is having rice straw in abundance. In this study, rice straw is used to improve in the engineering properties of clayey sand with rice straw. Rice straw fibers are incorporated with the soil in varying percentages of 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, and 3% by dry weight of soil in size of 0.5 mm to 3 mm. The tests performed are standard proctor test, CBR test. It was observed that mixing of rice straw fiber at varying percentage increases the dry density and CBR value of soil.
