Les Réseaux Bayésiens (RBs) et les Réseaux Bayésiens Dynamiques(RBDs) sont particulièrement appropriés à la collecte et la représentation de connaissances incertaines, mais aussi ils permettent d'effectuer efficacement des calculs probabilistes et des analyses statistique. Ces modèles graphiques attirent de plus en plus l¿attention des chercheurs en fiabilité des systèmes grâce à leurs propriétés de modélisation qui ont permis de représenter efficacement certains aspects de la fiabilité qui représentent des challenges pour les méthodes classiques d¿analyse de la fiabilité. L¿aspect temporel, en d¿autre terme la fiabilité dynamique est un des thèmes les plus important dans ce domaine. Dans ce travail, nous étudions les travaux les plus importants proposés dans la littérature dédiée à la l'utilisation des RBs pour l'estimation de la fiabilité des systèmes. Ainsi, nous proposons une méthode générique d¿analyse et d¿estimation de la fiabilité des systèmes dynamiques en utilisant les RBs en tant qu'un outil d¿extraction de connaissances. Ce livre s'adresse aux personnes qui veulent s'initier aux RBs et étudier l'estimation de la fiabilité des systèmes basée sur les RBs.

The present book was conducted to analyse the most common errors in translation from Arabic and Kurdish into English by students majoring in English at Duhok University, Iraq. It aimed to identify and classify these errors in an attempt to explain their possible causes. Most of the errors made by Iraqi students are typical of systematic intralingual errors which are found in numerous case-studies of errors of students from different language backgrounds as reported by Richards (1974), Jain (1974), Ellis (1994), Gass and Selinker (1994) and Coelho et al. (2004). They illustrate some of the general characteristics of L2 acquisition such as over-generalization, simplification, faulty learning and incomplete application of rules. It is hoped that the findings of the study will lead to recommendations that will improve the English language teaching ¿ learning process at Iraqi universities. It is also hoped that this piece of research will help English language teachers and syllabus designers adapt their teaching methods and curriculum to students¿ needs in order to reduce their errors and provide them with corrective feedback and remedial measures based on the frequency of errors.

This book addresses the college EFL learners. It is concerned with providing concise course-book to the students who study poetry of the Romantic and Victorian periods. The introduction of the book¿s editor contains two notes. The first addresses the teacher who is going to deal with this book to explain to them their role as a guide for the students more than of a teacher. The second note addresses the EFL learners themselves to encourage them to take the responsibility of their learning in the guidance of their poetry teacher. In addition to the introduction, the content of the book is of two parts. Each part is of two chapters. The first one provides the historical cultural background and the influences it cast on the poetry of the period, whereas the second chapter provides some selected poets with some selected poems of theirs as examples of the eräs poetic voices. Finally, the material was generally intended to give the learners the keys of how to appreciate poetry of the said eras as a stepping-stone in the world of poetry criticism.

This work addresses the potentiality of an Iraqi federation. Since its creation, exploitation has been the key to governance in Iraq. Under the colonial mandate and imposed monarchy and then centralization of authority, Iraq¿s diverse communities have found themselves fragmented. The absolute control of the Bäath Party through killing and instigating fear for decades has deepened this disintegration. After the regime change in 2003 and the creation of a new federal constitution in 2005, some hopes were raised about the future of Iraq. Although federalism is thought to be the most suited governance model for Iraq, its application has not been successful in over 10 years after adoption. In light of recent developments, the effective implementation of federalism will require structural changes in Iraq¿s political, military, and economic systems to decentralize power and wealth from the center (Baghdad) to the periphery (Kurdistan and future regions). Iraq may even need to negotiate a new political compact to adopt an alternate form of federalism ¿perhaps as a confederation¿ to preserve its integrity. Failure to implement a functional solution will divide the country.

Parmi les semiconducteurs les plus promoteurs pour la fabrication des cellules solaires en couches minces, le disulfure de cuivre et d¿indium CuInS2 sous sa structure chalcopyrite. Notre choix pour élaborer des films CuInS2 a été porté sur la technique de la pulvérisation chimique dite Spray Pyrolysis. Ce choix a été dicté par la nécessité de fabriquer des couches minces avec des faibles coûts et avec des propriétés répondants aux critères photovoltaïques. Dans ce travail nous avons élaboré des couches minces de CuInS2 par la technique de pulvérisation atomique dite « Spray pyrolysis » avec l¿air sur des substrats en verre préchauffés. L¿effet des trois paramètres expérimentaux sur les propriétés des couches a été étudié; à savoir la température de dépôt, le temps de pulvérisation et le rapport des concentrations des éléments constituants la solution à pulvériser Cu/In. Après l¿élaboration, les films de CuInS2 ont subi une série de caractérisation structurale, morphologique, optique et électrique respectivement en utilisant, le diffractomètre des rayons X, le microscope électronique à balayage, le microscope à force atomique, la spectroscopie RAMAN,la quatre pointe.

La production d'énergie électrique était et demeure depuis plusieurs années un atout favorable pour tout développement économique . Etant aussi un facteur significatif de bonne vie et de plaisance pour l¿être humain , malgré que cela a un prix qui est la vie de la terre avec ces ressources surtout fossile ,et l'environnement avec ces problèmes d'ordre écologique . This collection of papers on literary, historical, and cultural issues is presented in honor of Prof. Albert Arazi of the Hebrew University, for his efforts in the elucidation of classical Arabic literature. His unique studies are of enormous significance in modern academic research, locally and internationally. We begin with a brief review of Prof. Arazi¿s education and academic life: He received his bachelor¿s degree from Léon University in France, in Arabic and French language and literature. He then went on to obtain his MA and Ph.D. at the Sorbonne in Paris, under the supervision of the orientalist Charles Pellat. Arazi's summa cum laude doctoral thesis, entitled Humor Poetry in the Abbasid Period in the 8th and 9th Centuries was submitted in 1974. In 1969, Arazi began to lecture in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Hebrew University. He received an appointment to lecturer in 1976, senior lecturer in 1979, associate professor in 1983, and full professor in 1990. He retired in 2006.

The Bildungsroman genre traces the development of the protagonist in a literary work from youth to adulthood in order to highlight the significant changes from innocence to experience and from naivety to maturity. Bildungsromane in the twentieth century revolve around sentimentality and emotional turmoil, so the growth of the personality starts from the heart, as the protagonists seek solutions in religion, love or social attachment. However, in the twenty-first century, the coming-of-age novels focus on the head not the heart, so they oppose those in the previous century as the mental turmoil has replaced the emotional turmoil, or the turmoil of the heart. Jane Housham (2013) describes this emotional numbness and continual stream of boredom as a sign of ¿autism¿. Therefore, the characteristics of postmodern Bildungsroman protagonists reflect the changes taking place in the whole world, such as the fast pace of life and the development of technology.This book summarizes the history of the Bildungsroman/coming-of-age genre in order to identify the differences between the elements of contemporary coming-of-age novels and their predecessors in the twentieth century.

William Butler Yeats is a literary pillar of twentieth-century modernism. He was interested in the mystical and mythical elements of the dominant world cultures. Accordingly, he interpreted history in a context that broadly negotiated with magic, the occult, theosophy, alchemy, astrology, mythology, mysticism, and religion. He was not attracted to any specific culture, even though he was an enthusiastic poet of his Celtic culture, particularly in his early work. His dual Anglo-Irish identity did create a severe conflict in his personality; however, that conflict was fruitful, as it led him to consider most of the significant cultures during his lifetime. His Romantic background and affinity further led him to the Romantic East, then exemplified by the charming stories and magic of the Arabian Nights. The Eastern influence in Yeats¿s work extended to include the mystical visions found in Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism or Cabbala, and Islam or Sufism. He saw his own Celtic culture as rooted in the East; and his love of that culture brought him into a direct opposition with modernity and motivated him, along with Lady Gregory and J. M. Synge, to launch the Irish cultural revival.

Le développement du domaine de transport a amélioré le mode de déplacement des gens d¿une part mais a favorisé la survenance des accidents de la circulation d¿autre part. Ces accidents peuvent être d¿une sévérité volatile causant des dégâts matériels et humains. La prise en charge de ces dégâts engendre des coûts aux organismes qui s¿en chargent tels que les compagnies d¿assurances et les hôpitaux. L¿objectif de notre travail étant l¿évaluation de ces coûts afin d¿évaluer les pertes de ressources pouvant être utilisées dans le développement d¿autres domaine la santé notamment. Afin de répondre à notre problématique nous avons procédé à la collecte de données auprès de différents organismes à savoir : la gendarmerie nationale ; la police et la protection civile. Cela nous a permis de cerner l¿importance de ce phénomène ainsi que les facteurs qui le causent en Algérie de manière générale et à Bejaia de manière particulière. En outre, nous avons effectué un stage au sein de la SAA afin de comprendre le mécanisme du remboursement des frais des dégâts subis par les victimes.

Cette étude a pour objectif le suivi de la dynamique de la population d¿une colonie de cigognes blanche C. ciconia installée dans un milieu anthropisé, pendant deux saisons de reproduction consécutives 2011 et 2012, Le timing de la reproduction et de l¿emplacement des nids chez les oiseaux coloniaux peut avoir des conséquences sur leur fitness. En particulier, il a été démontré que les reproducteurs périphériques sont moins performants que ceux du centre de la colonie, la date de ponte moyenne variait considérablement entre les années et différait entre le centre et le périphérique avec de ponte plus précoce survenant dans le centre de la colonie. La ponte dans les grands nids commence plus tôt que dans les petits dans la zone centrale, mais ni la taille du nid, ni la position du nid le long du gradient centre-périphérie eu aucune influence sur les paramètres de reproduction étudiés Ex. La taille des couvées, le succès d¿éclosion et la productivité en termes de poussins. Il n¿y avait aucune différence inter annuelle pour la taille de la couvée qui a était en moyenne 4,7 ± 0,7 ¿uf (N= 156 couvées).
