This research work is focused on the analysis of a reality in our society in which the worker is involved in an issue of violation of his pension rights by his employer, seeking in this way to solve with this contribution the problem that burdens thousands of workers, many of them being of advanced age, and also to make known the constitutional rights that protect them against this violation and guarantee their pension figure, as well as to ensure the funds and pension reserves, Also to point out the great legal vacuum that exists since there is no adequate typification in the Peruvian Penal Code, these crimes would only be applied specifically and not generically, seeking in this way to dissuade with effective imprisonment the employer who retains the contributions of the workers that should be destined to their funds for the calculation of their retirement, since these pension contributions are intangible and protected with constitutional principles that are based on the right to social security of the worker.

An expedition through deep Mexico in search of the serpent, the jaguar of light and the resplendent quetzal. As well as the "Pueblos del Jaguar", direct descendants of the Mother culture of Mesoamerica: Olmec. The "Children of the Jaguar" are the legitimate and ancestral owners of these megadiverse territories, which they have defended and protected for centuries against the main enemy of life: the ecocidal capitalism of these times.

Nowadays, in a world of competition, where the one who best adapts to the changes of his environment survives, this is what a professional graduated from a university or high school faces, the competitive market demands to be in constant training which implies that everyone has to be constantly studying, has to be updated in the course of time, facing this we have the question: how to learn to learn individually, making use of the resources and strategies that one has. In most of the universities of the country, the way of developing mathematics classes is done in the classroom, in which the student sometimes comes ready to learn, but with a great dependence in his learning on what his teacher can teach him, and in the unique way in which he carries out his classes, being very good for some but very uncomfortable for others. Believing that it is something normal, they limit themselves to accept such process, being the teacher the central axis of their knowledge.

Regarding Afro-descendants in Mexico, they are not even mentioned as part of the cultural and social component of Mexicans; for many we only have two roots: the Spanish and the indigenous, the black root goes unnoticed, institutionally it does not exist, it has been erased. They have been denied recognition of their contribution to the construction of the Mexican nation, and not only that, they have been tried to hide them, to minimize them, to whiten them. To struggle along the path of concealment, of discrimination, of invisibilization for our Afro-Mexican population has been extremely ominous, however, clinging to the Afro identity has allowed them to recover, to some extent, what they have been denied: self-identification, whether as brown, black or Afro-Mexican.

On August 30, 2023, a group of soldiers put an end to the regime embodied by President Ali Bongo Ondimba, who had ruled Gabon for 14 years. Unlike other coups d'état in Africa, notably in Niger, Gabon's political class, including the opposition and the majority, civil society and religious organizations, welcomed the coup d'état. This book attempts to understand the reasons behind this coup de force, addressing both the historical and socio-political aspects of Gabon. It looks at the impact this historic event could have on the party that has held power until now: the Gabonese Democratic Party. He describes not only the approach that this party should take, but also the contribution that it can make to the success of this regime change that everyone wants to see. He outlines the foundations for the establishment of a new, stronger Gabonese republic, based on a foundation of universal and traditional values, strong institutions and people enlightened by the ideal of a Gabon that is the dawn of Africa.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the neural relationships (learning of knowledge and skills) around organisational development in administrative staff, teachers and students of a public university in the State of Mexico. Studies on organisational development have often dealt with the adaptation of an organisation to the contingencies of the environment. Or it is a process of diagnosis, strategy, implementation and evaluation aimed at improving the quality of processes and products.

This reading offers to scientific researchers, an indispensable and non-existent guide to design qualitative interviews, specifying the structural, epistemological, methodological and ontological interdisciplinary paths to be used. Considering Freud (1912), Kvale (2011), Martinez (2002, 2006, 2011 and 2014), Moreno (1959) and Ruiz (1996 and 2012), among others, the Bintrafocused Matrix is innovated, whose use prevents the risk of dispersion of the researcher in the phase of information gathering, responding to "What" (goals) to establish, "Why" and "how" to search for information. It emerges from its use, academic discussion, consultation with multidisciplinary experts and calibration interviews, an instrument called "Charter Interview", inspired by psychoanalytic Psychodrama, the interviewees vividly act during the meeting, immersed in a sort of theatrical scenario, guided with techniques similar to those of Role Exchange, Mirror and Imaginary. It is concluded that the Bintrafocused Matrix prevents the risk of investigative dispersion and the Charter Interview significantly improves the projection of the imaginary in the interviewees.

Research work carried out in the Judicial District of Santa in 2017 through the study of cases of Judicial Files of the Fourth Court of Preparatory Investigation of the Superior Court of Justice of Santa in charge of the Titular Judge Dr. Jorge Luis Chávez Tamariz, in order to observe and understand in greater depth how the application of the Immediate Process has been presented through its modif.

The most common oral disease is tooth decay. Experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) currently rank it as the world's third most common disease, after neoplasia and cardiovascular disease. As the most frequent oral disease in schools, caries remains a subject of interest for dentists working in schools to improve the health of Tunisian pupils.For several years now, Tunisia has been running programs to promote oral health in schools.The aims of this study are:- Specify the characteristics of oral health in a school in the city of Sfax.- Identify shortcomings in lifestyle and access to health care, and their repercussions on the oral and dental health of the population studied.- Propose recommendations for improvement in the school environment.

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the use of information and communication technologies and learning in second grade high school students. The study was quantitative, with a correlational-transversal design, non-experimental, a sample of 53 second grade high school students, a questionnaire was used as an instrument, validated by expert judgment, and with a reliability of 0.880. According to the normality test, Pearson was used for hypothesis testing. According to the results, the instrumental, cognitive and attitudinal dimensions of the use of information and communication technology are directly related to learning achievement at high and moderate levels, respectively. In conclusion, the use of information and communication technology is directly related to learning achievement with the p-value of 0.000 being less than 0.05.

New models of schooling based on open systems of organization and administration of services, which combine and recognize the formal and non-formal aspects of education -although not in a rhetorical way-, as well as the responsible and ethical construction of knowledge to guarantee that education truly fulfills its mission of improving people by helping them to obtain conceptual, procedural and attitudinal competencies to intervene in the world from any personal situation, without exclusions based on age, race, sex or condition, It is necessary, beyond the fact that this work only outlines some guidelines that are not a recipe, but only try to trigger initiatives tailored to each reality. We have resorted to concepts of self-organization, networks, technologies, decentralization, bimodal education, autonomous learning, quality, good practices in education, in order to escape from highly structured systems overtaken by the vertiginous cultural changes.

The Iliac Plate is a new orthopedic implant developed to perform osteosynthesis of ilial body fractures. Nine surgeries to repair fractures of the ilium were performed in dogs of different breeds using this plate and very good results were obtained in all cases. The main characteristic of this plate is its design that allows the placement of several screws in a small area and has a lateral angulation of 12.5º that avoids the reduction of the pelvic canal lumen.

The aim of this book is to provide a technical and simplified view of the concept of "death", which most health professionals are often unaware of. Death is not an instant, but a process that does not know when it actually begins and when it actually ends. Different phenomena appear at each stage of cadaveric putrefaction, which serve as a basis for determining the time elapsed since death.

Mexico currently ranks first in the world in childhood obesity and second in adult obesity. Obesity is also a major risk factor for other chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. One of the lines of long-term treatment for obesity should be nutrition education in conjunction with emotional management. This research arose because it is well recognised that emotions have a major effect on food choices and eating habits. Empirical evidence has been found that the influence of emotions on eating behaviour is stronger in obese people than in non-obese people. It has also been suggested that emotion in itself cannot be responsible for excessive eating. Only by understanding the emotional factors can we reinforce healthy habits that allow us to control our weight. Long-term success will not be through isolated nutritional or psychological therapies, but rather the conviction to generate a healthy lifestyle.

This thesis was written in response to an interest in the topic of diversity and the desire to demonstrate the value of diversity management in elementary institutions in the context of immigration in light of current globalisation and migration processes. To this end, systematic literature research was used to analyse which diversity strategies could be relevant for the child education and care sector and how staff in training or further education are enabled to deal with the complexity of interculturality. Furthermore, the systemic interaction between organisation, manager and staff is examined. In addition, this research paper looks at the significance and strategy of diversity management using the example of the City of Linz's kindergartens. The results show that, above all, self-reflection and continuous engagement with the topic of diversity are essential. Intercultural competence can be learned, but does not develop by itself and requires above all the willingness of the entire organisation as well as sufficient time resources.

A study on the evaluation of professional competences of university students is presented. A didactic model is offered that interprets from the pedagogical sciences the realization of this process and a strategy is offered to the teachers to follow for its instrumentation in the educational practice. Examples of evaluative instruments in the Systems Engineering career are shown. This book is the result of a doctoral thesis in pedagogical sciences carried out in Ecuador, defended at the University of Holguin, Cuba in 2017, but with the difference of offering the university teaching community a broader and more generalized vision (that serves to any university career) of how to carry out this evaluative process.

The use of quality seeds is of fundamental importance to the agricultural sector, in order to guarantee greater productivity, uniformity and the establishment of crops in general. Forage crops, however, have major germination problems, causing higher costs when establishing pastures, as they require higher sowing rates. In order to mitigate these situations, there has been an increasing search for alternatives that promote high germination rates without damaging the vigour of these seeds. Gibberellic acid has proved to be a potential alternative, since it is a natural substance produced by the plant and is closely linked to germination, growth and development, which has led to great efficiency in increasing productivity in agriculture with its use.

Torture is one of the most serious violations of human rights and is one of the ultimate acts of violence and "perversion" of one human being over another. It transcends not only the individual sphere, since it reaches all the vital spheres of those involved. The United Nations published the "Istanbul Protocol", which is the international instrument par excellence for documenting torture and its consequences, as it sets out the general principles to be followed, the obligations of states to prevent, investigate and punish it, as well as the minimum elements that must be included in expert opinions. The Stabul Protocol highlights the central role of psychological assessment in an investigation of torture.

Inflammation plays a crucial role in cancer development. Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), systemic immunoinflammation index (SII) and Albumin are indices of inflammation. Objective to investigate the association of these with overall survival (OS) in patients with advanced stages of oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. In the teaching-learning process, the social actors involved contribute their knowledge and experiences. We must all be prepared and open to the possibility of learning, of knowing how to listen and of achieving the professional training of the student and the teaching training of the professor. In the present work, a theoretical analysis is carried out based on an investigation of the elements of social interaction in the higher educational order.

The general objective of this research was to analyze Neuromarketing for cookie franchises in the municipality of Maracaibo. The study population consisted of twelve experimental subjects, the sample consisted of customers who go to this type of premises, at least once a week, living in the municipality of Maracaibo, over 18 years old, with similar socioeconomic characteristics and consumption habits, in order to choose the most convenient. The observation technique was used by means of surveys, through three (03) instruments, one called pre-test with 16 items, another experimental phase with 20 items and the last final phase with 28 items, with a mixed questionnaire. Validated by 6 experts in the marketing area. The results show that neuromarketing for cookie franchises in the municipality of Maracaibo offers a positive tool to measure sensations, experiences, expectations and feelings based on neurocommunication behavior, thus providing powerful help to customers in the purchase decision process.

Prostate cancer is the leading cause of worldwide incidence of neoplastic disease. On the other hand, inflammation plays a vital role in the spread of cancer cells. The aim of this work was to determine whether NLR and PLR inflammatory indices in prostate cancer patients have a prognostic value for survival and/or predictive of the effect of CIMAVAX-EGF and Nimotuzumab immunotherapy treatments. The results of the present investigation showed that the NLR index decreased and the PLR index increased over time for all treatments. A low NLR proved to be prognostic for the survival of patients in the CIMAvax-EGF trial. Also, the PLR index showed that its predictive value is due to the fact that patients with high PLR treated with Nimotuzumab have a longer survival than controls. The present work shows that the NLR and PLR indices are an accessible and cost-effective laboratory tool that provides prognostic and predictive information for prostate cancer and associated immunotherapeutic treatments.

This book addresses the reality of labour relations in which constitutional rights such as human dignity, the right to leisure and personality rights are repeatedly violated. It is possible to visualise that the right to personality has generated extreme relevance for the expansion of the subject and, consequently, the careful analysis of its due peculiarities. The case law presented clearly shows that existential damage in the employment relationship has become commonplace, and therefore the courts have been in favour of recognising and compensating it as off-balance sheet damage and not merely moral damage.

Reading comprehension is the basis of any efficient learning process and this in turn requires developed language skills, semantic and morpho-semantic comprehension that allow literal, inferential and critical levels of reading. Therefore, this research monograph seeks to promote the process of reading comprehension through narrative texts (the story and the fable) in the students of grade 5ºE of the afternoon session of the María Inmaculada de San Marcos Educational Institution, Sucre, since, thanks to a diagnostic test, significant deficiencies in the comprehension of narrative texts were detected, this information was corroborated through an interview with the teacher. For this purpose, a strategy called "Reading and understanding is the passage to imagination" was designed, where, through the story and the fable, the students entered the world of imagination, taking advantage of the native stories of the region.

In older people, physiological changes have implications for their quality of life and facilitate or modify the expression or severity of their conditions. Compromised nutritional status in older adults also implies a risk of infections, falls and fractures, development of pressure ulcers, anaemia and decompensation of pre-existing chronic diseases. The presence of infections or other chronic diseases, together with the increasing presence of malignant neoplasms, are the most frequent causes of anaemia in the elderly. We report the determination of haemoglobin levels in a Cuban geriatric population under baseline conditions and its comparison with a group of young individuals, and identified the presence of anaemia and its causes in them. The average haemoglobin did not differ from the comparison group and 46.7% of the elderly were anaemic. The average haemoglobin level in the study population did not differ from the rest, although with increasing age the haemoglobin level decreased and the prevalence of anaemia increased.

The Cerrado biome is present in almost all Brazilian states and is the second largest biome in Brazil. Through bibliographical research, this book sought to demonstrate the nutritional and medicinal characteristics of the Jatobá-do-cerrado (Hymenaea stigonocarpa) and Jatobá-da-mata (Hymenaea courbaril). Jatobá is a tree species of the genus Hymenaea, of the family Leguminosae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae, it is a typical legume of the Brazilian cerrado, rich in fibre, minerals and essential oils, due to its high nutritional value and antioxidants present in its composition it is necessary to carry out studies aimed at its use in human and animal food and also its use in the development of new medicines, as well as in the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases. Scientific studies will also help to conserve the species, as greater use of its seeds, flowers and fruit will provide local people who already use jatobá flour with other sources of income, thus protecting the species through sustainable management.

It is with great pleasure that we present a collection of articles with academic experiences in technical consultancy in social housing. These are papers presented at the latest editions of the Social Housing Seminar (SHIS), promoted by UFSJ's GEPHIS.Technical advice has been recognized as a tool for guaranteeing the right to adequate housing, promoting social inclusion, valuing the efforts made in construction, improving the quality of construction and reducing construction costs.Academic production in this area is essential for improving practices, disseminating knowledge and strengthening the exchange of experiences between professionals, institutions and communities. In this sense, this book presents a series of methodologies, results achieved and challenges faced; and its analysis allows an understanding of the aspects involved in the field of action in question. We hope, therefore, to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the field of technical advice on social housing and to have an impact on the implementation of public policies for decent housing. The role of women in society has progressively changed, breaking the model imposed until then, a model in which women's only roles were reproduction and submission to men. Female criminality has been progressively on the rise and despite the developments that this topic has had in the Portuguese context, there is a lack of studies that focus on how women are perceived and treated by the justice system. Therefore, this research sought to clarify which factors are taken into account by judicial actors when judging crimes committed by women, analysing more specifically the possible influence of socially established gender roles in relation to the female figure.

The study focuses and establishes critical, current views regarding organizational behavior in public entities, such as policies on existing job dissatisfaction, possibly due to the lack of emotional intelligence related to decision making; It is possible that what is described is a consequence of the lack of communication and that possibly the degree of leadership is not achieved at the appropriate levels, as a corollary there would be labor conflicts; there is concern that the policies that are designed would not be the most appropriate, consequently the possible pre-existing internal control, would not be achieving the objectives set.

The professionalisation of teaching is based on the challenge of learning, of discovering the real meaning of being human. From this perspective, university teaching and the professionalisation of teachers must go through several stages, and take into account the experience of the school space with affinity between the basic education and university communities since childhood. In my work, my aim has always been to strengthen the links between these communities, to bring to light the importance of bringing them closer together with a proposal for continuing education and more complete training. Preparing future professionals for the school environment and bringing basic education students into line with the university environment. In the research, I address issues related to assessment, the production of teaching resources and the professionalisation of teachers in Brazil in the current scenario.
