Pretreatment Inflammation Indices in Carcinoma of the Oral Cavity

Inflammation plays a crucial role in cancer development. Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), systemic immunoinflammation index (SII) and Albumin are indices of inflammation. Objective to investigate the association of these with overall survival (OS) in patients with advanced stages of oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. Methods, in which a total of 108 patients were included. NLR, PLR, SII and Total Albumin were calculated. The cut-off value was determined using "bhm" in R 3.5.0.
