If tomorrow a law comes into force that you consider burdensome because it diminishes or modifies in some way the exercise of a right that you enjoy, which of the following options would you choose: a. Seek some exception, interpretation or ambiguous wording of the law to "escape" its effects, b. march for its repeal, or c. initiate a legal process to avoid its application. Always, in any case and in the face of any possibility you can imagine, the problem between the new law and you will ultimately come down to whether or not it will be applied to you; and, if so, what could you do about it if the law is not suitable for your case? According to the idea that we will develop in this book, for a regulatory provision to be adequately applied, it is relevant to take into account these two factors: its scope of action and its effects; working with both will allow us to develop a method of application through degrees or intensities, useful for anyone to know if the provision and its application is adequate, and to have a notion of what to do in case it is not.

The aim of this book is to present the need for studies related to the protection of the tourist consumer, paying special attention to the reality of the consumer market within the Southern Common Market - MERCOSUR, demonstrating, by analysing domestic and foreign legislative institutes, the market and case law precedents, the need for better adaptation of consumer rules for the protection of the tourist consumer.

In recent years the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to hepatocellular adenoma has undergone considerable innovations. New imaging techniques have revolutionized diagnosis and have also made it possible to investigate the subtype of the lesion. The development of molecular studies has demonstrated the existence of several subtypes of the tumor, with different behavior, which implies a different therapeutic concept. These facts have significantly influenced surgical approaches. Classically the surgical indication was universal, however there has been a change in the therapeutic attitude, with a more conservative tendency, limiting the indications for liver resection and liver transplantation. The new molecular classification of adenomas, together with immunohistochemical techniques, allow us to establish different scenarios that will help us to establish specific therapeutic criteria. Likewise, the development of minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as laparoscopy and robotics, which are increasingly used, pose a change of scenario since they involve less aggression for the surgical patient.

ICT has become a transversal axis of all formative action. The new technological space is a vehicle and promoter of transformations in education and a challenge for trainers. This technological development imposes innovation and demands the constant updating of techniques and professional resources in all areas, with the teaching field being particularly sensitive. In Angola, the approach of Higher Education by competencies is based on the constructivist models of cognitive, psychosocial and sociocultural development in correspondence with the approaches proposed by UNESCO, which imply the development of ICT competencies based on its standards in educational centers at all levels. Universities, being open educational systems, cannot be oblivious to the changes occurring in their environment, so they take into consideration the needs of social policies, where the importance of having ICT skills for personal and social development is pointed out.

A succinct and objective presentation of the use of multivariate analysis through Full Factorial Design, describing the analyses that can be carried out, as well as the interpretation of significant parameters using the Pareto diagram with a 95% confidence interval, analysis of variance (ANOVA), surface and contour plots, as well as analysis of predicted vs. observed values with a view to their applicability in microbiological processes.

Video games are gaining ground day by day in the pedagogical field, particularly in second language teaching. However, even with the benefits that have been demonstrated through various research studies, the use of video games as a teaching tool is not evident in the Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Since it is considered that the educational practices of teachers and students are shaped by their beliefs, this paper aims to find the reasons for the lack of use of this tool by analysing and describing the beliefs of students and teachers regarding the use of video games as a tool for teaching second languages.

The Caatinga is one of the Brazilian biomes that has suffered the most from human intervention, reflecting the most varied activities. In this essay, we seek to discuss the importance of preserving the Caatinga and its importance to the semi-arid ecosystem. Knowledge of the species and their importance to the biome itself makes this essay an important manual for analysing the dominant conditions that determine the distribution of certain species.Thus, studies of the environment in the Northeast, and later in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, have come to the fore and the knowledge included in this book has helped in a way to understand the fundamental importance of understanding the Caatinga for its preservation.

This book investigates the extent to which the thematic and formal implications of the language of fiction at the turn of the 20th to the 21st century - with a variety of diction that is imposed on Brazilian literature - illuminate questions about contemporary subjectivity and shed light on the country's history. The research favoured the confrontation between the fictional text and a set of extra-literary particularities that shape the times in which we live. The novels, which are the subject of this study, although they are the centre of attention, are never in isolation, because today it can be seen that the artistic text is constituted and affirmed as a dialogical space of heterogeneity, in which various points of intersection are created between it and other texts and between this art and other aesthetics, thus bringing together various expressions of language. In the end, we come across a rich production, signalling a modernist surpassing, named in the text as post-anthropophagic, in line with the Brazilian temporality whose aesthetic demands call for a new, detached from classical models and not submitted to international modernity.

Heberprot-P® (Herber-Biotec, Cuba) is a genetically engineered epidermal growth factor, an effective drug for the healing of diabetic foot ulcers. Its administration, along with metabolic control, reduces the risk of amputation and improves health-related quality of life (HRQoL). It refers specifically to the health of the individual, and is used to designate the concrete outcomes of clinical assessment and therapeutic decision-making. The new edition of this book expands the information through instruments that assess HRQoL, reflecting the patient's subjective perception of the impact of the disease itself and the treatment administered on the dimensions of their health status.

We compared the clinical outcome, complication rate and positioning of metal anchors used in the arthroscopic treatment of shoulder instability placed through the anteroinferior or subscapular portals. In an observational, case-control study carried out between 2014 and 2016, 33 patients underwent arthroscopic treatment for recurrent shoulder dislocation. The patients were allocated to the study group (n=17) in which the anchor was positioned through the subscapularis tendon portal and the control group in which the anchor was positioned through the anteroinferior portal. Shoulder function was assessed using various scores. The strength of the subscapularis muscle was measured using an electronic dynamometer and the positioning of the anchors was measured and compared using X-rays in the PA and Profile views. The use of the subscapularis portal proved to be safe in relation to neurovascular structures and improved the positioning of the anchor(s) in the anteroinferior aspect of the glenoid compared to the anteroinferior portal, allowing for a more orthogonal placement of the anchor(s). The portal through the subscapularis has no functional repercussions.

One of the problems of V.Hugo's and E.-E. Schmitt's works is the dialogue between East and West as two paradigms of civilizations, the difference of mentalities of which both the leader of French romanticism V.Hugo and our contemporary E.-E. Schmitt try to reconcile and find common points for mutual understanding. The study of the works of both Hugo and Schmitt is productive both in the general humanistic plan and in the narrow - historical-literary, literary studies. The monograph considers the following aspects: the problems of interaction between the literature and culture of the West and the East, their mutual recognition and mutual influence. Appeal to the work of two bright representatives of French literature - V. Hugo and E.-E. Hugo and E.-E. Schmitt in the aspect of revealing the specifics of the problems of their works seems to meet the requirements of the time and fill certain gaps in the study of the works of the masters of French literature.

One of the phenomena that arouses most interest in the field of psychology is the term alcoholism, since after smoking it is one of the causes of illness and deterioration not only in consciousness and behaviour but also in personality, according to WHO statistical reports. However, the incidence of this phenomenon has continued to increase and is currently the leading cause of death in Latin America and is very influential in Cuba, causing great concern. Alcoholism is considered a multi-causal phenomenon due to the various biological, psychological and social deteriorations that occur. It is for this reason that the very process of health and illness is closely related to alcoholism, as it is one of the major risk factors and is considered a model, soft and gateway drug worldwide.

Latin America's longest-running internal armed conflict between the Colombian state and the FARC guerrilla group reached its difficult Peace Accord in September 2016. After an unprecedented failure in a government plebiscite directed to the Colombian people to decide whether or not the government and the FARC should agree on what was agreed, this great achievement for Colombian history marked a turning point for a divided country that suffered indiscriminate violence for many decades but still has difficult challenges to overcome such as inequality, corruption and poverty, which not even the best international cooperation can overcome. However, none of this would have been possible without the intervention and guarantee of various international observers and actors who were involved before, during and after the negotiation process. For this reason, it was possible to analyse in detail the role of the Kingdom of Sweden and its different international cooperation agencies in the Colombian peace process and in a post-agreement context between the FARC and the Colombian government.

To talk about Didactic Methodology and Dynamic Simulation is undoubtedly to highlight the representation of elements of Electrical Engineering in 3D to be studied in the classroom. New Technologies bring a new challenge to the educational system, which consists of moving from a unidirectional model of training, where, in general, the knowledge lies with the teacher or textbooks, to more open and flexible models, where information tends to be shared among students. The creation of dynamic and graphical models, i.e. the modeling of 3D elements, allows us to create systems that can change and evolve. In order for these models to be created, they must be designed through parametric design techniques, which will provide us with the necessary tools to be able to vary the characteristics of the model, giving a complete dynamic and simulation sense of the different elements of the model. If we can also include a simulation of the movement of the elements of the system, a simulation of stresses and strains of the system, it will provide us with very useful and fast results that we could not obtain otherwise.

Thanks to the Internet, new banking and transactional services are available to consumers of banking products. However, today's technologies open up a wide range of possibilities for fraudulent use of a payment card. Yesterday the telephone, SMS, today spam and e-mail make it easy to phish for a payment card. And the number of potential victims of embezzlement is growing all the time. In the absence of gross negligence on the part of the customer, the bank's liability is engaged, and it is obliged to reimburse the sums wrongly deducted from the victim's account. On the other hand, the bank is not liable if gross negligence is proven against the victim. In this case, the misappropriation of bank details is attributable to the customer's lack of caution in the face of spam and messages requesting personal and confidential information.

This text invites us to rethink our work as teachers and to involve new activities, dynamics and strategies as part of the teaching of English in a competitive but at the same time agitated population such as adolescents since, as we know, in some cases these students do not feel motivated to learn a second language and for this reason it is more complicated for the teacher to motivate their students to learn the language; for this reason it is necessary to propose new strategies to improve both the work of the teacher and the student's learning space.

The present work attempts to analyze the influence of the Congolese diplomatic approach in the Great Lakes, an approach focused on the search for lasting peace, security, stability and development in the Great Lakes region in general and in the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular.Indeed, the security crisis caused by the M23, genocide, armed conflict, the proliferation of armed groups, and the resurgence of collective consciousness are driving the Congolese state to set up a diplomacy of influence commensurate with the situation in the region.

Conservation biologists know that each species is a key part of evolution and its loss is a disaster. They look for resources in the natural and social sciences and in the practice of natural resource management. Studies can refer to a single species, taxonomic group, ecosystem or region; to evaluate public policies for systematic conservation planning, scenario modeling or assessment of the maintenance status of species of fauna and flora.

Conjugal love, which is the greatest of friendships according to St. Thomas Aquinas, is the love of benevolence, the love of agape, where the good of my spouse interests me as much as my own good, it is a personal and total donation, exclusive, excluding, irrevocable, it is an element of the essence of matrimonial consent, it is identified with it, it is also its object. Without conjugal love, which is not mere infatuation but an act of will, there is no true marital consent. For can anyone want to celebrate the partnership of a lifetime, the community of life and love that is marriage, with its demands of fidelity, indissolubility, self-giving and total self-giving, if he or she does not love that person? I think that one cannot consent to marriage without love. And since consent is the efficient cause of marriage, without love there is no marriage because there is no consent. Marriage is not born either as a sacrament or as a contract. In this book different canonical doctrinal and jurisprudential positions are presented, in favor of considering marriage as an essential element of consent, or denying it juridical relevance because love is considered a metajuridical element.

Physical Education as a discipline has been transformed throughout history to respond to the needs of humanity, its versatility and adaptability arises from the immense possibilities of intervening in the expressions of man and its role in social dynamics is key to ensure the welfare. Physical Education in Early Childhood is a work that seeks to provide its readers with some clarifications regarding basic conceptual elements in the approach to early childhood from physical education, such as pedagogical guidelines from the area, play and playfulness, as well as insights from professional experts who serve this population and their families in the city of Medellin.

This work is part of the thesis project of the degree in Multimedia Arts of the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. It addresses the multiple dimensions that cross an aesthetic representation, proposed in a multimedia work. The study starts from a singular point of view, which allows the interweaving of new technologies with the work of art. The link is established from the specificity of each field, promoting the process of collective social and historical construction. Technological progress has changed the social context in which we live and consequently, the way and manner of conceiving art in the individual, who now under his own point of view, participates and interacts, including as a cultural object the social actions, assembling the concepts of collective and collaborative in the process of its realization. It is proposed, in this work, to reflect on the constant variations, determined by the new technological means and the contributions that these can introduce in the study of the multiple dimensions.

The last decade of the study of the human brain has been decisive for the application of this research in different disciplines and sciences of all kinds. Hence the need to understand the complexity of the brain using a simple language as does the book "Dialogue with my brain" which resorts to an almost schizophrenic pedagogical strategy in order to bring any professional closer to the wonderful world of the human brain and thus be able to generate multiple applications.

The purpose of this book is to show the legal grounds for the recognition of the presumption of paternity in the de facto union in the Peruvian legal system. Our civil legal system presents normative gaps in the regulation of the presumption of paternity in the de facto union; leaving these families and especially the sons and daughters of the cohabitants unprotected and defenseless; therefore, constitutional principles must be resorted to in order to protect their rights. The principles that will allow the application of the presumption of paternity in cohabiting families are: Principles of equality, integrity, the best interest of the child and the protection of the family; the caules constitute the legal foundations for the recognition of the presumption of paternity in the de facto union in the scope of the Peruvian legal system; even taking into account the family dynamics and the family status could determine the filiation of the children of cohabitants; and avoid resorting to a filiation process where children and adolescents have to be submitted to a DNA test.

Today's agrarian issue highlights the imminent need for agrarian reform. We have a society that has inherited a concentration of land where we have a historical basis and we also have a question of less investment in family farming where these two processes show us the existence of an exclusionary stance, the need for agrarian reform, because the existence of groups fighting over land is not viable, everyone needs to have the right to work in the countryside with dignity. The issue of education in the countryside is one of the keys to Brazil's progress. We've seen that social movements are democratic drivers aimed at the progress of the population, but today they are often seen in a distorted way, due to fake news and social media. There are even agronomy classes created by these social movements, as the author didactically describes in the book.

In the following pages the reader will find an overview of the current situation of the relationship between students at the basic levels of education (which in this case can include preschool, elementary, middle and high school) and the use of digital technology for educational purposes. It also offers an analysis of what could be done to ensure that students use these tools on a daily basis, given their importance in the first quarter of the 21st century. Although the text refers to the academic reality of Mexico, a country among the twenty largest economies in the world, the problems and probable solutions can be applied to other countries. At the end, a section that I consider to be one of the essential habits for the academic success of any student: reading.

Since ancient times the subject of intoxications has been considered as fortuitous issues, but with experience and the advance of knowledge man has been learning the difference between intoxication and poisoning. But it is thanks to technological progress and the industrial revolution that new chemicals were introduced to increase food production to meet the great world demand, unfortunately, in contrast, the consequences of these actions were also unknown. It is due to these procedures that globally there are several unfortunate examples of mishandling of these substances, with the unfortunate loss of living beings. The food toxicology course plan aims to instill in students not only awareness, but also analysis and interpretation and proposal of solutions to the current problems, through the appropriate use of various learning strategies.

Acinetobacter baumannii has emerged as a significant nosocomial pathogen in hospitalized patients worldwide. A. baumannii, the most frequently isolated species and the most clinically important in the last 20 years, has been implicated in a variety of infections, such as bacteremia, urinary tract infections and meningitis, but its predominant role is as a causative agent of pneumonia, particularly in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) caused by Acinetobacter spp. has a high attributable mortality. Approximately 65% of the studies published on "nosocomial infections caused by Acinetobacter" are located from the year 2000 onwards.(1, 2, 3) The therapeutic difficulties due to the wide resistance of this bacterium to most antibiotics, together with its great capacity to survive for a long time in the hospital environment, increase the opportunities for it to be transmitted between patients, either through the human reservoir or through contaminated inanimate materials.

Thinking about maths often means thinking about calculation, accounts, sums, multiplications, divisions, in short, the reading of the word is "difficulty, reasoning", and this leads to a certain "laziness" in practising the verb "study". We can see the obvious relationship between maths and reasoning, but this reasoning becomes much easier when we, as teachers, try to show our students that maths is part of our daily lives, our actions, not to mention that it has been part of our survival since we were born, when the seconds count down to the first oxycarbon exchange with the lungs and we begin to acquire our rights. It can be seen that what happens to most students, especially sixth graders, is a difficulty in learning maths, which contaminates their entire process of knowledge and maturation over the years of future study, since they will have to deal with other subjects that have maths as their basis, so there is a "cascade" effect in the deficiency of learning, culminating in future gaps that are difficult to repair in teaching.

The shortage of organs for transplantation is a global problem, studies have suggested that the lack of knowledge, attitudes and other determining factors influence the decision to accept donation as a possibility for the clinical improvement of many who are waiting for a transplant. The literature review focused on the pedagogical strategies implemented in the teaching of this topic, show how the lack of knowledge influences decision-making, leading to the understanding and analysis of these results to favor the design, development and implementation of educational programs or intervention projects that increase the number of organ donations and minimize the barriers that exist. This review reveals that the understanding of the processes and the knowledge acquired, independent of their conviction, will lead to the modification of behaviors in donation and transplantation.

This work leads the reader to learn about situations that, by virtue of free expression, give way to creations called "parodies "1 of trademarks, being these facts generators of conflicts between the owner of the trademark and the one who intends to take advantage of this intangible asset without the authorization of its owner. For Dessemontet, parody is "a burlesque representation of an existing work for the purpose of criticism", the best known form being literary satire. This author identifies three characteristic elements of parody: 1. It satirizes the work from which it is inspired. There is an economic effect, but it is not similar to that resulting from plagiarism because there is no direct exploitation of another work that displaces that of the original work; the second creation does not replace the first. 3. It must be a creation with its own originality, even if it must be recognized as the parodied work. The essential of the parody is to appear to the public as an original work, which does not generate confusion between the parodied work and the creation inspired by it, being the border between both works more difficult to determine than it seems (Bugallo Montaño, (2014).
