Notably, basic education institutions in Brazil, like other institutions, have faced constant challenges caused by changes in the organisational environment. In the more specific environment, which is the case of private primary schools, it can be seen that the main characteristics are related to the great competition, the greater priority given to basic education, the quest to improve the quality of teaching, innovation in passing on knowledge and the focus on organisational effectiveness. The main aim of this work is to study strategic knowledge management as an instrument of value in a private basic education institution located in the city of Campina Grande - Paraíba.

Educational reforms, budget reductions and the constantly changing characteristics of students derived from the development of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT's), cause institutions to face the challenge of being efficient with less money and more students; in addition to facing restructuring and providing standardized evaluation indicators. Identifying the characteristics of an Educational System and how to evaluate it quickly and efficiently will be very helpful. The educational field must be open to the possibility of evaluating in a different way the systems and models that compose it, allowing it to keep pace with the pace of change and have a general overview to standardize the characteristics and detail a map of the models involved; this will be of great help in the construction or modification of any system or educational model.

Over the last five decades, the world has seen an explosion of emerging diseases in human populations. Numerous emerging infectious diseases of animal origin have reached humans, including AIDS, Ebola, SARS, avian flu, chikungunya, Zika and COVID 19. The emergence of known parasites and bacterial or fungal pathogens is leading to the emergence of synergistic epidemics on all continents, including Africa.To this end, in Mali, the Ministry of Health has decided to involve the community in the fight against public health threats by using mobile telephony to report such threats, while respecting the method of notifiable disease surveillance as defined by the WHO. Thus, every day, with the support of health agents, CHWs send a coded message to health centers and districts with a view to detecting any public health threats in real time. These messages are then confirmed or invalidated by the health agents through investigation and the collection of samples for forwarding to the lab.

Worldwide, BPM (Business Process Management) is used as a method to diagnose deviations and identify opportunities to improve processes, with the aim of increasing tangible and intangible quality, making operations more profitable, reducing costs/expenses and consequently maximising profitability. This study aims to analyse and discuss the correlation between BPM and the economic and financial performance of a company in the insurance market. This study is based on documentary and theoretical research relating to process management and its correlation with costs and expenses and was developed from a case study of a specific company and its results can be applied to similar companies. Applied in nature and with a combined approach, quantifiable data was used with regard to process time and costs, as well as qualitative data from documentary data collection, of an exploratory-descriptive nature in which the researcher developed familiarity with the environment and phenomenon, allowing for more precise research, clarifying the concepts obtained after documentary and bibliographical research on the subject.

The aim of this work is to contribute to Brazilian historiography on the history of pattern-making through the lens of haute couture, analysing its techniques, from creation to the final product, incorporated into the making of made-to-measure clothes in contemporary Brazil. The aim is to show how modelling, improved from haute couture, was appropriated by Brazilian designers such as Walter Rodrigues, Lino Villaventura and Adhemir Preschadt in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. The time frame chosen is due to the period in which the designers in question were active. Initially, conceptual elements about fashion are presented, considering issues related to its methods of propagation and acceptance, as well as its differentiation as a cultural element. This is followed by a description of modelling techniques and the areas intrinsic to their understanding. In this context, the methods used by fashion designers related to haute couture are explained, establishing a connection between their traditional and contemporary practices.

In a neoliberal, pluralist, representative and electoral democracy, the people are the holders and guardians of political power, which they exercise either indirectly through their elected representatives, or directly by referendum. Educating citizens to vote is therefore essential if we are to build a truly democratic state in which the people establish themselves as the sovereign authority of power. This handbook provides Congolese voters with the basic information and notions relating to electoral practice, enabling them to make a judicious choice of those to whom they wish to entrust the destiny of the State for a well-defined term of office, while keeping a watchful eye on the electoral process.

Twin births are a special case, as they are associated with a number of complications. Factors influencing its occurrence are on the increase, including the use of medically assisted reproduction methods. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of twin births at the Jason SENDWE HGR maternity hospital, to determine the sociodemographic characteristics of parturients, to describe the management of twin births, and to identify the fetal and maternal prognosis of twin births.We conducted a cross-sectional descriptive observational study over the period from January 2011 to December 2020, i.e. 10 years. It consists of 116 deliveries of twins in the maternity ward of HPGR Jason SENDWE during the period from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2021. Data were encoded and analyzed on Epi info 7.22.6.The frequency of twin births at the HPGR Jason SENDWE maternity hospital is 2.29%. Socio-demographic characteristics of parturients: the mean age of twin deliveries was 32 ± 8.13 years, with 25.86% living in the same household.

Energy production is a major challenge for the years to come. Indeed, the energy needs of industrialized societies are constantly increasing. At the same time, developing countries will need more and more energy to drive their development. Today, much of the world's energy is produced from fossil fuels. Consumption of these sources gives rise to greenhouse gas emissions and thus increased pollution. The additional danger is that excessive consumption of natural resources is reducing the reserves of this type of energy in a way that is dangerous for future generations. Photovoltaic solar energy offers a better alternative to this problem, as it is derived from the direct conversion of part of the sun's rays into electrical energy. The aim of the present work is to design a photovoltaic system for domestic use in order to satisfy the customer's energy needs at the lowest possible cost.

In 2015, a new political identity came to power in Argentina, which meant profound political and social transformations. The uniqueness of this year's elections has to do with the access to power of a new right wing that emerged outside the traditional parties (Peronism/radicalism) and ideological cleavages (left/right), without alliance with dictatorial governments and with great popular support. In this framework, it is postulated that the symbolic plane is a constitutive part of all social phenomena and can be understood as a privileged way of access to its study. By means of discourse analysis, and from a socio-semiotic perspective that deals with the symbolic structuring of social phenomena, the Cambiemos coalition is analyzed. In the purpose of understanding this historical novelty, the electoral context of 2015 is presented as a key moment. Thus, our topic is the configuration of the new figures of enunciation that emerge in the current political discursivity, paying attention to the operations through which the figure of María Eugenia Vidal is constructed as the legitimate enunciator of Cambiemos.

The following study analyzes the Parc de la Trinitat, an urban park that is immersed in one of the most important infrastructures of the city of Barcelona, the road junction located in the northeastern part of the city, the Nus de la Trinitat. As the title indicates, the park also becomes the North Entrance to the city, and the reason for this work. Starting from a constructed reality, we analyze the historical situation that led to its construction, beginning with the events that triggered its conception and design: a claim for the inhabitants of the Trinitat neighborhood. This study is intended as a first approach to future research on barriers in urban space.

This book aims to demonstrate the religious life of the Moriscos in Granada, and their daily attitudes, under the campaign of forced conversion led by Cardinal Jimenez de Cisneros and the vigilance of the Spanish authorities, studying the position of the alfaquíes towards this situation. This study contains two chapters: the first chapter, talks generally about the Moors of Granada before and after the arrival of Cardinal de Cisneros, and the second chapter, tries to demonstrate the aspects of the religious life of the Moors of Granada, both in terms of attitudes towards the others, and in terms of the spiritual, finishing by studying, in a critical way, the position of the alfaqis regarding the new situation of the Moors, highlighting two famous Fatwas, which are that of Al-Wansharisi and that of Al-Maghrawi.

This book contains definitions on psychosocial risk factors, occupational stress and relative risk in workers of petroleum derivative service stations of the Energy Gas Company. The general objective was to evaluate the relationship of Psychosocial Risk Factors with Job Stress in a population of 180 workers who perform different jobs in the service stations. The Sociodemographic Survey; the Psychosocial Factors at Work Instrument 2004 (Adapted); and, the Stress Evaluation Questionnaire-Third Version of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota were applied. The main statistical results are attached for a better understanding.

Fishing is an activity that provides quality food to mankind, in addition to being a productive activity that generates economy and progress to many countries in the world. Although currently fishing exploitation has reached levels that have led to the depredation of large resources, collapsing several fisheries in almost all the world's oceans, however, there are still resources, in some cases with abundant biomass. In addition, according to some specialists, other resources are yet to be discovered, especially from the seabed, which are not very accessible with the available fishing infrastructure. The main platform for the extraction of these resources are boats. They exist in different materials, sizes and purposes. Due to the characteristics of the species, specific methods are oftenspecies often require specific methods for their capture. For this reason, vessels have had to be designed for each type of catch, for example, trawling, purse seine fishing, spinning, harpoon fishing, diving, etc.

This paper presents part of the results of a doctoral thesis that investigated the influence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on the cognitive and metacognitive processes involved in the study of the Oscillatory Motion in first year students of Civil Engineering when they studied Physics I. In particular, the Methodology used in the thesis will be described, since, in my humble opinion - and also that of some colleagues -, it constitutes one of the most relevant results to be further developed in the teaching of any Physics content - or of other sciences - where ICT are used as didactic tools in a constructivist - or co-constructivist - learning environment.

Electronic money is a new innovative payment system that uses a mobile device and technological products to carry out the different transactions offered by the system. It was implemented by the Central Bank of Ecuador in 2014 through the creation of the Organic Monetary Code. Its implementation seeks to include people who do not have a bank account, to streamline commercial transactions, and to become a means of storing virtual money and making cash payments.

The gyratory bed is a highly viable piece of equipment due to its efficient fluid-particle contact and high heat and mass transfer rates in industrial operations. An efficient way of studying the operating behaviour of the equipment at lower costs is to use computational tools whose function is to verify and analyse the best performance of this equipment in the face of a requested operation. One of these tools is Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), as it is able to simulate the characteristics of the system with good correlation to the real process. The aim of this work was to verify, by means of CFD simulation, the fluid dynamic behaviour of a conventional gas-solid gusher bed on a bench scale. The simulations showed a profile of the fluid-dynamic flow dynamics inside the bed, which was established by measuring the pressure drop in the bed and the gas velocity for different types of particles. The fluidisation operating regimes of the bed were obtained from the porosity profiles generated and the position of the particles in the bed was obtained from the position-velocity graphs.

Special attention is paid to the methods of hrrugic treatment of deformities of the nose and dentoalveolar system. The authors have developed an algorithm of diagnostics and treatment of patients with deformations of the external nose and dentoalveolar system, its efficiency is shown.The monograph is intended for practical use for doctors - maxillofacial surgeons and otorhinolaryngologists.

It soon became popular, serving women who were looking for an activity that suited their interests, performed with harmonious movements that exalted the gracefulness of the modern woman.

The transfer of personal data involves the transmission of data from one place to another. This data may include identifiable information such as name, address and telephone number. Data is often transferred for commercial or research purposes. In Côte d'Ivoire, such transfers are mainly regulated by Law n°2013-451 of June 19, 2013 on the protection of personal data and requires prior authorization from the protection authority (ARTCI) with the aim of protecting the confidentiality and security of the data of the persons concerned. This study is a contribution to strengthening the protection of personal data under positive Ivorian law. It highlights the shortcomings of the current system and suggests ways of strengthening it. The aim is to prevent information and communication technologies from undermining privacy.

This book shows the scope of research over more than 20 years. The central problem addressed is the articulation between secondary and university levels and the issues of admission, student performance and adaptation to life at university. The multiple aspects of the object of study made it possible to initially focus the analysis on engineering students. Given the complexity of mathematics classroom management, it was necessary to extend the analysis, on the one hand, to potential students of these careers, i.e., those about to graduate from secondary school, and, on the other hand, to the mathematics and ICT training of secondary school teachers.

Fractures of the upper end of the femur are a frequent worldwide concern in elderly patients, who are often multi-tarred. In the absence of contraindications, spinal anaesthesia is often the anaesthetic technique of choice, most often in the sitting position, which is a source of intense pain for the patient and may decompensate for an underlying defect. Femoral block and fascia iliaca block are the most commonly used locoregional analgesia techniques, prior to positioning for spinal anesthesia. PENG block is a new analgesic technique described by Giron-Argano in 2018.The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided PENG block versus ultrasound-guided suprainguinal iliaca fascia block for analgesia during positioning for spinal anesthesia.

Singing has benefits for mental health and emotional well-being and, from the beginning to the end of the music course, it broadens the students' sound universe. The literature review highlights the importance of singing in general and, specifically, singing in music education classes.Acquiring a musical education means, among many other attributes, learning how to listen and how to sing. To do this, we use the voice, which is the instrument that is born with every human being.There is a consensus among teachers who teach Music Education in Portugal that singing, as well as being part of the curriculum, is relevant to the formation of the individual as a whole. Music education should provide students with a broad musical knowledge base, leading to an intelligent listening comprehension of music and the acquisition of musical literacy.

In this second part of the study, which comprises two titles and two chapters in each title, the aim is to deepen research into logistics and governance, by adding other indices that contribute to Morocco's desired development model towards sub-Saharan Africa. The aim is to analyze the evolution of the structure of trade between Morocco and ECOWAS countries, its strengths and weaknesses, and what needs to be done to develop them.As far as the development model is concerned, we have looked at it theoretically in terms of the vision, the paradigm and the development path, but also in terms of the speeches made by His Majesty King Mohamed VI.On a practical level, we cited some of Morocco's achievements in transport and logistics to Sub-Saharan Africa, while pointing out the obstacles that limit the development of trade between Morocco and the ECOWAS countries. Finally, we concluded the study with a diagnosis of relations between Morocco and Sub-Saharan Africa, based on a SWOT analysis.

The aim of this paper is to show the role that the State acquired in the development of social policies that are essential components in the construction of the youth problem. What were the tools that were developed to improve the insertion of young people in the labor market from the State, as well as to analyze the emergence of the youth labor problem in contemporary Argentina. Here we describe those social policies that were developed before and during Kirchnerism. As will be seen throughout the paper, there is a kind of hinge where the phenomenon of general unemployment begins to be separated, where although there were social policies, they were not focused on any particular sector, and after 2003 we can ask ourselves why the State begins to see youth unemployment and act accordingly. Because it will be from then on, where specific social policies will start to be developed to lower youth unemployment rates. How is youth policy managed? In order to answer this question, we will say that several programs have been developed, but we will highlight the Progresar Program.

"Gerontogeriatric Essays" adds new insights into the problems of aging of people individually and in the society in which they live. Older adults are in themselves a biopsychosocial, cultural, economic and political complex. The demographic explosion of the elderly is an irreversible and growing phenomenon, and it goes without saying that the duty of states and societies to provide all the means and instruments to support, care for, cure, rehabilitate and respect them, regardless of their ethnic, religious, socio-cultural and socio-economic condition or identity, is unrenounceable. The ultimate meaning of these essays is to show, once again, real aspects of the multidimensional world of old age in order to understand it and to commit, support and sustain their welfare in the last stage of life.

In this book, we focus on the temporal and aspectual values of the present narrative tense and its equivalent in Arabic. We have considered the question of the equivalence of this tense in the context of its image in Arabic. The guiding ideas were dictated by the major role of translation in understanding the constructions that govern the aspectual values of verbs. We describe the temporal paradigms: present narrative in French, accomplished and inaccompli in Arabic. A number of translation procedures have been taken into account to emphasize the importance, in translation, of the translator's referential experience and of a conception of time deemed to be correct. The presentation of theoretical concepts concerning the translation of temporal and aspectual phenomena enables us to understand the use of the translation of the present tense in narration, which is necessary to understand the use of Arabic time. The source and target texts clearly present different visions of enunciation, but choosing one of them does not present an obstacle to the reception of the translated text.

The activities related to the development of human motor skills that are applied through the Physical Education class at the Vasco de Quiroga Kindergarten in the Municipality of San Francisco Altepexi, Puebla have allowed the application of processes related to the stimulation of physical conditional and coordinative capacities, derived from this, the author implemented a diagnostic study at the beginning of the school cycle, The results obtained allowed the identification of the main deficiencies such as space-time location, laterality and dynamic balance in the students, giving way to the design and application of a didactic strategy based on a set of acrobatic elements of artistic gymnastics oriented to the improvement of dynamic balance in children in the third year of preschool.
