By means of the mythological scheme of redemption, this work proposes three instances within the construction of the idea of Nature in industrialized societies: Prodigal, Catastrophic and Apocalyptic. Thus, it makes a critique of artistic interventions of natural spaces focusing on Robert Smithson and Herman de Vries.

The institutional relationship between the Guardianship Council (TC) and the Child and Adolescent Budget (OCA) and its impact on socio-educational policy for adolescents in conflict with the law. This study is interested in presenting the constituent elements of the public budget so that tutelary councillors can better understand and handle their mission of advising the municipal executive in drawing up the budget proposal for plans and programmes for children and adolescents. And, in the focus of this dissertation, on the resources of the public budget in the development of socio-educational policy, comprising the execution of socio-educational programmes, categorised as restriction of liberty, such as Community Service Provision (PSC) and Assisted Liberty, which are the responsibility of the municipal executive branch. Brazilian legislation, the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA), reflects the rights of the child-adolescent segment as citizens and, for this very reason, holders of special rights due to their peculiar condition as developing people, thus implying their recognition as an absolute priority in the public budget.

Ideology, Military Forces and Society (Colombia 1994 - 1997) Reflects the actions of the military in Colombia and its relationship with society, as a result of the adoption of an ideology that is not its own and that has a great influence on the human rights of the citizens of this country. Therefore, it is of interest to those who study issues related to the State, society and the actions of the public force in a period of time of changes in all aspects.

In view of the labour reality that is besetting us with the passing of time and the professionalism required to fill certain positions in the Argentine State, the need has arisen to find a judicial solution for its workers, in order to safeguard their labour rights. We will analyse possible solutions for those who find themselves in this situation, as a consequence of the application of different labour regimes to those that apply to the permanent staff of each agency. As well as the committed activity of our magistrates.

Most of the environmental impacts resulting from the production technologies used on farms are shared by the different ecoregions of Argentina and Latin America, such as emissions of sediments due to erosion, organic matter from effluents, or agrochemicals that are discharged into the large basins that share navigation channels, dams, ports, and water intakes for drinking water treatment. The advance of the agricultural frontier into marginal areas of the different ecoregions generates changes in the ecosystems that are still being evaluated by different organizations. Information on the environmental impact of the intensification of agriculture and livestock farming is currently scarce and incipient. Another relevant aspect is that the systems for valuing environmentally sound production through the application of environmental certification protocols (e.g. ISO 14000 standards) show that although global awareness of environmental protection is growing, it remains to be seen whether the implementation of these methodologies will integrate all countries in an equitable manner at the production and commercial level.

This book is a compilation of basic techniques for qualitative soil analyses in the field and laboratory. A field experiment was also carried out to compile the use of some of the methods shown in the body of the book, and how they could have been improved through other more refined soil analyses. Exploring Soil is a book by ecologists Natália Coelho Ferreira and Juliano Barbirato, who see soil science as a key factor in identifying environmental impacts and restoring the environment. Through this work, we hope to gain a greater understanding of soil and its methodology, as well as making a contribution to improving methods of analysis. Methods of analysis focused not only on soil, but on the landscape as a whole.

During his lifetime, Octave Mirbeau (1849-1917) was renowned for his talents as a committed and feared journalist, a novelist of remarkable ability, an acerbic pamphleteer, a playwright whose plays are still performed, and a much sought-after art critic. The aim of this study is to show how the notion of delirium is central to the author's novels. We frame our research within the framework of passion stylistics. Thus, our study is an attempt to show concretely that delirium has its own rhetoric, that violent passion influences our style, and that writing delirium is a symptom of the unbalanced and troubled mind.

With population growth, the large housing deficit and the small per capita income of the majority of the population, the construction industry is looking for means and methods to reduce the cost of housing. In this sense, the construction sector is known for not having kept up with the evolution of other industrial sectors, since traditional construction techniques and materials predominate in the face of this new premise. Marxism is a defense of philosophy, of rational thought that is neither self-limiting nor yields to positivist self-enclosure. All science is founded on rational propositions that cannot be decided empirically. Without theoretical imagination, without rational speculation, there is no scientific knowledge. Theory is a general reflective elaboration of human actions or practices, also of scientific practices. The philosophical craft allows us to pose new problems, to deal with themes that have emerged from the sciences but which the latter are not yet in a position to examine with their instruments, to approach the critical-rational generalization of the results of particular disciplines, to develop heuristic criteria and is the source of interesting rational hypotheses, which are the dynamizing factor of the unfolding of knowledge, subject then to possible factual control. The task of philosophy, as onto-epistemology, is to contribute to create intellectual conditions for the development of the sciences; to formulate the general sense of research, at its different levels.

This monograph is devoted to one of the actual directions in modern silicate production - autoclave technologies of creation and processing of silicate materials. One of the effective ways to solve this issue is the development of autoclave binders technology, which allows to produce products based on lime-silica binders in a few hours without the use of burdensome firing process. The revealed regularities "composition-structure-property" at autoclaving of lime-silica binders containing the specified additives makes a certain contribution to the development of the science of chemistry and technology of binders of autoclaved curing.Development of ways to improve the construction and technical properties of silicate bricks on the basis of barchan sands, dictates the need to improve the composition of silicate masses and the technology of obtaining lime-silica products in order to increase the operational reliability and durability of the building

Since its foundation in 1889, the National University of Asunción has been considered a bastion of university education in Paraguay, and the Instituto Superior de Arte, founded in 1996 by the artist and educator Olga Blinder, is part of it. In 2015, the outbreak of the protest called #UnaNoTeCalles generated a tension that has had repercussions to this day, of which the critical demonstrations were part. In these actions, political and social positions are intermingled, of which the Institute - due to an absence of will or mere indifference - did not concern itself, and of which a small number of students and teachers have protested, bannering a cause that they believed to be just: reform and innovation within the Institute.

This work is devoted to value-at-risk estimation using the copula method. The first part explores extreme value theory. We describe risk modeling and asset volatility. The second part presents a GJR-GARCH version of copulas to analyze asymmetric dependence, measuring complex non-linear relationships among stock index returns. We present a VAR measurement method based on extreme value theory and copula theory. The results show that copula-based methods are better at modeling dependence structure and yield better risk estimates.

RD. Congo, aims to bring health facilities to a level where declared data equals verified data and verified data equals validated data; it's true that this project is about to close its doors in the Haut-Lomami province, so we were motivated to focus our study on "Gap analysis between verified and validated data in the 12 Cas health zones of the Division Provinciale de la Santé du Haut-Lomami". The objective was to determine the discrepancies between verified and validated PMA and PCA data over the last 12 months in the health zones of the Haut-Lomami Provincial Health Division, to determine the average of the discrepancies for the whole Haut-Lomami Provincial Division and to calculate the Per Capita of each health zone according to their subsidy consumption for Q1, Q2 and Q2 2022. After analysis, we obtained the following results: High and very high risks were observed, and a low-risk Per Capita of less than $0.5 per structure. All in all, we can say that in our study environment, the PDSS project has not brought about any great change.

The present review comprises an approach to the neuropsychological indicators involved in the learning process of schoolchildren. A brief description of this applied field "child neuropsychology" is made, describing from a theoretical approach the neuroanatomical functioning involved in these processes: language, visoperception, executive functions, memory, rhythm and laterality. The understanding of these variables is of interest for professionals in the area of Educational Psychology, since it favors the methodological adjustment during the evaluation and intervention of school-age children.

How can we get our students to pay attention to the proposals in class, what strategies should we use, and do we propose novel activities that strengthen and integrate new neural circuits? In order to answer these questions, Monica and Flavia offer practical ideas on how to apply neuroscience to learning, based on their experience in different areas at the primary level. They provide a theoretical framework to understand the scope of new discoveries in neuroscience and reflect on the principles of neurodidactics and its influence on the teaching-learning process, linking the new proposals with other teaching strategies used in the classroom. In this book they propose a teaching-learning process with emphasis on capturing students' attention, cooperative and project work, and emotional education, taking into account multiple intelligences and integrating, in all areas, arts, technology and physical education.

This text is an academic project born from the felt need to address the systemic approach to social reality, as a framework of shared meanings, by subjects who build their daily lives within a group, in which they reflect their existence through various factors: geographical, educational, economic, political, cultural and ecological. In these scenarios, tradition and culture as a whole, open a wide range of discussions and problems that generate guidelines to participate as educational interveners in the integral and equitable socio-development of a society. In my educational practice, as an academic advisor at the National Pedagogical University of the State of Chihuahua, I have accompanied several generations of young people in their professional practices, which has led me to propose an eclectic theoretical-methodological support, based on previously designed strategies and based on the action of the particular conditions of application, resources, times and expected results. This is the product of the research and educational intervention of my consultancy in professional practices.

Mathematics, by its very nature, is a science based on metacognitive skills. Nowadays, pure meaningless knowledge is described as easy to attain but useless unless you know how to use it. Since being able to make knowledge relevant, use it and find solutions to problems is valuable today, problem solving and problem posing are paramount skills. This book entitled "Solving and Posing Mathematical Problems - Problem Solving Strategies and Mathematical Problem Posing Competence" aims to present qualitative research work. It was carried out with eight students in their first year of high school, on the factors affecting their mathematical problem-solving and problem-posing skills. The results of this study have important implications for the teaching of problem solving and problem posing in mathematics, and can help teachers to better support their students in developing their skills in this area.

Côte d'Ivoire experienced a violent post-electoral crisis in 2010, with over 3,000 deaths. In the wake of these atrocities, the new authorities decided to commit the country to a transitional justice process in an attempt to address the situation. Transitional justice is a set of jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional mechanisms aimed at reconciling a deeply divided people through the restoration of victims' inalienable rights. However, the central place of victims is not always effective in practice. We claim to act for and in their favor, without really involving them. Victims are almost given roles to play, in return for compensation which, in most cases, they find unsatisfactory. Thus, transitional justice, while providing important elements of alternative conflict resolution, must nonetheless give rise to a certain number of reservations and criticisms. This thesis attempts to identify a minimum standard to be taken into account for the satisfaction of victims' rights in any transitional justice process.

This book is a complementary study of a building gantry. Instead of using the CROSS method or the finite element method, we have proposed in this book a study model of a 2D portal frame using the ROBOT-BAT version 2012 software. The ULS and ELS stresses of an example building plan are calculated, as well as the reinforcement of the most stressed span. In the first chapter of the work, we were able to study the architectural plans of a building in accordance with the standard. The second chapter enabled us to determine the design assumptions and studies for a transverse gantry of the building. We also calculated the various superstructure elements such as columns and beams.

This book covers the fundamental concepts of solar radiation and its path from sun to Earth, including topics such as terrestrial coordinates, solar motion and the different components of solar radiation, among others. Solar irradiance depends on a number of factors, including sunshine, temperature, geographical location, time of day and the nature of the clouds present. A great deal of research effort has gone into estimating solar irradiance at ground level, which is essential for sizing solar installations, forecasting solar radiation and assessing solar potential. It is also crucial to consider shading as a challenge when installing solar thermal systems for heating or photovoltaic systems for electricity generation, which requires accurate measurements of various irradiation parameters using appropriate instruments and equipment.

The work deals with the "Geotectonic evolution of the Rapale formations". The geological and tectonic evolution of Rapale is the result of the influence of various East Pan African Rift events, Grevilian Orogenies, being outcropped by Rapale Gneiss. Rapale is filled with fragile regime structures such as faults, diaclases, veins, fractures, ductile regime structures such as Boudins, some lineations; high grain metamorphic structures such as migmatites (neosomes and palaeosomes), Grabens-type fault systems. These formations have a spatial orientation of between 179N and 250N (Nairuco, T'tchotcho and Nanahe formations), while in the case of Muhitho they extend up to 360N. These latter formations have undergone East African Rift events, and events that have yet to be identified are responsible for modelling the relief and spatial orientation of the formations.

Ultrasound elastography was introduced as a new imaging method complementary to ultrasound to overcome the latter's limitations, such as the high number of unnecessary biopsies. The addition of elastography to conventional ultrasound significantly reduces the need for biopsies.This book begins with the introduction, the principle of static elastography, followed by the technique of performing an elastographic examination, and ends with 25 cases of benign breast pathology, richly illustrated with best images and demonstrative diagrams for each pathology.It is hoped that all radiologists involved in breast imaging will find this book easily accessible, clear and didactic, and that they will regard it as a reference in the elastography of benign breast pathologies.

There is currently a demand for the implementation of management systems in practically all organisational environments, whether private or public, in the government, commercial or civil society sectors in general. This reality is more latent today due to the intense need that managers have in the decision-making process, which needs to be increasingly assertive, both at a strategic, tactical and operational level. This demand needs to be assessed as a project of great magnitude, as it involves many resources, including human, financial, material and technological. That said, managers need to adopt a holistic approach in order to maximise the investment made in this type of project. This paper therefore highlights the importance of process mapping for the implementation of an integrated management system, with the main objective of explaining that existing activities need to be assessed and that others will emerge as necessary for the use of an ERP system, thus seeking to mitigate possible problems and demonstrate the importance of this in the management of the organisation.

Analysing the influence of Corporate Governance on supplementary healthcare is more than just evaluating the prices of healthcare plans, it is an in-depth study of how institutions in Brazil deal with Corporate Governance and its direct and indirect impact on healthcare plans. Documents published by the National Health Agency (ANS) and management reports and financial statements published on the internet were analysed and used as a source of data. This research is based on the period from 2000 to 2018, with a sample of three years prior to 2007 and the current three years, consisting of laws, instructions and normative resolutions, the last two of which were issued by the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS). The categorisation of the content analysed was based on the principles of Corporate Governance, which are: "transparency", "fairness", "accountability" and "corporate responsibility", linked to regulation. The units of analysis were constituted according to the description of the principles of the business modalities within private healthcare that commercialise health plans in Brazil.

The use of computer techniques and tools is of the utmost importance to help analyse data, such as Data Mining. Data mining is the process of exploring large amounts of data in order to find anomalies, patterns and correlations to support decision-making and provide strategic advantages. With this in mind, the aim of this study was to analyse data on natural disasters and run Data Mining algorithms to generate some kind of implicit knowledge in the data.

The monograph explores space astronomy as a new scientific direction. Space astronomy complements classical astronomy and is its development. Space astronomy can be considered as the astronomy of points of observation of which observations are transferred from the Earth's surface and near-Earth space to space on space carriers. Space astronomy differs from classical astronomy not only by the transfer of observation points into outer space, but also by its methodological and organizational basis. Space astronomy, in addition to the basics of astronomy uses as components new sciences: space geodesy, space geoinformatics, geodesic astronomy, spatial analysis, spatial logic, systems analysis, informatics. The application of spatial logic is one of the features of space astronomy. The main means of observation in space astronomy is space monitoring. The application of the information field model is an important distinction of space astronomy/.

Contactology is a specialty within Optometry. In order to properly fit a contact lens, refractive problems must be evaluated, as well as different parameters and the physiology and anatomy of the eye. Contact lens fitting should seek to obtain the maximum tolerance of the lens and the maximum possible visual acuity while minimizing possible complications for the patient. Within the optometry consultation, and in this case contact lenses, we can find a variety of cases, some of them more complex and requiring special adaptations and knowledge in this field. Here are some clinical cases.
