FE-SANA comes to give an option for the approach of education in health, food, nutrition, environment, human rights, among others in populations that due to their economic, educational, cultural, social, affective and access to basic services, including education as a human right, are at a disadvantage compared to the rest of the population. In addition, they have always seen educational processes as alien to them, making it increasingly difficult to reach this population with the necessary education to achieve the change of habits, beliefs, customs, which are generally those that perpetuate the poor and negative conditions that do not allow breaking the vicious circle of poverty, to transform it into a virtuous circle of human development, by consciously assuming their responsibility to take care of themselves, their family and their community. This strategy allows the incursion into such vital and current issues such as healthy lifestyles, care for nature, the integral development of children, protection and respect for human beings regardless of their condition, respect for life.

Over time, Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) have brought about significant changes in people's daily lives, as we are now experiencing a digital culture. Therefore, education, in the constructivist sense of knowledge, needs to keep pace with the progress of society and individuals, so educational IT is now widespread and reflected upon. This book presents a bibliographical study and research characterised as a survey, carried out with three mathematics degree courses with the aim of investigating how teacher training is taking place, from the point of view of cy(i)berformation and whether the courses have provided for pedagogical practices with ICT in their curricula, thus providing future graduates with technical skills for educational computing.

This study is a pioneering piece of scientific research in the fields of logistics and governance between Morocco and West Sub-Saharan Africa. It consists of an introduction, a well-developed research methodology, a first part, two titles and each title comprises three chapters, with conclusions and bibliography.The first title and its chapters deal with and analyze the development of logistics and transport between Morocco and West Sub-Saharan Africa from the 11th century to the present day, showing its strengths and weaknesses and their impact on the development of relations between Moroccan and African dynasties.The second title and its chapters deal with the issues of logistics and governance in Morocco and the ECOWAS countries during the first twenty years of the third millennium, based on specific indices. Comparisons have shown that the levels of development of these indices differ from country to country, with Morocco taking first place.

Women in Colombia will never be victims, we are and will always be survivors of the thousands of violations of our rights as human beings. Progress has been made in this area in Colombia, but there is still a lack of citizen culture for them. It is intended to analyze the progress, difficulties and challenges that our country has in terms of gender equity, taking into account the treaties ratified by the Colombian State in terms of women's human rights, its internal regulations and institutional policies. It will also highlight the facts and the main laws that our country has had in relation to women.

A contribution from realities and experiences of learning processes, in what and how it is developed in the communities of Chimaltenango, and its results, which respond to the needs of the communities; how this learning process contributes to improve the quality of life of the communities. The work shares the experience of the Kaqchikel Mayan University, what and how it works to retake, promote, cultivate, safeguard and systematize the science, art, language, values and approaches of the Kaqchikel Mayan philosophy; to promote the fullness of the human being, his personal fulfillment and his community, and contribute to the universal culture, based on listening and relating to mother earth, as the great and main pedagogue, through the use of the diverse languages used by the peoples historically. The methodological process is shared, how it develops and promotes the Mayan cosmic-scientific principles: holistic, systemic, circular, pyramidal, balance, and from the approaches of the chumilal competencies (the life vocation of the person), ancestral values, education for life, the development of skills and abilities.

In Villavicencio, a high proportion of deaf people are of legal age to enter the workforce. However, according to the most recent data collected, only 6% of this demographic group is currently employed. Of these, 0.1% work in the livestock sector, 2% in agriculture, 1.9% provide services, 1.5% work in commercial activities, and 0.5% are involved in industrial activities. In contrast, the remaining 94% are inactive at work, a multifaceted phenomenon that will be addressed in this study.The research project is based on a field study approach and adopts a descriptive methodology. Its objective is to expose the labor issues faced by the deaf community, analyzing the causes of their perceived lack of inclusion in the workplace. It proposes to mitigate these barriers through strategies that reinforce their learning, professional training and written competence in Spanish as a second language. The purpose is to equip this community with the necessary skills to access jobs, thus raising their quality of life.

As an unconditional lover of culture, there is a strong desire for it to receive the attention and investment it deserves to make it accessible and democratic. Involvement during my childhood and youth in cultural movements, at school and church and in other spaces in the city allowed me to visualise the meagre investments directed towards culture, mainly for amateur projects by social groups, but with far-reaching potential. Graduating with a degree in Literature and a post-graduate qualification in Portuguese Language: a textual approach, as well as a master's degree in educational sciences and Portuguese language, allowed me to become more sensitive to culture through literature. From then on, I was able to write plays, chronicles, poetry and get involved with folklore issues in the municipality, which led me to take up a technical position in the Itaituba Culture Department. The relationships established at the Secretariat allowed me to get to know more about the socio-historical issues of this city and was my great motivation for re-signifying history through the oral narratives told by the older members of society.

The new work of the researcher Yorjendris Duarte, "LOS JAPRERIA, UNA APROXIMACIÓN A SU CONTEXTO SOCIOCULTURAL ACTUAL" shows us a piece of the day to day, besides the changes that this ethnic group has suffered through the years. On the other hand, the diverse scenarios that are posed in front of this reality, of how the economic situation in the country has affected wide social spheres, one of them health. This work offers a reflection on healing practices from the point of view of traditional medicine versus the biomedical space and how this relationship has been in the Venezuelan health system.

The aim of this study is to organise the administrative activities of a company in the insurance broker sector, adapting them to the language of processes. This company operates in the area of service provision, its main activity being the sale of insurance. The aim is to identify how the company's current processes are organised and how they are used to carry out tasks, as well as to suggest incremental improvements to them. To carry out the study, the following activities were carried out: a bibliographical survey of the main areas of management and a diagnosis of the external area so that a survey of threats and opportunities could be carried out. An internal diagnosis was also carried out in order to identify both strengths and areas for improvement. Through observational analysis, flowcharts of the company's key processes were drawn up to suggest improvements.

Humanity is groping its way through the process of proposing viable development strategies for every society and every human being. From one development project to another, we are now at the stage of sustainable development, which aims not only to meet the needs of present generations, but also to avoid compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. But this project, which claims to be a solution to maldevelopment, reinforces the current neoliberal economic paradigm. This economic paradigm, it seems to us, is generating growing inequalities that are signs of a new maldevelopment for humanity in general, and for Africa in particular - a continent that has been in search of development for decades. In an analytical-critical posture, this paper aims first to show how sustainable development in the neoliberal context does not modify the maldevelopment that justified its emergence; then to demonstrate that sustainable development, by reinforcing the current global economic paradigm, does not bring new development opportunities for Africa; and finally, to formulate some perspectives.

The research called "Application of NTS N° 096-MINSA/DIGESA V.01. Technical health standard for management and handling of solid waste in health establishments, in the EsSalud Assistance Network - Hospital II Tarapoto and in the Amazon Hospital of Yarinacocha, in the years 2013 - 2014" was born from the concern to study the problem of management and handling of hospital waste, for this the objective is to evaluate and compare the level of application of NTS N° 096-MINSA/DIGESA V.01.. in the aforementioned health facilities during the period of 2 consecutive years (2013 and 2014); to achieve this, a descriptive comparative design was used, obtaining as the main result that the % of non-compliance with NTS N° 096-MINSA/DIGESA V.01 in the ESSALUD Assistance Network - Hospital II Tarapoto is 76.265% and in the Hospital Amazónico de Yarinacocha it is 77.275%; therefore, from the execution of the research it is concluded that in both health facilities there was an inadequate management and handling of hospital solid waste.

This study focused on the current state of the decentralization project within ETDs in the Congolese context. It therefore aimed to understand the decentralization context from an urban local development perspective. To this end, the research question, which served as a guideline for the present study, was as follows: How can decentralization be a strategic component of urban territorial development? To this end, based on the themes selected and the problem situations identified, this research followed the tradition of qualitative research, i.e. case studies, which enabled us to arrive at the following results: The gap between the texts of decentralization and their practice on urban territory, institutional mechanisms incapable of formulating responses to the demands of the governed, the conflicting physical and legal environment between ETD managers and the non-existence of a common vision between managers and the governed, but also, the difficulties linked to the operation of the retrocession system.

In the 5th century B.C., Hippocrates used the word "podagra" to designate the disease or its carrier. The term was descriptive. In Greek, it means "caught by the foot", evoking the trap in which the animal is captured (agra meaning hunt or catch). It was in the 9th century that the term gout was introduced into popular parlance. Rheuma (rheumatism or discharge) is compared to a noxious mood distilled "drop by drop" in the joints and organs. Its meaning narrowed in the 15th century, with the word gout corresponding to the condition known as podagre. In the Renaissance, Ambroise Paré used the term "gout" instead of podagre. There are many historical descriptions, but one of the most seminal is the 1683 treatise on podagre by Thomas Sydenham, the English Hippocrates. Gout has also been dubbed "the disease of kings". From Charlemagne to Louis XIV, it has struck down some of history's greatest names. In the 19th century, it was considered responsible for all ills. Gout is far from being a thing of the past, especially in Africa.

Biopolitical coercion is at the heart of societal governance. The war of all against all is an ideology broadcast into the unconscious through the information tool expressed in the form of government, the modern post-neoliberal economic model and the institutional system of governance. Indifference, individualism, and paralysis of social participation are the results of apathy generated by the communication tool. The very loss of self-education as a social right.

Ethnography of the school culture of gender, a study in internal centres in Santiago de Cuba, is the result of an investigation in which a metatheoretical and transdisciplinary exercise is carried out between Pedagogical and Educational Sciences to form a proposal that allows a deep understanding of the pedagogical thought that focuses on beliefs, symbols, customs and representations of teachers and students in the school context. In this framework of interaction, the cultural forms, meanings and senses with which the ideal of being human associated with gender representations is transmitted and acquired are connoted. The description not only focuses on the activities in which a clear difference in relation to gender is perceived, but also extends to those in which these differences are not noticeable but underlying. This book promotes a pedagogical reflection useful to generate changes in the cultural matrix from which teachers and managers make pedagogical decisions based on gender representations in the development of the training process in boarding schools in a specific cultural context.

Service clubs fulfil, in many ways, responsibilities that by law would be the responsibility of the government. Within a dogmatic system with stronger social ties, such as the one found in these clubs, there is a fundamental feeling: TRUST. This study investigates the relationship between organisational components (people, strategies, processes, policies/patterns of behaviour and values/culture) and the development of trust in these third sector organisations. The research had a qualitative approach, consisting of a case study as the method of investigation, taking as units of analysis three service clubs, representing the Lions Club, the Rotary Club and the Masonic Lodges. In this context, the research analyses trust, seeking to verify its development and its importance in the relationships between the participants of each club. Despite some similarities, each of the clubs has different conceptions of what trust is and how it develops. It is during the reading of the text that the reader will discover how this trust is built and its influence on the members of each organisation.

Risk management is a hot topic for those who manage software development projects. There is a lot of talk about how to manage risks correctly. Academic literature endeavours to understand the reasons for project failures. Widely accepted frameworks and renowned professional associations draw up guides and methodologies that managers swear they will follow to the letter. How much do these guides and frameworks really contribute to project success? What are the risks that academic literature points out? And what is the contribution of administrative science to software project management? This book compiles approaches to risk management in information systems projects. Academic literature and market approaches are reviewed and grouped in their similarities and differences, providing a broad understanding of the topic. Case studies illustrate what managers actually apply, in terms of the body of knowledge, to their projects. Finally, a critical analysis invites reflection on the role of so many methodologies and of Management itself in this activity, which is so important for the IT area.

Cost tools help companies manage and market their products or services, contributing to greater competitiveness and internal control in the generation of data and control of companies' production costs. This study focuses on analyzing the use of cost tools in footwear companies in Nova Serrana/MG and their pricing structure. To answer the proposed research problem and achieve the objective, four representatives of companies in the footwear industry were interviewed using a structured script, in order to gather data on the use of cost tools and pricing methods. The results show that the companies are looking for training and improvements in their workforce, but they still have difficulties in using cost tools in practice. The companies interviewed showed that their day-to-day use of cost tools is limited to the most basic and familiar, and they don't use more complex and structured methods, nor do they have more sophisticated pricing methods.

Using a clinical case study, the following work allows us to visualise the psychological patterns that tend to occur in child victims of sexual abuse as a result of their transit through the justice system. The phenomenon of re-victimisation places the victim in a complex position, enabling maladaptive patterns that have short or long-term repercussions in different areas of their life and in the constitution of their personality. The book is a compilation of information and contributions from various authors on the subject at different times, making it possible to create a practical guide aimed at reducing iatrogenic interventions in the legal-forensic context.

This book is divided into two parts. In the first, there is a theoretical overview of gestational anaemia, covering everything from the physiological factors involved in the genesis of the disease, to the social context of it being a serious public health problem and elucidating the diagnostic aspects associated with it. The second part presents the results of a cross-sectional study on the prevalence of anaemia in pregnant women attending their first antenatal appointment at a reference hospital for maternal and child health, established as a child-friendly institution. This is a technical book aimed primarily at health professionals.

To talk about Bioethics is to talk about life. There are several definitions of bioethics, all of them accurate, such as that of the National Bioethics Commission, "It is the branch of applied ethics that reflects, deliberates and makes regulatory and public policy approaches to regulate and resolve conflicts in social life, especially in the life sciences, as well as in medical practice and research that affect life on the planet, both now and in future generations".The Pan American Health Organization points out that bioethics should not be invoked after ethical principles have been broken and we are faced with an ethically questionable situation that must be resolved. Bioethics should be incorporated into the regular work of health professionals and policy makers so that public health policies are based on bioethical principles. If I were to define bioethics, I would say doing good for the sake of doing good. The basic principles of bioethics, autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, justice and others such as solidarity, empathy, values such as respect and honesty.

Pointed out as the most valuable natural resource of the 21st century, water is becoming scarce due to irrational use and increasing populations, making it a strategic resource for human development and quality of life. Legal professionals have always seen the issue of fresh water as something restricted to neighbourhood conflicts or the use of hydroelectric potential, but in the last three decades of the 20th century, concern about environmental problems grew in Brazil, and some rules were implemented and new policies adopted, with the aim of not only punishing those who cause environmental damage, but also preventing it. The principle of human dignity is one of the foundations of the 1988 Magna Carta, which, following a global trend, began to consider water as a public good for the common use of the people, ensuring that every human being has the right to consume or use water for their individual needs, also regulated in Law 9.433/97. Therefore, in order to realise this right on a local scale, the role of municipalities in developing environmental policy is fundamental, as we will detail below.

The discovery of the theme of Nativity scenes, which began in 1998, in the village of Igatu, Chapada Diamantina - Bahia, led me to photograph them after a few trips to that mountainous site. Once the films had been developed, the subject motivated me to investigate more precisely why these people made such bold nativity scenes, rich in sacred and profane objects. The investigation took place between 2000 and 2004, during which time I obtained precious aesthetic information, spontaneous orality and theoretical and scientific knowledge about the rich subject. So, in this publication, I bring the photographic and theoretical research written, hoping to find in the readers who will get to know this rich universe of fantasy between the sacred and the profane, a dialog for exchanges, exchanges of knowledge and appreciation of popular culture which, in times of great technological advance, tends to be lost, to leave behind the creative imagination inherited by many generations, either through its oral history or through its day-to-day practice. So I think it's important that we seek to preserve our cultural memory, our origins and the origins of all peoples.

The fantastic society is a concept that encapsulates the meaning of the strange events that take place in the stories of Bestiario, by the famous Argentine writer Julio Cortázar. The society immanent in each story is governed by a social and natural order that surpasses the will of the characters and leads them to experience implausible situations.Karma is the force in charge of reestablishing the order altered by the actions of the characters, which bursts into their lives in a determinant way, in the form of parasychological phenomena when the natural order has been violated; likewise the punishment or sanction becomes effective and evident, by the social circle of the characters at the moment of the commission of a fault, which opposes the severe code of conduct that governs in that society.

As Morocco seeks to establish itself on the world market as a competitive economy, it is a real breeding ground for SMEs. These companies make a positive contribution to economic prosperity through the creation of wealth, jobs and improved living standards.What's more, SMEs are engines of growth, job creation, economic and social development and poverty reduction.Moreover, the contribution of SMEs to innovation has increased in recent years: as innovation becomes more plural due to the changes it exerts on the economy (technological, social and institutional...), access to it becomes easier and more accessible to SMEs thanks to the digital transition, the social logic of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. Encouraging and stimulating innovation in SMEs over the long term therefore has a dual purpose: to help improve productivity within these structures and reduce the pay gap between SMEs and large companies; and to help establish the determinants of inclusive growth.

Approximately 229,000 tons of waste are produced every day in Brazil, especially organic waste from food and nutrition units (FNU), due to lack of knowledge and habits of using food in its entirety. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of a nutritional intervention on the integral use of food on the reduction of organic waste in a hospital FNU. This study was carried out in a hospital in the municipality of Araucária, PR, and was divided into three stages. In the first stage, the organic waste was weighed, the quantity of fruit and vegetables purchased was checked, the cost of the purchase was verified and the knowledge of the handlers was assessed. In the second stage, training was given to food handlers on how to make full use of food. In the third stage, the weight of the organic waste, the knowledge of the handlers, the cost and the quantity of fruit and vegetables purchased were evaluated.
