Security intelligence is a results-driven approach to reducing risk that combines internal and external information about threats, security and business insights for the entire enterprise. The term ¿threat intelligence¿ is generally associated with information about threats to traditional IT systems controlled by the organization itself. This conception of the field is far too narrow. Innovative threat actors are constantly seeking to uncover weaknesses and devising new ways to penetrate or circumvent traditional IT defenses. Forward-thinking cybersecurity experts and IT groups have recognized the need to confront threat actors by uncovering their methods and disrupting their operations before attacks occur. Security intelligence must provide the timely, clear and actionable context needed to make rapid, informed decisions and the appropriate effective actions to address each security challenge.

Technically, the blockchain revolution is based on the concept of ¿public verifiability¿, that is to say: a technical system which allows anyone to autonomously verify the accuracy of the state of the system. In a distributed ledger, any observer can verify that each action modifying the state of the system is valid: conforms toThe set of rules, accepted by all, which govern the system. This verifiability is only possible if the information necessary for validation is available, verifiable within a reasonable time, and the actions performed are observable. The verification process can advantageously rely on a blockchain, while guaranteeing the user confidentiality and a means of re-appropriating the use of identity attributes or personal data. Blockchain offers a transparent and auditable digital system, which ensures the integrity of documents, deeds or titles, exchanges, as well as the timestamping and scheduling of all transactions concerning them.

In non-technical language, without formulas and equations, but romanticised so that it can be read by those who until now have simply been applying statistics to software, solving exercises with pencil and paper, but know little (or nothing) about how this science, this art, this method and this technology came to be and how it can become an ally in the understanding and performance of every individual, company and institution. As Carlos Fiolhais rightly said, "Today as yesterday, statistics continues to be lightly evoked for everything and nothing, in one area and another... by the way and by the way, often to justify the unjustifiable. Only a scientifically literate citizen... can be warned of the errors and abuses committed in the name of science." Whoops! On the other hand, many are amazed at how far the past has brought us and how the future may surprise us as researchers, investigators, teachers, students and users work seriously to make good use of and dignify statistics. With the advent of jurisprudential precedents granting usucaption over public property, in particular Appeal 1.0194.10.011238-3/001 judged by the Minas Gerais Court of Justice, the question arose as to what public property is and on what grounds the judge based himself to grant ownership via usucaption, particularly after the prohibition on usucaption of any type of public property brought in by Precedent 340 of the Federal Supreme Court. In this context, if private individuals can lose their property if it does not fulfill its social function, it is necessary to reflect on the validity of the presumption that all public property is fulfilling its social function for the benefit of the community, as in the case of dominical property and vacant land.

The human brain is extremely complex. Even now, when we know so much about the brain of not only humans but also a number of animals, we are apparently still very far from understanding the physiological mechanisms of many mental functions. We can say that these questions are only just on the agenda of modern science. First of all, it concerns such mental processes as thinking, perception of the surrounding world and memory, and many others. At the same time, the main problems that will have to be solved in the millennium are now clearly defined.

Aurora is an asphalt siren who conquers the fauns hidden behind the forest of enchanted buildings: sometimes she is desired, sometimes she is an accomplice of a crime. She is a portrait of human misery, she is a living specter that wanders through the conscience of men. Throughout the pages, the author narrates Aurora's microcosm, she presents us with a multiplicity of characters that transpose with the different facets of her life. The story takes place in contemporary Mexico, in the comings and goings of the city and a town called Aserradero. The different characters that appear in it are mirrors that reflect everyday life, the street, work, or are cloistered in our home. Aurora is a tremendist text, a collage that talks about poverty, double standards, conjugal violence and love. This text is dialogue encapsulated within a collective healing process. The pages will weep with their punishment. The reader will whisper the secrets; he or she will become an accomplice or an executioner. When you find yourself inside this catharsis, I advise you not to be surprised if suddenly one of the characters reflects the silhouette of your face.

Basically, the Zeus Program consists of a sophisticated meditation suit, interfaced with an optical computer, which records thoughts and interacts through an interface. Cante Pri, is the result of the work with 10 year old students in a Social Sciences classroom at School No. 48 "América Latina" in the city of Tres Arroyos. The question that initiates the research work, comes from a student after sharing a talk with Alberto Cellerino, former local combatant of the Malvinas War. From that moment on, people and facts marked the path that still today we do not know where it will take us. We prefer that the universe continues to surprise us and that hopefully also before the end of this year it will allow us to know OUR beloved Islands. Since I was a child in my family I was made to love my country and its history. Today as a teacher I try to create awareness and knowledge in my students, because I believe that the only way to assert our rights and fight for what is rightfully ours is through knowledge and the word. Always understanding that wars make no sense, that they only involve losses and that regardless of the outcome, the result will always be negative. Thanks to my little giants for teaching me every day that a better world is still possible.

Women have the right to life; to health and medical care; to non-discrimination; to personal safety; to liberty; to privacy; to not be subjected to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment; to decide the number of children she wants to have and the interval between births; among others. Thus, the right to terminate her pregnancy falls exclusively within her private sphere; however, this right, like all others, is not absolute, but must be evaluated in terms of its interaction with the rights of third parties, such as the possible right to life of the future child to be born. Therefore, an important exercise is to delimit the boundary between a termination of pregnancy and the protection that the right must exercise because of the potential for life. In the United Mexican States, Mexico City is the only entity that allows the legal termination of pregnancy for any reason up to the 12th week of gestation. But is this correct, should this period be reduced, or perhaps it can be extended?

Technological benefits of information systems represent the positive or positive effects of using information systems and technologies in different organizations. Entrepreneurial benefits of information systems represent the sources of opportunity for new production or increased productivity, to increase the business activity of the enterprise. Technological benefits of information systems in today's world include providing better opportunities for business and economic growth. Information systems also help in defining, measuring and monitoring performance indicators and comparing them with targets and benchmarks.

Asthma is a major public health problem affecting all age groups. The aim of this study was to determine the level of asthma control according to different adult age groups ([20-40], [41-64], ¿ 65 years) and to identify factors associated with poor asthma control. Eighty patients were included. The most represented age group was [41-64] . Subjects [20-40 years] had statistically poorer asthma control. Subjects aged [41-64] had a good level of control, but there was no difference between the three groups. For subjects aged 65 and over, asthma was partially controlled. The uni-variate study showed that in subjects aged [20-40], a history of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease or depression, lower weight, lower body mass index and a higher degree of smoking intoxication were associated with poor control. In subjects aged 65 and over, a lower pre-broncho dilatation forced vital capacity was associated with poor asthma control.

This book originated as an in-depth study concerning the way companies dealt with the pandemic crisis that swept the entire planet in the early 2020s. Crisis as a result of which the world is changing and in particular the ways in which companies behave towards their stakeholders, mainly towards the shareholders of the various companies, are changing. The first chapter contains an extensive discussion of the concept of the dividend and, in general, the dividend policy implemented by companies under normal conditions. In the second chapter, the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance and expectations of small companies and the dividend policy implemented by companies following the previously mentioned crisis are explored in depth. In this chapter we can observe how companies have dealt with this period and the consequences it generates in relation to stakeholders. The third and final chapter deals with an almost in-depth analysis of two large companies operating in the fashion industry: Moncler and Brunello Cucinelli.

The great industrial development was one of the main responsible for environmental pollution. Some factors support this statement, such as the release of untreated effluents due to negligence on the part of companies. In Brazil, the leather industry comprises approximately 450 tanneries, of which around 80% are considered small companies. The sector generates 65,000 direct jobs and revenues are estimated at US$ 2 billion/year. According to RAIS-MTE, only 27,821 jobs are formal, that is, registered. However, this number does not include self-employed workers, informal workers and employees in slaughterhouses, which have the tanning sector integrated into the unit itself. Thus, this book addresses the study, through theoretical calculations, of the formation of the Cr+6 complex with different ligands.

This book aims to raise awareness of safety and the best working conditions for recycling works. All the proposed changes follow the current Regulatory Standards according to the subject. Brazil, despite being one of the largest economies in the world, has one of the worst income distributions, which has led thousands of people to survive on the streets, disposing of recyclable materials. This activity exposes waste pickers to the risk of accidents and is viewed negatively by society in general. The activity is considered dirty and dangerous, sometimes contributing to making public waste management more difficult and worse. On the other hand, when organised through cooperatives or associations, waste pickers can become partners in institutional selective waste management programmes, which in turn can change this stigmatised profile. The study is important because it aims to evaluate selective waste management as an action that can successfully integrate the economic, social, occupational and environmental needs of a municipality.

This work brings together a discussion involving a series of issues ranging from racism to concepts of social responsibility, involved in the digital universe as well as social networks, in a way that presents exhibitionist content from figures considered opinion leaders within media culture. A theoretical case study was carried out to answer the question that conceived this work as a whole, where we sought to understand what people in society think about movements backed by social actions, more precisely a case study of the "we are all monkeys" campaign, which mobilised social networks in 2014 against racism in football.

Demystifying a "truth" of the collective imaginary, which was in charge of creating and reproducing it, is not an easy task. When it comes to politics, it represents an even greater obstacle to know that the decisions made as reasonable citizens, do not always correspond to the realm of logical rationality; rather, they are influenced by a series of strategies aimed at encouraging something primitive of the human being: emotionality. This is the case of the electoral campaign led by Juan Zepeda, candidate to the Governorship of the State of Mexico for the period 2017-2023 for the Party of the Democratic Revolution, because with a series of political-electoral marketing strategies he managed to position himself in third place after 59 days of campaigning. This research intends to demonstrate through theory the type of campaign, which was of a playful nature, and the strategies employed, were to mobilize the emotional vote of the electorate; disguised as a myth, also built as a strategy, of a rational vote. It is a challenge as any social political research, since we open the debate to analyze eloquent speeches masked as rationality.

This book invites its readers to cultivate themselves and to analyze the situation of Colombian international trade through the trade agreement with the European Union. The Colombian agricultural sector has taken on the great challenge of internationalization. However, European protectionism has limited this purpose, affecting the behavior of its exports, to the detriment of the country's economic progress. The work is presented as a contribution to the useful and practical knowledge, through: The historical background regarding non-tariff barriers (the basis of European protectionism), the review of the regulations of the EU-Colombia Trade Agreement regarding Colombian agricultural exports and the analysis of export figures to the EU during 2010 to 2015. The above shows an overview of the situation of the Colombian agricultural sector with respect to trade with the European Union as a topic open to discussion. This study reflects one of the achievements of its author, who inspires them with this phrase: "Do not value your life by your goals but by what you are doing to achieve them" (Peter Drucker).

At the beginning of the 21st century, an anti-prohibitionist collective emerged in sector II of the UFRN, organizing cannabis marches (since 2010) and cycles of debate in the academic sphere. This book seeks to understand the historicity of the anti-prohibitionist social movement in Rio Grande do Norte which, since 2010, has been deeply linked to the history of the Anti-Prohibitionist Collective of Students and Other Frequenters - Cannabisativa - and their respective connections, processes, productions, conceptions, images and memories that constitute contemporary multicultural spatialities and temporalities. The issue of drugs is one of the central themes of the social reality of our times. The aim of this research is to problematize knowledge about "drugs", raising questions of social importance, using procedures linked to oral history and critical documentary analysis. Associated with the discussion of "drugs" are the themes of social inequalities, the criminalization of the poor and black people, ineffective public policies and inefficient laws.

The status of forest species of a Colombian Pacific site (03°50'58''N, 77°0.0'2.1''W) important for the future is presented. The study determined the structure and spatial distribution pattern for 27 species. Three peri-urban plots, susceptible to short-term changes in structure and function, were assessed. They were in-ventaried by creating grids with number of individuals/grid. The structure was assessed by multidimensional analysis-AM and spatial distribution patterns based on Autocorrelation-AE, Dependence-DE and Spatial Heterogeneity-HE. The results showed random distribution of individuals and species, with a slight tendency to concentration. The values of Moran's I index were: Plot 1=0.196749, Plot 2=0.289136; Plot 3=-0.060681. The causes of this result are unknown and its implications should be discussed from discipline.

Canetti's travelogue, Les Voix de Marrakech, also offered a glimpse into the city of yesteryear. The strolls of Canetti's alter ego gave us an insight into the Arab and Jewish quarters of the time. Finally, Daniel Sibony's Marrakech le départ (Marrakech the Departure) also gave us an insight into both the city of today and that of yesteryear. The return of Sibony's alter ego, a Jew who lived in the city's Mellah, activates his memory to the point of reflecting on Jewish life and the reason for his departure...

The following work was carried out in the City of Jiquilpan, Mich. at the Technological Institute of Jiquilpan, is a Research Project, completed in 2018 and is derived from the Subject of Maintenance Management with which it is intended to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the course in addition to contributing to the development of small and medium enterprises in the region with a proposal for improvement in the management of maintenance of machinery, equipment and facilities, seeking to preserve the quality of service expected of them as well as increase the useful life of all its resources to be attended.

In this book the author describes some moments of maritime history of Iberoamerica (Spain and Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America): the creation and development of submarine forces of Spain and Peru, operations of submarines of Argentina during the Falklands conflict, the uprising of sailors of the Chilean fleet in 1931, the history of such ships of the Peruvian fleet as the cruiser "Almirante Grau", the monitor "Huascar" and the ship "Yavari" from the highlands of Lake Titicaca and others. The book will be of interest not only to specialists, but also to a wide range of readers.

Herbalist traditions are more numerous in Africa than in any other continent. During the colonial period, these medicinal practices were repressed, but today, in a spectacular turnaround, doctors often work in close symbiosis with healers. The therapeutic use of medicinal plants dates back to the most ancient times in Africa. Egyptian writings confirm that herbalism was, for millennia, held in great esteem. The Abers Papyrus (15th century BC), one of the oldest preserved medical texts, lists more than 870 prescriptions and preparations, 700 medicinal plants - including yellow gentian (gentiana lutea), aloe vera (aloe vera ) and poppy (papaver somniferum). It treats bronchial conditions and crocodile bites. The medical techniques mentioned in the various Egyptian manuscripts constitute the bases of classical medical practice in Greece, Rome and the Arab world.

As a result of its intense exploration and production activities, the oil industry is responsible for generating a large amount of waste. Industrial solid waste is one of the factors responsible for major damage to the environment. A refinery has a strong impact on the environment, as it generates large quantities of waste through its production process, if it is not managed properly.

The phenomenon of longevity in the world has had significant social and economic repercussions. It is a process that develops according to the characteristics and specificities found in the various countries of the world. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has defined elderly people in developing countries as those aged 60 or over, and in developed countries as those who have reached the age of 65. In the Brazilian context specifically, we consider the formation of developed and developing regions, while there are realities characterised by economists as underdeveloped. The quantitative and qualitative data was analysed based on the theoretical framework, specifying ageing in the city of Manaus. Through a survey of the protection network, we identified poor old age, without affective-family ties, without the guarantee of social security. Passers-by in institutions, demanding programmes and services that are not delivered. Physically or mentally dependent.

In today's turbulent and extremely competitive environment, Brazilian companies are seeking greater competitiveness in order to meet the new demands of a globalised world. The main aim of this research is to characterise and measure the degree of internationalisation of Brazilian companies in the higher value-added products sector of the timber industry, based on a multi-case study. At the same time, an analysis is made of the internationalisation process used, describing the main difficulties encountered and the respective solutions adopted during its implementation. Ten companies in the sector were researched, selected according to their relevance to the sector. The results obtained prove the consistency of the formula created on the basis of theoretical assumptions, revealing important trends in the internationalisation process, organisational structure and technology used in the industry.

BPD is the leading acquired cause of lung development abnormalities in paediatrics. It is a chronic respiratory pathology that mainly affects premature infants. Since the 1970s, the scientific community's continuing interest in this disease has led to a better understanding of its pathophysiological mechanisms, with several risk factors interfering in the development of this pathology, the main one being prematurity itself. Advances in neonatology have paved the way for the management of increasingly premature newborns. However, despite these advances, the incidence of BPD has remained stable or even increased over time, posing a real challenge in terms of public health.Over the decades, BPD has become a major challenge in neonatology, with significant consequences for the morbidity and mortality of premature infants.It is clearly established that BPD is associated not only with significant respiratory morbidity, but also neurological and cognitive morbidity in premature newborns.

With the progression of AIDS caused by HIV, antiretroviral therapies have been developed to reduce plasma viremia, resulting in effective treatment of HIV carriers. The introduction of high-potency antiretroviral therapy, resulting from the combination of different drugs with different targets, represented an alternative that significantly reduced complications resulting from the infection and increased the life expectancy of those infected. However, other complications associated with antiretroviral drugs have been highlighted, such as changes in lipid metabolism and consequent cardiovascular disorders. The aim of this study was to describe the effect of antiretroviral drugs on the lipid profile of HIV-infected patients attending the STD/AIDS programme in the municipality of Gurupi, Tocantins.

We investigated the extent to which Hobbes's theory of the state in Leviathan is based on the religious values of the time. Hobbes' fear is the favourite fruit of the culture and imagery of his time, as these are structures that form part of the identity constitution of individuals. Religion gave the Hobbesian theory of the state, present in Leviathan, an idea that divine power reigned over the process of human organisation in this world, so the fear that drove human beings to transfer power to the state is not just the Hobbesian fear of violent death, but also the fear present in the religious and cultural dimensions that were embedded in the worldviews of Hobbes and the society of his time. The main sources are: the written documentation found in Hobbes' work Leviathan and scholars who analyse the relationship between religion and the state on the basis of this work. It was concluded that despite the constant presence of religion in Hobbes' time, in his text he condemns the attitude of religious leaders who use the name of God to obtain benefits, but he himself was unable to abstain from religion.

This book seeks to shed some light on the importance of social networks and to exemplify their application in the real world. It is an abridged scientific work in which a certain set of data is operated on, the connections between the data are analyzed, future connections are predicted and finally, the predicted data is compared with the real data, comparing the result and generating a coefficient of approximation in the prediction due to social networks.
