Understanding the workings of the criminalisation processes that guide the criminal prosecution system is a fundamental prerequisite for enabling alternatives to it. In this sense, it can be seen that the system operates through the discourse of fear, which allows the criminal justice system to be stepped up as fear is managed by the institutions of formal and informal social control. It is therefore interesting to note that this management of fear would not be possible without distinguishing between different categories of individuals, namely those who should be protected by the penal system and those who will be labelled as a threat to the former. In this respect, Michel Foucault's theoretical construction on the creation of the abnormal (and, consequently, the normal) is fundamental. In this study, we sought to better understand plural aspects of the functioning of the state's formal punitive system precisely from this Foucauldian abnormal-normal interpretative key. By using this method to analyse the punitive system, different articles (analyses) were produced, each with a specific focus, but sharing the same theoretical premises.

To build bridges, to show paths, to shed light through psychoanalysis on this distressing context, how can this new path be taken? Popular education seeks to involve social actors, fostering the process of participation and investigation, but what to do with this new demand, with these fragments acquired, how to put these pieces together, and pieces of suffering acquired over decades of silence, the composer Chico Buarque says "how to drink this bitter drink, shut up, swallow the toil, even shut up the mouth remains the chest, silence in the city is not heard". To show the daily lives of these social actors is to show their culture and beliefs - an example of this is the Christmas festival. The Catholic Church preaches using the writings that show John the Baptist inviting everyone to repent and convert, to change their mentality, starting from within (National Conference of Brazilian Bishops, Northeast Region 2), what tools is the church offering these people for this conversion? We are immersed in social exclusion, almost perfect capitalism, deliberate consumerism, the world of drugs and prostitution, sexual abuse.

The magistrate, and other operators of the law, are required to make a hermeneutic effort if they are committed to satisfying the ideals of justice, and not merely subsuming the fact to the norm, and this work will demonstrate that both in the field of civil law and collective law, there are incidences of resolution of the so-called hard cases, such as the decree of civil imprisonment when a substantial part of the food debt has been paid; in cases where the debtor is an elderly person; and, finally, in cases where the judiciary intervenes in public policies, requiring the operator of the law to have a hermeneutic framework capable of overcoming this type of difficulty.

The object of this work was to study indigenous braiding as a theoretical and formal reference for creating surface designs. When working on the proposal to develop surface designs with an ethnic reference, a counterpoint is sought to the current complacency of the Brazilian furniture industry, where the standard of aesthetics and, above all, of "good form" is simply imported from the European market. Therefore, a design that incorporates a part of Brazilian culture - indigenous braiding - and the valorisation of natural resources - working with certified wood or production leftovers - has great application possibilities and good prospects of generating greater added value for the product.

The study following the case studies is to be understood as a follow-up to the internal course on university didactics and represents a personal examination of pedagogical university didactics. The multitude of aspects of the field of knowledge, which are of increasing importance in the European "knowledge society", form a pedagogical challenge.The didactics of tertiary education sees itself as the implementation of academic teaching, teachability and scientific forms of work. General reflection on the scenario and the ever-changing factors that serve as material and functional sustenance to many of the human dynamics today, give origin and shape to a complex sociological phenomenon and are not always easily perceived: technological civilization. I assume four of them in this analysis as those that contribute the most and, in turn, on which this civilization is most dependent, in terms of trends, stability and continuity. The intention is to review the context in which the social dynamics that interest the research are produced, in order to disaggregate the scenario in which they develop and then prefigure an eventual way forward.

J. Hirschberger, points out that the philosophy of Plotinus is a high point in the history of philosophy, because from there the so-called Greek intellectualism is broken, and the Western metaphysics of the will emerges. The conception of freedom, in Plotinus, is based on a metaphysics of freedom centered on the essential problematic of the soul, for the inner man is what in truth is its essence. Plotinus is concerned neither with civic freedom nor with political freedom. His concern lies in the freedom of the soul itself. For without it all action would be empty, pure formality. For this reason, the metaphysics of freedom is necessarily to the will to freedom in the individual.As for the Metaphysics of the Beautiful, García Bazán states that he would be encouraged to say that there is no formulation of an aesthetic theory in what underlies any of Plotinus' ideas on the Beautiful. In the metaphysics of the Beautiful, Plotinus unfolds all the potentiality of the soul, the triple dimensionality of the soul is manifested in the multiple degrees of beauty, whether artistic or intellectual.These will be the two themes to be presented in this text.

¿A witness to current events¿ is a collection of articles that I have written. All of the chronicles, articles and contributions essentially touch on geopolitics, economics, social, psychological and in certain respects politics in view of their interferences and entanglements.

Haitian society was built on the wrong foundations from the outset. Very early on, the alliance between blacks and mulattos for independence was broken, and the old, dormant discriminatory practices of class and race resurfaced to dominate the country's history right up to the present day. As a result, two different worlds were created in the same country: the urban world (generally favored and dominant) and the rural world (discriminated against and dominated). As a result, the rural world is marginalized from mainstream society, and not taken into account in the social policy measures taken by the Haitian state. In this dissertation, the focus is on health care services as a social service, particularly in the Boileau communal section of the Cavaillon commune.So, the aim of this research is to understand the discriminatory motive that compromises communal sections' access to health care services within the framework of Haitian social policy. Subsequently, we seek to identify the market relations governing the privatization of basic social services in Haiti from a total perspective.

This book will deal with my undergraduate research in an interdisciplinary discipline, legal psychology, and will expose the various security measures that can be carried out by people who have committed crimes and have mental disorders.

The informality of communication tools causes weaknesses and ruptures in the relationships between subordinates and managers. It is also the cause of the low effectiveness of internal communication in the company. The prognosis if the problem is not solved is that the messages become rumors, are misinterpreted and do not reach their addressee, with the expected feedback. Through the content analysis, a communication plan is designed that proposes a process manual and identifies 5 tools to effectively communicate the messages to the internal public. The methodology used is through surveys, field observation, bibliographic research and interviews with experts in corporate communication, public relations and human resources.

This study was carried out for the covered warehouses of a company responsible for the storage, conservation and custody of imported goods, with the objective of designing the storage and material handling system. Through an initial diagnosis, existing problems were identified in the warehouses, such as inefficiency in the storage and handling of goods. The height, volume and area utilization indicators were calculated and found to be out of range. The storage capacity in tons was calculated for the two warehouses and the principle of location by popularity was used to locate the goods depending on the number of requirements. After verifying both methods, it was decided to present the layout redesign achieving an improvement in the location of the goods. This work is focused on the improvement of storage warehouses of unitized goods and should be very useful for professionals in the field of logistics in the warehouse or for those who wish to know how the design of a storage and material handling system is carried out.

Rice is most often grown under continuous flooding and uses large quantities of irrigation water. The effects of climate change will exacerbate the incidence of droughts and floods, and sustainable food security will depend on increased agricultural production and reduced consumption of irrigation water. In areas where water availability could pose problems, the use of irrigation systems adapted to water constraints is driving the development of new technologies. On the one hand, this will enable rational water management; on the other, it will create varieties adapted to aerobic cultivation, which remains an alternative to parsimonious management of water and inputs, thus guaranteeing sufficient production.

This book is based on research carried out at a plastic surgery clinic located in the Mucuri Valley. It is a quantitative survey, based on questionnaires applied to patients who underwent breast augmentation surgery between January 2011 and July 2012. Its overall aim was to assess customer perceptions of satisfaction with service provision. The results show this perception and the need for the company studied to further structure its organisational culture geared towards customer relations.

In recent years, the biotechnology industry has rapidly gained priority on many political, economic and industrial agendas in a myriad of countries. Today, the global biotechnology market is worth more than $281.7 billion dollars. In Mexico, the biotechnology industry is emerging and while countries such as Singapore, South Korea and India are beginning to form their industries at an accelerated pace, Mexico still lacks specific programs for the development of biotechnology. Therefore, Mexico and Baja California need to make changes in terms of industry development mechanisms. One of the key pillars for the drastic change required are the business models used by the industry since the right business models can redesign industries and boost their growth. Based on the above, the objective of this work was to generate a base business model for biotechnology companies in the state of Baja California. The findings showed that successful biotechnology companies present certain patterns in their business models.

In the present work, a microbiological quality study was carried out to determine the presence of Salmonella and E. coli in turkey sausages sold in supermarkets in the northern area of Guayaquil. The study was of a qualitative experimental nature, which allowed determining the presence of microorganisms in the samples of turkey sausages analyzed. The analyses were carried out at the Food Microbiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the University of Guayaquil from May to August 2018. The determination of Salmonella was performed by the traditional method using XLD (Xylose, Lysine, Deoxycholate) agar selective for Salmonella. For E. coli, Petrifilm AC Plates were used which facilitates the identification and counting of the total population of bacteria that exist on human consumption products or surfaces. The results obtained indicated that there is no presence of Salmonella and E. coli in any of the samples analyzed, and the study also showed the presence of total coliforms within the ranges allowed by the INEN Standards consulted.

This book, entitled "La droit foncier camerounais" (Cameroonian land law), is a simplified presentation of what emerges from the multitude of texts on Cameroonian land law. It begins with a brief presentation of the historical evolution of land management in Cameroon, from the period of German colonization, through French and English colonization, to post-independence. It then presents the different categories of land and their acquisition procedures. These include land in the national domain, land in the public domain, land in the private domain of the state, land held by other public corporations, and private land. These different types of land can be acquired by direct registration, concession, donation, bequest or sale. It also presents the commissions in charge of monitoring transactions, the land title and its importance, procedures for managing land disputes, land taxation and the body of texts governing the operation of this area of law.

Urban disorder is a reality in Africa's major metropolises. The trade and management of urban space in Cameroon's CTDs is of paramount importance given the acceleration of the decentralization process in this country. The book you are holding is an analysis of the stakes, logic and strategy of the players in the Yaoundé 1er arrondissement. It is based on the observation that most commercial activities in Cameroon take place in an informal setting. It's not surprising to find merchants in areas where the law prohibits the use of urban space. The anarchic use of urban space has revealed the problem of uncivilized commerce in urban areas. To understand this problem, we used a qualitative approach based on interviews (06) and in situ observation (05 markets, 05 urban spaces). Our survey revealed that the most advanced and controversial reason is the failure of the State to set up a reliable policy for the planning, development and management of urban space. In the light of these findings, we would like to offer a few words of perspective.

One of Brazil's most promising sports, beach volleyball, faces a harsh and cruel reality in order to survive on the sports scene. The lack of a fixed salary and the need to seek sponsorship are some of the main difficulties faced by athletes who dream of making their way in the sport. It is necessary to evaluate the way the sport is run in Brazil and to devise new strategies so that beach volleyball can return to the top, where it should never have left.

Everything must vary according to the setting, the taste and the nature of those to whom one is proposing one's creations.If music, without being a vital consumer product, is of great importance in our lives, decoration is also a substance without which everything would be dull and devoid of gaiety.Decorative painting, being part of this vast domain of decoration, needs to be taught. This would add to anyone's ability to value what he or she achieves in these and other areas of architecture with the use of color.

The object of this book was to study the maths curriculum proposals for primary school II of the São Paulo State Department of Education. The documents analysed were the Curriculum Guides for Primary Education from 1975; the Curriculum Proposal for Mathematics Education: Primary Education from 1992; and the São Paulo State Curriculum: Mathematics and Its Technologies from 2011. The problem that guided our investigation can be presented as follows: how do the curriculum documents approach the subject of maths and its articulation with other subjects? The aim of the research was to find out how the documents deal with the relationship between maths and other primary school subjects. Our research itinerary involved analysing the curriculum documents produced by the São Paulo State Department of Education (SEE/SP). The research's theoretical references were based on Silva (2010), Apple (2006), Moreira (1989), Sacristan (2000) and Lima (2011).

The aim of this book is to show how information technology can help provide accurate data for the administrative population census. When this operation is carried out without the support of new information and communication technologies, the data relating to the count is tedious and cannot be estimated by statistical methods. This book shows the various stages involved in implementing a computerized solution capable of managing the information linked to the population count using a database, and automating each of the algorithms.

The text becomes a didactic tool of great value that describes the research findings achieved in the recognition of a traditional context of teaching chemical concepts of grade 10 of Colombian secondary education and shows an alternative training, from the Flipped Classroom method, both for the teacher and the student to interact under the same purpose, learning and the achievement of basic skills through the use of Communication and Information Technologies (ICT), creating an active learning environment, aimed at strengthening the didactics in the teaching of chemistry and science teacher training, under a socio-constructivist perspective and scientific problem solving.

Colombia and Venezuela have become two nations with close economic, political and migratory ties. The long, porous and difficult border they share has served as a bridge for both countries to intertwine. With the arrival of Chavism to power in Venezuela in 1995, several changes began in the political and economic system of this country, which implied a new chapter for relations with Colombia. Given this panorama, it is pertinent to analyze to what extent this new political program affected those built on the common border. Who are the Colombians who migrate? What are their main motivations? Do Venezuelans migrate to Colombia? These are some of the questions addressed by the document and will be done from the perspective of the change of power in Venezuela and Colombia. Likewise, it is intended to establish to what extent both countries in the period 1999- 2015 impacted binational migration. The results show that migration between both nations is dynamic, that people on each side of the border are sensitive to economic and political variations between the two countries.

In today's Venezuela, educational institutions are faced with the challenge of confronting the school contradictions that arise from the day-to-day life of teachers. This research is aimed at proposing a strategy for the meaningful training of the teaching citizen from the interaction of universities in the educational circuit in which teachers live. The epistemology is circumscribed in a holistic approach, the application of which in this research is based on the assumption that teacher training has similar characteristics to any system created by man and that, like any other system, it is conditioned by broader systems that encompass it. For this reason, interviews, surveys and observation of 37 informants (teachers and coordinators of the Angostura Technical Assistance School) belonging to the Cathedral Parish circuit were used. The findings highlight the need to awaken teachers to the importance of constant and systemic training in the different educational actions, so that they feel trained, with skills and abilities for a professional exercise consistent with educational changes.
