Prolonged storage of citrus fruits exposes them to a variety of ailments, which may be physiological in origin, often linked to cold, or parasitic in origin, essentially fungal diseases. Identification results led to the recognition of four fungal species, Penicillium italicum, Penicillium digitatum, Aspergillus niger and Acremonium sp. isolated from preserved citrus fruit in the Kenitra region of Morocco. The antifungal properties of azoxystrobin and the essential oils tested in vitro were broad-spectrum, with very strong antifungal activity on the diametral growth of pathogens responsible for citrus fruit rot.

The purpose of this paper was to reflect on the coincidences and differences between the Limit Situations of the German philosopher Karl Jaspers and the Tragic Triad of the founder of Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, the Jewish physician Victor Frankl. The latter always acknowledged his sources and was no less generous with the second greatest existential philosopher after Heidegger. The limit situations proposed by Jaspers are struggle, chance, guilt and death, but he adds that they all have suffering in common. To assemble his masterly tragic triad, Frankl only takes three of the five, which are suffering, guilt and death, and explains that they represent the tragic part of life and situations from which no human being can escape or evade and continue to support one of his central concepts such as the Meaning of life. All life has meaning and this can be found even in suffering, guilt and death.

Being a manager in an educational institution means having the reins of success in your hands or running the risk of letting go without reaching the goal, it means carrying out actions that lead you to be an alternative within the community to improve the quality of life of the students on whom you have an impact. Documenting the work of a successful school administrator represents an arduous but necessary research work to recognize the characteristics and practices of successful school administrators, to know their profile, their professional competencies and how much the context influences or not to achieve success. A fundamental part of this research was the selection of the ideal principal to answer the question posed. Therefore, the function of a principal represents an important advance in education since, as an educational leader, he/she must use his/her knowledge to promote the efficiency of the teacher, the adequate execution of educational programs, the timely diagnosis of problems that arise, the evaluation and the optimal development of the educational project of the institution he/she directs.

Cervical cancer is a disease that can be detected at an early stage and is curable in most cases, yet it is considered a public health problem because it affects less developed countries with a disproportionate frequency. For this reason, the question was posed: What is the life experience of women with cervical cancer that they can give to improve detection measures?

The main objective of this book is to analyse the costs in the services of a leasing company, with which the company can systematise its cost processes, due to the fact that it does not have an adequate structure, of tasks determined for the trusted personnel, this affects the results obtained in the financial statements and damages the image of the organisation and that of the shareholders, as a result we seek to implement the processes at the moment of providing the service, to assign the costs in an adequate manner at the moment of their classification in the records, with the aim of obtaining economic benefits demonstrating that its process for providing the final service is profitable for the company.

The aim of this research was to identify the critical factors that facilitate and hinder the development of a culture geared towards innovation and knowledge management at SENAI-PE. To this end, an analysis of the problem proposed at the institution was carried out. The theoretical perspective used to substantiate the topic covered studies on knowledge management, innovation, organisational culture and organisational learning. As for the methodology, the research used quantitative and qualitative methods, through the application of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews that contributed to a more in-depth understanding of this case study. Based on the data presented, it can be concluded that organisational culture is an essential factor in the development of innovation and knowledge management and information technology, when used well, can make a favourable contribution, with managers as the main mediators in this process, to the extent that they become aware of the value of knowledge and provide suitable learning environments for employees to learn as members of an innovative organisation in a knowledge society.

The teaching of history is subject to innovation every day, as society advances, and with it technology and all kinds of scientific progress in various fields of knowledge. Therefore, history teaching must break with certain paradigms and go hand in hand with the innovations happening in the contemporary world, as well as requiring well-trained teachers who have mastery of the area of history, not only in content, but in the use of innovative strategies and resources attached to the advances of the new times and the demand of the present generation of young people who find in digital media all kinds of information or knowledge that the teacher can provide them with respect to history.In this sense, this book is a didactic tool where the teacher will know the problems of teaching history, not to remain with the mere knowledge of them, but to be able to understand how to avoid them, how to overcome them, in order to also find possible alternatives to consider for their better application.

This micro-project, entitled "Production and marketing of selected oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis) in the commune of Allada", is an agricultural enterprise. Called "La PERSÉVÉRANCE" by the local population.The total cost of the micro-project is 11,157,190 CFA francs, of which 4,749,690 CFA francs (42.57% personal contribution) and 6,407,500 CFA francs (57.43% borrowed) will be committed to the Fond National pour la Promotion de l'Entreprise et de l'Emploi des Jeunes (FNPEEJ) at an interest rate of 5%, repayable over five (05) years in constant annual instalments.The operating results of the said micro-project amount to 4,671,310 FCFA in the first year, 5,619,185 FCFA in the second year, 6,476,167.5 FCFA in the third year, 7,249,648.25 FCFA in the fourth year and 8,455,357.08 FCFA in the fifth year.

Plastic pellets are small granules used as raw materials in the production of plastic materials of all kinds. These granules are small in size and weight. There are various industrial and logistical activities involved in handling this raw material, such as production, processing, storage, transportation and distribution. These activities, when poorly managed, can act as a driver for the loss of pellets to marine environments. Mitigation of pellet loss is not completely efficient. In short, the industries and companies that deal with these pellets cannot simply dump them. However, at the same time, there are no specific legal frameworks on this issue.The panorama of pellet pollution on Brazilian beaches is one of contamination for the most part. This book discusses the cause of this pollution, the lack of legal frameworks and monitoring, as well as reflecting on the exacerbated consumption of today's society.

High vehicle congestion causes low levels of mobility for citizens in the main cities of Venezuela and visibly in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas (AMC), representing additional costs that are added to consumer products and inputs, as it is directly related to man-hours lost in it, preventing the completion of tasks at the scheduled times. The objectives of this research are to identify and analyse the causes that originate it, developing and proposing alternatives and/or solution strategies. In this case, the observation of the problem is carried out, as well as the consultation of opinion to elements intrinsic to the investigation, knowing and registering every detail of the situation; with this, a clear and precise vision of the details and information necessary to diagnose the situation found and of data of interest for the contents of the proposal is achieved.

Tuberculosis (TB) continues to be a major global public health problem. Since 2002, the global incidence of TB has been on a downward trend with an average decline of 1.3% per year. Although this is encouraging, the possibility of reaching elimination by 2050, according to the World Health Organisation's target, is still weak. In Argentina, TB notification is also on a general downward trend. However, the epidemiological picture is complicated by several factors, including co-infection with HIV and drug-resistant forms of TB. The objectives of this study were to determine the clinical significance of MDR/XDR-TB and NTMs within the overall diagnosis of TB in the northern zone of Greater Buenos Aires (ZNGBA), from June 2013 to December 2016; to study the mutations associated with the emergence of resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis and their population distribution; and to explore the genetic diversity and variability of disease-causing NTMs in the community.

We conclude by saying that it is of utmost importance that students are motivated for the acquisition of new knowledge, since a stimulating environment requires at least that a propitious climate of acceptance and trust be developed in the classroom, in which the student feels safe to participate and that, consequently, contributes to a positive personal representation. Seventy-six percent of the students stated that they agree that the positive human climate established by the teacher in the classroom favors learning. All of the above is corroborated in the results of the questionnaire applied to the students, which showed that 56% of them responded that teachers always motivate them to improve their academic performance; however, 59% of the students stated that the influence their teachers have on their commitment to perform well is low. According to the results of the survey applied to the teachers, it was more than clear that the teachers expressed that according to the data from the records of previous years, the students' performance was 65 - 70, and most of them ranged between 76 - 85.

The pretext of this reflection is to explore the dynamics that characterise the political mobilisation of ethnic sectors in Colombia, using the concept of interethnicity to model a critique of the way in which the struggles for the rights of these sectors have historically unfolded. The characterisation of the encounters and misunderstandings between the universal and particular dimensions of politics will be recurrent in order to promote a specific understanding of the problem of the state, which will play a leading role throughout the reflection, and in relation to which considerations will be made about the complex relationship that this institutional instrument, as a more or less valid figure for effecting concrete transformations, has maintained with the country's ethnic peoples, discussing, in a less formal way, the global economic scheme that disrupts this relationship. Finally, the content of this text is conceived as a repertoire of clues or theoretical insinuations to rethink the conceptual frameworks that delimit the ways of doing politics and political agency in the Colombian context.

Nowadays, on-board electronics occupy an increasingly important place in the automotive sector. The rapid evolution of these technologies in this field has forced engineers and researchers to implement new solutions and new cutting-edge technologies to develop competitive products on the market ensuring the efficiency, safety and quality demanded throughout. by reducing production costs. From this imminent need, several new development methods are born, such as the use of the Model Based Design approach ensuring the automatic generation of embedded code, in real time from the creation of the project model composed of block diagrams ensuring the functionalities of the project a fairly well-responded method in the industrial field as well as research and development. The objective of this project is to design a software environment for automatic coding by applying the Model Based Design approach.

The book reports on an experiment carried out by ten teachers and a researcher who worked together to improve their assessment practice. To achieve this, each contributed according to his or her field of expertise, the researcher in the sense of observing and analyzing teaching practices, and the teachers in the implementation and reflective analysis of the skills assessment process. The researcher used an observation grid to collect data characteristic of each teacher's assessment practice, which he then analyzed. Each teacher used a reflective analysis grid to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of his or her evaluation practice. This enabled them to test their pedagogical and didactic choices and deduce their impact on learner performance. The results obtained suggest an inappropriate implementation of competency assessment: indeed, the analysis shows that this evaluative practice, rather than referring to a socioconstructivist paradigm, is more reminiscent of a behaviourist paradigm.

The creation of a device for salt spray corrosion tests is of great importance for the study of corrosion in the metallurgical field. Commercial salt chambers are very susceptible to maintenance repairs, thus generating a high cost. The aim of this work was to develop a low-cost device that complies with the ASTM B 117 and ISO 9227-12 technical standards. The equipment was validated by analysing its salt spray efficiency, the effects on the test specimens and calculations of the corrosion rate and mass loss. Methods were applied to build the equipment using low-cost materials that are inert to salt spray corrosion. The results obtained were analysed and compared to the technical standards, proving to be satisfactory. The visual analyses of corrosion and the calculations of mass loss and corrosion rate were similar to professional equipment, proving that the tests were valid.

The aim of this collection is to present some of the results of theoretical and empirical research studies carried out by academics and professionals working in the health sciences at higher education institutions. All of the works were concerned with health and education, intertwined with the social and cultural aspects of a given reality. The studies cover phenomena such as health education with the use of play, medical training in different contexts, aspects of domestic violence expressed in popular songs, as well as the social skills of mothers with their children, closing with a presentation of the interface between psychology and social assistance.

Difficulties in semen collection are due to high viscosity, the main factor that makes cryopreservation impossible. Two cryopreservation protocols (straws and pellets) and two commercial dilutors (AndroMed and Triladyl) were evaluated. Three 4-year-old male Q¿ara llamas, 9 sexually receptive females were selected, semen collection was performed by post-copulation vaginal aspiration, samples were evaluated, macro-microscopic characteristics of semen subsequently diluted with AndroMed and Triladyl independently, refrigerated from 38 to 5ºC in 2 hours, sperm motility and vitality were evaluated in the thawed samples. The post-thaw motility for the straw protocol was 41.17±15.46 and 43.24±14.61 % for AndroMed and Triladyl respectively, and for the pellet method it was 19.17±13.23 and 28.19±15.49 % for AndroMed and Triladyl, with a difference between methods (P

The incidence of penile cancer (PC) in developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America is high and is considered a public health problem. Brazil stands out among the countries with the highest incidence of PC in the world, the condition can account for 2.1% of all neoplasms in men and mainly affects inhabitants of the North and Northeast regions. The known risk factors for developing PC are: poor hygiene, phimosis, human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, tobacco use and risky sexual behaviour. HPV infection is present in 30 to 50 per cent of penile cancer cases. And the immunohistochemical test for p16INK4a is used as an indicator of the presence of HPV and as a prognostic marker for squamous cell carcinomas in various locations. However, the role of this marker in penile carcinoma has not yet been fully elucidated. Therefore, this book addresses the expression of p16INK4a in penile cancer and HPV.

Relevance: in the modern, dynamic and constantly changing world for survival and comfortable work in the market, organizations need to adjust to the existing conditions. One of such measures to improve the performance of the enterprise is the concept of lean production, which allows to minimize the above-mentioned losses in future activities. The application of lean methods, tools especially in the last decades has been very successful in large international enterprises as well as in large domestic enterprises. In addition, in recent years, lean manufacturing has been viewed from the position as a possible solution to the crisis that has affected domestic enterprises. In fact, the basic concepts of lean manufacturing, such as customer orientation, value seeking and therefore sudden waste reduction and many others, make the implementation of this system quite relevant.

Institutions that use animals for scientific purposes must be committed to good vivarium practices in teaching, research and technological development activities, always in accordance with the principles of biosafety, in order to avoid or minimise possible harm to human health, animals and the environment and to guarantee the quality of the projects developed, while preserving animal welfare. To this end, this Biosafety Guide has been drawn up covering the following topics: a) the regulations applicable to biosafety, occupational safety and the use of laboratory animals; b) the construction and environmental aspects of vivariums; c) the environmental risks to which professionals are subject and the main ways of preventing or reducing them.

In Cuba there are no specific regulations on this matter, so it is essential to delimit what would be the best protection for this institution in our legal system.Artistic Names are not Trademarks or Works, object of Copyright protection, but should have an independent protection from those used in Cuban practice and in most international legislations, having as its main manifestation the creative one, linked to the artistic field, so they constitute a sui generis figure consisting of a denomination used by the artist or group of them, to identify the artist or group of artists before the public.

The main objective of this manuscript is to provide the possibility to control and evaluate tax planning, since the tax world is not limited to the law, it requires other tools that contribute to strengthening the application. This book is an investigation that covers the problems concerning the constitution of Nature, Destiny, Theology, Psychology, Ethics and moral responsibility in Stoicism. All this having as a common thread of the developed argumentation the question of whether the human being is a participant or not of nature, and if, therefore, the Stoic formula for virtue, "to live in accordance with nature", implies or not the existence of an autonomous or heteronomous agent, morally responsible or not for his actions.

The aim of this study was to compare two scales for measuring involvement: the New Involvement Profile (NIP) and the Personal Involvement Inventory (PII), assessing their psychometric properties when applied to the context of sport. The aim was to compare the explanatory power of these two scales in relation to the intention to recommend and the intention to repurchase participation in street running events.

Anticipating one more element to the background, it is important to mention that the present work is the result of a collaborative work by university professors with postgraduate degrees, therefore, the introduction, background, diagnosis, problem statement, objectives of the work and its justification or relevance, hypothesis or the corresponding premises, contextual theoretical framework, methodology, development and conclusions that are seen and written as experiences or reports from different occupational fields are complied with.

Threatened, the people of South America are trying, today, to survive and protect their culture, plant care being an integral part of this struggle. The deforestation of tropical forests leads to the disappearance of thousands of plant species, some of which could have served as remedies. South American herbal medicine is made up of shamanic rituals and numerous plants, but not yet fully documented, protected by the density of the tropical rainforest. However, these are only two facets of the herbalist tradition of the Amazon and Orinoco regions. In other regions - the Andean plateau of Bolivia, the humid plains of Paraguay and large cities, such as Rio de Janeiro - the reality is very different.

The aim of this investigation was to analyse the origins and histories of some of the ingredients or preparations from the Sertões region of Crateús, with a view to contributing to the memory of local and traditional habits. To this end, a more in-depth bibliographical study was carried out, based on the search for authors who dealt with the uses, customs and habits of food in Crateús. Subsequently, field research was carried out in two stages: 1) interviews with cooks living in Crateús to find out about the region's main preparations, dishes and inputs. 2) field research in the district of Tucuns, where it was possible to get a glimpse of production in the region's flour houses and the making of manzape. From the analysis and discussion it was possible to obtain relevant data, having identified a strong culture of flour houses and manzape production in Tucuns. It was also possible to see which dishes are symbols of the region, in order to record the preparations and contribute to the memory of local and traditional customs in order to preserve them.
