The determination of liability in triangular labour relations in Nicaraguan law shows a problem consisting of the lack of a special law that regulates this type of relations and the existing normative disjunctive between the adjective law in the face of the substantive law and special laws in labour matters. This means a lack of security and effective legal protection to the detriment of the parties involved in this type of labour relations. This book describes the legal context of triangular employment relationships and the joint and several liability that derives from them. In short, it unravels the legal and doctrinal foundations on which the imputation of joint and several liability is based and describes the weaknesses and limitations existing in the labour legal framework, with a view to identifying opportunities for improvement to reduce the problems described. This work is useful for labour law scholars, workers' and employers' associations, and business lawyers.

Bats are the second most diverse group of mammals whose importance lies mainly in their ecological functions within the ecosystem. In Pico San Juan, there are no studies that compare species composition at different altitudinal ranges. The objective of the present work was to identify and compare the bat assemblages distributed at a regional altitudinal scale. The monitoring was conducted for three consecutive nights during the month of September 2018 in three altitudinal ranges: 600 m, 800 m, 1100 m, which are located in the municipality of Cumanayagua, Cienfuegos province, south-central Cuba. Three 9-meter mist nets were used for the identification of bat species. Eleven bat species were identified, belonging to four families and 10 genera, representing 42.3% of the chiropterofauna for Cuba and 57.9% for Guamuhaya. The best represented trophic guild was the insectivores (6 species). It was demonstrated that species richness is influenced by the altitudinal gradient, which is responsible for the heterogeneity of the landscape in Pico San Juan.

With the advent of new technologies, there has been a widening of broadcasting and reception channels, and the Internet has become a means of communication, a source of information. In this context, the information society has emerged, characterised by the immense volume of information that is freely disseminated by various means, but information for information's sake is not knowledge. In order to achieve knowledge, it is necessary to select information, analyse and interpret it. This is why there is a need to debate the constructs of information behaviour and information competence. The theoretical basis of this study lies mainly in information behaviour and competence, contextualised by the information society, where the use of the Internet is capable of expanding the use and production of new information. It deals with the quality of sources made available on the Internet, the construction of new knowledge and scientific communication.

"This was the beginning of our current Legal English Seminar at the Catholic University of Cuyo San Luis (Argentina), which is both face-to-face and through a virtual environment. This is a teaching experience, fascinating and still open to future developments, which seems to us worthy of being told. In this work, therefore, we intend to narrate and describe how we ventured into the fields of blended learning of Legal English, as well as to show how we conducted a real research on the students' beliefs in this subject. We are at the beginning of a discipline, and like all beginnings, we have advances and setbacks, enthusiasts and skeptics, scholars and just "visitors" to the subject. But nothing is lost: every teacher and developer of the subject helps to produce a daily growth in this "sub-language", in this discipline (Legal English). And, although the phrase sounds trite, we can say that... there are already many more of us."

This paper analyzes the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) relative to GDP and economic growth. The research hypotheses were that FDI flows relative to GDP have a significant and positive impact on economic growth in both the short and long term. The results indicate that FDI has a positive and significant impact in the short term, while in the long term the impact is negative but not significant. This non-significance is essentially due to the orientation of these investments in the mining sector, where products are exported in their raw state, to the short lifespan of the companies, and to the system of corruption. It is therefore recommended to further strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Guinea, create conditions for the mobility of loanable funds for the productive system, improve the domestic debt payment system, diversify the destination of FDI for greater impact on the economy, and fight corruption.

The present work was carried out with the purpose of increasing the knowledge about bats and highlighting their importance for the ecosystem, through the ecosystemic roles that they fulfill, as well as to make known that in Peru the research works are increasing, in order to make known to the authorities that future plans should consider many more aspects to avoid the impact of bats. This study could not have been carried out without the support of the VERTEBRATE Research Center, which belongs to the Professional School of Biology of the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco. It should be emphasized that in the highlands of Peru there are two seasons characterized by very different climatic conditions, therefore the ecological conditions also vary and thanks to this we were able to evaluate the difference in the diversity of chiroptera in this locality.

There are many paths that Inclusive Education has taken in recent years in order to better provide those with special conditions, at an intellectual, motor or sensory level, with adequate conditions for development. This work seeks to contribute by weaving reflections and showing through field research that it is possible to do so through small but important adaptations, both in daily activities and in the educational environment. Properly selected play activities are certainly one of the paths to be followed by those who work or live with children with hearing problems that prevent them from enjoying all the benefits that games and play can offer. This is due to the difficulty of communicating with listeners and perceiving stimuli. Trying to choose play activities that take into account other sensory stimuli will be more beneficial in the case of the hearing impaired, since emotional and psychological factors will be closer to normal, avoiding stress, which over time induces high levels of anxiety. Let's focus on potential rather than deficits.

Faced with the need to reflect on the teaching of chemistry in Youth and Adult Education (EJA), a science that is sometimes considered abstract when it comes to the absence or insufficiency of resources for better learning, we sought to detail reports from a school located in an area of social vulnerability that highlighted the main challenges perceived by students in this type of education. The reports were obtained by means of a research questionnaire and the results presented in the form of graphs followed by descriptions of the points considered important to the characterisation of the study in order to better understand the needs of the target audience of Youth and Adult Education. These reflections are supported by the bioethical framework of Principialism, which is based on the coexistence of four principles: beneficence, acting for the benefit of others; non-maleficence, not inflicting harm or evil on oneself or others; autonomy, the ability to act independently, without coercive influences; and justice, as the promotion of equality, or fairness, of treatment for all individuals, according to established standards.

This book presents the daily life of the foot soldiers in the fields and battle camps of the Thousand Days' War, based on their social practices and ritualisation, which allowed the construction of customs, norms, roles and languages to be established. In order to do this, we worked firstly on the panorama of the war; secondly, the soldier's life in the campaign from military discipline through practices such as recruitment, punishments, desertion, military instruction and criminal acts, as well as supplies related to food and equipment, and also the sanitary conditions associated with the treatment of corpses and their implications for the living conditions of soldiers, the treatment of illnesses and the wounded. In the Thousand Days' War, a reconfiguration of soldiers' everyday life was established "spontaneously" on the basis of military aspects, where this reconfiguration made it possible to explain from another historical perspective the phenomena of social mobility, militarisation of society and new modes of sociability on a political and social level.

Throughout the history of organisations, the way of managing personnel has changed dizzyingly due to the demands of each era; nowadays, the human factor is managed from a humanistic perspective according to the needs of the individual. We cannot deny that work stress is a variable that affects organisations at different levels, bringing negative consequences as it affects productivity, human relations, organisation and execution of tasks. Taking into account the two previous approaches, there is a new strategy that is making its way in companies: art therapy, which is a technique that has diverse utilities and varied fields of action. For this research, art therapy is profiled as a technique for coping with work-related stress.

The Mexican agricultural sector is an important pillar of the country's economy and its evolution has been determined by the economic model established in the country for its development. More than twenty years after the liberalisation of the sector and the signing of NAFTA, Mexico, Canada and the United States renegotiated a new North American Free Trade Agreement on 30 November 2018. There has been much questioning about the impacts of such an agreement on different sectors in the three countries. During the negotiations between the United States and Mexico, one of the sectors that has gained relevance in these negotiations has been the agricultural sector, especially on the Mexican side. Impressions conveyed are of consolidation and maintenance of the agreements reached over the last twenty years. However, is the Mexican countryside productive and has it developed in recent years? Has the Mexican agricultural sector evolved adequately since independence from Spain and after the Mexican revolution at the beginning of the 20th century? Reading this book will serve to contextualise its evolution and clarify the possible answers to these questions.

The purpose of this book is to reflect on the teaching practice of high school physical education teachers in the public schools of Formosa, Goiás. Teachers took part, and from their perspective we describe and analyse the information collected in the fieldwork, with the aim of understanding the construction of the Physical Education teacher's teaching practice. The research is qualitative in nature, as our interest centres on the practice of secondary school PE teachers, their workplace and the conditions that surround them. Ethnography was therefore the most appropriate approach for the purposes envisaged. We opted for semi-structured interviews (1), lesson observation (2), field diaries (3) and document analysis (4), such as programmes and/or mapping of secondary school content in the schools investigated. The information was interpreted based on the construction of four thematic blocks resulting from the thematic proximity of the ten categories of analysis that emerged from the interviews with the research participants.

This book deals with the social inclusion of people who have left the Brazilian prison system through work. Stigmatised by imprisonment, in their search for work, prisoners encounter barriers of discrimination and prejudice. Although the 1988 Federal Constitution enshrined the dignity of the human person and the social value of work as fundamental foundations of the Republic, principles of the Democratic State of Law, there is a huge mismatch between these principles and reality. Without work, convicts not only have their right to freedom curtailed, but they also fail to realise themselves as integral human beings who are active participants in society. Labour law does not deal with human labour only from an economic point of view, but broadens this conception in its various possibilities, always having the principle of human dignity as a horizon, seeking to establish a legal concept that is consistent with social reality, in order to make it fully effective. Therefore, this is not a study about punishment or crime, but about post-prison working conditions, and analyses of prejudice and discrimination do not escape this scope.

(Genesis 4:26, The Holy Bible, 1960, p. 3). Family violence has been present in our lives since the dawn of humanity; women, children, old people or defenceless men have endured throughout history the violence of the powerful against their being. Eradicating this situation from people's lives should not be a utopian aspiration, but a reality that is protected and protected by the legal regulations that govern their daily lives.

This book deals with the phenomenon of outsourcing of public transport drivers, which has been heavily criticised for its contracts, which create job insecurity. In recent years, this form of contracting has gained great importance. It also addresses the labour characteristics of the workers of route 23 in Ciudad Victoria, in which the long working hours stand out. Based on the results obtained, the reality of public transport drivers leaves much to be desired and presents an urgent need to study the effects of job insecurity and its impact on the way of life of employees and the competitiveness of companies as real or fictitious facts.

Odontogenic lesions are a heterogeneous group of pathologies that affect the jaws. In the group of benign odontogenic lesions, odontogenic keratocysts and ameloblastomas stand out as benign lesions that show locally aggressive behavior and a greater tendency to recur. In contrast, the dentigerous cyst exhibits an indolent biological behavior. The management currently recommended for odontogenic lesions with aggressive biological behavior remains controversial, and in many cases mutilating surgical procedures are performed due to the extent of the surgery. Marsupialization, a form of decompression, is another method for treating such lesions. The aim of marsupialization is to reduce the size of the lesion so that less extensive surgery can be performed.

Ultrasounds are mechanical waves with many applications that allow the development of techniques that are neither invasive nor harmful to health. This work focuses on the field of dental implantology, developing a non-destructive system for monitoring the process of Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR). However, the ROG technique presents surgical acts and its diagnosis is based on radiological tests to plan the implant placement. This research is based on developing a study to give a diagnosis of the regeneration of the bone system by means of the ultrasound technique, as these are non-ionising, do not require surgical procedures and are relatively inexpensive. Experimental studies have been carried out with different transducers with frequency ranges of 0.5, 1, 5 and 7.5 MHz on the behaviour of different aqueous solutions that equate this regeneration in the bone, measuring and calculating parameters such as the speed of sound and broadband ultrasonic attenuation by means of the echo impulse technique, with the aim of establishing a diagnostic tool for the evaluation of bone quality in this procedure.

It is unquestionable that enthusiastic readers of the noir genre seek out and follow these works for the themes of literary tension, for the fast and fluid handling of each plot, for the atmosphere of tension between political power and corruption, for the violence and injustice presented within an aesthetic of crime; but it is also true that these stories are sought out and read because they present the reality of the link that exists between norm and violence in 21st century society. Understood in this way, the black narrative assumes violence as the basis of transgression and provokes in society the need for ontological difference with the other in order to force itself to equate, to the reflexive identification that builds the basis of mimesis. This mimetic nature thus conditions each individual to participate in the creation of a world on the threshold of apocalypse. This book presents the proceedings of the CILDE 2018 conference held at Texas Tech University. Contributors: Lucha Corpi, Jeffrey Oxford, José Juan Colín, Rodrigo Figueroa Obregón, Rolando Díaz, Christina Miller, and Jovana Gómez.
