The aim of this book is to contribute to a better understanding of the strategies for promoting innovation in government and strengthening social participation that have emerged in recent years. Social participation has always been seen as a way of giving greater legitimacy to the actions of public authorities, favouring social control of government actions. Indeed, instruments such as participatory budgeting, public policy committees and councils have established themselves as mechanisms for bringing citizens and public authorities closer together. This book aims to highlight the need to align the narratives of innovation in public management and social participation, seeking to reduce the distance between the executive branch and the public service user, which is actually a premise for generating public value for society and the state. Thus, social participation is presented as a way of better understanding citizens' expectations and needs, with a view to developing innovative and more assertive public policies.

The aim of the book is to deal with corporate social responsibility as a commitment to sustainable development, given that although it is a right guaranteed in our legal system, it is still incipient in our society as a concern for the community. It is true that the state does not act efficiently with regard to the collective interest in environmental preservation, a situation in which the company can commit itself to carrying out corporate responsibility actions, as well as serving as a resource for sustainable development, while still achieving its economic objectives for partners and shareholders, not least because sustainability can provide a competitive edge to be materialized in positive economic results. However, the company's commitment to sustainable development encourages consumers to adopt sustainable consumption patterns, as they will be aware of the company's commitment to means of production related to natural resources and maintaining the environment for future generations.

The main objectives of this academic paper are to understand the relationship between quality of life at work and the satisfaction of the lawyers at the Sperotto Advogados Associados law firm, which kindly opened its doors so that the author could fulfil his objectives of understanding the relationships mentioned above, which will be detailed in this article. In order for the article to be completed, theoretical bases were used from different authors, who collaborated with the author's ideas and ideals, which affirm human, personal and interpersonal relationships within the most different organisations. All these companies spread across the four corners of the world have something in common, regardless of their size, country, state, culture, level of complexity... If you haven't been able to understand or identify this something in common, surely after reading this book you will identify it and understand these relationships a little better.

In the monograph botanical classification, origin, distribution and peculiarities of onion seed production in the conditions of Uzbekistan. Analyzed, the timing of sowing seeds, feeding and planting areas, the size of mother bulbs on the yield and quality of seeds. Experimental confirmed accelerated and non-transplanting method of obtaining seeds, also features of formation and maturation of onion seeds. Summarized the results of research on the potential and actual productivity of onion seeds, variability of some morphological, physiological, biochemical traits in the process of seed development, economic evaluation of seed growing at different sizes of bulbs. The book is designed for biologists, teachers, masters of biological and agronomic faculties of universities, as well as for amateurs engaged in the cultivation of onion seeds on farms and amateur farms of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Carrots are one of the five main vegetables marketed in Brazil, and the state of Minas Gerais is currently the largest national producer. In the municipality of Carandaí, the importance of carrots is evidenced by the generation of income and employment linked to its production activity. Therefore, the carrot production chain in Carandaí/MG was studied from the perspective of transaction cost economics, since this theory considers the presence of costs associated with market transactions and that these can be minimised by appropriate forms of governance. The study made it possible to identify the governance structure used by producers in the municipality, as well as strategies for reducing transaction costs. In addition, possibilities were presented for better organising the city's production chain in order to reduce transaction costs in ex ante and ex post carrot production activities.

Pesticides are among the main tools used in Brazilian agriculture today. Among the regions of Minas Gerais, the Alto Paranaíba region stands out due to its climate, relief and soil conditions, becoming a major producer and exporter of soya, wheat, maize, beans, coffee, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic and avocados. The irregular and indiscriminate use of pesticides is associated with acute and chronic poisoning. The measurement of biomarkers such as plasma cholinesterase are significant parameters for diagnosing cases of exposure, especially acute exposure. The aim of this study was to assess liver biomarkers (TGO, TGP, GGT and Alkaline Phosphatase) and plasma cholinesterase in workers from the municipalities of São Gotardo, Matutina, Ibiá and Rio Paranaíba in the Alto Paranaíba region. The methodology was divided into the application of a socio-epidemiological questionnaire and the collection of biological material for biochemical analyses from 80 agricultural workers exposed to organophosphates and carbamates, subdivided into 20 workers from each of the four regions and 20 workers not exposed to these products.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the eleventh most common cancer worldwide. Its incidence is 354,864 new cases in 2018.it is the most prevalent of all malignant processes that manifest in the oral cavity representing 90% of all cases. One of the most historically recognized and implemented techniques in staging ,is lateral neck voiding (LNV). This technique has been shown to achieve better results in terms of survival than the "watch and wait" policy, although 70-80% of patients who undergo this technique are exposed to a series of associated postoperative risks, which diminish the patient's quality of life, since they do not present hidden metastatic lymph nodes. On the other hand, the term sentinel node (SN) is defined as the initial node of a chain of lymph nodes that is affected by the dissemination of a primary tumor, so it is the node closest to it. This means that when a cancer spreads to several nodes, the first one in the lymphatic chain will be called the sentinel node.

The analysis of the victim's conduct for the imputation of the crime is a relevant topic that seeks to bring new contours and answers to the classic Theory of Crime. Thus, primarily, the research aims to analyze some aspects of consensual self-placement and hetero-placement at risk, as well as the institute of the offended party's consent, all read (and re-read) through the eyes of the Theory of Objective Imputation proposed by Claus Roxin. Even though it is in its infancy in Brazil, the theme proposed here, which has long been debated in comparative law, aims to renew victim-dogmatic studies and, above all, to present a democratic vision of criminal imputation that can complement the multiple deficiencies that the (in)determination of causality entails.

This paper aims to identify the current situation of the stable union in the Brazilian legal system in the face of controversies and jurisprudential positions, demonstrating the aspects and foundations that designate this new family entity recognized by the Federal Constitution of 1988 in its article 226, § 3 and regulated by Special Laws 8.971/94, 9.278/96 and the Civil Code, as well as pointing out the characteristics that are essential requirements for its recognition. The controversies over the concept of stable union and whether it extends to any and all marital relationships, including homosexual relationships, and what the requirements and rights to be enjoyed by partners in this relationship are, generate legal uncertainty and require specific clarification.

The aim of this work is to reflect on the need for philosophy in education. The lecture is part of a series of works entitled: "The ABC of philosophy for Angola", which investigates the relevance of philosophy to the social and political life of Angolans. It shares the Socratic idea that a life away from philosophy is painful and harmful in the personal and social spheres. The work hopes that Angola will increasingly achieve an education that is backed by philosophy, that is, one that is capable of forming critical, creative, autonomous individuals who love the truth and put the common interest above all other interests. Angola wants to achieve an education that is a voice instead of an echo, that is light instead of shadow. To this end, we have used mainly qualitative research based on structuralist and functionalist methods. As a result of this work, I hope to contribute to the validation of meritocracy, competence, the force of reason and law, to the detriment of the reason of force, the reason of authority and the lack of transparency that has long been felt in education and in our society in general.

Despite the growing use of technology in various areas, there are still some processes that are not computerized and depend entirely on the use of paper and pen. A good example of this situation in our country is the vaccination card.In many health units, the process of recording vaccinations is done using paper forms filled in by hand. This process can lead to inconsistencies and loss of information, which can hinder vaccination coverage in the municipality, vaccine losses and difficulties in obtaining information.With the end user in mind, vaccination records in Brazil are kept on various paper vaccination cards, which are easily damaged and lost. Vaccination is one of the most important and effective ways to prevent many diseases, but it requires centralized records to prevent damage and easy access to be able to check and keep track of the proper vaccine doses you will receive throughout your life.

"Attachment is one of the factors inherent to human development, beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the life cycle. Emotion regulation is a fundamental skill for social interaction, influencing behaviour and emotional expression. It is expected that the quality of attachment is related to the use of emotion regulation strategies and, in this sense, we sought to verify the influence of parental attachment on the use of emotion regulation strategies in adolescents."

Education is the basis of a development process and, in order to achieve greater quality, one of the fundamental factors is the use of technology in teaching and learning mechanisms. In this context, it is the school's mission to prepare for this complex reality in the face of the challenges of technology-mediated education. It is necessary to discuss the issues of internet access, teaching materials, teacher training and public policies in order to identify the main difficulties faced by teachers, students and technicians in the face of these mechanisms. In this study, the author presents an analysis of "the use of technology to improve the quality of public education", reflecting on the mismatch in the insertion of these technologies into the classroom in public schools.

September 19, 2021 marked the centennial of the First National Exhibition of Popular Arts held in Mexico. One hundred years of complex and complicated academic work and institutional practice on the handcrafted object and those who create it. One hundred years that went practically unnoticed; oblivion caused, perhaps, because both the academic work and the discourse of the Mexican State that recognizes, since then, the handcrafted object as an element of national identity, as part of the country's cultural heritage and the economic sustenance of thousands of families in the countryside and cities, contrasts drastically with its real development and the living conditions of those who create handcrafted objects.

The recommendation to start using antiretrovirals early has shown great benefits, leading to an increase in morbidity and mortality and a reduction in the transmission of infection. The general aim of this study was therefore to report on antiretroviral treatment and resistance through a systematic review. All publications with data on antiretroviral treatment and resistance, scientific publications, between a certain date (2017-2021) were used. The viral mutations were named according to the consensus of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, using the sequencing of subtype B as a parameter, thus using the letter of the amino acid followed by the codon (gene locus) adding the letter of the new amino acid. In Brazil, the main mutagenic patterns identified with the highest prevalence are K70R, M184V, and T215F/Y, and sporadically L210W, Q151M, Y115F, G333D/E, F116Y, L74I.

The teaching of grammar in secondary education in general has been one of the most discussed aspects of language teaching. Among other controversial issues, it is questioned whether its teaching improves students' communicative competence. In this paper we will argue that the notion of CONSTITUENT contributes to the good development of the students' linguistic competence insofar as it makes visible one of the mechanisms that language has to articulate the relationship between form (syntax) and meaning (semantics). It is also understood that, in order to achieve this purpose, the approach to grammar at school must be reflexive, pedagogical and implicit. The ultimate goal of this research is thus twofold. On the one hand, a reflective model of grammar teaching is defended; on the other hand, an example of what this type of teaching can be like is offered through the concept of CONSTITUENT. The consequences of this approach are twofold: linguistic reflection and this notion lead the learner to understand the relationships between semantics and syntax, and, therefore, to believe that he/she understands texts better; and meaningful learning.

The District attaches great importance to the resolutions that will emerge from this workshop, in order to firmly establish its new vision for the management of the Haut-Uélé District and its economic development.I therefore urge all the participants here present to be more self-sacrificing, serious and assiduous, so that each one can give the best of himself, in terms of professional experience and knowledge; for the successful conclusion of the work of this workshop.With this in mind, I hereby declare the Haut-Uélé Local Economic Stakeholders' Concertations workshop open, with a view to the holding of the "Orientale Province open for business" Round Table, and I wish you a good and convivial working session.

This book looks at full-time public schools from the perspective of a case study at the Amélia Issa Full-Time Education Centre. The policy of extending the school day was introduced in the 1950s by Anísio Teixeira and has been in the educational policy arena since 2001 with the approval of the National Education Plan. Many of the experiences discussed in this work point to various problems with the operation of full-time public institutions, including the loss of the school's identity, the silence of teachers, as the institution becomes closed to liaison with the family and community, and the dualism that exists between learning and welfare. In this book we problematise the school from three perspectives: the public school from a documentary analysis, from the observed reality and from the perspectives of parents and teachers with a view to provoking reflections on improving this public policy.

A coprological examination carried out on a sample of goats showed a highly diversified internal polyparasitism, with an overall infestation rate of 81% for the local breed versus 66% for the alpine breed, and identified 5 nematodes respectively: Trichostrongylus colubriformis (52.50% and 41.66%), Skrjabinema ovis (42.50% and 30% ),Trichuris ovis (23.33% and 19.16%) , Nematodirus spathiger (18.33% and 13.33%), Haemonchus contortus (15.83% and 14.16%), 1 Cestode Moniezia expansa (19.16% and 17.50%), 1 Trematode: Paramphistomum cervi (20% and 15%) and 2 protozoan Coccidia: Eimeria caprovina (65% and 51.66%) and Eimeria ovina (9.16% and 5%).Overall, the dynamics and biotypological structure of parasitic populations collected by coprology in Capra hircus is marked by a decreasing gradient of infestation from winter to summer. Likewise, a typical spatial distribution according to the conditions and husbandry practices of the circles studied, which are at the origin of the infestation rate and parasite load observed in the Beni Tajjit circles.

Industries are under great pressure from environmental organisations regarding the use of cutting fluids, since they cause severe damage to the environment and to human beings. In view of this problem, new technologies are being sought to reduce or even eliminate this damage. Dry machining and the Minimum Amount of Cutting Fluid technique are good alternatives due to the elimination or reduction of cutting fluid. This paper presents some technological, environmental and economic aspects of dry machining and the MQF technique. Dry machining shows few encouraging results in terms of technological aspects, due to the great importance of the benefits added by cutting fluids to processes. On the other hand, its economic and environmental aspects are very promising, given the reduction in costs linked to obtaining the fluid, as well as its maintenance, which does not exist in dry machining. The MQF technique, on the other hand, appears to be a middle ground, although it has presented some interesting aspects. Some researchers say that the use of these two techniques requires further research in order to achieve success in machining.

The objective of this research is to determine the applicability or not of the constitutional and universal rights of equality and non-discrimination in same-sex marriage. It is a descriptive, exploratory, legal, doctrinal, jurisprudential and comparative study of the sentences of the Constitutional Court of Ecuador: Sentence N.- 10-18-CN/19, Judge Rapporteur: Alí Lozada Prado (Same-sex marriage); Ruling N.- 11-18-CN/19, Reporting Judge: Ramiro Ávila Santamaría (Equal Marriage). In conclusion, following the line of argument of David Cameron, (Prime Minister of Great Britain), "every conservative values institutionality and commitment above many things, it is human bonds and the construction of these that consolidate us as a society and the legalization of equal marriage not only encourages the construction of bonds between same-sex couples but also enables a tolerant and vindicating commitment between the majority society and a population group that has undeniably been discriminated and segregated over the years".

Aggregation stability is a fundamental property for promoting the health and proper functioning of terrestrial ecosystems. This property is related to the soil's ability to keep its particles aggregated, forming a pore structure that favors water infiltration, root development and reduces soil loss through erosion. However, anthropogenic activities such as fires, due to their high intensity, are capable of significantly impacting soil characteristics. In order to reduce the occurrence of forest fires, the use of prescribed burning is a common practice in Portugal. Due to its lower intensity and duration, its impacts are usually less on the soil.

The author has undeservedly entrusted me with this brief foreword. Perhaps because he has seen me publish a few reviews of books in the social sciences. It is always a complicated approach. The rule in our society is that of reciprocal ignorance. If I have accepted this exercise, it is because I see another generation dawning in this text, less prone to enclose itself in chapels and closed circles (Hugo Neira Samanez, sociologist).

This intervention program aims to introduce a new methodology with the incorporation of new ICT resources in Primary Education classrooms as a support in the teaching-learning process, considering that, currently the use of mobile devices, such as Tablet, are tools with many advantages that help to build new knowledge, as well as to promote meaningful learning in students. In addition, motivation and attention increase as children experience new ways of learning that are more playful and dynamic. On the other hand, the teacher has the opportunity to leave behind the traditional method, offering the opportunity to innovate in their work. During the program we will see the advantages and disadvantages they present, as well as a series of sessions for the beginning of the introduction of mobile technologies in the classroom.

Constitutional Mutation, i.e. the informal changing of the text of the constitution, has been an increasingly present phenomenon in the Brazilian legal system, above all as a result of the Supreme Court's constantly changing position, which has brought a range of consequences to the legal system. The main objective of this work, which was carried out through extensive bibliographical research, is to analyze the effects of Interpretative Constitutional Mutation operated by the Federal Supreme Court, as well as to establish the parameters to be observed by the Supreme Court when resorting to this institute. Due to the binding nature of its decisions, the position of the Supreme Court has the power to change the legal situation and existing social realities, while according to its understanding it can create or restrict rights. However, the STF's actions are not unlimited and cannot lead to an interpretation that is contrary to the legal system. They must comply with the limits imposed by the normative program and others not provided for in it, otherwise their actions will be considered unconstitutional and illegitimate.

The circumstances that present themselves in our daily lives often put us in the position of the ostrich who, when faced with danger, prefers to bury its head in the ground rather than face it. In this vein, it's common to hear many citizens (even the most enlightened academics) say: 'I don't like politics - that's why they don't give their opinion. They seem to be right, but that's not all. This is the position we want to reflect on. The country needs cadres, trained citizens with solid, mature knowledge, capable of facing up to external threats and challenges, especially from more developed countries (not vulnerable men who surrender in confrontation with the ideologies of the world's great powers). This attitude does not free us from external political attacks, whose bosses want to dominate the space - the states. The ideal is to avoid neo-colonialism, i.e. to be prepared to face it, to look at the facts objectively, i.e. to rise to the occasion. When someone says they don't like politics, unconsciously they are already playing politics, because what they want is to find people of their style who support their opinions.

This work aims to investigate how the praxis of psycho-pedagogy can be an important tool in public education. The topic addresses a reality faced by many teachers when they come across students who have learning difficulties and don't know what to do. This research was carried out with the teachers who make up the teaching staff of a public primary and secondary school in Fortaleza. The aim was to investigate whether teachers are able to deal with learning difficulties in the classroom, what level of knowledge teachers have about learning difficulties and what kind of intervention the school carries out with students with learning difficulties. The methodology used is a qualitative approach and the technique used to collect data was a semi-structured questionnaire made up of six questions.
