"Attachment is one of the factors inherent to human development, beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the life cycle. Emotion regulation is a fundamental skill for social interaction, influencing behaviour and emotional expression. It is expected that the quality of attachment is related to the use of emotion regulation strategies and, in this sense, we sought to verify the influence of parental attachment on the use of emotion regulation strategies in adolescents."
