Yes, as Luis Hornstein says in the introduction, a psychoanalyst is a trajectory that is possible to observe in his own journey - through Theory of Ideologies and Psychoanalysis (1973), Psychoanalytic Cure and Sublimation (1988), Psychoanalytic Practice and History (1993) and Narcissism (2000); The Depressions (2006), Self-esteem and identity (2011), The current crossroads of psychoanalysis (2013), Being an analyst today (2018); a set of elaborations that allow us to glimpse his way of conceiving psychoanalytic practice. How to build a contemporary psychoanalysis, open to exchanges with other disciplines and to the challenge imposed by each socio-cultural conjuncture, without losing specificity and rigour? This work shows the panorama of a post-Freudian and post-Lacanian psychoanalysis whose critical pluralism depends on an insertion in a clinic that resists a globalisation that seeks to dilute the socio-historical conditions of the actual practice of psychoanalysis. Written in a clear and fluid style, but without falling into simplifications, this work will be an indispensable contribution for the health professions.

The fight by institutions to maintain good eating habits, by changing the school menu, campaigning and guiding parents, has great enemies in the fast-food chains, manufacturers of snacks and sweets. This is called "junk food", i.e. food that tastes good but isn't nutritious or healthy. The number of overweight children is increasing in Brazil and there is no doubt that this will become a major public health problem. Guidance has to come from home, as parents often don't realise that bad daily eating habits are passed on to their children, making it increasingly difficult to change them. Ideally, parents should create proper meals with lots of fruit, salads, vegetables and little fat, as well as avoiding keeping biscuits, crackers, snacks, fatty cheeses, chocolates and anything that is high in fat and calories at home (PARISI, 2004).

The author, Abbé Eugène Halerimana, shows his determination to write his book from its main objective, that of assessing the contribution of the message of peace of the star artists who perform at the Festival Amani through the Foyer Culturel de Goma in the transformation of conflicts in Eastern DR Congo. In order to reinforce its general objective, it presents the following specific objectives: to analyze the public's reactions to the role of the activities of the Amani Festival through the Foyer Culturel de Goma; to identify the challenges faced by the participants during the Amani Festival; to propose strategies so that the message of peace is better given and understood during the activities of the Amani Festival through the Foyer Culturel de Goma.Reading its first chapter, entitled Conceptual foundations and theoretical framework, the following paragraph caught our attention: the role of music in our traumatized societies is that of therapy. Some revolutionary music that conveys messages of peace can transform conflicts, even ideological ones that are difficult to control in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In today's world, schools, especially in places with a low human development index, can become a factory that imports, resinifies and exports new forms of violence to society in an endless cycle. In order to separate this snake that bites its own tail, in this manuscript I propose systematised violence as a pedagogical tool and possible vaccine to combat the endemic violence in schools. To do this, it was necessary to analyse some of the pillars of this phenomenon, such as the influence of students' family groups and boredom on the increase in violence within schools. In order to understand this scenario, the qualitative methodological resource used was a case study, using observations, focus groups, semi-structured interviews and life stories as research techniques. Far from bringing the subject to a close, the intention of this project is to provoke reflections on new proposals for reducing school violence, from a new perspective.

The Ashaninka people were formerly known as CAMPA by some linguists, anthropologists and some other foreign researchers who, without any respect, using their accelerated research to give them this name, a term that for the people themselves was strongly derogatory and insulting. The mentioned people inhabit more than 7 regions of Peru, a people strongly violated first by the so called conquests and discoverers of savages in South America; however more than that conquest were attempts of extermination, including the famous conquests of evangelism as of the Jesuits, followed by the company of PERU CORPORATION among other great abusers. These people came to demonstrate their own way of life, rich in culture and spiritual cosmovision and great ancestral knowledge that until now no science can compare, especially medicine and other knowledge. Likewise the great strategies of struggles as knowledge inherited from generation to generation, in this small but valuable text will be for those who really want to know about this mysterious people.

The aim of this study was to analyse the layout of a paint and chemical products warehouse at a multinational company and propose a redesign of this physical arrangement in order to offer solutions to the problems faced by the company. To this end, an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory study was carried out, using on-site observations at the company under investigation as the primary data source, as well as an interview (via video call) with an analyst from the sector studied. Microsoft Excel and Google SketchUp software were also used to help process the data and develop the proposal. After recording and analysing the data, it was found that the layout originally found in the warehouse did not have a functional flow, nor did it favour the FIFO method. In the proposed model, the layout was restructured, creating a flow of supply and withdrawal of raw materials that allows the FIFO method to be fully implemented, offering gains in storage capacity, as well as reducing costs due to waste.

This book is the product of my Master's dissertation, which was presented to the Postgraduate Programme of the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. It was born out of some questions raised during my professional career as a psychologist in a public psychiatric hospital in the state of Minas Gerais. In this emergency and inpatient psychiatric service, which is also a teaching hospital and constitutes a space for research, some theoretical-clinical impasses were posed in our clinical practice, which motivated us to confront some existing foundations and diagnostic guidelines in the psychoanalytic field.

Ce livre présente diverses méthodes d'analyse des accidents et de mesure des risques dans les opérations de transport par voies navigables intérieures et côtières, en utilisant les routes du bassin du delta du Niger, au Nigeria, comme étude de cas. Il démontre en outre l'application des méthodes d'évaluation contingente (CVM) pour révéler les préférences des utilisateurs du transport par voies navigables, en ce qui concerne les prestations de services/ infrastructures et le coût d'opportunité correspondant. Le livre met également l'accent sur les fondements théoriques et conceptuels de l'accident et du risque, et donne ensuite un aperçu des moyens d'améliorer l'occurrence des accidents et de minimiser l'exposition au risque des voyages par voie d'eau.

This volume is part of the Development Studies collection. This collection is a product of the academic activities developed by the PPGDR - Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programme in Regional Development - Master's and Doctorate. In this paper we will address Walter Benjamin's philosophical use of allegory, its peculiarity and relevance. We argue that it is through allegorical images that it is possible to think and think (us) in a different way. A way that perhaps succeeds in subtracting itself from a world that is increasingly reifying and reifying, that places philosophy in a pendulum with art or artistic forms, in such a way that their dialogue is not only fruitful but eminently necessary. A dialogue in which allegorical signification cannot make sense (or make no sense) without philosophical reflection, and in which philosophical reflection would lose its richness if there were no allegorical figures. Allegory is a resource which, as we shall see throughout this paper, has been used since time immemorial, in a variety of ways and with substantial philosophical-political implications. Benjamin's special emphasis on this resource is linked to a form of philosophising and political praxis that allows him to configure a conceptual framework of history, time, art, perception, memory, subjects and objects that is completely different from previous approaches.

In this work, Juan Francisco Sanjuán Benito presents a brief portrait of Cardinal Cisneros, describing his image from different angles of the cardinal's life. He begins with his humble origins in Torrelaguna (Madrid), passing through his eventful and long life until his last breaths in the town of Roa (Burgos). During the 15th and 16th centuries it was very difficult to rise socially in Spain. If you were born a lackey, you died a lackey, but Cisneros broke all the parapets that existed in that society to keep you subject to the class into which you were born, reaching the head of the two most important estates in Spain at that time, the archiepiscopal seat of Toledo with the primacy of Spain and the cardinal's hat; and the post of regent of the kingdom on two occasions, the first after the death of Philip I of Castile until the return of Ferdinand the Catholic from Naples, and the second after the death of Ferdinand the Catholic until the arrival of Charles I in Spain.

The author brings María Zambrano's thought into dialogue with the theoretical approaches of the three waves of feminism that have been developing in Western societies since the Seneca Falls Declaration in 1848 up to the present day. The suffragette movements, the feminism of equality and the feminism of difference are debated. The problems of equality, egalitarianism and freedom are combined with reflections on the metaphysical being of women.

The work corresponds to a longitudinal study on the application of different didactic models applied at the upper secondary level in the baccalaureate of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, observing the learning achievements of students through standardised tests throughout the application of the models, linking this vision with the international standardised tests PISA and comparing the results of these tests with the education that in general is offered at the Upper Secondary Level, carrying out an inductive analysis of the educational level that Mexico has reached at the Upper Secondary Level in the last 15 years.

In pollen viability studies, the determination of pollen grain fertility can be investigated using direct and indirect methods, which involve methodologies in the field or in a laboratory environment in an attempt to predict what happens in the flower. Each technique allows for the interpretation of pollen fertility and, almost always, a combination of them guarantees a more accurate estimate of viability.

Pediatric anesthesia presents many particularities that may seem rather difficult for new anesthesia interns. Indeed, children present a variety of pathophysiological particularities. For pedagogical purposes, we have tried to present in this practical manual the anesthesia protocols of the Sfax pediatric surgery department in Tunisia. The book presents a brief theoretical review, with examples of easy procedures.

Today, digital technologies play an important role in people's daily lives. Through these media, not only is access to various types of information and training made possible, but also new forms of communication are established. In this sense, older people have seen the need to get involved in these learning processes and to face the current world through contact with these new tools. This paper shows the main motivations that lead older adults to use social networks, as well as the significance that these media have in interpersonal relationships. Older adults from the province of San Luis, Argentina participated in the study.

Sewage treatment is an important stage in guaranteeing the preservation of the planet's water resources for future generations. The wetlands system, or cultivated beds or constructed wetlands, has emerged as a new technology to allow waste to be purified and to ensure that new intelligent ways of reusing sewage sources treated by the alternative system - wetlands - are introduced.

The main objective of this research is to examine the electronic litigation procedure in the arbitration of state contracts with regard to the protection of consumer rights. The text is divided into two parts. The first part presents the changes in administrative litigation procedures in Colombia and some Latin American countries in the last decade of the 20th century. The first chapter examines the innovations in administrative law in Colombia and the second chapter points out some basic aspects of electronic law compared to countries such as Chile, Argentina and Spain. The second part of the research aims to describe arbitration in state contracting within the framework of Colombian legislation on electronic procedures. Firstly, the historical background of arbitration is examined, followed by an approximation of state contracts with the application of ICTs, and finally, the protection of consumer rights in arbitration in state contracts is analysed.

The impact of technology on everyday life has brought about significant changes, understandable for the young, turbulent for the old. Today, technology is undermining many trades and overturning age-old paradigms. Voices are rising! Women are demanding the right to participate as equals in shaping the future. Organised groups advocate for children's rights. Religious leaderships crack. Equality and freedom are at stake. No one doubts that technology is 'redefining the human being of the 21st century': what values do we want, what role will artificial intelligence play, should we limit the use of technology, will we turn to saving our planet, or will we look to the cosmos for a place to seed life? The future is unpredictable, we are creating new ways of living together for the new age. The dominance of technology is leaving negative trails, loneliness lurks, happiness metamorphoses. We will analyse the above, focusing the emphasis on the fact that fortunately the desire to live in society and to be happy still prevails in homo sapiens!

Martial deficiency affects at-risk population groups (pregnant women and infants) in both developed and developing countries. In Algeria, the extent of the problem is not well known, as studies are rare and assessment tools, such as biochemical indicators, are unreliable.Objectives - to determine the prevalence of martial deficiency in children aged 0-5 years in the city of Batna, to study its repercussions on the child's physical and psychomotor development, and to evaluate appropriate treatment and preventive measures.In a sample of 354 children aged zero to five in the city of Batna, we measured serum ferritin, haemoglobin and transferrin receptors, analysed the clinical signs of deficiency and assessed the children's growth and psychomotor development. The deficient children received an iron-based treatment. Checks were carried out at the end of the iron treatment.

This is yet another release of my academic work, the fruit of my pedagogical praxis. I've been teaching for nearly 30 years now and I can already present a harvest of evidence, in a country where educating is a battle against the barrage of successive governments without long-term planning, where politicking is worth more than technical character. That's why I present to you the new frontier of education today: meaningful learning through the promotion of didactic competence and skill.

This issue brings together a series of articles on issues related to teaching practice and the teaching resources used in the classroom, especially when teaching biology content. The theme of this book covers the context of new information and communication technologies in contemporary society and their application in teaching and learning processes. It also portrays the importance of solid teacher training, which leads to the full formation of critical-reflective subjects. Given this scenario, this work also presents the perspectives on the use of didactic models as a pedagogical tool for learning, thinking about teaching practices in biology. The aim is to disturb educators so that they realise the importance of an innovative teaching practice, which must be constantly reconstructed.

Twenty-five operas from the great repertoire (mainly French and Germanic), from the 18th/19th c., from Gluck to Strauss, via Donizetti and Gounod, etc. Thirty years of collaborations (1980-2010) with renowned institutions (Deutsche Grammophon, Salzburger Festspiele, Avant-Scène Opéra, Fondazione Cini, Venezia, etc.).This is a dramaturgical study, i.e. all the text and context that enable us to better understand a particular opera, but also opera in general. Opera as a genre, with its evolving rules, social context, public reception and so on. So why are we still so interested in this genre-ultra-artificial but ultra-attractive opera, to the extent that it has become, for example, a marker of development and globalization? The answer is in the book.

Our study was descriptive, using a quantitative approach, with a questionnaire inspired by Salamé Pascale to assess knowledge, and a questionnaire by Donald Morisky (MMAS: Morisky Medication Adherence Scale) on therapeutic compliance. The sample comprised 64 patients with a mean age of 58.08, predominantly female (76.6%). The average level of overall knowledge was 73.44%. Only 34.38% had an average level of compliance. The low rate of good compliance among our patients reflects the inadequacy of therapeutic education carried out at the start of treatment. The implementation of a standardized education program for all patients could improve patient knowledge and systematically offer patients treated with levothyroxine a therapeutic information session on their treatment.

The capacity of some strains of coagulase-negative Staphylococcus to produce biofilm has been considered by some authors as an index of virulence and serves to differentiate them from contaminating strains. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between biofilm production and clinical-epidemiological variables, as well as to compare the effectiveness of the congo red agar medium for its diagnosis with the one conventionally used in our laboratory. For this purpose, an observational, analytical and cross-sectional study was carried out during the period January-December 2012 in the Microbiology laboratory of the "Saturnino Lora" Provincial Hospital. The universe consisted of 107 strains of coagulase-negative staphylococcus that grew in catheter and blood culture samples from patients admitted to the Intensive Care, Cardiology, Nephrology and Cardiocenter wards; for the detection of biofilm, the congo red agar medium and the mucus test were applied. It is concluded that coagulase-negative staphylococcus infection is frequent in these patients, that in them advanced age, the presence of coagulase-negative staphylococcus and especially diabetes mellitus are factors to be taken into account. It was demonstrated that congo red agar medium, due to its simplicity, high sensitivity and specificity, can be added to the diagnostic arsenal of our laboratories for the detection of biofilm.

In the state of nature, says Rousseau, man's life was essentially animal. The harsh existence of the forests made him robust, agile, with keen senses and little susceptibility to diseases, most of which are born of civilised life. His intellectual activity in these times was nil: "the man who meditates is a depraved animal". Living like this, man was happy and his only passions were natural instincts, easily satisfied (thirst, hunger, sexual reproduction, preservation). This is, in fact, the crux of Rousseau's argument: nature did not destine primitive man for life in society.

Throughout time, society has been involved in a process of continuous change, adopting or transforming customs, traditions, habits of living, interaction and the way of dressing and speaking, just as new technologies are advancing, human beings are also consciously evolving. Despite globalisation, today there are people who do not agree with these changes because they influence their cultural identity and therefore one of the conduits that incite these changes is the media, which handle various types of journalism that are used in each content they disseminate.
