Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (WHO, 1946). Any aspect, which impairs the balance in these three spheres, has a direct impact on the health of individuals. This study presents the situational diagnosis of health made to the students of the Telesecundaria del Ejido de Copalita school, where numerous health problems were found in the students and their families.

Starting from the analysis of theories on the social contract, this work, based on data, information and works of a theoretical and scientific nature, makes a connection with the contemporary State and the influence of Law on the formation and organisation of society. It also studies the origins and exponent theories on economics, as well as their repercussion on government policies and on the notion of collectivism and individualism. The approach involves liberalism, Keynes, neoliberalism, globalisation, taking into account non-intervention and its effects, among other aspects, but which are closely related to law. Finally, the importance and position of law in the organisation and formation of the state and society is studied. It is observed that the Law is essential in the constitution of both, as well as its orientation towards development, and therefore precedes the economy, assisting the State in determining policies and means that provide care for all the individuals that compose it. On the other hand, contemporary law faces new challenges in the face of the relations and expressions of societies in relation to state organisations, in the manifest globalisation.

The study consists of characterising the socioeconomic aspects of cassava production systems in the district of Boa Esperança, located in the municipality of Santarém-Pará. The field research was conducted from May 2016 to March 2017 with farmers who grow cassava. Data were collected through interviews guided by a semi-structured questionnaire with open and closed questions on the socioeconomic aspects of agricultural establishments and on the agricultural practices developed in the cultivation of cassava. The results show that the farmers interviewed have an average age of 44 years, about schooling, 40% of respondents have incomplete primary education, and the family income comes from the sale of agricultural products. The main varieties of cassava grown by the interviewees are Bem-te-vi, Amarelona, Olho-de-boto, Pretinha, Pretona, Piraíba and Boiuna, whose manioc seeds come from the field itself, from exchanges between neighbours and with producers from other communities and from donations made by extension workers and researchers.

Tomato paste is a product made exclusively from fresh, ripe, healthy tomatoes of the Lycopersicum esculentum species. It is a widely consumed product that is highly vulnerable to fungal spoilage. Chemical products are the most widely used technique, because they are easy to apply. However, the intensive use of these products poses health risks, which is why we decided to replace them with natural preservatives. In this context, we evaluated the in vitro antifungal activity of the essential oil extracted from the zest of Citrus limon of two varieties by hydrodistillation and cold pressing, and applied it to tomato concentrate. From the results of the statistical analysis, we can conclude that the variety has no influence either on the yield or on the antifungal activity of the oils, unlike the extraction method, which does have an influence on these two parameters. On the basis of this study, we can conclude that lemon essential oil appears to be suitable as a preservative in tomato paste.

In view of the premise that human beings are holders of humanity, a characteristic inherent to their condition, Fraternal Law is thought of as, more than a thesis or a theory, a possible solution to the problem of child and youth vulnerability. The implications of the distancing from society, the community and the State (impersonal), implies systemic violence to all the rights to which this category is subject. Therefore, the neglect of the care of this population must be welcomed and faced as a challenge and as a duty of all, together, as if we were one body.

The present work aims to know how playfulness, as a teaching technique, is contributing to a better development of modern education and, especially, to improve the learning of the contents treated in the discipline of Chemistry. The methodology used for the elaboration of this work was based on bibliographical research and field research. The latter consisted of a survey of data through the application of a questionnaire, seeking to know the opinions of the students regarding the approach of a content using a playful activity, and to compare the level of understanding acquired by the students with its realisation. The playful activity was developed from easily accessible materials with 22 third-year high school students from a public school in Crateús. From the results obtained with the application of the activity, we realise that the game can substantially assist the teaching and learning process in Chemistry Teaching.

The caterpillars Anticarsia gemmatalis and Chrysodeixis includens are pests in several agricultural crops, including soybeans, causing losses of up to 100%. Thus, the integrated management with agrochemicals and fungi can guarantee a better response in the field, in addition to the reduction of agrochemicals and, consequently, the impacts caused by them. However, there is a lack of studies regarding the compatibility of agrochemicals with entomopathogenic fungi when used together in integrated pest management. In view of the above, the present study aimed to evaluate the specificity and bioinsecticidal capacity of B. bassiana (URM2915) and B. brongniartii (URM6504) under the effect of agrochemicals on A. gemmatalis and C. includens, in vitro.

ANALYSIS is a TOOL at the service of researchers, producers, consumers and legislators. This tool is used to monitor the entire life cycle of a product, from design to disposal, and is also used to study the biogeochemical cycles of endogenous and exogenous species, elements or substances, i.e. their behavior in natural environments and living organisms. ANALYSIS is therefore the frame of reference used to objectively determine the QUALITY of a material or environment, in the broadest sense of the term.Analysis is a succession of stages: sampling (programming and taking) + storage (preservation of samples) + pre-treatment of samples (purification, extraction, concentration, etc.) + separation of species and measurements (detection, identification, quantification) + structural studies + interpretation of results (statistical processing of data, validation of techniques, etc.).

History in Africa has been a fundamental part of society for generations. In recent years, research has shown that orality is the basis of African historical sources. As a result, much of the information obtained on African history is second-hand. However, archaeology has played a major role in the reconstruction of African history. In fact, many Africanist archaeologists have worked on Africa, such as Professor Raymond Mauny (1912-1994), who did most of his work in Africa. Our task is resolutely to list the work of this eminent professor on the African Middle Ages, and to stipulate the explicit nature of his methodology.

Margarine is an agricultural by-product obtained by centrifugation or sedimentation of the oil after olive pressing. It is generally discharged into the environment as it is. This has a negative impact on the environment. In the context of bioremediation, the aim of our work is to assess the physico-chemical and microbiological quality of the 3 types of margines in order to determine their degree of pollution, from different regions of Algeria: Tizi Ouzou, Jijel and Bejaïa. The results of the physico-chemical analyses showed that the margines from the different regions have an acid pH and are rich in organic matter, expressed as BOD5 and COD. These discharges are also characterised by the predominance of toxic substances, in particular phenolic compounds, with values ranging from 10.68 g/l in the Jijel region to up to 27.7 g/l in the Jijel region, which give them antimicrobial properties. The COD/BOD5 test is higher than 2.80 for all regions, which clearly underlines the biodegradable nature of these margines, for which biological treatment would appear to be entirely appropriate.

This study analysed the insertion of students of the Full Degree in Chemistry of the Faculty of Teacher Training of Mata Sul de Pernambuco / Brazil. Aspects related to teaching practice were identified and analysed; meaningful learning; production of scientific articles and their implications and also the scientific production of students of the Full Degree in Chemistry of the Faculty of Teacher Training of Mata Sul de Pernambuco/Brazil. In view of the results found, it was realised that it is within the pedagogical perspective that involves the production of scientific articles as a significant learning contribution so that there is a priority insertion of undergraduate students in Full Degree in Chemistry in research and publication projects, participation in congress proceedings in order to improve qualities desired in a higher education professional in any area of professional training, as well as to motivate and initiate the training of those who have a marked tendency for research.

Chronic renal failure (CRF), and in particular hemodialysis, has a major impact on several areas of patients' lives. Sexuality is one of the areas most affected. Despite the high frequency of DS sexual dysfunctions, this problem is still a taboo subject, rarely discussed between the two partners, and rarely broached with the attending physician. In this context, we conducted a descriptive and analytical study including 100 hemodialysis patients in four dialysis centers in the governorate of Monastir, with the following objectives:¿ Screen for sexual dysfunction in patients with chronic renal failure at the hemodialysis stage.¿ Establish correlations between the clinico-biological aspect of CKD and SD and identify its main risk factors.

Weekend tourism on Senegal's Petite Côte differs from international tourism in terms of its temporary nature, the geographical origins of the tourists (most of whom come from Dakar), the frequent commuting that takes place, and the reasons for staying, which are often related to rest. These movements are facilitated by the road network and Toubab Djalaw's proximity to urban centers. The area is also characterized by the installation of very modern second homes, whose architecture and equipment reflect a globalized world. These second homes are densely spread out along the seafront, reducing the village land area by their sheer size. From 47ha in 2005, their occupation had risen to 112.02ha by 2010. They are favored by land speculation and are a handicap for livestock farming and agriculture. They tend to be set up as main residences, given the many assets of the locality. This book presents an exhaustive analysis of the Islamic urban planning of the city of Badajoz, present-day Extremadura (Spain). Specifically, the publication analyzes the current road system, the historical and ancient cartographic documentation with the aim, first of all, to reconstruct the Islamic road system of the city and, secondly, to shed some light on the problem of medieval Islamic urbanism that has been historically presented to us as chaotic and anarchic when in fact its characteristics must be deciphered through its adaptive capacities that are more organic than premeditated.

This book is the logical sequel to the first volume devoted to the Synoptic Gospels. It looks at the questioning language of Jesus in the fourth Gospel, the text of which has aroused much passion over the centuries. In comparison with the synoptics, John's Gospel takes a completely different approach to the Lord: in the prologue (1.1ff), he is presented first and foremost as the Logos of God. Throughout the first four verses, the Logos (Word) successively designates eternity, which is placed at the beginning of time (¿¿ ¿¿¿¿); then there is talk of the Logos participating in the work of creation with an extension in the work of redemption. Finally, the Logos reveals the relationship that from all times existed between him (a celestial being) and humanity, up to the moment when he himself appeared as a member of this race . Such a presentation recalls the text of Genesis 1, where we find exactly the same expression "in the beginning" or Bereshît.

This methodological booklet is adapted in line with the inclinations of French methodology according to Tijeskens and the Sesam approach. In view of some of the weaknesses of the above-mentioned booklets, we believe in the active or participative method, which puts the learner at the center of his or her training. Since the learner is the main actor in the learning process, he deserves to be facilitated and guided. After all, teaching a learner means first and foremost guiding him or her to discover his or her own interests in a didactic sequence.

This study analyses the change in the perception of dental students when attending patients with disabilities (PwD). This is a longitudinal study carried out at the beginning and end of the semester through a questionnaire with 65 students of the 9th period of the Dentistry Course at UFPE. The data were studied, compared and submitted to statistical tests giving rise to tables. Positive feelings and favourable reactions were predominant. However, there are still negative situations that can be minimised, according to the interviewees, through more scientific knowledge and clinical experience of specific care for PwD. A reflection of the appreciation of this knowledge can be seen in the change in perception regarding the needs for a professional career in this speciality, which has become more of a training than a vocation.

Recently, there has been a great deal of interest in the notion of sociocriticism and contact between cultures. Writers attempt to present societies within their literary productions by citing their rites, myths and traditions through several elements present in literary works such as space and characters.This study aims to examine the relationship between space and cultures through the characters, based on the description in TOUNSI Youcef's novel entitled "RHAPSODIE DES CONCERTANTS".In this novel, TOUNSI Youcef, with the help of his fictional and real characters, was able to criticise Arab-Algerian society with its modest Bedouin side.Our hypotheses confirm that TOUNSI's choice of space is no accident, as it reveals a great cultural wealth.

The town of Fombap is part of the Mbo plain. It lies between 5°18' and 5°20'15'' north latitude and 9°58'30'' and 10°01'30'' east longitude. This study, carried out in Fombap, analysed the factors responsible for flooding in the area, with the aim of drawing up a map of areas at risk of flooding. The results of this work showed that the natural conditions of this environment, coupled with human activity, are very favourable to the flooding process. From a geomorphological point of view, the Fombap locality consists mainly of flat land with slopes varying from slight (0 to 5°) to steep (26 to 37°). Geotechnically, the soil texture is dominated by sand (13 to 61%) and clay (27 to 41%). Thus, sandy soils encourage a rapid rise in the water table, while very clayey soils make them impermeable, resulting in intense run-off. In hydrological terms, rainfall is high (2413mm) and falls very suddenly over very long periods (March to October).

Using a new approach, both vernacular and scientific, integrated into the Multimedia GIS prototype, the aim is to respond to the main hypothesis underpinning all this research: the principle of co-management can reduce the vulnerability of pastoral populations living in UNESCO-labeled territories.This vulnerability is greater today because of climate change. For this reason, we have chosen to focus on Morocco's RBA, as it bears witness to anthropic pressure on the natural environment. What contribution can Multimedia GIS make to the co-management of pastoral resources and innovation in UNESCO-labeled territories?

The author analyzes and deciphers a number of public health issues from a clinical perspective. Depressive illness is understood as a trans-structural affect rather than a symptom. It is understood as a phenomenon that escapes the unconscious elaboration of a lost subject embodying, with its liquefied body, the reactivation of the object of its original loss. This book offers a rigorous and enlightening reading of mental disorders, explaining the psychic mechanisms at work in each clinical category: psychic disorders produced by the unconscious of a human subject subjected to the power of words, or elementary phenomena beyond meaning arising from the open-air unconscious of a human subject subjected to mental automatisms. It presents a clinical approach to psychic disorders, whether disabling or not, developed in the practice or in the day-to-day work of hospital carers and medical-social support staff, which can be used to improve the tools of care and psychological support for patients with major life difficulties.

For a long time, surgery was the main and only therapeutic weapon for tuberculosis, before the emergence of antibacillaries. Today, treatment is essentially medical. Although surgery is becoming increasingly rare in the treatment of TBC, it remains a therapeutic option in view of the emergence of multi-resistant bacterial forms and persistent tuberculosis sequelae. Surgery may be indicated for diagnostic (puncture, biopsy) or therapeutic (drainage, excision, resection) purposes. In addition, the increasing incidence of HIV immunodepression and the risk of recurrence of TBC represent a topical issue for thoracic surgery. Over the past 30 years, thoracic surgery has greatly evolved, with less invasive and more sophisticated techniques now available, such as video-assisted surgery. For patients requiring surgery, multidisciplinary management is essential. Coordination between the anesthetist, surgeon and pulmonologist is essential.

A large volume of agro-industrial waste is generated daily, such as dairy sludge and pig manure, which have a high polluting capacity and therefore require an environmentally appropriate final destination. Composting is a technique capable of providing the degradation of the polluting potential of these wastes, and has the advantages of requiring a small area for its installation, having low operating costs and still producing an organic compost with commercial value. In order to test the use of composting as a form of treatment for these wastes, an experiment was developed at the Rio Verde campus of the Federal Institute of Goiás, which consisted of the assembly of 8 compost piles, formed by the base mixture (corn and guandu beans), associated or not, with dairy sludge, or, swine manure and the presence or absence of eucalyptus. The results obtained allow us to conclude that composting with eucalyptus, maize straw and guandu beans is suitable for the final destination of dairy sludge and pig manure. The details of the composting process and the results obtained are presented and discussed throughout the book.

If a toponym is to identify a very specific geographical feature, it has not been assigned by man in an arbitrary manner, but rather to describe the landscape and evoke the activities carried out there by the inhabitants. Knowledge of regional languages is the key to understanding toponyms, whether in the form of a single term, such as Sahuc (elderberry, Gascony), le Cayre (rock, Provenance), or composed of several words, such as Cap du Bosc (end of the wood, Gascony), Riou Bourdous (muddy stream, Provenance), Pra des Mians (adjoining meadow, Hautes-Alpes). The risk then arises of altering the toponym, deformed by erroneous transcription, phonetic adaptation or even abusive francization.

This research aims to analyse corruption in municipal public administration seek to remedy the evils that affect society, holding accountable those who practice these acts, has always been a reality for men from the oldest and most remote civilisations to the present day. In this sense, legislators have always emphasised the creation of the Administrative Improbity Law in order to curb the distortion public agent in the exercise of their duties. The method of approach of this study will be the hypothetical deductive and the method of procedure will be the monographic, historical and indirect documentation, because they are the most appropriate means to the proposed research.

The formation and development of ethnic culture is reflected in all components of ethnic culture. The most important part of traditional material and spiritual culture is folk decorative applied art, which is associated with applied and at the same time aesthetic development of the object world. Applied art is one of the forms of artistic self-expression of ethnic groups. Analyzing the processes and phenomena occurring in each individual cultural component is a necessary condition for reconstructing a holistic picture of the state and trends in the development of the culture of society as a whole. The study of ethnocultural traditions of ethnic groups is one of the leading directions of ethnological science. One of the important elements of traditional and everyday life of Kyrgyz people is embroidered things, which are closely connected with their ethnic history, production activities, spiritual culture and everyday life. As a kind of decorative and applied art, embroidery has deep traditions. The pastoral economy, nomadic and semi-nomadic lifestyle of the Kyrgyz predetermined the peculiarities of applied art, including embroidery traditions.
