This research aimed to address the treatment offered by the Brazilian State to international migrant workers, through its domestic normative instruments and its commitment to international normative instruments, taking into account the sociocultural and economic dimensions, complementary to the legal-normative and political aspects, in a multicausal and multilevel perspective. We also sought to analyse the domestic normative and institutional framework - as well as existing values, understandings and interests - with regard to international migrant workers; and to understand the international position of the Brazilian State regarding the protection of these individuals: ILO Conventions C-97 and C-143 and the UN Convention on Migrant Workers. This discussion is important for Brazil, a State of origin and destination of migrants, and for the potential to contribute to the strengthening of an international protection regime that is effective in promoting an understanding of who these individuals are, what problems they incur, and what measures should be adopted to ensure that they can enjoy equality with local populations.

Some chapters of this book deal with traditional management issues, others do not. None of them offer finished topics. Nevertheless, this is a book intended not only for students, it can also be used by executives, but undoubtedly a book on general management topics. The intention of this work is to develop a set of theoretical and conceptual methodological considerations that during the last three decades have predominated both in the discursive universe of management sciences and in those disciplines that deal with the administration and management of human resources, especially in academic environments in charge of training professionals who include courses, programs and curricula on administration and management of human resources among their courses, programs and curricula.

In this book, a didactic sequence developed especially for the Youth and Adult Education modality was elaborated and applied, in order to allow the insertion of Modern Physics in the school schedule of Secondary Education. The sequence suggests an approach linked to Science, Technology and Society (STS), thus making it possible to expose the application of the phenomena studied in the classroom and their respective importance in today's society. The material was developed and applied in four classes, two of which were expository classes on Magnetic Nature and its applications, one class with resolution of activities and, the last class, an approach on the Standard Model of Particle Physics. In addition, some Brazilian scientists who have contributed/contribute to recent discoveries were cited. The insertion of themes like this contemplates a contextualised teaching, that is, closer to the student's reality, which favours the dialogue between the physics taught at school and its respective application in technologies present in everyday life.

Since 1990, humanity as a whole has been faced with technological upheavals on an unprecedented scale. All sectors of activity have been affected.Unfortunately, some areas are struggling to adapt to this new reality because of their rather archaic structures and the unorthodox policies of the companies dominating this technological upheaval, namely the GAFAMs. One of these areas is taxation, the instrument of choice in the hands of governments, which today faces a number of challenges that prevent it from fulfilling its regal mission of mobilizing budget revenues.Faced with this situation, all states are suffering huge tax losses, and what's worse, African states such as Mali, because of their technological backwardness, are suffering more than just losses, they are facing real digital enslavement from the masters of this revolution: the digital giants.The aim of this research is therefore to provide concrete solutions to the tax losses these giants are inflicting on the Malian state budget.

We live in a different world from that of only five or ten years ago, we are part of a historical period in transition between what has been and what will be, and we are actors in a world that is inexorably changing. In this context, the geographic distribution of natural resources, the levels of industrialization and technological progress that have been achieved are unparalleled in history. These and other facts and perceptions, such as those related to social, ethnic and religious differences, contribute to the emergence of various international conflicts. However, the way in which these differences are acted upon and managed will have an impact on their outcome and thus on the way of life of individuals and peoples in the coming decades. The topics of international relations and international negotiations covered in this book are dealt with in ten sections, which analyze trends, in some cases towards globalization and in others towards regionalization. It also considers some mechanisms that can help design the world of the future, from the strategic perspective of integral, territorial and sustainable development.

My aim in writing this book was to share my experience with those who have had to deal with mental illness, and with those who will one day have to deal with it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to scare my readers or show them that support meets obstacles they can't surmount. Rather, it's to give them the strength and courage to believe in healing, even when the situation seems insurmountable. It's all about believing in our own actions, in our ability to control and manage our own emotions and actions. This capacity, this strength to act, lies within us. We also have the capacity to help others, ill or not, to regain their ability to act, through support, perseverance, encouragement and a smile. Our ability to question ourselves and to find solutions, where a mentally ill person is in the midst of dead-end questioning, is for him or her a guarantee of recovery. So let's not be discouraged, let's be human, let's be metacognitive, and let's stay on the path of progress, one step at a time.

In Volume 1 (Part I. Historical) of the monograph the process of creation and development of civil legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan is subjected to scientific analysis. Four stages of development of civil legislation corresponding to the stages of economic development of the Republic are highlighted, the content of the main, most important laws and the process of their adoption is studied. The system-forming importance of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan is shown. The process of development and adoption of the Entrepreneurial Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the constitutional law on the international financial center, attempts to implement English law in Kazakhstan legislation are subjected to critical analysis. For students, undergraduates and teachers of law schools, practicing lawyers and all those interested in the civil law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the history of its formation and development.

In this work, the need for research at the micro-regional level with a tendency towards territorial integration is proposed, due to the biodiversity that exists between each of Mexico's micro-regions, not only from the point of view of their natural resources but also of their human resources, This has always been a major obstacle to regional integration, despite the many efforts that have been made with different programmes, which have failed for many reasons, but one of the main ones is the lack of continuity of these, which will allow a conceptual basis for marketing the products of each integrating centre, taking advantage of its productive vocation.

It is important for the world scientific community to learn about the oratory of Fidel Castro Ruz, the features that typify it, its most general characteristics and the importance of learning from his vast thinking. We will also find its foundations from the Educational Sciences, how his oratory evolved and how he adapted to the different situations and contexts, always taking into account the type of interlocutor he faced.

Brain injury, whatever its nature or magnitude, leaves deep scars. As we are multidimensional beings, we are affected in all our aspects: physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioural, which alters our relationships with the world and with ourselves. In the search to overcome the barriers imposed by a brain injury, people, families dedicate themselves to finding all means, methods, care, in short, something that improves conditions and opens up prospects for life or quality of life. Initiated in the 1940s and 1950s by the Hungarian doctor András Petö, Conductive Education has reached the 21st century, known as CE (Conductive Education) and recognised worldwide by those who know it or enjoy its benefits, as a pedagogy of movement that transforms the lives of people with sequelae of brain injury, benefiting children and adults with difficulties to coordinate and control their movements. With little literature in Portuguese on Conductive Education, we present the theoretical and methodological principles of this approach, which can contribute to the reflection of all who take on the challenge of inclusion for people with disabilities.

User needs in mobile telephony saw many twists and turns in the early 70s. The objective was to have a reliable means of wireless telecommunication capable of transmitting voice from one point to another. Years later, with the development of digital electronics, needs changed and we thought of improving the quality of services; so we digitized this first technique to have a new technology which is GSM in 1989. This technology was a huge success, and all the developed countries adopted it, but the rise of the Internet and data transmission showed GSM's limits. This led to the need to create a technology that would not only enable users to make and receive calls remotely, but also to benefit from Internet access with increasingly high mobile speeds.

This guide was elaborated motivated by the need to have a material that helps the development of the contents of technical measurements, due to the reduction of the time fund for the subject technical measurements in the study plan E of mechanical engineering. It is a document with a focus on the development of skills in data selection and calculation. In the treatment of each section the objective is stated, the orientations for the study based on a reminder of the essential theoretical aspects and solved example; the system of proposed exercises, and the set of tables and required data. When dealing with the contents of the topics covered, emphasis is placed on the most general elements, considering the large volume of information available on these topics, the time limitation, and the possibility of articulating the theoretical-practical component with other undergraduate and graduate activities of the subject technical measurements and other related subjects. General orientation for the development of the classes is formulated on the basis of the proposed exercises.

In this scientific work the author considers the dystinctiveness of realisation and regulation of the right to be forgotten in modern realities in the sphere of digital technologies. The right to be forgotten gives each individual such a legal opportunity as the cessation of issuance of personal information, which in the opinion of the person is irrelevant, unreliable, lost value or not at all having such weight of information, which a person, earlier in an arbitrary character published or which by collecting, storing and processing were realised in relation to this person. Despite the earlier similar mechanisms and prerequisites, the term "right to oblivion" is recognised by the legal society as a rather novel phenomenon, therefore the author analysed the origins of the development of this right, the main international legal acts and opinions of representatives of legal doctrine, the precedent established in legal practice, as well as the shortcomings of the right to oblivion. The book reveals the specifics of the right to oblivion, including consideration of potential difficulties.

This article is the product of a research project developed in the Master's Degree in Human Rights and Culture of Peace, with the aim of analysing the participation of private companies in the implementation of guarantees of non-repetition as a strategy for the reparation of victims within the framework of the peace agreement in the Colombian post-conflict period. In the face of violence, companies have different types of responsibility.

The monograph reveals the problem of formation of professional competencies of the future teacher on activation of cognitive activity of schoolchildren in the conditions of substantiation of the competence approach in modern higher education. Formation of professional competences of the future teacher on activation of cognitive activity of schoolchildren is one of the actual tasks of higher pedagogical education in the conditions of introduction of the state educational standards of the third generation.

The book is a finalization project of the IFRN environmental control technical course, with the objective of evaluating some of the environmental impacts caused by the production of mechanized salt in the municipality of Macau in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. In addition, suggest some mitigating measures and / or compensatory, from the quantification of these impacts. The work was developed through bibliographical research, technical visits to the region of the salt pans of the municipality and also through dialogues with the employees of the companies to obtain knowledge of the processes of salt production and identification of the negative impacts generated. Such environmental impacts are generated from the disposal of mother waters in the Açu River, causing possible impacts on local fauna and flora, the disposal of solid waste, topography, vegetation cover, among others. The results obtained in this work promoted some suggestions of mitigating measures and their deadlines for repair according to their severity. This study is relevant to foster future research on environmental impacts in RN.

The present work on the "social history of gbagbaloulou in Agbanto" is the fruit of a collective and individual activity. The specific objectives were based on legal anthropology, which determines the sharing and exploitation of the lake by fishermen, the management of conflicts around the lake and the practice of fishing on the lake. Once we had arrived at the research site with our colleagues and supervisory team, it became clear that Agbanto was an ideal place for young researchers to immerse themselves. And so, during our fieldwork, empiricism revealed other avenues of research that caught our attention. Several fishing techniques were found to be used by fishermen around Lake Agbanto. But within this whole, one fishing technique was more practiced by the fishermen. Our investigations revealed that this technique is called "gbagbaloulou". By the end of the field trip, these empirical elements had led to the identification of a new line of research: "the social history of gbagbaloulou in Agbanto".

The home water treatment process focuses primarily on eliminating pathogens (bacteria, protozoa) from raw water. This is the biggest water quality problem in the world. Although water is available, water treatment technology is very expensive and inaccessible to households (both in terms of equipment and treatment products). The aim of this work was to contribute to access to drinking water at lower cost for households and public or private establishments. The specific objectives were: to inventory and analyse the types of filters on the market; to propose a new filter called the bio-sand filter version 11. To this end, the methodology will be to manufacture this filter and analyse the microbiological parameters at its inlet and outlet. The expected results are: 99% of pathogens in the raw water are eliminated; this filter will produce 30 to 60 litres of water per hour on a sustainable basis. The filter follows the normal water treatment process: sedimentation-filtration-disinfection. It will be a combination of a sand filter and an activated carbon filter.

The monograph presents modern views on the disease benign prostatic hyperplasia, common among men over 50 years of age, leading to deterioration of the quality of life and various complications. Transurethral resection of the prostate gland and holmium laser enucleation of the prostate gland are the two main methods of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Conducting research in this direction will allow to reasonably choose the most effective and safe methods of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of life of patients and reducing the costs of medical care.

The strengthening of local governments, provided for in the 1988 Constitution, guaranteed municipalities greater autonomy to manage their tax resources and, within the scope of the Democratic State of Law, being the responsibility of the municipal public power, the regulation of the offer and access to compulsory elementary education. In view of this, the managers of the Schools of the Municipality of Caxias do Sul, when having resources from the Federal, State and Municipal Governments, establish their priorities for the use of the allocated amounts. The research seeks to relate financial investments in education, based on the results regarding dropout, approval and failure in the triennium 2010-2012. The data analysis adopted was content analysis, combined with statistical analysis with secondary data. Based on the ideas of Paulo Freire and Paro, in addition to the determinations provided for in the Federal Constitution, it is concluded that the relationship of investments with the results regarding approval and failure is true, since the amounts released to each school depend on the number of students. As for the dropouts, there is no relationship with investments.

The book presents the results of a dissertation on the inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education in a private institution in the Centre-West of Minas Gerais. The research analysed issues related to inclusion in higher education; policies and practices for social inclusion; teaching in higher education and the inclusion of students with disabilities; pedagogical actions and teaching methodologies aimed at students with disabilities; legislation and the performance of the university in the 21st century. In the scope of the research, the following specific objectives are pointed out: to understand the public policy of inclusion for Higher Education in the specialised literature and legislation; and to identify the positive and negative aspects of the inclusion policy of the researched institution in view of the construction of didactic strategies by teachers.

The WHO has defined Palliative Care as an approach that enhances the quality of life of patients and families facing problems associated with life-threatening illness through prevention/relief of suffering, early identification, correct assessment, treatment of pain and physical, psychosocial and spiritual problems. Palliative care is a multidisciplinary practice requiring commitment, teamwork and humanised care. Humanisation emphasises the need to ensure comprehensive care for the population and strategies that expand people's rights and citizenship. The main objective of this study was to identify, from the perception of caregivers of patients admitted to a Palliative Care Clinic of a reference hospital in Oncology, in the State of Pará, whether the humanisation of care is in accordance with what is established by the PNH, analysing the relationship between the multiprofessional team and patients and/or family members. A book that will allow health professionals a moment of reflection, knowledge, information and reports capable of making us think, reflect and improve our professional practice.

This book aims to conduct a study on the freedom of the individual regarding the use of narcotic substances considered illicit by the legal system, in view of the fragmentariness of the application of criminal law, which should be limited to sanction practices considered harmful to the community. To this end, it uses the analysis of some of the criminal provisions concerning the fight against the use of narcotic substances, contrasting them with the constitutional dictates and principles based on Criminal Law.

This book is a doctoral thesis in law. It discusses the 1995 Barcelona Agreement as a springboard for Morocco's economic and democratic renewal. It is an agreement that will make it possible to strengthen the excellent existing links between the European Communities and their Member States on the one hand, and Morocco on the other, by establishing on a balanced basis relations founded on reciprocity, partnership and development, while respecting democratic principles and human rights. It suggests a number of questions which we have tried to answer in two parts. In the first part, we have examined the content and basis of the Morocco-European Association Agreement. In the second part, we have focused on the impact of this agreement on the Moroccan economy. We concluded our research with recommendations for the socio-economic and political future of Morocco-European relations.

The mechanisms of social participation are an alternative to generate inclusion, hence the proposal to promote, manage and carry out intergenerational meetings that allow different generations to integrate in order to exchange diverse experiences; Thus, it is necessary to design educational strategies to make the youth population aware of the ageing process and the state of old age, so that they acquire theoretical knowledge, but also create proposals for generational exchanges with recreational, educational, research, sports and leadership activities that have a social impact, The most significant aspect of developing these processes is that although the youth population learns about this particular subject, the most important beneficiaries are the older adults, who will participate in multiple activities in their different contexts and places that will allow them to participate as citizens and improve their quality of life.

In this paper, we investigate whether the normative power of the National Health Surveillance Agency - Anvisa has violated the law, attracting the jurisdiction of the Judiciary, or whether there is a limitation of its regulatory competence, when compared to other federal autonomous agencies, due to political influence of the government (President of the Republic and National Congress) and the regulated industries. In this perspective, we understand that it is up to this Agency, having established the discussion about its differentiated normative capacity and considering the laws edited by the National Congress on its limit of competence, to fit into state regulation that establishes harmony in the regulatory sector. The controversy over the limitation of ANVISA's regulatory function includes the diagnosis of the elements of technical regulation - which involves technical-legal regulation and political regulation - that takes into account the conflicting interests of the regulated market.

Executive functions (EF) develop very early in a child's life, and last well into adulthood. A growing body of evidence points to a link between executive dysfunction and difficulties at school, behavioral disorders and pro-social skills. These factors lead some young people into a situation of school and/or family breakdown, resulting in compulsory placement in an attempt to stop them in their destructive spiral of developmentally dangerous behavior. Neuropsychology shows that the genetic and epigenetic context plays a major role in brain construction and in the imprints that shape our reaction to stressful situations and the resulting automatic physiological and psychological responses. Accumulated stress loads weaken the body's natural responses to stress, and the stress load becomes chronic and toxic for brain development. This load is accentuated by placement under stress in a new life context.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since November 2018, reggae is undeniably a music that contributes to the good of humanity as a whole. In this book, authors from various academic backgrounds examine the contribution of this music to post-colonial Africa. Through emblematic figures such as Tiken Jah Fakoly, Alpha Blondy and Lucky Dube, this music of Jamaican origin, now very "Africanised¿, is presented as a music that describes, defends and values the African continent. African reggae, sung by Africans, using African musical instruments in addition to the classics, has become an instrument in the fight for democratisation, effective liberation and the dignity of Africa. This book is above all a tribute to the African reggaemen who have used reggae, this weapon of combat, in the context of post-colonial Africa.

The aim of this book is to deal with the scourge of poor hygiene, which is seriously eroding the living environment of our community, in relation to the need for safety and the protection and safeguarding of our environment. The author's approach is based on real observations in the field. This has enabled him to describe, objectively and concretely, the general state of affairs in terms of quality of life. This is the author's basis of reference, based on his own experience and deep feelings about the conditions of the environment and of being, in the face of the attitudes and behaviors of a society that has lost its traditional landmarks. The author's duty, quite rightly, is to put on the public square, without concession or complacency, the full extent of the scourges and damage caused to our environment, as well as to our state of mind and mentalities, which have unfortunately become most backward because of our passivity. This book is based on the author's own experience, having taught this subject for some ten years in a number of voluntary training courses for executives of public and private companies.

Based on Gramisci's theory of the Expanded State, it is proposed to analyse Civil Society as a set of private apparatuses that disseminate a certain intellectual and moral direction of a particular class. From this perspective, we sought to analyse the participation of civil society in the context of the re-democratisation of Brazil. What societal project did Organised Civil Society defend in this period? What contradictions permeated the democratic discourse? Did organised civil society contribute to the break with the dictatorship? These questions will be analysed in this book.
