Since the early 1990s, the DRC has faced internal and sub-regional unrest and destabilisation, manifested in ethnic wars, social demands and armed conflicts. Indexed since the first Congo war, in 1996, as a country that recruits children into armed forces and groups, the DRC has since demonstrated its selflessness and its determination to prevent and put an end to this phenomenon, considered a "war crime" under the Statute of the International Criminal Court. To this end, the DRC has ratified and implemented the main international texts on the protection of children, particularly those affected by armed conflict; it has developed new legislative and structural frameworks favourable to better practice in preventing the recruitment of children into armed groups and, above all, it has set up numerous programmes and projects to protect Congolese children from being used in armed groups and to enable the demobilisation and social reintegration of children who have already been recruited.

The book is a comparative study of the international conventions ratified by Morocco at the level of the International Labour Organisation and domestic legislation (the Moroccan Labour Code). The book deals with: - individual labour relations and international conventions: forced labour, protection of women and children, etc; - collective labour relations and international conventions: labour representation, staff representatives, etc...

Community and public service media must do everything in their power to fulfill the roles and functions assigned to them. These include, in particular, the functions of informing, educating and, above all, criticizing, which give them their title of 4th power. In other words, the media must make human beings more aware of their own problems, such as the electoral process, the quest for peace, development and security. This mission can be made possible when journalists do not indulge in the cut-and-paste phenomenon. Because cutting is a phenomenon that seriously undermines journalists' editorial freedom, those who claim otherwise are not credible. As soon as a financial relationship is established between a journalist and his source of information, the former is no longer free to express himself. As we see on a regular basis, journalists have become "flatterers", creating a new journalistic genre, "flattery", which first saw the light of day during the Mobutu era and tends to become official during Joseph Ka.

The country's identity crisis has continued with each successive government. The issue of welcoming migrants shows that the possibility of everyone living together, whatever their culture of origin, is not yet fully recognised. Let's advocate greater social cohesion, in particular by combating all forms of inequality. Positive discrimination' policies are many and varied. Quotas in favour of integration certainly clash head-on with the principle of free competition in the private sector, as well as within public services. Nevertheless, they would make it possible to promote the principle of equality in all its dimensions, by encouraging access to social and professional responsibilities for working-class people from priority neighbourhoods. Quotas are perhaps not the best solution to replace anonymity and the drawing of lots to designate our elites. Their brutality is revolutionary. But they do make it possible to re-establish equality of opportunity and to transcend, even pass on, differences and beliefs. They encourage us to devise a whole legal engineering system to remove the obstacles to integration ...

Communication is an inherent part of society, and even more so of organizations. Nowadays, no organization can give meaning to its services without having an effective communications department. It is of the utmost importance to have one in church organizations. In this book, we describe the use of organizational communication in a church, and make a number of recommendations linked to the proper application of organizational communication.

Better coordination of PNANSS II activities by stakeholders would contribute to improving impacts at community and school level. The "child-community" approach, which is a participatory approach, encourages students to use the knowledge they have acquired in class or through surveys and observations, to sensitize their families, friends and the community to adopt responsible behavior in terms of WASH, health and nutrition. The 3 strategies of PNANSS II will be implemented by the school community and stakeholders under the supervision of MEN, ONN and MINSANP. This PNANSS II document is the fruit of collaboration between the Ministry of National Education, the NSB and the support of other sectors and partners. It aims, in the long and short term, to develop PNANSS school models that are less dependent on external resources.

This study concerns the exploitation of the earth's heat (geothermal energy) for heating agricultural greenhouses, with the aim of increasing their yield. A simple energy balance model was developed, capable of representing the thermal behavior of the greenhouse. This study has shown that the choice and sizing of the components of a photovoltaic system to power a heat pump is based on an estimate of electricity requirements. The factors determining the choice of pump depend on two important factors: The energy requirement of the agricultural greenhouse, and the power needed for pumping. For this, we used the RETScreen software for the most optimized dimensioning, based on a database of pumps and solar panels, as well as reliable meteorological data or site surveys. Last but not least, financial optimization ensured an acceptable return on investment for the project. Finally, this type of project has many advantages: energy is renewable, inexhaustible and available just about everywhere. Economically profitable, it also creates jobs.

Childhood is a fleeting reality that slips through the cracks of a sometimes tumultuous world. When it deviates from its "normal" trajectory, it makes a noise called "delinquency", a muffled but sometimes heart-rending and dramatic noise. The term "juvenile delinquency" misrepresents the experience and cruel situations experienced by children. The path of torment begins very early on, often unbeknownst to parents, school and community. It only comes to light thanks to a catastrophe that heralds problems: failure at school, a shameful attitude or a crime. So what can be done to save these children? Because once a child has been labelled a "delinquent", he or she theoretically loses more than half of his or her capital of opportunity and, in fact, all of his or her status as a child. An uncertain future of rejection and failure lies ahead. It is my hope that this book will provoke not compassion, but reflection on the social and educational practice of children. This book is aimed at policy-makers, program managers, practitioners and parents keen to better understand the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency.

The power of civil society, in terms of its influence on world politics, is today tending to overturn the great principles that have been elevated to the rank of dogma in politics and international law, such as the absolute sovereignty of the State. While in the countries of the North, this notion, which rhymes strongly with democracy, enjoys almost absolute recognition by States, in Africa, and particularly in Côte d'Ivoire, it's worth taking a look at the lives of these new players who are trying to make their way in a space where debates are highly politicized. The CSO "springtime" that took place during the multiparty era in the 90s made a major contribution to the emergence of a more diversified civil society in the country. Unfortunately, this dynamic seems to have stalled, despite the fact that CSOs are expected to play an active role in the country's democratic balance.

The objectivity proposed by modern science with the impulse of Positivism implied that it was considered possible to apprehend the world directly, through the subject/object distinction of knowledge; in this sense, social facts were also conceived as things according to the founding idea of sociology put forward by Emile Durkheim. Nowadays, however, reality is re-conceived as a social construction mediated by language, the imaginaries of culture, beliefs, the intervention of the subject in the reality he/she seeks to know, among other transversal factors. Therefore, the "real" world is not presented to us directly in order to know it, but we apprehend it through re-presentations of it, which produce meaning through the articulation of language and our conceptual schemes.

It is known that Transformational Leadership generates a pleasant and appropriate work environment. The purpose of this book is to analyze the different styles of leadership, those who manage to enhance the work performance of employees within an organization, as well as to measure the results obtained by them when following or applying these leadership styles. The primary information collected in this book uses the participants of the Leadership for Transformation Training Program virtual edition 2021 as the unit of analysis. The tool used for the data collection was the MLQ (Multifactorial) questionnaire, developed to measure the influence of leadership styles and their results. In addition, a questionnaire was used to measure Labor Performance (LP). The results obtained reflect that transformational leadership is put into practice by most of the participants, its explanatory capacity with work performance is high, as well as with the results.

In the absence of specific legal provisions, damages resulting from the absorption or administration of a medicinal product are governed by the rules of ordinary civil liability law. This means that compensation for damage caused by these very high-tech products is subject to triple proof of fault, injury and a causal link. These are the conditions governing civil liability in the event of damage caused by a drug marketed by the manufacturer, prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacist. A study of the positive law applicable to damage caused by medicinal products and, above all, the application of this law by case law in this area has shown that it does not provide sufficient protection for victims. However, the manufacturer or producer should not be the only one liable, because if a medicinal product is placed on the market with an economic aim, it is also placed on the market in the interest of the patient.

The results obtained in our study confirm the presence of tuberculosis on the agro-pastoral farm examined. Our study was based on allergic screening by simple intradermal tuberculin testing and post-mortem examination of the carcasses and organs of slaughtered sheep. The test was carried out on a population of 843 Santa-Inês sheep divided into two breeding sections, one composed solely of females and the other of males and females. The overall prevalence of allergy testing in the flocks tested was 25.7%. This prevalence may vary according to various factors, including sex, herd and season. The overall frequency of post-mortem examination was 9.1%. Animal tuberculosis not only poses a threat to human health, it also causes economic losses and hampers food safety by reducing the production of meat, milk and other animal products.

Industry plays an undeniable role in the economy, and thus in the sustainable development of any country. As such, it is one of the most fertile grounds for increasing national production, a major driver of economic growth and, above all, a major asset that gives an entity's economy greater room for manoeuvre and makes it less dependent on external forces. What's more, industry has always responded to society's needs, because by sensing their evolution it anticipates them. Through the technical advances it makes available to the community, and the goods, services and income it provides to people, it provides viable economic solutions to the problems posed. Innovation, stimulated by freedom of enterprise and competition, leads to a continuous improvement in living standards and social well-being.

In the present work, the removal of lead and cadmium, metals highly hazardous to humans and the environment, from a standard solution using bovine bone as a natural adsorbent is presented. Bone is mainly constituted by calcium apatite known as hydroxyapatite (HAP), which is a transparent-translucent solid and poorly soluble in water. The ionic character of PAH [Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2], gives it the capacity for partial or complete substitution of network ions by others of similar size. The main objective is to develop a simple and effective technique to help prevent and remediate the contamination of aquifers with heavy metals such as lead and cadmium.

This work concerns the older generations as well as the new ones. In today's world, we often find that the older generations are often forgotten. Young people are not interested in them. Unfortunately, in 2014, the silent generation (born between 1925 and 1942) is gradually disappearing. This book sets out to define the precise meaning of Sartre's concept of 'being-in-the-world', following its introduction under the impetus of phenomenology, and to show the specific status of this concept in contrast to that established by its initiator, Heidegger. In doing so, he draws heavily on the work that Tony Ferri had already begun on Sartrean thought over twenty years ago, when he was studying philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris IV. The challenge of the approach taken here is twofold. It lies both in highlighting the originality of Sartre's approach to what we might call the question of the world, and, correlatively, in understanding the roots and driving forces of human freedom, as reflected in the major characteristics of the figurehead of existentialism. At a time when naturalisms (racism, eugenics, neo-Darwinism, etc.), fatalism and intolerance are making a comeback, the interest of this book lies in the philosophical reinvestment of one of the greatest philosophies of freedom that our contemporary era has produced.

Having already demonstrated the important role of reception in the service-providing approach of structures (public and private) to their targets, we are going to develop some recommendations that will make the CCAS a place of welcome and solidarity. As part of the new reception strategy, we need to plan for the post-project period: think of initiatives that will make the CCAS more attractive, anticipate needs that are likely to arise in the next few years, and keep up with the dynamism and development of the area. To do this, we are exploring several avenues. These will be detailed in order, from easily achievable actions to those that require more resources and time. By making it easier for elected representatives and all the staff to deal with the public, simplifying the user's experience and providing greater comfort through the use of technology, the Health and Solidarity Centre or CCAS project can be seen as offering many interesting and, above all, rewarding prospects for an area that is becoming increasingly attractive.

In the achievements made by our country in the reduction of infant mortality, the care of the newborn child has been of paramount importance. With the development of the Neonatology specialty, the incorporation of valuable technological contributions and the primordial importance of the role played by nursing care to these children in this stage of their life, the most vulnerable, and which requires a specialized and very sensitive staff that remains minutes after minutes next to these little beings who can ask for nothing, but need a lot.It is intended that the student has sufficient, correct and adequate knowledge of the normal physiological characteristics of the healthy newborn, it is precisely knowing the normal as we can distinguish the abnormal and give prompt attention to any neonatological alteration that occurs in the child, from a respiratory distress, to the most common pathologies, among which are: major metabolic disorders, respiratory disorders and in which our correct and timely care is needed, as well as a high degree of sensitivity in providing such care.

This book tells the story of how the Atetela behaved according to the will of their ancestors, and consequently respected established social norms. The law prohibiting adultery, for example, could not be broken under any circumstances. The penalty for deviation was death or some similar punishment. But with the arrival of the Europeans, Christianity supplanted these social practices and traditional beliefs of the Atetela, which were no longer of value. Confession ensured the remission of sins, and the sinner obtained salvation through God's forgiveness. Evil was washed away. Faced with this undermining of the traditional Tetela beliefs that kept adultery under control, the author shows that the Atetela resorted to "lahe" to discourage adultery. An atheistic and retrograde practice in the eyes of the Catholic Christian Church, but one that is making a strong comeback, accompanied by every possible calamity likely to discourage or repress adultery.

Insect pests of rice are a very serious threat to rice production (irrigated and rainfed) in the Far North region of Cameroon, causing yield losses, but have not received the attention they deserve as a major constraint to rice production in Africa. The present study was conducted with a view to improving rice production through proper management of rice insect pests, using appropriate control methods in the Far North of Cameroon in the irrigated rice ecosystem of Maga and the rainfed rice ecosystem of Maroua. On experimental plots (randomized blocks) of NERICA 3 rice and IR 46 rice, we compared three treatments: a control (no pesticide application), a registered chemical insecticide "lynx" whose active ingredients are Lambda-cyhalotrin 15g/l and Acetamiprid 20g/l, and a biopesticide "aqueous neem seed extract". Spraying the aqueous extract of neem seeds on the IR46 rice variety and the NERICA 3 variety enabled us to better control the evolution of the population of insect pests such as Conocephalus maculatus.

Initially it is considered relevant to inform that this study aims to present an analysis of the main active methodologies used in the education of deaf students in elementary school, having as assumption of the theme, The Environment in Everyday School and its Active Methodologies. The student is stimulated to assume an active and responsible posture in his learning process, seeking self-regulation and meaningful learning. This learning involves methods and techniques that stimulate student-teacher and student-student interaction, materials and didactic resources, and bets, almost always, on learning in a collaborative environment, leading the student to take responsibility for the construction of his knowledge. Therefore, we will present some active methodologies, among which is Recycle, Reuse, and Reduce solid waste. It was found that the methodologies used are oriented according to the theories of child-centered learning. In this context, it is essential the investment in the deaf student and his identification, thus providing the referral to the appropriate services for the stimulation and development of this learner.

How to contribute effectively to the regional integration process in Africa, from organizations such as CEMAC, UEAC, UMAC, UEMOA, ECOWAS. How, in solidarity, to accelerate and achieve a harmonious development of the Member States of OHADA? What are the obstacles and potential reforms? This is the subject of this book. Introduction: from television to young people or from young people to television? Like all arduous work, the text that begins here is a long journey. The first words of this paper are devoted to reviewing this drift from what was an initial concern, a spark that, with time and reflection, would give rise to the writing that follows. In general terms, the question that governs the work is the following: how does television construct meanings about youth? The path that led to this question has certainly not been a straight line. Initially, the thesis was intended to focus on a particular type of representation of youth in the mass media, namely that of the young delinquent.

This study is justified by the fact that from conception, through birth to the end of the employment contract between employer and employee, the primary task falls to the ONEM. Despite the presence of the ONEM, the employment market operates informally in the city of Kisangani. In most cases, we see the activities of economic operators taking place in the city without the public employment service par excellence being informed, and most of them content themselves with recruiting labour according to their job offers referred to the ONEM, while a good number of them even recruit without consulting the service in question. This inadequate situation caught our attention, because there are public schools springing up like mushrooms, local NGDOs, private foundations, hotels, shops, commercial enterprises, petrol stations, etc., including a large number of health centres that recruit people in breach of the Congolese labour code.

Motivation is the key to access the learning potential. There is an ideal environment, ideal attitudes and techniques to experience optimism in working with children... And fantastic results. Parents are the best resource for their children, only they can love them so much to believe that they will achieve the best in life. Today the Autism Centre has 42 children enrolled between 2 and 14 years, a wonderful space where dreams are fulfilled and families have a new hope with their children. We are the only public centre in Brazil that offers 12 hours a week of care in the DIR/Floortime model.

For several years now, economic and social crises have led the people of Benin to find survival solutions. For the most part, these players have settled in the informal sector. Through the businesses they have created, they contribute to local development. That's why we chose this topic, whose aim is to study the socio-economic functions of entrepreneurship in the local development process, and hence all the dynamics surrounding business realities. Thanks to the methodology, techniques and tools we have developed, we have arrived at the following results: entrepreneurship is a real field that offers various development opportunities, both economically and socially; the development of businesses increases hiring and consequently improves the flow of migration. It's also worth noting the forms of social organization, policies and mentalities that emerge thanks to business start-ups. However, this area remains to be explored for greater viability and credibility in order to create stable, lasting jobs.
