A high prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms was identified among the workers, and the most commonly reported body regions were the lower back, neck and upper back. Most participants stated that they perceive a relationship between the symptoms reported and their current work. In this perspective, the importance of implementing health policies aimed at the nursing workers who work in Intensive Care Units is observed.

The present work analyses in detail Newton's concepts of "absolute" space, time and motion, as well as presenting a description of the method used in the elaboration of Newtonian Physics, more precisely, in the confection of the Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy. It is also argued that these concepts of "absolute" space, time and motion would have as origin the controversy between Cartesians and Newtonians about the fundamentals of Natural Philosophy. Finally, it is shown that these concepts came to serve as a basis for the Newtonian definition of forces and laws of motion.

Traditionally, educational assessments are used to classify students as able or not, creating a cycle of aversion to assessment that leads to discrimination, denial and exclusion. The formative trajectory memorials are an important resource in the teaching-learning process because they reveal themselves as sources of knowledge and limitations, stories, representations and re-significations. This study was conducted with undergraduate students in Biological Sciences and is based on the methodological use of memorialistic accounts for the composition of assessment instruments in order to clarify the following question: are the formative trajectory memorials a tool for learning assessment? Creating a memorial is not an easy task, however, it can be revealing. To relive memories is to make conscious the choices and the paths followed, facilitating the self-discovery and the awareness about the personal and professional formation. The teacher who deeply knows his student can make use of this knowledge to prepare better assessments, being aware of the trajectory of each student can provide assessments their true formative, procedural and contextualized character.

This academic work takes a critical look at the theme of the environment in all its spheres. It understands the man inserted in the environment as an active participant of the various processes that act in his environment. This participation in his environment triggers a series of socio-environmental problems resulting from his economic activities. Large business ventures, due to the fact that they use large areas for their facilities or the massive use of natural resources, generate environmental, social and economic impacts in the region where they are installed. The Environmental Management System is responsible for managing these impacts, as well as minimizing them, not only by following laws and norms, but also by understanding the problems caused by their activities, assuming an attitude of socio-environmental responsibility towards all the social actors that somehow interact in their ways of working and economic gains. The Companhia Docas do Pará carries out port activities in the state of Pará and understands the great environmental and social sphere of which it is part in the socio-environmental context with a political and educational focus in the realization of socio-environmental projects.

Born from a melancholy and a despair, the ethical stage of Søren Kierkegaard is the highest degree of the existence. Intermediate of the aesthetic and religious stages, it represents the alternative to which the individual is exposed who becomes aware of himself. The reflection on the existence deepens and tends the man towards a knowledge of oneself in order to find a truth which is clean to him. Closely linked to the notion of subjectivity, the ethical sphere challenges the individual in his relationship with the world and pushes him to rethink his social relationships and his means of communication. In this book, Nadine Sarah digs into a reflection on this ethical stage by analyzing its different explanations, by proposing a visual representation of it, but also by putting it in relation with the life choices of this great Danish thinker. By keeping all interpretations in uncertainty, Nadine Sarah respects throughout this book, the distance with the subjectivity of each.

The managerial practices in our Health Care Facilities call upon managers and lawyers to examine not only the actuality of legal texts but also the impact that health legislation could have on hospital management. The health legislation has necessarily an influence, whether positive or negative, on a health facility whether it is public or private and whatever its size and mission. A study conducted at the Yaoundé University Hospital allowed us to analyze the influence that health legislation can have on the management of a health facility in general and that of the University Hospital in particular. This was a qualitative study during which 12 people responded to our interview on the different themes of our work. The data were collected using a semi-directive interview guide and a non-participant observation grid. They showed the existence of texts, although they need to be updated, applied by managers lacking competence. The need to update the legal texts applicable in the health field and a profound reform of the hospital system emerged.

This study, whose subject is ''Teaching practices of sciences and technologies in elementary school: Case of electricity in CM2 class'' consists in improving the teaching practices in use in the teaching of electricity in CM2 class. To this end, it postulates that teaching practices in science and technology have a negative impact on the learning of electricity in CM2. To verify this assumption, an interview was conducted (using an interview guide) with 10 teachers randomly selected from the three pedagogical sectors of the Abengourou district. The results show that the years of professional experience of the teachers interviewed cannot be a factor in improving teaching practices during electricity class sessions. The teaching practices as well as the quality of learning in science and technology are functions of the availability or not of didactic materials. Thus, according to the results, in the absence of teaching materials, all teachers proceed in the same way. They resort to theory and not to practice.

Here, we present our numerical results of ZrxSi1-xO2 solid solutions (with x= 0-1) to predict new hypothetical tetragonal compounds of the Zircon family. We used the full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method based on DFT density functional theory in the GGA approximation as implemented in the WIEN2k code to study the structural and optoelectronic properties of the named compounds. First, we studied the properties of the compound ZrSiO4, where the obtained results are compared to several theoretical and experimental investigations. Secondly, we have predicted new hypothetical compounds for the ZrSi3O8 and Zr3SiO8 family that crystallize in the I41/amd space group. In any case, the chemical stability of the studied alloys has been verified with both the enthalpy of formation and the cohesive energy. Moreover, the phonon dispersion results also indicated this aspect. The electronic properties reveal a strong p-d covalent hybridization between Zr and O. The Zr3SiO8 compound exhibits a wide indirect band gap.

Sexual violence against women is one of the macabre scourges in the areas affected by the repeated wars of liberation in Eastern DR Congo in general and in the Mwenga Territory in particular. According to estimates, 70% of the victims of sexual violence were women. Once raped, women find it difficult to stay in their homes because they are traumatised, affected by sexually transmitted diseases, abandoned or simply rejected by their husbands who fear being infected by diseases6 . In fact, these women find themselves isolated and no longer have access to their crop fields in order to meet some of their needs. The efforts made by structures such as ARSF would not only contribute to the involvement of everyone but also and above all to the reintegration of the victims into the community. After listening, counselling and medical care, it is necessary for them to find out how they can live or how they can be independent. So, at all costs, these victims need to be reintegrated economically.

By constitutionalizing territorial decentralization, the Cameroonian constituent of January 18, 1996 profoundly transformed the Cameroonian administrative landscape, followed by the legislator of July 22, 2004. As a result of these different reforms, the local administrative landscape has been enriched by new bodies that are in fact actors of decentralization. Among these, we can cite the syndicate of municipalities. Although this last body has not been sufficiently studied, it should be noted that it is an actor that complements the action of the communes. The syndicate of communes is nothing more than a public inter-municipal establishment intended to ensure inter-municipal cooperation and solidarity. This is what makes it a major organ of Cameroonian decentralization.

Based on my master's thesis, this book discusses the relationship between different knowledges in the school curriculum, analyzing a municipal school in Rio de Janeiro, where Capoeira workshops were held as part of the Mais Educação Program. I sought to point out possible readings which take into account contemporary demands for identity and difference, as well as contributions from social discourse theorizing, from Cultural and Post-Colonial Studies, and from historiographical, anthropological and pedagogical studies on Capoeira. The text reveals that the hegemonic, modern/colonial discourse - which sets apart "black knowledge" and "black culture" in the curriculum - has not proved to be absolute or without tension. I highlight the protagonism and the anti-racist educational role played by teachers and masters of black cultural traditions. In the school analyzed, two black angoleiros capoeiristas, Mestre Cláudio and Treinel Ludmila, challenge the racism so present in Brazilian education and society and provide, to the different subjects in the school, opportunities to think the "black culture" and "knowledge" under new lenses.

This study aimed to evaluate the incidence and severity of African mosaic disease (AMD) on different cassava cultivars under the ecological conditions of Kindu in DR Congo. The trial was conducted in a randomized complete block design during the A season of the year 2020. It compared three exotic cassava cultivars with a reference cultivar (T0) on the basis of vegetative growth (height and diameter) and phytosanitary (incidence and severity of MAM) parameters on plants derived from cuttings harvested from apparently healthy stems. The results recorded during the study generally indicate that the incidence and severity of AMD varies with the type of cassava cultivar.

The issue of natural hazards in general and Floods in particular is a topic of current interest that marks a memorable action in the world and specifically in Tunisia, especially in view of the last major floods of the Medjerda. Indeed, the management of this risk becomes more and more a necessity that must include all actors and all possible means available. In this work, has been exposed the mapping of flood areas of the middle valley of the Medjerda by means of the combination of different complementary approaches of remote sensing coupled with GIS and hydraulic modeling (HEC RAS) and (HEC Geo RAS). The processing and interpretation of satellite images, has allowed to have a digital terrain model of high resolution, a mapping of land use at different dates and a hydromorphological map. Thus, simulations of three flood scenarios with three flows were made for different return periods. The combination of all these results allowed to elaborate the hazard map. This map seems to be one of the most effective means of efficient management.

This book presents an account of capital flight from sub-Saharan Africa including definition, methods of volume theft. It includes results and analysis of the volume and trend of illicit financial flows from Liberia over a 10-year period from 2004 to 2013. The objective is to determine the level of capital flight and recommend mitigation policies. The research for this book was carried out through a literature review on the subject and direct interviews and meetings with professionals in the fields of economics, banking, financial markets, etc. This book makes a contribution on illicit financial flows from sub-Saharan Africa to Liberia in particular, as existing research on long-term trends in the pattern of illicit flows from African countries is rather sparse and does not include Liberia. The article presents expenditures (2004-2013) from the Global Financial Integrity (GFI) 2015 Report Estimating Illicit Financial Flows from Liberia [1]. This was appropriate, due to the challenges in collecting data ourselves. From 2004 to 2013.

The endemicity, the exploitation of bibliographic data and our surveys of healers and traditional practitioners, led us to study Senecio faujasioïdes of the ASTERACEAE family, a plant known to be effective in treating wounds, sores, suppuration, endocarditis and syphilis. After purification and microbiological tests, it was observed that the bactericidal principles of the hot aqueous extract are mainly found in the fraction from the heat treatment noted N1, in the fraction from the dialysate noted N3 and in the fraction from the pellet of the precipitation with 50% ethanol noted N5. The bactericidal activity against pathogenic microorganisms is attributed to the fraction from the pellet of the 50% ethanol precipitation (N5) with a minimum inhibitory concentration of about 0.86 µg/µl and a BMC equal to 0.97 µg/µl for Bacillus subtilis. The other purified fractions are also bactericidal.

Gabon, a developing country in Central Africa, aspires to development. The implementation of its five progress plans have not been well received by the population on the economic, social, political and cultural levels, because everything is too politicized. In 2025, the sectors of education, health, politics, technology and culture will not meet the expectations of Gabonese people. Gabon would gain if it uses the means put in place for the execution of a project wisely. The one and only sector that will have an increased development is the military sector. Because the current authorities give it more importance. The development of Gabon by 2025 must imperatively involve investment in people.
