Proctologic emergencies are a frequent cause of consultation in Emergency Departments. For patients this type of problem involves, in addition to the symptoms themselves, in many cases embarrassment and shame, which may result in a late consultation in relation to the onset of the clinical picture.It is a challenge for the emergency physician to be able to clearly determine the diagnosis and appropriate treatment, as well as the need for hospitalization or to indicate the consultation of a specialist. That is why it is necessary to have the basic knowledge for the diagnosis and management of the most frequent pathologies such as anal pain, anal bleeding or increased volume in the perianal area.

Sociology professors have predicted that the intense use of the Internet will have different and heavy impacts on states, on society and on the individual. This is what has completely changed the essence of social interaction that produces authority in almost all societies around the world. It seems therefore that this latent social movement has irrevocably brought about acute changes in the sub-system of Power in its different typologies and in its different relations with Authority within society and consequently in the appearance, not to say in the production of new typologies of sources of this Authority; and above all and in particular in the diffusion of this one. The data-processing revolution has indeed succeeded in exposing the results of this widespread idea and this in a rather early way. It is besides what allowed to develop a rather clear vision on the cybernetic Power, resembling the different scopes of the digital revolution.

This study is entitled Feasibility of setting up a mutual health insurance plan. The objective is to determine the factors favoring the establishment of a mutual health insurance. This is a descriptive and cross-sectional study, conducted among 384 heads of households in the city of Lubero. We used a questionnaire and discussion guide with the head doctor of the Lubero health zone, the head nurse, etc. The analysis was done by SPSS and the interpretation by the Chi-square test. The results reveal that: Of the social feasibility 86.5% of respondents belong to one of the associations, 95.2% perceive the spirit of solidarity. In terms of economic feasibility, 45.1% of respondents have an income of less than $30/month and 63.5% of respondents have an average expenditure for health care of less than or equal to $50/month. 82.3% are willing to join a mutual health insurance company. Of the institutional feasibility, among those who claim to be members of an association, more than 75.9% select their managers by election. 24 health care providers surveyed are all ready to welcome mutualists.

Adriamycin (ADR) is a chemotherapeutic drug widely used for the treatment of cancerous diseases. Its use is limited, due to its toxic action on healthy tissues. Recently, flavonoids (such as quercetin) have been shown to have potent antioxidant properties for improving the body's detoxifying status and immune response to infectious agents. Thus, the present book discusses the effects of acute exposure to a medium dose of ADR on the biochemical, hematological and histopathological aspects of male Wistar rats, and the ability of quercetin to restore ADR-induced disturbances.

Following a theoretical reorientation in literary studies in which space constitutes one of the preponderant themes in literary criticism, this study, whose theoretical framework is sociocriticism, particularly the notion of space according to Bourneuf as well as Westphal's geocriticism, analyzes the inscription of novelistic space in the novels of Sony Labou Tansi. The typology of Tansi's novelistic space, on the one hand, reveals the village, forest and river spaces of traditional pre-colonial Africa that retain the social values suitable for the flourishing of human life. On the other hand, it is the city space where these social values of yesteryear undergo anthropophagy because of the dictatorship's stranglehold on the lives of the people. The inscription of conflicting socio-electoral forces in the fictional space of our corpus proves to be significant in that social resistance in postcolonial African society finds expression there. We note a synchronic relationship between the spatial system of Tansian novels and its ideology of social resistance as a means of renewing the space of postcolonial Africa.

This descriptive cross-sectional study focuses on the co-infection of malaria and anal lesions in children under 5 years old in Opala. It aims to determine the frequency of co-infection of malaria and anal lesions, to identify its clinical aspects and to evaluate the medical management based on the immediate fate of the sick children. We recorded 135 cases of co-infection, i.e. 36.7% and 85.2% of positive RDTs and 13.3% of unavailable laboratory results. Children aged 12 to 23 months and 0 to 11 months were more affected, with a female predominance. These subjects presented a clinical picture of fever, anal lesions and embarrassing digestive signs. Apart from self-medication of chloramphenicol with tomato leaf alkaloids or lemon juice, the medical management was made of anti-malarial drugs, antibiotics and antipyretics. We obtained 87.4% cure and 5.2% death. Thus, we support the hypothesis of co-infection of malaria and salmonellosis in case of anal lesions in children under five years of age.

The fundamental characteristic of an operator's network is to offer communication time (voice and data services) to subscribers while guaranteeing a required level of quality of service (QoS), and resource management procedures are indispensable. GSM and its evolutions are cellular systems, i.e. they operate in cells and the establishment and commissioning of these cells is essential to the operation of these systems. The optimization of the coverage and the quality of a telephony network is a work which allows the operator to always offer a good quality of service to the subscribers. This is done through an inventory of the existing network (data collection or test drives) to detect quality and coverage problems. These detected problems are analyzed and treated to be corrected in order to improve the network performance. The result of these different actions is to satisfy the customer. These problems can be due to the environment of the site, to a bad design of the sites or to material problems (cable, antenna...) or even software (parameterization problem) on site.

Awareness raising as a tool for environmental education in the 21st century is one of the steps in an educational process leading to responsible future children behaving responsibly towards their immediate environment. So how can this awareness be assimilated by children at school? As future leaders, young people must integrate into their behaviour and education the principles of prevention and recycling for a healthy and fair environment. The stakes of environmental education for sustainable development, inscribes us all in an educational and citizen approach. To have an environmental and patrimonial culture with different audiences: family public, school public and educators.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive, disabling, neurodegenerative disease with upper and lower neuron involvement and, so far, no cure. As the disease progresses, the person with ALS becomes totally dependent, and the caregiver plays a key role in meeting his/her physical, psychological and emotional needs. This paper analyzes the factors associated with the burden and the perception of quality of life of informal caregivers of people with ALS. A descriptive-correlational study was designed, with a sample of available, conducted between January 1 and March 31, 2019, and the following instruments were used for data collection: World Health Organization Quality of Life - Breef to assess the caregiver's perception of quality of life, Informal Caregiver Burden Assessment Questionnaire to determine the level of burden, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Functional Rating Scale Revised to assess the functionality of the person with ALS, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Assessment Questionnaire to assess their quality of life.

For several years now, the status of the child has evolved considerably, from a role of being of little value, subject to the will of his parents and working from an early age to help his family financially, to a role of prescriber and child king. With the evolution of mentalities, food manufacturers have measured the real interest of considering the child as a singular target that must absolutely be differentiated from other consumers. New products with attractive packaging, designed especially for children, have been created. Many brands have a mascot to develop the DNA of the brand and to create a real visual identity in order to create a strong and emotional bond with children. The subject of this study will be to analyze the influence that the presence of a character on the packaging can have on the consumption of healthy products among children. Does a character make children want to consume a healthy product?

This research analyzes the social representations that teachers make about the evaluation of teaching performance in the Secondary School Mozambican Heroes. The research, of descriptive nature and qualitative approach, had as a sample by convenience, a total of 64 teachers corresponding to 85.33% of the total population, who were submitted to a questionnaire. In addition to this, we used a structured interview submitted to the pedagogicalpedagogical director of that school. ResultsNeiva Olga Raimundo Saúteos of the research show that the performance appraisal process is carried out according to what is foreseen in the Mozambican Public Administration Performance Management System (SIGEDAP). Teachers always have access to the results of the performance appraisal (PA), receive feedback, and are given the opportunity to complain about the results if they do not agree, while at the same time considering the appraisal indicators as relevant.

The purpose of this research work is to analyze the figures of the cooperatives of small sugarcane producers and their participation in activities that have an impact on the territorial development of the Central Area of the province of Tucumán.the research problem arises from the relevance of investigating the real contributions of sugarcane cooperatives to territorial development.the general objective of this research is to document and analyze the role of cooperatives in contributing to and strengthening the processes of territorial development of the central area of the province of Tucumán. The hypothesis that justifies the approach of this research work is that sugarcane cooperatives, through the active participation of their members, become essential actors in the transformation processes of the localities where they are immersed, taking advantage of the potentialities of their environment.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nearly 80% of African populations rely on traditional medicine for primary health care (WHO, 2002). Considerable economic benefits in the development of this medicine and in the use of medicinal plants for the treatment of various diseases have been reported in the literature (Muthu et al., 2006). Therefore, the search for active ingredients from plants is more relevant than ever. The use of plants as remedies goes back to the first man. Certainly the great ancient civilizations such as the Chinese, Indians, and North Africans provided the written evidence of man's ingenuity in using plants for the treatment of a wide variety of diseases (Gurni ,1981; Cinthia , 2014). The family Dilleniaceae consists of 18 genera and about 535 species distributed in four subfamilies.

Southern Africa has been marked by numerous conflicts from colonization to the post-independence period. Mozambique, one of the countries in this area, is no exception to this reality. Indeed, October 4, 1992, was the most important day in the history of Mozambique, as on this date the General Agreement of Peace of Mozambique was signed in Rome. It put an end to a civil war that had been bloodying the country for more than fifteen years, leaving a million dead. This agreement was obtained thanks to the mediation work of the Community of Sant'Egidio, after more than twelve years of presence in the country and twenty-seven months of negotiations between FRELIMO and RENAMO. What prompted the Community of Sant'Egidio to become involved in the Mozambican conflict? What methods did it use to bring peace to Mozambique? What factors contributed to the success of its intervention? These are the questions to which this book provides answers. It is a study of the first African mediation of the Community of Sant'Egidio. It exposes the set of intertwined strategies that contributed to the production of peace in Mozambique.

Over the past two years, low food crop production has become a major problem for the Burundian population. This low production leads to malnutrition which in turn causes chronic diseases. This led us to conduct a study entitled: "The impact of the use of human excreta for the improvement of food crop production in Burundi: case of the commune of Rumonge, in 2017", to promote the use of human excreta as a natural fertilizer to the vulnerable population. The study's objective is to contribute to the increase of yields of food crop producers through the use of human organic manure. The use of chemical fertilizers is expensive and it is difficult for the population to acquire them. In recent years, low yields of food crops have become a major problem for the population.

This work focuses on the development of a new approach based on deep learning to implement an efficient and flexible intrusion detection system using the behavioral approach and mainly intended for critical infrastructures and industrial control systems. Based on the assumption that modeling the normal network behavior of industrial control systems is feasible and reliable, because the operations performed in these systems are quite stationary and repetitive, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), a deep learning technique, are used on the NSL-KDD dataset, a reference dataset used for the implementation of intrusion detection systems. The performance of the approach is presented and compared to some previous works. The metrics used include the percentage of correct classification, accuracy and false positives show that the proposed approach improves the performance of previous systems.

The intra-state armed conflicts that broke out in the Horn of Africa from the 1950s onwards led to demographic bleeding. These armed conflicts, far from being isolated, reached a regional dimension due to the interference of neighboring countries. From 1963 to 1989, it was almost impossible for refugees and internally displaced persons to find refuge in areas controlled by the enemy. The international community was powerless to respond to this situation because of certain obstacles that limited its actions. Assistance to IDPs and refugees depended on the willingness of some local authorities to grant asylum to people on the basis of affinity. Since the end of the 1980s, with the disappearance of the obstacles to its interventions, the international community has been able to become effectively involved in the care of refugees and internally displaced persons. The assistance they receive no longer depends solely on the will of local authorities, but on that of the international community.

This study diagnoses the weaknesses of oral communication of learners of German in Côte d'Ivoire by examining the teaching-learning process. This is justified by the fact that learners have difficulty expressing themselves orally in this language. To understand this phenomenon, we undertook empirical research with learners, teachers and pedagogical supervisors, conducted a textbook analysis and observed classroom sessions based on cognitivist and socioconstructivist conceptions of foreign language acquisition. The results of the research show that the learners' speaking difficulties are due to a lack of initiative in the perspective of reinforcing the class' achievements, to the inadequacy of the teachers' training, to the inadequacy of the learning conditions and the didactic tools and to the irrelevance of the language tool to the learners' daily communication situations. We therefore suggest administrative, pedagogical and didactic devices for a better acquisition of oral communication skills.

This book proceeds to illuminate the highlights of the films of Jean-Luc and Pierre Dardenne who are internationally renowned filmmakers with several awards at the Cannes Film Festival. Their films engage the viewer and leave them with an intense emotional experience. This will be demonstrated through the textual and intertextual reading of a corpus of four selected films which are Rosetta (1999), The Son (2002), The Child (2005) and Two Days, One Night (2014). We also demonstrate through the analysis of the films that the Dardenne brothers are directors who do not only make social films as critics say, but also films that question morality where they put their characters in front of difficult moral choices between good and evil, they push them to question the duty and sacrifice and put them in front of doubt and guilt. The Dardenne brothers' work is united by several common points. This comes down to their desire to defend points of view that they hold dear, a philosophy about life.

Through a critical study of literary theories and their practical application to the chosen corpus, this handbook helps teachers, researchers, literary critics and students to better understand the mysteries of myth, literary myth and new realism.

This research analyzes the impact caused by the signing of a free trade agreement on Ecuador's trade balance during the period 2000-2019. Over the years it has been a topic of discussion and controversy what comes with being part of a free trade agreement. This is why it is important to know in detail and identify its true effects. Regarding the development of the research, in the first place, the calculation and analysis of the coverage rate, export coefficient and degree of openness is carried out. Then, the estimation of the econometric gravity model is carried out, applied to both the United States and the European Union. Based on the results obtained, it is shown that the variables are significant and therefore it is possible to interpret that the GDP variable is directly proportional to the flow, while the distance variable is indirect. Finally, it is concluded that free trade agreements do not have a negative impact on the Ecuadorian trade balance.

This update is a way to enhance the Ivorian cultural heritage under the leadership of our filmmakers who have understood that no one will come to do it for them. Thus, the dance, funerals, marriage, libation and divination have served as arguments to expose the rich cultural potential of these communities.

This book proposes to study the contemporary mechanisms of interport cooperation through the prism of the recomposition of the globalized maritime economy, its repercussions on the plurality of transnational port governance phenomena, and their possible applications in the Euro-Mediterranean space. The challenge is to reflect on a model of sustainable cooperation between the various port authorities of the Mediterranean, in anticipation of the holding of the first conference "Medports Forum 2016" held in Marseille in November 2016. This characterized a "concert of Mediterranean port authorities" precursor. Its organization by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and "Intermed gateways", the transnational interport partnership bringing together the port authorities of Barcelona, Marseille and Genoa, was the main thread of my internship at the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille (GPMM) between April and June 2016. This was carried out under the direction of Philippe Guillaumet, Project Manager in the Prospective and Evaluation Unit of the GPMM, and Secretary General of "Intermed Gateways".

With the advancement of technology, more and more techniques, tools and/or processes have been developed to improve the methods of application to be effectively incorporated into health systems. Occupational Therapy is not a discipline that has been left behind with the aforementioned, but it has also evolved its process in favor of favoring the intervention to people, thus emerging telerehabilitation. In this way, bringing closer the rehabilitation in rare pathologies such as Polymyositis.

Infection is the most serious post-operative complication of total knee arthroplasty. Its management is multidisciplinary and based on medical and surgical treatment. The aim of our work was to specify the epidemiological characteristics of these infections, as well as their bacteriological profile. We conducted a study involving 30 patients followed for infections on total knee prosthesis. The infections were classified as early, delayed and late. Our series included 22 women and 8 men. The average age was 63 years. The incidence of infection on total knee replacement was 3.3%. Initial arthroplasty was indicated for gonarthrosis in 23 patients and for rheumatic arthritis in 7 patients. There were 14 early, 13 delayed and 9 late infections.The most common organisms were staphylococci, isolated in 46% of cases, followed by gram-negative bacilli in 33% of infections and streptococci in 21%.

The present research book indicates the percentage of population incidence of the flower bud fly (Dasiops sp) in passion fruit (Passiflora ligularis; Juss., 1805) crops treated with rue, paico and higuerilla extracts. The paico extract showed greater efficacy after the first 15 days of evaluation with significant percentages. The results showed that the applications of plant extracts for the control of the flower bud fly in passion fruit have a statistically significant effect and are recommended for incorporation in Integrated Pest Management strategies in Pre Montane Tropical rainforest conditions (bp-PMT); reason for which the climate of the district is Dry Temperate (lower part) and Cold (upper part). In addition, the annual average is between 11° and 16 °C; thus there is drought in the upper part.
