After having gathered and organized information on creativity, pleasure and addictions, we tried to understand the different possible interactions between artistic creativity on the one hand and substance use on the other hand. We have successively studied the possibility that substances develop creativity, that the profession of artist and artistic activities encourage the use of psychoactive substances and finally that both are part of the same process with common roots and functions. We then considered more specifically the possible therapeutic applications and in particular the interest of art-mediated therapies in patients suffering from addiction problems. Even if the studies presented lack scientific rigor, their results seem to go in the direction of a better knowledge, a better expression and a better self-esteem. It would seem relevant to develop new research and to encourage the concrete and valued development of this type of therapy in addiction care facilities.

Craniopharyngioma is a rare benign epithelial tumor originating in the pituitary gland or pituitary gland and developing in the sellar and/or suprasellar region. Although benign and extracerebral, this tumor remains a serious pathology because of the frequent visual, endocrine and neuro-intellectual sequelae and the risk of recurrence. However, great progress has been made in surgery, radiotherapy and medical management of this disease, transforming a previously reserved prognosis.

Contrary to what we might think, the 1905 law maintained some privileges in favor of the clergy: for example, the front line was reserved for those under 30 years of age, men between 30 and 40 years of age were assigned as stretcher bearers, ambulance drivers and nurses close to the lines, and those between 40 and 45 years of age had to help care for the wounded in hospitals. Like other countries, Morocco has adopted new strategic approaches to sustainable development. It is a transition to a green economy that respects ecological balances and is likely to open up new opportunities for wealth creation and sustainable employment. With its strong political commitment to sustainable development, Morocco is resolutely moving towards the promotion of the green economy. A National Charter and framework laws on the environment and sustainable development have been adopted with the aim of placing all public policies within the framework of an NSSD. To succeed in the transition to a green economy, the environmental dimension must be integrated into the various existing economic sectors and a new industry must be created covering the green industrial sectors. It is also a historic opportunity to position Morocco in new industrial sectors, to strengthen its competitiveness by creating national champions for export in these technological fields and to contribute to the reduction of social and environmental externalities, particularly in certain disadvantaged regions.

The author believed that the poor performance of Congolese leaders was due to their ignorance of the tools of good management. By giving them reformist advice, he hoped to change their way of managing public affairs. Since the leaders seem to have blocked ears, more citizen noise is needed to finally make themselves heard and demand better living conditions.

A prospective and longitudinal study of 18 months (December 2012 to May 2014), which took place in the department of general surgery of the hospital of Segou on the management of 56 cases of obstetric urogenital fistulas with the objective: to study obstetric urogenital fistulas in the hospital of Segou. The age range of 21 to 30 years was the most represented (41.1%). 41% of the patients contracted the fistula before the age of 20. 64.3% of the patients had a height between 151-160 centimeters. The living environment was conjugal in 69.6% of cases. Fistulas less than one year old constituted 46.4% of the sample. 51.8% of the patients had not received prenatal consultations. 66.1% had a long labor of 24 to 72 hours. 80.4% of the patients delivered in a health facility, by caesarean section in 55.3% of the cases and resulted in stillbirth in 94.6% of the cases. The fistula was type I in 30.4% of the cases, located in a soft vagina in 85.7% of the cases. 62.5% of the patients were at their first surgical repair. The vaginal route was the most commonly used (71.4%). The fistulas were closed and dried in 62.5%.

Among the major difficulties facing democracy in the DRC is the administration of justice. This pillar of democracy poses a problem in many remote areas of the DRC due to its inadequacy or outright absence. The state operators of the security services take care of it and turn it into a kind of machine to dominate and exploit the population whose standard of living is decried because of poverty. Those who have been trained to render justice are few in number and are very often found in cities instead of villages where the need is great. In their absence, the agents of the ANR, the DGM, the public administration and the police manage to render injustice instead of justice. They also present themselves as supporters of the strong to the detriment of the weak, while international legal instruments and other internal laws recognize the equality of all human beings before the law. Our book denounces some practices not authorized by the law that are applied in the different structures of the state apparatus and proposes a number of recommendations.

Mali is a West African country rich in mineral resources such as gold, copper, iron and phosphate. The mining sector therefore plays an important role in the country's economy. In terms of human resource management in this sector, there are specific challenges related to continuous professional training, an essential means to develop workers' skills. Yet, SIDIBE. A & KAKA.Z.Y. (2023) have demonstrated in their research that continuing professional development (CPD) has a positive impact on the development of workers' skills in a gold mine and on its performance. The mining sector is known to be a challenging sector in terms of human resource management, as it often involves difficult and dangerous work, harsh working conditions and strict health and safety regulations. In this context, more and more mining companies are implementing occupational health and safety programs, training and skills development programs to improve employee safety and well-being. They are also seeking to improve communication with their employees.

The author of this book, who comes from the world of practice, was anxious to justify his position beforehand by two facts: his administrative experience and his prerequisites in the evaluation of public policies (state-centric and societocentric). In this respect, as a practitioner-researcher, he has taken the necessary steps to dispense with the fundamental theoretical elements of evaluation, after the preliminary and succinct exposition of a few practical cases of laws and regulations that would have benefited, in a context of effective evaluative culture, from ex ante evaluation, before their promulgation and publication. The underlying project of this contribution is to facilitate, through the diversified practice of evaluation, the application of these legal norms and to strengthen, by ricochet, public action in Gabon. The sources selected for this purpose are the literature and documentary reviews that strategically support this outline of a narrative of practice.

Farmers represent a primordial activity in rural or urban areas for obtaining an income through sales. This manual aims to deepen the knowledge of the breeders or beginners and farmers in the tropical zone.In the longer term, this knowledge should contribute to the fight against poverty and food insecurity through appropriate management, marketing and valorization of agricultural resources.

The Mexican Republic is located between the geographical coordinates: 14° 32' 27" South, 32° 43' 06" North, 86° 42' 36" Southeast and 118° 27' 24" West. There are 17 coastal states: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo; in such a way that the Mexican coast occupies an approximate surface of 1,020,965 km2, covering about 57.2% of the total surface of the territory. Climatic variability involves tropical to subtropical conditions; arid and semi-arid climates predominate in the north, and humid and sub-humid climates in the south. Approximately 37% of the territory corresponds to the sub-humid climate, which is present in the coastal plains of the Pacific, Gulf of Mexico and northeast of the Yucatan Peninsula. Although the enactment of laws on sexual violence deserves to be evaluated as a good step forward in the fight against sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, we note that the rigor with which the 2006 legislator considers the criminal procedure and the criminal sanctions that may follow in matters of sexual violence is not the same as regards the victim's main right, namely compensation. This compensation must in principle be paid by the perpetrator of the offence by virtue of the principle of responsibility provided for in article 258 of the CCLIII.19 We note that the protection of victims through compensation does not seem to be considered by the judge in the sense that the reparation of D.I. can only be pronounced in criminal matters as an accessory to the main sentence. The judge limits himself to pronouncing the judgment and sentencing the guilty party, but the victim's interest is not only to see the perpetrator of the crime sentenced but also, and above all, to see his rights restored.

Our study focused on the identification and analysis of the various methods of skills development within the companies: Ismailia gas, Total gas and Dima gas and also the impact of this development on the performance of companies. In the framework of our research we proceeded by a documentary study and a qualitative study. Thus, the analysis of the practices of the development of competences in the said companies showed that the training is the most used method, followed by the motivation, the recruitment and the mobility. These practices reinforce the knowledge of employees and promote a better match between job and profile as well as better productivity. This leads to a better performance of companies. From the answers found, we have deduced that the development of skills is a lever for company performance.

The depressions centered on the northeast of the western Mediterranean have a negative influence on rainfall in Oranien, since their action results in a drought in the west. The matorrals located on the mountainous massifs of northwestern Orania, with the steppes of western Algeria (Beni-Saf, Sidi Djilali, Sebdou, El-Bayadh, El-Aricha, Mecheria, El-Kreider, etc. ...) have been strongly marked by drought. Relying mainly on climatic data, bioclimatic syntheses (Thermal amplitude, xerothermic index, De Martonne index, umbrothermal diagrams of Bagnouls and Gaussen and the Q2 of Emberger) which advocate the often regressive dynamics of these plant formations quite degraded, Through the results, the author shows that the cold thermal variants favor the contact between the woody formations and the steppe formations with thermal determinism (formations with thorny xerophytes in cushions most often). The therophytic biological type seems to dominate in all the explored areas and their percentage can reach sometimes 48%.

Recent advances in oceanography and geodesy and the application of International Hydrographic Organization (IHO, 2008) standards to bathymetric data are arguments for revising the mapping of the aquatic environments of Côte d'Ivoire. The main results of this study concern the dynamism of the river and lagoon channels; the quality control of the data; the mapping of the river and lagoon environments; and the determination of the thickness of the sediments by the sounder. In addition, this study allows to estimate the evolutionary trend of the sedimentary dynamics. The morphometric parameters highlight the meandering and sinuous character of the fluvial sections. On the mature meandering sections, the dynamism is more pronounced on the channel bottom than on the banks. On immature meandering reaches, erosion is on the banks. The IHO standards probe speciations classify the riverine and lagoon environment data into special order and order 1. This classification shows that the bathymetric surveys are consistent with IHO standards.

The present work aimed to evaluate the influence of the variables of the osmotic dehydration process, using different temperatures (40, 50 and 60 °C) and different sucrose concentrations in the solutions (40, 50 and 60 °Brix) and convective drying of kiwi slices cv. Hayward (40, 50 and 60 °C) on the chemical, physical and physicochemical characteristics of the final product, besides evaluating the suitability of empirical and diffusive mathematical models for the description of the drying process using infinite wall geometry and first and third type boundary conditions. The mathematical models of Lewis, Wang and Singh, Henderson and Pabis, Page, Peleg and Silva et alii, were fitted to the experimental data obtained using the curve fitting software LAB Fit. For the analytical solution of the diffusion equation, the software "Prescribed Adsorption-Desorption 2.2" and "Convective Adsorption-Desorption 2.5" were used, which use the boundary conditions of the first and third type, enabling the determination of Biot number, effective diffusivity and convective mass transfer coefficient.

After numerous researches on the foundations of the sports space, the youth events and the institution that represents UEFA (holder of the rights of the event), this writing tries to analyze the whole human management implemented in a youth event with educational values. This includes the role and status of the committees designed and associated with the youth competition, but also the most effective management techniques that are most likely to meet the requirements of these committees. The aim is to anticipate and explain, through a very schematic work facilitating the understanding, the richness and constraints of an event taking place in one year's time, day for day, from the most global analysis (the UNSS and the different partners of the event) to the most local one (the interaction between two commissions necessary to the preparation of the event).

Surgery with adjuvant chemotherapy is currently the gold standard in the management of locally advanced non-metastatic colon cancer. However, a peri-operative strategy is beginning to emerge. The aim of this randomized trial is to report a series of 110 patients operated on for locally advanced non-metastatic colon cancer with evaluation of the impact of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy versus primary surgery in terms of overall survival and recurrence-free survival, with the quality of the complete surgery and histological tumor regression as well as postoperative morbidity and mortality as endpoints. The results show a benefit of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the quality of surgical excision by down sizing as well as a reduction of major postoperative morbidity and on the anatomopathological results by down staging and partial histological response. There seems to be a superiority of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in terms of median overall survival and recurrence-free survival. This new peri-operative strategy seems to provide tumor control. It would be a kind of pre-enabling for surgery.

However, before doing so, it is necessary to specify that the Republic of Tulip excludes any possibility of the existence of an island under the terms of Article 121 of the Montego Bay Convention and assumes that if there is a qualification of the Haut Fond Découvrant, it can only be an island or a simple rock devoid of "any habitation" and of "any credible economic activity". In addition, the Republic of Tulip confirms the legitimacy of its exploration activities taking place in its own maritime space within the limits of its EEZ based on the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly on the right of the State to freely dispose of its natural resources.

Like other public sector organizations, universities are concerned by reform programs related to the imperatives of development, efficiency research and performance improvement, while at the same time being part of an evolutionary logic aimed at aligning with the best practices and international standards in this area. In this context, management control is emerging as a lever for steering performance and regulating activities and actions. However, the general environment of public organizations makes it difficult to adopt and implement management tools that have long been reserved for the private sphere, and to get all stakeholders to adhere to a performance-based management approach. Through theoretical reflection and empirical evidence, we have tried to understand the extent to which management control systems can influence performance evaluation and steering practices and to verify whether the theoretical expectations of these systems with regard to strengthening the accountability of university managers are true or not.

The research investigated the perception of value of the main stakeholders regarding the participation in a crowdfunding process. To this end, the object of analysis was the Quilombo Solar Project, present on the Kickante platform, which is an online crowdfunding platform. Aiming at a better understanding of this new social phenomenon, a qualitative research was conducted with the main stakeholders, in which the author of the Quilombo Solar Project, a supporter and the person responsible for the Kickante platform stood out. The research aimed at the in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the Kickante platform performance in the value creation process, being characterized as exploratory and descriptive. The study highlights that even being little studied in Brazil, the crowdfunding dynamics presents itself as a creative and useful opportunity in the face of the national economic crisis scenario. One also concludes that stakeholders' perception of value is included in a "new moment" that considers the consumer/individual as a whole, which includes motivations in the sentimental field.

During the formation of this work, the requirements of the guiding and regulatory documents specified in the list of literature have been taken into account. The material presented in the monograph is timely and very useful.

The crisis of the Empire that began in 1870 and culminated with the civil-military movement that overthrew the monarchy in 1889 was lived intensely in São Paulo by a group of men of letters linked to emerging economic sectors and eager for prestige and visibility in an extremely conservative and noble society. They conducted a concerted and intentional movement of political confrontation against the dominant status through manifestos, class congresses, clubs and political parties, Masonic brotherhoods, press organs, interventions in the fields of education and culture, structures from which they built networks of sociability and repertoires of ideas. The political action of the Paulist men of letters aimed to put into practice a project of power that was able to contemplate localized interests, for which they forged a repertoire within which the term "republic" functioned much more as an appeal to co-opt adhesions in favor of their project of power and much less as a belief and conviction in the republican values of citizenship, respect for the public thing, separation between public and private and universalization of individual liberties.

This analysis involves a qualitative study in the scope of non-formal education in science museums. It sought to analyze the educational action the Grand Challenge, developed by the Exploratory Science Museum of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), between 2007 and 2012, from the point of view of some guiding teachers. The data were collected in the years 2013 and 2014, contemplating qualitative research methods such as participant observation, semi-structured interview and documental analysis of the action. The results obtained were extracted from interviews conducted with mentor teachers of teams participating in the Grand Challenge and the treatment and discussion were based on content analysis including inference and interpretation. The educational potential of the Grand Challenge was observed as far as teachers, students and changes within the institution are concerned. Qualitative studies of educational actions, such as the Grand Challenge, allow us to understand the audience, as well as to understand the motivations and interests of the target audience, both teachers and students. Educational activities developed by museums, such as "The Grand Challenge", contribute greatly to the development of science and technology.

The present research results from our readings, informal reflections, debates in the media and our perception of comments from society in general, about knowing how to read or the failure to learn how to read in Mozambique, mainly in Primary Education. The center of analysis is the fact that it seems to us that children demonstrate poor basic reading and writing competence after completing Grade 7. The objective of this study is to analyze the contribution of children's literature in the teaching-learning process of reading in Primary School. To do so, we asked ourselves the following questions: (i) to what extent does the Primary School Curricular Plan contribute to the success of the teaching of children's literature and reading in Primary School?In this paper we propose the introduction of the teaching of reading, using children's literature of local tradition, as this literature, besides having a playful component, also has a pedagogical one.

Investors need to understand the characteristics and risks associated with mining projects before making investment decisions, and the mineral resource and reserve estimation standards provide essential information in this regard.In addition, these standards ensure that mining companies comply with disclosure and transparency requirements. Publicly traded companies are required to submit information on their mineral resources and reserves to regulatory authorities and the Mineral Resource and Reserve Estimate Standards provide criteria and procedures for such disclosures.

In addition, the ISO standards are visited and explained through examples allowing the student researcher to cite sources and write references in accordance with recognized international standards.

This course manuscript is an introduction to project management, which is an approach aimed at organizing the smooth running of a project from start to finish. It is intended for students in the second cycle of Science and Technology. Indeed, the approaches of the project management are based on the division of a project in controllable subsets which is essential to the conduct of the project and thus to its good outcome and its success.
