Communication, whatever it may be, allows any organizational structure to maintain its image for sustainable development. This study is a contribution to the analysis of issues related to institutional communication for effective management of local governance in the commune of Bopa. The data used are of a socio-demographic and communication nature. The methodological approach consisted of collecting the data, processing and analyzing it with different software and the SWOT model. The analysis of the results shows that the quality of the reception at the Bopa town hall often depends on the social status and the relationship that the user has with the town hall staff. The means of communication at the town hall include the minutes of sessions, the organization of meetings and consultations between the council and the population. In addition, the participation of the population is increasingly extended to many actors: residents' associations, youth organizations, women's groups, traditional authorities, local businesses, etc.

The book addresses Community Forest Management in communities of the Amazon, presenting economic, social and environmental results. It demonstrates a form of rationality capable of providing economic reproduction for the traditional populations of the region. On the social side, the strengthening of community organizations and the consequent benefits through partnerships with governmental and non-governmental agencies. In the ecological aspect, it deals with the reduction of the negative impacts of logging on the forest, materialized in the reduction of wood waste, reduction in the size of the deforested area, and less damage to the forest. Forest Management is approached as the instrument capable of articulating productive practices with ecological, technological and social processes, reconciling scientific knowledge with the environmental knowledge of traditional communities in the Brazilian Amazon. The work exposes the practice of Community Forest Management, as an economic activity that can become sustainable, if it manages to obey nature's main foundation: heterogeneity.

Dentro del término general de ¿Innovación Social¿ existen diversas acepciones que van desde aquella que se produce fuera de la comunidad que se quiere impactar, hasta aquella donde la comunidad forma parte parte integrante del equipo que lo produce. Este último será el significado utilizado en esta propuesta. In November 2011, CENI organized the presidential and legislative elections in the DRC. The failure of these elections led to a political, socio-economic, security and genocide crisis. The author of the book, a human rights defender from Bandundu, served as a national observer in synergy with international observers from the EU. This book, composed of three parts, makes the reader discover, in the first part, the enormous potentialities of Bandundu, the organization of the elections and its peripatetic before, during and after the day of the election. The election of Congolese women in the 2006 and 2011 elections is problematic. Its analysis with supporting statistics is made in the second. Proposals for the realization of parity in the DRC are made. The third part of the book deals with the security situation and human rights violations committed in Bandundu. This book has as its research object the interface between drug addiction and criminality, from a look at the City of São Paulo. An increasing number of people who commit some crime as a way to get money to use narcotic substances, or because they have used narcotic substances, end up committing crimes, which leads us to think about the relationship between the user of psychoactive substances and criminal practice, hence the need to implement the Therapeutic Justice, a partnership between Justice and Health, a type of treatment directed to the authors of illegal acts of less offensive potential, associated with the consumption of narcotic substances. It is already a benefit of the Law, in which the user, instead of serving time, commits to a treatment monitored by the judiciary. In historical terms, it is still a very recent modality in Brazil, it began to be implemented in Rio Grande do Sul in 1999, and has been extended to other Brazilian states, such as Rio de Janeiro, Recife, and others. In São Paulo, it started in 2002/2003 in the Santana Forum, an action initiated by the Public Ministry, by the prosecutor Dr. Mário Sergio Sobrinho.

Cheeses are the most consumed dairy food by Brazilians. As a rule, they are subjected to refrigeration, and there is a concern with pathogenic psychrotrophic microorganisms, such as Listeria monocytogenes, whose importance in public health has grown since the mid-1980s, being associated with outbreaks of food diseases, mainly involving milk and dairy products. The problems found in Brazilian cheese production are related to the poor conditions of the raw material, the manufacturing conditions and the lack or inefficiency of the cold chain, which create favorable conditions for contamination and development of the pathogen. This is equally true for raw milk cheeses and those produced with pasteurized or microfiltered milk, given the possibility of post-processing contamination. The frequency of cases of listeriosis transmitted by cheeses shows the importance of this food and other dairy products in the epidemiological chain of transmission of Listeria spp, mainly due to the importance they have in the habits of the healthy population and in the nutrition of children, pregnant women and the elderly.

The country that guides our reflection is the Bamoun Kingdom, located in the western part of Cameroon. Giant cell arteritis is a plurifocal inflammatory panarteritis of the elderly, predominantly in large and medium-sized vessels. Its clinical picture is polymorphous. It remains a severe disease due to its ocular, neurological and vascular complications. It must be evoked in any elderly subject complaining of headaches with the presence of ainflammatory syndrome. Corticosteroid therapy remains the reference treatment and should be started as soon as possible. Clinical trials have shown that a number of targeted agents have superior clinical efficacy and steroid-sparing effects.

In southeastern Tunisia, agricultural development has led to increasing pressure on water resources and has widened the gap between water resources and needs. Pituitary tumors correspond to processes, generally histologically benign, developing at the expense of the structures and elements of the pituitary gland. These tumors are generally subdivided into glandular (endocrine) tumors called pituitary neuroendocrine tumors or pituitary adenomas (PA) and those developed at the expense of other structures, non-endocrine, such as meninges (meningiomas), sellar wall (chordomas), embryonic remnants (such as craniopharyngiomas), fat cells (lipomas) and vascular. The work presented in this book deals with the physico-chemical and thermo-mechanical aspects accompanying the reactions involved in the preparation of activated carbon from lignin by the physical method. Although the physical method only involves carbonisation and gasification, oxidation of lignin carbonisates at low temperatures has been shown to be useful prior to gasification due to the formation of a plastic phase by cracking during the carbonisation of lignin. This phase is revealed by an increase in the volume of the material and by microscopic characterisation. The development of the plastic phase slows down the decomposition of the material and gives the carbonisate a high thermal stability. The latter is reduced by treating the carbonisation residue, before gasification, in air at moderate temperatures. The operating conditions are chosen to oxidise the material without destructuring it.

Life in rural areas poses particular challenges for people with disabilities in accessing education, training and employment opportunities, despite the enormous efforts made by States and non-governmental organisations. They face many obstacles that prevent them from fully participating in society, as they are often exposed to social exclusion. Disability can aggravate socio-economic status and poverty in a number of ways, including its impact on education, employment, income and the flow of disability-related expenses. Action Research on Disability is about providing support for disability rights and inclusive growth for sustainable human development. It aims to observe a disability inclusion strategy. This research aims to raise awareness of disability inclusion among development actors from the grassroots. It will lead to the inclusion of disability in the implementation of national and local development policies.

Chronic pain is a common complication of ankle sprains and a common pattern in trauma. The aim of this study was to determine the characteristics and etiologies of persistent pain related to ankle sprains. We conducted a prospective, single-center study over a 6-month period. All physical medicine consultants with chronic ankle pain persisting for 2 months or more after a sprain were included. We included 25 patients. The diagnoses retained were mainly tarsal sinus syndrome (11.5%), posterior impingement syndrome (7.7%), subtallian pain (11.5%), chronic lateral instability (19.3%). In addition, no diagnosis could be retained in (15.4%) of the population. The diversity of diagnoses found by this study, as well as those in the literature, stems from the multiplicity of anatomical structures that may be initially injured, which testifies to the diagnostic difficulty of persistent pain following an initial sprain.

The understanding of the occurrences of sub-surface waters, in quantity, quality and their hydrogeochemical interactions, necessarily goes through the understanding of the geological history, from the way and the environment in which the sediments were transported and deposited, in the case of sedimentary rocks, as well as how the magmatic and metamorphic rocks originated, including the structural features after their formation. In the face of these issues, the role of the geologist in groundwater prospecting, understanding simultaneously its inter-relation with surface waters and climatic influences, is fundamental for the propositions of sustainable uses of these natural resources. On this issue, it is interesting to mention that it is highlighted in the "Universal Declaration of Water Rights", established by the UN on 22 March 1992, that water should not be wasted, polluted or poisoned.

Caricature existed long before the newspaper and even journalism were born. The system of development aid set up in the aftermath of independence in the 1960s for developing countries by donors was too full of hope. It was intended to be a means of consolidating the sovereignty of these newly independent states. The last few decades have seen an improvement in the prognosis of colon cancer due to better screening, earlier diagnosis and more effective surgery. In this book, the author analyses the right to education in the DRC in the light of national and international legal instruments in a context where, more than two decades after the resignation of the organising power in the effective management of education, breathless parents allocate what they call PRIMEs to teachers to contribute to the instruction of their children. This system of bonuses or taking charge of teachers by parents clearly violates the child's right to education, which is enshrined in Article 43 of the Congolese Constitution: "primary education is compulsory and free".
