Communication, whatever it may be, allows any organizational structure to maintain its image for sustainable development. This study is a contribution to the analysis of issues related to institutional communication for effective management of local governance in the commune of Bopa. The data used are of a socio-demographic and communication nature. The methodological approach consisted of collecting the data, processing and analyzing it with different software and the SWOT model. The analysis of the results shows that the quality of the reception at the Bopa town hall often depends on the social status and the relationship that the user has with the town hall staff. The means of communication at the town hall include the minutes of sessions, the organization of meetings and consultations between the council and the population. In addition, the participation of the population is increasingly extended to many actors: residents' associations, youth organizations, women's groups, traditional authorities, local businesses, etc.

The book addresses Community Forest Management in communities of the Amazon, presenting economic, social and environmental results. It demonstrates a form of rationality capable of providing economic reproduction for the traditional populations of the region. On the social side, the strengthening of community organizations and the consequent benefits through partnerships with governmental and non-governmental agencies. In the ecological aspect, it deals with the reduction of the negative impacts of logging on the forest, materialized in the reduction of wood waste, reduction in the size of the deforested area, and less damage to the forest. Forest Management is approached as the instrument capable of articulating productive practices with ecological, technological and social processes, reconciling scientific knowledge with the environmental knowledge of traditional communities in the Brazilian Amazon. The work exposes the practice of Community Forest Management, as an economic activity that can become sustainable, if it manages to obey nature's main foundation: heterogeneity.

In November 2011, CENI organized the presidential and legislative elections in the DRC. The failure of these elections led to a political, socio-economic, security and genocide crisis. The author of the book, a human rights defender from Bandundu, served as a national observer in synergy with international observers from the EU. This book, composed of three parts, makes the reader discover, in the first part, the enormous potentialities of Bandundu, the organization of the elections and its peripatetic before, during and after the day of the election. The election of Congolese women in the 2006 and 2011 elections is problematic. Its analysis with supporting statistics is made in the second. Proposals for the realization of parity in the DRC are made. The third part of the book deals with the security situation and human rights violations committed in Bandundu. Latent conflicts that may one day degenerate exist and must find a lasting solution for peace: the case of the Batwa, a Pygmy ethnic minority group. Sociologists, historians, anthropologists and political scientists should further investigate the issue.

This book has as its research object the interface between drug addiction and criminality, from a look at the City of São Paulo. An increasing number of people who commit some crime as a way to get money to use narcotic substances, or because they have used narcotic substances, end up committing crimes, which leads us to think about the relationship between the user of psychoactive substances and criminal practice, hence the need to implement the Therapeutic Justice, a partnership between Justice and Health, a type of treatment directed to the authors of illegal acts of less offensive potential, associated with the consumption of narcotic substances. It is already a benefit of the Law, in which the user, instead of serving time, commits to a treatment monitored by the judiciary. In historical terms, it is still a very recent modality in Brazil, it began to be implemented in Rio Grande do Sul in 1999, and has been extended to other Brazilian states, such as Rio de Janeiro, Recife, and others. In São Paulo, it started in 2002/2003 in the Santana Forum, an action initiated by the Public Ministry, by the prosecutor Dr. Mário Sergio Sobrinho.

The aging of the population is not synonymous with disease but, on the contrary, is a sign of good health, "It is an indicator of the improvement of global health. However, the loss of autonomy is a "normal" element of aging that must be taken into account by public authorities and caregivers. In spite of this dependence linked to old age and the difficulties that this may entail, the elderly have only one desire: to remain living at home as long as possible. If this is a choice that is respected, it is not a risk-free choice of life. Indeed, this choice of life has its limits and would not be possible without the external help of the "caregivers", who will then join forces with this elderly relative but also with the various health professionals working at home so that this elderly person who is losing his or her autonomy can live at home in complete safety for as long as possible.

Based on the anthropocentric assumptions of the classical notions of subjective law, theoretical discussions about animal rights are also developed, sometimes framing them as true subjects of law, sometimes placing them as object of the legal relationship, but always starting from essentialist and/or ontological premises, which produce paradoxes and paralyze science. I understand that attempts to frame animal law in the classic and dichotomous distinction "subject versus object" runs into some practical and theoretical problems, which I intended to address in my master's research, proposing as "comfortable" contribution to this discussion the theory of Luhmann's autopoietic communicative systems, which allows the replacement of the subject of law as an entity, as a concrete person, by the idea of communication.

It should be noted that the Congolese diplomacy in the zone of high sensitivity of concentric circles in Central Africa does not have a positive impact in the diplomatic protection of the Congolese abroad and has not been involved effectively in the diplomatic protection of its nationals expelled in an inhumane way from the Rep. Congo and Angola foreign policy of the Third Republic does not have an effective guiding ideology to transform all the factors that the DRC has, to make its foreign policy very efficient. The DRC has privileged the settlement through diplomatic channels, advocating the principle of good neighborliness, despite the exactions, rapes and crimes against humanity. The files have been dragging on at the level of the major joint commissions between the DRC and its two neighbors. No grievance is filed in the competent jurisdictions for the defense of human rights. We have called for the intervention of the UN through the ECJ and ICC to examine, sanction and restore the Congolese victim to their rights. If we think that the Congolese expelled from the Republic of Congo and Angola will suffer international discrimination.

Cheeses are the most consumed dairy food by Brazilians. As a rule, they are subjected to refrigeration, and there is a concern with pathogenic psychrotrophic microorganisms, such as Listeria monocytogenes, whose importance in public health has grown since the mid-1980s, being associated with outbreaks of food diseases, mainly involving milk and dairy products. The problems found in Brazilian cheese production are related to the poor conditions of the raw material, the manufacturing conditions and the lack or inefficiency of the cold chain, which create favorable conditions for contamination and development of the pathogen. This is equally true for raw milk cheeses and those produced with pasteurized or microfiltered milk, given the possibility of post-processing contamination. The frequency of cases of listeriosis transmitted by cheeses shows the importance of this food and other dairy products in the epidemiological chain of transmission of Listeria spp, mainly due to the importance they have in the habits of the healthy population and in the nutrition of children, pregnant women and the elderly.

The country that guides our reflection is the Bamoun Kingdom, located in the western part of Cameroon. This kingdom, which was born at the end of the 14th century, is one of the societies in sub-Saharan Africa that was able to establish a brilliant civilisation and a strong institutional organisation. The historical analysis of one of its institutions, namely the pre-colonial royal army, highlights the different missions observed through the great battles fought before the colonial period, its restructuring and the multiple reforms it underwent through two main sovereigns: King Mbuembue Mandù (1757-1817) and King Njoya (1884-1931). The reigns of Nsangù ngùngùre (1863-1876) and Ngbetkom (1814-1817) were equally marked by great events that characterised the epic and military exploits of the Bamoun army. The organisation of the military body took place during the 19th century. King Njoya who acceded to the throne in 1884 in a context marked by civil and fratricidal wars, colonisation and imperialism, was forced to renovate his army to face new security challenges.

Science is a tool given to man by God the Creator, and the Bible is its original catalog. to manipulate it outside its catalog is unproductive and a sign of contempt for its inventor. This book contains key principles and techniques in corporate governance from the great biblical leaders: Jesus Christ, Moses, David, Nehemiah, Paul, etc. Moses' construction of the sanctuary illustrates the functions of management: planning, organizing, directing and controlling. Moses is the pioneer of management by exception, the PERT technique, the iron fist of the Fayolian manager, three levels of decision making in the company: strategic, tactical and operational, etc. Like Nehemiah, in the quest for business success, the manager must pray to God, remove barriers around him, be patient, respect ecosystems, be discreet in planning, banish prejudices against women, etc. Science follows the Bible and not the other way around. This book is for managers of profit and non-profit, private and public interest, formal and informal companies worldwide.

The water problem is not limited to the lack of resources but also extends to the problem of degradation of water quality. Water is threatened by pollution nowadays due to such degradation of water resources, and knowledge of water quality is a prerequisite for the establishment of a management system that will help to ensure water supply in the future.

Pituitary tumors correspond to processes, generally histologically benign, developing at the expense of the structures and elements of the pituitary gland. These tumors are generally subdivided into glandular (endocrine) tumors called pituitary neuroendocrine tumors or pituitary adenomas (PA) and those developed at the expense of other structures, non-endocrine, such as meninges (meningiomas), sellar wall (chordomas), embryonic remnants (such as craniopharyngiomas), fat cells (lipomas) and vascular. These different types of tumors reflect the anatomical complexity of this region. They can be sporadic or of genetic origin. Their clinical presentation depends on their location and the existence or not of excessive hormonal production. This book discusses the diagnostic strategy and therapeutic approach for each type of pituitary tumor.

The work presented in this book deals with the physico-chemical and thermo-mechanical aspects accompanying the reactions involved in the preparation of activated carbon from lignin by the physical method. Although the physical method only involves carbonisation and gasification, oxidation of lignin carbonisates at low temperatures has been shown to be useful prior to gasification due to the formation of a plastic phase by cracking during the carbonisation of lignin. This phase is revealed by an increase in the volume of the material and by microscopic characterisation. The development of the plastic phase slows down the decomposition of the material and gives the carbonisate a high thermal stability. The latter is reduced by treating the carbonisation residue, before gasification, in air at moderate temperatures. The operating conditions are chosen to oxidise the material without destructuring it.

The term "fintechs" is a contraction of "financial technology". This concept refers to technologies associated with the financial sector. Fintechs refer to non-financial startups with a strong technological character that target the financial sector. In the 1990s, fintechs represented archaic software in computers, then mobile applications after the advent of smartphones in the late 2000s and finally advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) since the mid-2010s. The services offered by fintech companies are diverse and varied, and evolve daily. The concept of fintech is constantly evolving, as it keeps pace with the development of new technologies. Indeed, access to a day-to-day account is the first step towards financial inclusion, thus improving the overall standard of living of individuals. By customising and adapting their offers to a wider audience than traditional banking institutions, fintechs give customers an alternative to going through the intermediary of banks.

Life in rural areas poses particular challenges for people with disabilities in accessing education, training and employment opportunities, despite the enormous efforts made by States and non-governmental organisations. They face many obstacles that prevent them from fully participating in society, as they are often exposed to social exclusion. Disability can aggravate socio-economic status and poverty in a number of ways, including its impact on education, employment, income and the flow of disability-related expenses. Action Research on Disability is about providing support for disability rights and inclusive growth for sustainable human development. It aims to observe a disability inclusion strategy. This research aims to raise awareness of disability inclusion among development actors from the grassroots. It will lead to the inclusion of disability in the implementation of national and local development policies.

Chronic pain is a common complication of ankle sprains and a common pattern in trauma. The aim of this study was to determine the characteristics and etiologies of persistent pain related to ankle sprains. We conducted a prospective, single-center study over a 6-month period. All physical medicine consultants with chronic ankle pain persisting for 2 months or more after a sprain were included. We included 25 patients. The diagnoses retained were mainly tarsal sinus syndrome (11.5%), posterior impingement syndrome (7.7%), subtallian pain (11.5%), chronic lateral instability (19.3%). In addition, no diagnosis could be retained in (15.4%) of the population. The diversity of diagnoses found by this study, as well as those in the literature, stems from the multiplicity of anatomical structures that may be initially injured, which testifies to the diagnostic difficulty of persistent pain following an initial sprain.

The issue of birth control remains a concern in that it implies a value judgment on life to come that both limits and attracts us. It limits us, not only because life and its understanding are complex. This complexity is understood as a questioning that divides opinions and leaves the majority in a pure obscurantism. Life attracts us because, on the one hand, all its considerations and consequences must be elucidated in the sense that they touch human dignity. In the face of the socio-cultural change, the interpretation of life... that have led the world to the passage of the western civilization from modernity to postmodernity, from modern paradigms to postmodern paradigms, namely the New World Ethics. Man is turned to nature to understand it. This book is solely based on the problem of birth control in order to elaborate a sexual ethic of natural birth control based on man's freedom to perpetuate his existence and increase the quality of life, a morally permissible action stripped of all external influence.

This is in spite of the theories, models, economic solutions available or the abundant presence of scholars and experts in the field. Our research has uncovered the main phenomenon that has always prevented and complicated the sustainable resolution of problems in nations, while at the same time transmitting the problems from generation to generation. Our research has just discovered the main phenomenon that prevents even the great scholars and experts from discovering the root causes that produce most of the problem. Now with this discovery, the world will easily solve its public problems. The results of our research provide a new approach to sustainable problem solving. TO THE DRC The results of our research bring the only adequate solution that is missing not only today but since the time of Mobutu to solve durably the socio-political crisis of the DRC.

The understanding of the occurrences of sub-surface waters, in quantity, quality and their hydrogeochemical interactions, necessarily goes through the understanding of the geological history, from the way and the environment in which the sediments were transported and deposited, in the case of sedimentary rocks, as well as how the magmatic and metamorphic rocks originated, including the structural features after their formation. It is important to stress that without this knowledge it becomes impractical to determine which types of reservoir rocks can be more or less productive in water. In the face of these issues, the role of the geologist in groundwater prospecting, understanding simultaneously its inter-relation with surface waters and climatic influences, is fundamental for the propositions of sustainable uses of these natural resources. On this issue, it is interesting to mention that it is highlighted in the "Universal Declaration of Water Rights", established by the UN on 22 March 1992, that water should not be wasted, polluted or poisoned.

Caricature existed long before the newspaper and even journalism were born. Throughout this essay a complex but entertaining visual and ontological construct was assembled from which it is possible to walk through all the reciprocal themes between the history of social communication and the evolution of the language and formats of the caricature: its past, eternal and always distant and indecipherable in its communicative intention; its present, a daily event in the opinion section of online newspapers and in the public showcase of social networks; and its future, with the transition to digital format, structured by different concentrations of pixels, depending on the screen that houses it, by the click of a button, the "graphic joke" has been transfigured into an "animated journalistic cartoon", or "animated graphic editorial joke".

The system of development aid set up in the aftermath of independence in the 1960s for developing countries by donors was too full of hope. It was intended to be a means of consolidating the sovereignty of these newly independent states. Years later, this system proved to be a source of constraint, of inflection of the self-determination of the developing countries with the misconduct of certain state leaders of these developing countries, now DCs. This book highlights the real influence of the functioning of the aid system on the self-determination of developing countries. It reveals the constraint, the conditionality of aid and the interference of donors. It analyses the instruments proposed by the donors, the PRSP/HIPC couple, to help this self-determination to assert itself again after a tacit recognition of the failure of aid. The legal analysis of these mechanisms is accompanied by concrete alternative proposals for developing countries. Proper use by both donors and developing countries will make development cooperation more effective and capable of achieving its objectives of emancipation.

This book deals with some basic ideas about classical and contemporary science and the possible dialogue with religious knowledge, in the context of modern and postmodern frameworks. This relationship is based on authors such as Kuhn, De Gortari, Villoro, Maslow and Kung. The modern and postmodern approach is characterized based on Pico, Derrida and Pérez Cortés and classical and contemporary science with González Vera. The relationship between science and religion is concretized in the psychological discipline, in terms of the closure or opening of new horizons of research work. The linkage of these modes of knowledge, it seems that it could occur with reference to postmodernity and the sciences of complexity.

The last few decades have seen an improvement in the prognosis of colon cancer due to better screening, earlier diagnosis and more effective surgery. The improved outcome of this surgery is a result of the development of minimally invasive surgery and resuscitation facilities. However, anastomotic release remains the most feared surgical complication. This complication is responsible for an increase in morbidity and mortality and in the overall cost of management. Prevention certainly requires the identification of the predictive factors of this complication.Through this work, we try to describe the pathophysiology of anastomotic release as well as its main risk factors in the literature.

In this book, the author analyses the right to education in the DRC in the light of national and international legal instruments in a context where, more than two decades after the resignation of the organising power in the effective management of education, breathless parents allocate what they call PRIMEs to teachers to contribute to the instruction of their children. This system of bonuses or taking charge of teachers by parents clearly violates the child's right to education, which is enshrined in Article 43 of the Congolese Constitution: "primary education is compulsory and free". Many children are currently excluded from the basic education system, as their parents can no longer offer them the right and/or the possibility to continue school. The Congolese state has subscribed to international commitments guaranteed by international legal instruments and cannot invoke the lack of resources. It must allocate sufficient resources and demonstrate an explicit political will to ensure that the Congolese school becomes a school of excellence once again.
