Monitoring and evaluation of the quality of groundwater resources

In southeastern Tunisia, agricultural development has led to increasing pressure on water resources and has widened the gap between water resources and needs. The water problem is not limited to the lack of resources but also extends to the problem of degradation of water quality. Water is threatened by pollution nowadays due to such degradation of water resources, and knowledge of water quality is a prerequisite for the establishment of a management system that will help to ensure water supply in the future.
