"The sooner organizations begin to see the environment as their main challenge and as a competitive opportunity, the greater the chance that they will survive" (TACHIWAZA, 2002, p.24). In view of this, it is easy to see that concern for the environment is growing more and more within organizations. However, as a rule, companies are still interested in maximizing results; however, attempts to reconcile this objective with maintaining environmental quality is progress, albeit on a small scale (RIBEIRO, 2006).

"Written production is a meaningful act that leads learners to form and express their ideas, feelings, interests and concerns, in order to communicate them to others". This form of communication requires the application of skills and strategies that the learner will gradually master in the course of his or her school learning. The model for learning to write is only built once the goal has been considered. At the end of these courses, the learner should be able to master reading techniques, identify and construct the overall meaning of a written message, distinguish and master all types of texts according to the author's intention, master writing processes and techniques, write and argue in an essay, communicate in writing and develop autonomy and initiation.

The evolution of the form of ownership in the contemporary capitalist regime is the subject of this study linked to the pension system. Historically, from individual ownership, we moved on to that of stock companies, and today a new type of ownership has emerged in the form of Pension Funds. It is not the only form of ownership, but it has acquired great importance because of the monetary values that support it and because it constitutes social ownership. This text, therefore, is aimed at showing a phenomenon which, starting from the examination of traditional capitalism, explains the causes of the depersonalization of the capitalist. This is the core of this analysis. That is, pension funds have no direct personal owners but play an increasingly important role in the financial circuits of the world economy, controlling today more than 40 trillion dollars in the 22 most important economies of the world. This is also the case in the Dominican Republic, where the Pension Funds, protected by Law 87-01 on Social Security, is the great economic phenomenon of the last years, modifying the way of existence of Dominican capitalism.

Many authors recreated the life and death of the heroine. Federico García Lorca produced a play based on historical and fictional facts about Mariana: Romance popular en tres estampas (1925). The theatrical work was constructed from popular material of oral transmission and literary material that emerged since 1836; thus a new writing was created by mixing the popular material and the poet's cult material.

Children's health constitutes one of the priorities of society, not only in the absence of diseases but also in all the determinants. According to estimates, more than 11 million children die before reaching 5 years of age; and more than 8 million infants die during their first year of life presenting rates ranging from 6.9 x 1000 live births in developed countries to 106.2 x 1000 live births in developing countries. Low birth weight (LBW) is the most important predictor of infant mortality because of its association with increased mortality risk. Globally, it is estimated that 1 in 6 children are born with low birth weight, with an estimated rate of 17% worldwide. Early stimulation allows the health professional to perform actions with children with neurodevelopmental disorders or at risk of suffering them, and thus reduce the incidence of these.

Since the 1990s, the Great Lakes Region of Central Africa (Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi) has been the epicenter of ethnic conflicts between Hutu and Tutsi provoked by a climate of oppression and social, economic and political discrimination. However, beyond their inevitable internationalization, the struggles between Hutu and Tutsi have been characterized by an unconscionable violation of human rights attributable to a wide repertoire of extreme violence and the active participation of civil society in the clashes, which has decisively and brutally killed people they considered close to them, and even family members. The truth is that this outcome would not have been possible without the support of a discourse of ethnic hatred imposed by the elites through the media, which have a great impact on African society and have been used since colonial times as instrumentalizers of ethnic hatred in order to create deep divisions between individuals and provoke violent social movements working towards a specific end and interest.

Chronic illnesses have long-term consequences on the independence of older adults; caregiving situations arise to help provide quality of life and well-being. As a consequence, long-term caregiving has adverse effects on caregivers, and caregivers' social networks are also critically affected. For this reason, the structure of caregivers' social networks is explored using the Social Network Analysis method (SNA), with a Personal Network Analysis approach (PNA). In this way, the network structure was analyzed by means of the so-called centrality measures, and the level of influence of the variables of the social environment surrounding a person (ego), the variables of composition of the alter attributes and their relationships were explored. Additionally, the possible level of burden that a caregiver develops as a consequence of prolonged care of a dependent person was identified. This text presents the results of this analysis.

Research has shown that cognitive rehabilitation in schizophrenia is necessary given the cognitive impairment observed in different neuropsychological tests, with major failures in attention, memory and executive functions. The purpose of this study was to apply a cognitive rehabilitation program, specialized in attention and working memory for patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, due to the fact that these processes are usually seriously compromised in this disease. This is a factual, hetero-observational, prospective, prospective research with experiment-type manipulated independent variable and using a pretest-posttest design of a single group. Neuropsychological tests were applied to measure the different types of attention (TMT, Stroop) and working memory (WAIS III and WMS III working memory scale subtests), in order to observe and compare the functioning of these processes before and after the application of the program, and thus determine if there are significant differences.

This book is inspired by the gloomy scenario in which the reality of men's health care in the context of Primary Health Care pervaded, ranging from the invisibility of men within these health services, through the macho ideology that surrounds the social context, to the neglect of men themselves in health care. With the implementation of the National Policy for Comprehensive Attention to Men's Health, hope for a change in this reality has risen, and thus the need to investigate the impact of this policy on the daily practice of health professionals and on meeting the health needs of the male population. To this end, there is nothing better than following the real-life experience of a user in search of his right and the fulfilment of his health needs.

It was taken into account that: The rulers under study had their own communicative styles. The rulers under study had to communicate in a permanent and transparent manner. In addition, all rulers must inform the people of everything that is of public interest. The rulers will be able to fulfill their promises depending on their feasibility. Governmental actions undoubtedly have an impact on citizens and finally, presidential messages do not always go hand in hand with the reality of a country.
