"Deportivas en Guantánamo", aims to highlight the most relevant results of sports in this locality, from facts that marked history for three centuries of sports practice, flashes and achievements that began to expand along a new path of glories and defeats, but with healthy satisfactions. A new life of organization and restructuring began in all aspects, for the Guantanameros, it was not difficult. Sports such as baseball, boxing, weightlifting, basketball, judo and others began a long life and a welcoming stay in a truly humble process. Outstanding athletes, coaches, organizers, sponsors, exhibitionists, had to adapt to a new model of participation, it was a new sports cultural revolution that was coming to stay.

The monograph is devoted to the problems of the influence of environmental factors on the health of the young generation living in the conditions of the Southern Aral Sea region. It presents the results of research to assess the negative consequences of insufficient motor activity of adolescent youth, which lead to increased morbidity, impaired growth and development, reduced adaptive capacity of the body. The book is addressed to scientists, teachers of higher educational institutions, teachers of physical education, doctoral and master's students engaged in research activities in the field of physical education and sports, undergraduate students, as well as for those who are interested in the problem of environmental protection and eco-physiological research in the region of the Southern Priaralie.

The research is based on a qualitative methodology, of an evaluative type, which consisted of the collection and analysis of programs provided by penitentiary and post-prison institutions for women in Ibero-America, with emphasis on Colombia. Inclusion criteria were used for this purpose, such as: that the programs should focus on the female population and that they should be offered in Ibero-America. It became evident that the programs found in Ibero-America represent a deficient treatment for women, that they mainly offer programs that reproduce gender stereotypes, that their particular population needs are unknown and that the creation of post-custodial programs is linked to the gaps in the penitentiary systems. Therefore, the following criteria were determined: take into account the Bangkok and Mandela rules; build socio-labor insertion programs that are not gender biased; include the psychosocial component in the post-custodial treatment; educate in moral and social values; and provide adequate follow-up for post-custodial women.

When we talk about study habits we refer to the strategies that the student has to acquire significant knowledge. The way to approach the subject on this occasion will be to identify the "study habits" of nursing students of the basic degrees and careers offered by the Centro Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. It is important to recognize that at least in Latin America, universities that offer professional training do not have learning units related to study methods or forms that can be useful to new students (most of them), and the problem becomes more acute when the contents are extensive and with very specialized terminology. In the present publication we realize how the different groups of students, one at the undergraduate level, manage habits that allow them to obtain a satisfactory passing grade, while most of the students at the graduate level find it difficult to pass learning units with very technical contents, for example: anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology, among others.

The strategic project model enables the educational institution to use its strengths to capitalize on external opportunities and reduce the impact of threats, which will allow it to achieve its institutional objectives for the benefit of the community it serves. The project planning process helps define values, roles, priorities and action plans and provides the structure by which organizational changes can be effectively implemented to meet academic challenges. It is necessary to think in a new paradigm that takes into account human, technological, cultural, economic, social and political changes worldwide, based on economics and knowledge. This new pattern has education and human resources as the central axis of competitiveness, organization and efficiency.

This paper aims to provide a conceptual overview of Sigmund Freud's and Jacques Lacan's theorizing on the question of the end of analysis. Starting from the Freudian impasses of the text Analysis Terminable and Interminable (1937), it can be seen that Lacan's work made notable theoretical and technical advances, formalizing a theory specific to the end of analysis in which the ethics of psychoanalysis sustains a logical outcome for the subject and the cause of his division. No longer able to turn back from the consequences of what they say and the resulting loss of their fundamental references in fantasy, the subject must sustain their desire without guarantees. If everything that is said starts from the structural impossibility of sexual intercourse, neurotic suffering can use the fact of structure to deal with anguish in another way. The subject's metamorphosis is therefore about knowing how to deal with the nature of the semblance and the irreducibility of his symptom in the silence of the letter that rubrics his jouissance.

This work, entitled "Because beauty has no standard: transsexuality and the feelings of people born in the 'wrong' gender", focuses on the study of transsexual rights, which are constantly violated and disrespected by people who behave according to the standards of conduct considered "normal" in a given social context. The aim is to analyze the role that human rights play in the immediate realization and integration of these subjects, who are vulgarized/vulnerabilized because they are different, in physical, psychological, legal and, above all, social terms. The aim is to build an efficient response to this gender problem faced daily by transsexuals "inserted" into a society marked by prejudice. It is understood that it is necessary to reflect on the real feelings of these people who were born with the wrong gender (is there really a right gender?) and who don't even have the right to choose a gender that best suits their real needs.

Intergovernmental joint commissions for cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and other countries are one of the most important instruments for the implementation of mutually beneficial projects of an economic nature aimed at intensifying and further expanding trade and economic interaction, more fully realizing the potential available in bilateral relations, which would make it possible to increase and diversify the mutual trade turnover of goods and services. These commissions are created for effective interaction between the business community and the state at the international level. The main goal of these commissions is to create favorable conditions for the development of foreign economic relations of Belarus, to assist businessmen and entrepreneurs in cooperation with foreign partners. At these meetings, the parties consider topical proposals and issues on improving foreign economic relations with partner countries and also find ways to resolve them. Cooperation with intergovernmental commissions gives an opportunity to position exporters in the foreign market as a reliable and attractive partner. How these structures operate in today's conditions is discussed in this paper.

Migrations energize societies, forcing them to mobilize, to take action, to face new problems and to find effective solutions to them. In a globalized world with increasingly blurred borders and a certain illusion of cooperation and unity, the sting and discomfort still generated by the transit of people seems strange. Countless questions are raised about the rights of refugees, the role of receiving nations and their obligations towards the migrant population. The questions are even greater now, especially when the population of a country in crisis such as Venezuela migrates to another country with some levels of economic, social and political imbalance such as Colombia.

"There is a large segment of the population that does not know how to discriminate between the concepts of sex and sexuality. Sex is a biological condition that is not exclusively human, an ancestral impulse, an unconscious intelligence that moves, whether we want it or not, our destiny as a species. Sexuality is the result of its expression and evolution in the human species. It is, let us say, the ever-increasing complexity of the sexual fact. Or, if you will, the psychologization, socialization, culturization, creativization, artistification and also the artificialization, politicization and jurisdictionalization of sex. Sexuality is the impregnation of sex in the human personality and in its daily life. It is sex made mind and heart. And therefore, the creation of increasingly complex ways of sensing, feeling, thinking and expressing sex. The evolution of sex in man, of his sexuality, is the story of its evolution from its expression as an instinctive and procreative tool to an almost infinite variety of sexual possibilities. Sex and sexuality have evolved along with human consciousness and are, like his psychology, a reflection of his state (...)".

Although today a less popular means of communication than it was a few decades ago, the illustrated postcard still circulates as a medium for visual messages. This has been the case, at least, in the field of advertising, where the postcard appears in various forms, from the more traditional to the electronic. It is precisely on the basis of this observation that we propose, in this work, a reflection on the use of this now century-old medium in the context of contemporary organizations, whose management and operation depends, increasingly and irreversibly, on Information and Communication Technologies. In other words, the aim is to detect in the technological simplicity of the postcard the potential to respond to the communication challenges that arise in a context of saturation and great semiotic competition. Without any intention of establishing the postcard as a premium medium compared to the technological sophistication of other formats, we intend to explore the integrated use of a medium which, due to its intrinsic historical and cultural meanings, generates empathy in the consumer, enabling effective contact with the message.

Reaffirming the relevance of new technologies in education may seem redundant, but it is necessary for the current context in which this book is set. In order to understand how Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are treated in studies that discuss the use of these resources in Brazilian education and to identify the potential mediating character of ICT in the teaching process, this book presents evidence found in scientific-technological production in the area mentioned. Specialist authors confirm the mediating potential of these technologies while reinforcing the need for pedagogical projects that are committed to their appropriate use. In addition, teachers who are committed to using these tools make a big difference to their students' learning.

However, the protection of intellectual property by copyright, the notion of the right to reproduce works protected by copyright and the unquestionable right to information are all at stake in times of democratisation of the use of digital information, the use of open electronic networks and multimedia applications, tools and products. The changes brought about by the new technologies for the production, processing, dissemination and exploitation of digital information have taken on a historic significance in terms of profound changes in conventional social and professional practices relating to the use of information. This is a change in the information economy, whose means of production are now in the hands of anyone with access to these new technologies.

Traditionally, criminal law is applied in times of peace. However, the upsurge in armed conflicts has given rise to a new body of criminal law which is concerned with situations of war. These are General Criminal Law, Special Criminal Law and Judicial Criminal Law of Armed Conflict.The first part, General Criminal Law of Armed Conflict, studies the basic rules and principles applicable to the drafting of criminal laws of armed conflict, the definition of offences under these laws, the criminal liability of alleged offenders and the penalties imposed on them.This work is innovative in that it provides the tools for understanding and explaining the implementation of formal and substantive criminal rules in times of armed conflict, which has not been the case in many previous works.Members of the armed forces, both state and non-state, legal practitioners and researchers in various fields, as well as those subject to the jurisdiction of the courts as a result of armed conflicts, are the real targets of this book.

For developing countries, exporting their cultural goods and services is an excellent way to generate employment and foreign exchange. Strengthening identity by enriching confrontation with other cultures, it is in the exchange and evidence of diversity that social innovation achieves its true meaning. These exchanges, both internally and with external stakeholders, increase plurality and have a measurable effect on cultural, environmental and social capital. In this transdisciplinarity of knowledge, projects are designed within a universe of meaning in which disciplines are fields in dialogue and inclusion of other actions with new purposes. Therefore, social innovation actions go beyond the monetization of social impact, in financial terms, since in some way it is expected that in the future it will be possible to transform the meaning. Although visions, perceptive conventionalisms and obsolete organizational schemes persist, innovative solutions to urgent global challenges also emerge.

Due to the lack of scales adapted to the northeastern region of Argentina, of psychological tests that evaluate attention, a cross-sectional and quantitative study with an exploratory-descriptive scope has been carried out in the capital city of the province of Chaco (Resistencia), to investigate the Attentional Profile in children, from primary schools with different characteristics (private/state-urban/peripheral), with the aim of identifying it through the evolutionary development of attention and establishing the regional scales of the D2, SDMT, Faces, Stroop, WISC IV Symbols and Digits and TMT Tracing Test attentional tests. The mean of the aforementioned tests was determined according to different variables: age, gender, school, school level. The local scales of the tests used were obtained. The relevance of using valid, reliable instruments adapted to the school population of the region is highlighted, in order to specify and enrich the psychodiagnosis in school orientation tasks and adequacy of psychoeducational intervention programs that contribute to increase the academic and social performance of the child.

With the aim of contributing to the study of urinary lithiasis in eastern Algeria, we investigated the importance of medicinal plants recognized as effective by the region's local population. To this end, we carried out a descriptive ethnobotanical survey in the urology departments of the five university hospitals in eastern Algeria. We identified 32 plants belonging to 19 botanical families, including Zilla spinosa (L.) Prantl, known as "Chebreg" or "Aftazen".

Naming the continent in honour of this swindler signals the victory of the bad guy.

In Colombia, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms have existed since the enactment of its Political Constitution in 1991, Article 116, paragraphs 3 and 4, where third parties are empowered to issue rulings both in equity and in rights to the extent that the rule makes it possible, however, when the power was embodied in the Constitution, There were no mechanisms for the solution of such conflicts and the State needed it with the specific purpose of decongesting the judicial offices and motivating people to solve conflicts peacefully, without a third party interceding forcing one or both of the parties to a decision of strict compliance.

Decision making, whether for an investor or at a business level, involves a series of repercussions that will directly affect the value of the company, since the main objective is to maximize said value. The correct application of finance is fundamental in any entity or enterprise, regardless of its size or the market in which it operates. It is for this reason that it is so important to have at least a basic knowledge of the areas that comprise the study of finance, since they are totally complementary to each other.

Reality shows have finally become part of Argentine television programming, and are now the subject of analysis of all television and radio programs and newspaper articles in the graphic press. Even when browsing in bookstores you can find in different publications opinions and analysis of other countries where they have already happened and are still in force.The debates revolve around the form of representation of that reality, the fiction present in the finished product and how much of a spectacle and game there is in them. The proposal of this communication is to find another look that makes possible a new denomination in accordance with the aesthetic proposal, and to observe how the television consuming society attends this type of audiovisual works. In order to do so, we will try to reflect some particularities, partial of course, as an approach to these reality shows, these "shows" of intimacy.

Biosafety standards are intended to reduce the risk of transmission of micro-organisms from recognised sources of infection in health services linked to accidents due to exposure to blood and body fluids. The basic principle of biosafety is: I do not infect myself and I do not infect others. It is therefore a doctrine of behaviour aimed at achieving attitudes and behaviours that reduce the health worker's risk of acquiring infections from the work environment.

This research exposes the misrepresentation of the concept of empowerment through violent discourses. There is a large number of gender studies that present an analysis of violence against women; however, very little research emphasises the active role of women in violence as perpetrators. We worked on a single case study with a qualitative approach, with a 27-year-old woman, economically independent and with a high hierarchical position in a well-known company in the city of Durango, Mexico, using a semi-structured interview technique. The results of the interviews exposed the false empowerment of the participant, as well as the sexist discourse towards men, which leads to the exercise of psychological violence, and the costs and requirements that a woman needs to ascend to a position of power; however, the unexpected result was the sorority that the participant manages in a specific sector of women.

Apprenticeship training and the integration of young people into the workforce are major issues in many countries, including Senegal. Indeed, success in these areas is essential to ensure the country's economic and social development, as well as to offer employment opportunities to the younger generation. Faced with this reality, Senegal is turning to a new direction in its apprenticeship training and youth integration policy, to better meet the needs of the ever-changing job market.In recent years, Senegal has become aware of the importance of rethinking its educational approaches to offer young people skills adapted to the demands of the professional world. Traditional models of formal education have shown their limits, often leaving young graduates facing high unemployment and a disconnect with the realities of the job market. A new direction is therefore needed to ensure a better match between young people's skills and employers' needs.

This research topic was born out of the gap that exists in the current literature. This research is interested in characterising the participation of the United Nations (UN) in the formation of the National Policy for Reincorporation, with the purpose of contributing from Political Science to the understanding and improvement of the tools used in the analysis of National Peace Policies, and in their formation process in Colombia, which have counted or have international actors.

The book responds to a social need aimed at solving the problems of teaching-learning of sports from that teaching in Colombia; since it is intended to achieve a process of continuous training of the Physical Education teacher aimed at didactic management in Basic Secondary Education. That is why the purpose of the research was to promote a continuous training strategy to achieve that the Physical Education teacher manages to didactically manage the sports class. Methods and techniques of scientific research were applied, which allowed the contribution of a model and a strategy of continuous training with the same purposes described; all of which was corroborated in the theoretical and empirical order by means of critical opinion workshops and the pre-experiment.

This text compiles research carried out by the compilers in which, in the first part, they investigate the relationship between music and language in preschool and early school level students.In the second part, the subject of the research presented has to do with the musical preferences of middle and high school students.This research has been carried out in the Mexican educational context.
