This research documents the situation that the inhabitants of the municipality of Tasco Boyacá have been facing, due to the violation and impact of the human right to water by the coal mining exploitation by the company Hunza Coal in the delimited area of the Pisba paramo, by the mining titles approved by CORPOBOYACÁ, guided by the alleged benefits of economic growth and appropriation of royalties, This is guided by the supposed benefits of economic growth and appropriation of royalties, which translate into national economic and social development, leaving aside the guarantee of rights and destroying water sources in the paramo zones, evidencing environmental impacts, leading to the process of social mobilization that the inhabitants of the area have been carrying out to defend their human right to water.

The Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R. CONGO) is a country of great importance when it comes to conserving the planet, and therefore combating climate change. As the second most forested country in the world, D.R. CONGO possesses great biodiversity and incredible natural wealth, including the equatorial forest which is essential for regulating the global climate.Unfortunately, these forests are threatened by deforestation caused by mining, shifting agriculture and urban expansion. However, the D.R. CONGO government is taking important steps to combat deforestation and help save the planet.

This research work responds to the need to recognise the impact that teachers' gender imaginaries have on early childhood children, from an intercultural perspective, in the school environment. For the development of the research, a hermeneutic approach is adopted, congruent with the qualitative methodology, which allows to go through the diverse transformations that have been configured from the subjectivities of each human being and that have been permeated by intercultural, social, political and educational contexts. In this way, results are obtained that make it possible to visualise the route that the research work has taken and that, according to the different collection techniques, a set of elements can be perceived, which show that not in all cases do teachers replicate and transmit these gender imaginaries to children, due to the fact that from the family, as the first socialising agent, ideologies and customs begin to be established that are reproduced in the daily life of the child, meeting with citizens and educational agents.

The nutritional disorders overweight and obesity have increased at present due to poor dietary habits of the world population, so the incidence of Obstructive Sleep Apnea is on the rise, and correlates with cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension, metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus and hyperglycemia and a difficult control of them.

Hemodialysis is the heart of nephrology, and perfect mastery of it is a must for every nephrologist. Being a fervent supporter of peritoneal dialysis has never prevented me from recognizing that hemodialysis remains a cornerstone of our beloved specialty.With this book, I wanted to pass on the basics of hemodialysis, far removed from the habits of our departments, so that our young colleagues could offer quality purification to hemodialysis patients. Dialysis is undoubtedly a particularly effective extracorporeal therapy that has enabled millions of people to survive chronic end-stage renal failure. It remains the most widely used technique worldwide.Nephrologists should evaluate the dose of hemodialysis they prescribe by measuring it periodically, in order to offer quality care to these vulnerable patients. I sincerely hope that I am making an effective contribution to improving the application of the new hemodialysis recommendations.

The principle of maximin (rational choice of a political system of lower costs versus higher benefits through a social contract) assumed that freedom and equality as principles of justice, at an institutional level, were criteria that guided citizens' decisions. The principles of equality were counterbalanced by the principles of differences. Such social, political and economic inequalities benefited the less advantaged. Consequently, equity (open opportunities in the pursuit of occupations) emerged.

The text introduces us to various intertwined themes; on the one hand, resorting to important theoretical approaches in social psychology and, on the other, to the analysis of the strong economic dependence of countries with emerging economies. Thus, the problems of the migration of Mexicans from the huasteca potosina, the social and environmental conditions that expel them from their communities of origin, the adaptive adjustments to the receiving culture on their journey to the United States, and the use of the economic resources generated are amalgamated to present a very valuable approach to the reality addressed.

Traditional agricultural activities have been developed without taking into account the conservation of the environment and biodiversity, therefore, it is necessary in rural agro-productive sectors to carry out an ecological territorial planning that benefits the community and the existing biodiversity in the sector, carrying out sustainable and environmentally friendly productive activities. The objective of this research was to identify the biodiversity associated with an agro-productive rural settlement, in order to make a proposal for ecological management.

The low level of competitiveness manifests itself as the inability of a firm to expand and meet market demand; the Ecuadorian hat industry shows the case in that despite having been maintained for more than a century, today it faces foreign rivals with diversified products that form local niches, displace the retail producer, and are built under unfavorable commercial relations for the artisan felt transformer who continues to use methods and tools typical of the colony. The production and commercial chain schemes of the felt hat and its main raw material highlight the organizational structure of the industrial producer, who focuses his efforts on the foreign market, in addition to the contradictory reality of the artisan who sells in the local market, and thus manage to exhibit the main limitations to access the international market due to the lack of technification in the transformation process of the raw material, which together with an intricate network of productive-family relationships on which they are based, prevent them from reaching adequate levels of competitiveness.

The Pemon Androergologist is defined as a learning mediator, who, with an ethnographic approach, must train entrepreneurs of the same ethnic group to obtain a greater economic benefit from the sale of handicrafts or services, through the enhancement of the activities carried out for the administration of their small-scale productive units. The training process was based on transdisciplinarity, under the premise that knowledge must be shared, deconstructed and reconstructed in order to generate specific competencies. The competencies generated as a result of this process were conceptualized and operationalized under the following denominations: technocommunicative and socio-affective.

Prior to 2014, Côte d'Ivoire did not have a national system for covering the entire Ivorian population against the risk of illness. With the introduction of Law N 2014- 131 of March 14, 2014 instituting Universal Health Coverage (CMU), the country aims to fill a gap in its social security system, in this case the population's lack of protection in the event of illness. This book underlines the country's ambitious goal of achieving universal health coverage, but highlights the complex challenges that need to be overcome to achieve it. These challenges encompass structural, organizational and financial aspects. By analyzing the implications of this law and examining the initiatives undertaken since its introduction, the book reveals a complete picture of the transition of the healthcare system in Côte d'Ivoire. It highlights the progress made to date and identifies persistent shortcomings, while offering a realistic vision of the prospects and adjustments needed to move towards universal health coverage.

Seven hundred and twenty-two personal ornaments, found in the fort of Saut and the Déboussadou cave (Châteauneuf les Martigues, Bouches du Rhône) and in three of the megalithic monuments (Bounias, Castellet and Source hypogeums) of Fontvieille, Bouche du Rhône, were studied in the present work. We count five categories of ornaments, pendants, beads, ring elements, buttons and plates. The formal analogies of these artifacts with several areas of Europe and in particular with the western Mediterranean area indicate the existence of contacts and exchanges. Traceological studies have shown traces of the last phases of processing and regulation of the surfaces of the piece and also various methods used to perforate the artifacts. The shape of the ornaments and in some cases the traces present, help to define a specific use.

In this methodological manual, in accordance with the requirements of the National Training Program and taking into account the expansion and deepening of the use of new pedagogical and information technologies, an attempt is made to show the methods of using new pedagogical technologies in teaching the discipline "Methods of Teaching Special Sciences". Along with this, the methodological manual covers the history of the development of the concept of pedagogical technologies and the place of modern pedagogical and information technologies in the teaching of special sciences, the organization and methods of lecture and seminar classes based on these methods.

The DRC, a great country in Central Africa, is celebrating its 63rd year of independence, but it's disappointing to see that it has regressed so much over the years, and is now lagging behind in certain areas essential to life. Those responsible for this regression are the Congolese themselves, whatever their qualities and titles, because of their lack of seriousness. So, to catch up, the Congolese people, and especially the young, need to realize that no one but themselves will have to take things in hand in a serious way to change things.

In order to win it is necessary for Venezuelans to constantly do an exercise; in what way have we and our institutions, historically and politically speaking, made use of the past, of memory and historical heritage as a source for the development of the nation and its regions? Some answers will be more reflection than government agenda. These texts, in a non-conformist manner, invite the reader to participate in a diachronic, critical and revisionist journey on the ideological conceptions of Western thought that since colonial times and its consequent modern stage continue to project a negative and poor vision of the historical past(s) of Venezuelans. Above the academic whim, it is on the conception of the past that the peoples conceive part of the existence of their ethos as a source of rootedness, permanence and traditional historical appreciation of their culture and all that it implies. The way in which the conception of the past is conceived as tradition and source of existence, the same way we will see their cultural forms of action.

Ludwig Wittgenstein's remarks on ethics constitute a fundamental part of his work, although by far the most enigmatic. From a labyrinth of propositions and arguments in the "Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus", Wittgenstein builds a wall where sentences about value, whether aesthetic or ethical, remain beyond ordinary language, impossible to verify. This point would seem conclusive. However, when we study Wittgenstein's life and examine the testimonies of his students and friends, we know that his considerations about language protected his mystical and religious concerns from dangerous rationalization. This paper seeks to show the affinities between the world of philosophy and the world of literature. It is, in short, to elaborate the argumentation of the "Tractatus" and to find the affinities with Wittgenstein's favorite literary and religious author, Leo Tolstoy.

CoViD-19 is a viral zoonosis caused by the coronavirus strain (SARS-CoV-2), with acute respiratory failure being its most severe manifestation. Our aim was to determine the influence of thrombocytopenia on the severity and outcome of patients with COVID-19 admitted to the intensive care unit. Thrombocytopenia was most prevalent in elderly patients [61 - 80 years], and occurred during the first week of hospitalization. Two risk factors associated with thrombocytopenia were identified: disseminated intravascular coagulation and associated superinfections. The mortality of CoViD-19 patients is five times higher in cases of thrombocytopenia. Thrombocytopenia is therefore a poor prognostic factor that can easily be used to identify patients at risk in CoViD-19.

Telework is the possibility offered by a company for its employees to work from another domicile and this concept was born in the United States in the 70's. The purpose of the study is to identify appropriate strategies for the development of the digital economy in Cameroon. The digital economy is the result of the integration of information and communication technologies into all areas of the economy. However, there are both advantages and disadvantages. The strategies envisaged can be grouped under four headings: widespread access to digital networks; development of the digital content offer; diversification of digital uses and services; and renewal of the governance and ecosystem of the digital economy. Cameroon stands to gain a great deal from this, with both social and economic benefits at stake.

Postpartum depression is a depressive mood disorder characterized by the lack of interest and rejection of mothers towards their children in the Puerperium Period until approximately one year after childbirth, affecting the health of the patient. It is a condition that occurs frequently in patients and is not properly treated. It is advisable to reinforce the affective bonds within the family nucleus that allows to diminish the impact of depression in patients after childbirth. It is important to remember that every person will have some problem. But it is even more important to know that for every problem our God has the remedy.

Essential oils (EOs) or volatile oils are made up of complex mixtures of aromatic, lipophilic, liquid and odourous volatile substances originating from the metabolism of plants, which vary between species. EOs are gaining market share and consumers due to their application as plant actives. Lavandula angustiofolia L. (lavender) has antibacterial activity. Microdilution tests were carried out to check inhibition against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The results were statistically evaluated by 4-parameter logistic regression. Lavender EO proved to be more effective against P. aeruginosa A creamy soap formulation was developed using lavender EO. EOs with antibacterial potential can replace or reduce the synthetic active ingredient triclosan. Test formulations with thickener, solubilising emulsifier and vegetable oil served as adjustments to the final formulation. Normal and accelerated stability tests show stable values and that lavender EO can potentiate antibacterial activity, but in vivo studies must be carried out to prove the formulation's effectiveness.

This research presents one of the most crucial problems caused by development policies and the poor implementation of water projects in African countries. It concerns the problem of access to drinking water, the sustainability of hydraulic infrastructures and the failure to take into account the social realities of beneficiaries in the implementation of projects in these countries, especially in rural areas, who are sometimes regarded as people lacking modern intelligence. So, we study the case of Côte d'Ivoire, more precisely the town of Bouaké, located in the center of the country. It is presented as the Baule terroir, which groups together several Baule from different cantons, including those of the Pharis canton, the subject of our study. The present study focuses on the socio-anthropology of the failure of village water committees in Bouaké. The aim of this study is to understand the factors behind the failure of village water committees in Bouaké. The international context has been setting the path for the adaptation of the domestic legislation of different countries with a view to guaranteeing the prevention, eradication and punishment of crimes committed in the context of gender violence. Its importance at the global level lies in the fact that the final -and fatal- outcome of the commission of this type of crime is the death of a woman by a man. Femicide -or feminicide- is the most extreme result of this manifestation, since it appears as the final epilogue of a violent situation, in which the victim, for not submitting to the designs of the man who seeks this result, finds death as a counterpart. For a homicide to be considered femicide, there must be an additional factor, which is the presence of one or more situations of gender violence against the female victim. This is the necessary characteristic for its classification. The statistics provide hard, certain and concrete data that indicate an increase in this crime.

As the Institut National de Préparation Professionnelle (INPP) focuses on quality training using the latest technology in machinery and equipment, we'd like to give you an update on the productivity of the boiler-making workshop at INPP Mbujimayi. It's worth noting that, since it was set up, this workshop has been equipped with a range of machines and equipment capable of carrying out various mechanical manufacturing operations, such as plastic forming, machining and welding.Our studies have added value by implementing an administrative and technical reorganization of this workshop, with the introduction of various monitoring and control sheets for execution, quality and even agents.Maximizing productivity time, a sound marketing policy and regular upgrading of staff will be optimal solutions to make this workshop a hub of the boilermaking industry in Mbujimayi.

To meditate deeply is to continually practice the vow of abstention from evil and union with good; it is a constant process because evil or mental illusion reproduces itself, simultaneously both internally and externally. Evil is the mental self subjected to the triple illusion of hatred, selfishness and falsehood, associated with the ego's insatiable desire for power, money and sex. When this desire is cut off, the ego dissolves and does not interfere with the nature of the soul, thus free from the false self. The inattention of the mental self is taken advantage of by the reproduction of evil to enter internally and force its permanence. If you meditate for light, you make a double effort, on the one hand you turn off all light in your inner room, on the other hand you call upon a stranger to give you a light which is not your own or to enter your personal room to turn on for you the very light which you have previously decided to turn off.

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) today and has the highest transmission rates. Infected people have an increased risk of developing certain types of lymphoma. The prognosis of these patients is mainly related to the lymphoma, the patient and the HIV infection. Treatment for HIV with antiretroviral therapy (ART) has led to an increase in the survival of these patients. Due to the good evolution of treatment in HIV-positive patients, it has been possible to treat lymphomas related to the disease using standard chemotherapy. However, in Brazil, the use of Rituximab is not yet permitted by the Unified Health System. This could end up affecting the quality and survival of these patients. The aim of the study was to characterize the population, their treatments and clinical responses to the treatment made available by the SUS.
