This book presents a methodological proposal based on the cooperative approach based on an investigation and analysis of the needs, deficiencies and preferences of the students in the teaching and learning process of Technical English. This methodological proposal will contribute to the dynamisation, qualification and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process of Technical English by introducing cooperative learning groups in which students work together to maximise their own learning and that of others by establishing a positive interdependence, i.e. a commitment to the success of others as well as their own. The methodology based on the cooperative approach will change the patterns of a traditional teaching methodology and counteract competitive and individualistic learning, as it proposes cooperation and teamwork as the basis of the English Language Teaching and Learning process. The reader will find in these pages the project profile, the frame of reference, the conceptual or theoretical framework and the elaboration of the proposal through the design of a global plan and a lesson plan of a thematic unit.

This book is the result of the practical analysis carried out during 2015 and 2016 for the preparation of a Master's thesis on Auditing at the University of Alcalá (UAH). By means of the Resolution of 15 October 2013 of the Spanish Accounting and Auditing Institute (ICAC), the new Technical Auditing Standards were published. Within the previous body of standards is ISA-ES 600 "Special Considerations - Audits of Group Financial Statements (Including the Work of Component Auditors)", which will be the focus of this paper. Some of the issues addressed in this study are: the case studies applicable in situations where there is a change of auditors; the steps to be followed when issuing opinions on consolidated financial statements and there are different auditors in the audited group; joint audit situations and responsibility in the audit report.

This work constitutes a fundamental contribution in the processes of care for children with cognitive disabilities in their early years, to the extent that it provides pedagogical guidelines that favor their development, learning and inclusion within their communities, recognizing childhood as a significant and basic stage for the life and development of human beings.Adequate care and education in the early years are determinant for their wellbeing and adequate growth; directing it to educators and support professionals linked to the educational service, who lead the work of students with cognitive disabilities, as well as to those who are motivated to initiate the experience, with the intention of providing pedagogical guidelines for the attention of these students in the country.

As a result of the concern about the perceptions that exist with respect to sex toys, a comparison is developed between the imaginaries of university students aged between 17-24 years and 40-47 years of age at the University of Costa Rica. The aim is to find out the different ways in which students conceptualise the use of these objects. The research presents different postulates that justify their use in terms of eroticism, pleasure, therapeutic use and, finally, purchasing power.

To conserve and preserve our biodiversity makes a lot of sense for all of us who in one way or another are concerned about cultivating in humans the love for nature. In Costa Rica and especially in our University Campus is well documented the high rate of species per square kilometer that provide natural beauty and landscape. The Liberia Campus is undoubtedly a natural paradise.

Diarrhoea is considered one of the leading causes of death worldwide, especially in the paediatric age group, as well as a public health problem, given the high number of cases each year and the costs of treatment. The increased costs are due to dehydration and malnutrition, which are the result of poor nutrition during acute diarrhoea, leading to superinfection and increased morbidity and mortality.

The sporting development of a country or state begins at an early age, through physical education programmes adapted to the ages and sexes of children and young people and to the motor needs and possibilities of each stage of development. The trajectory or intentions towards a sport of the great mass of children and young people with whom we work on a daily basis, has to face innumerable and controversial scientific-pedagogical and theoretical-methodological problems, especially in those sports of early initiation, in order to achieve a high level of sporting continuity without causing traumas or irreversible injuries in the children and young people practising the sport. It is clear that a child's inclination towards a specific sport depends on numerous situations such as sporting heritage, contact with the environment, tastes and preferences, among others. It is worth noting that at this age, sport is practised as another way for children to recreate and have fun. The objective of this work is framed in the search for an alternative for the classification of Futsal through recreational games, using free time correctly in children from 10 to 12 years of age in district 15 of zone 1.

This book is the result of an investigation into the journalistic treatment of the student movement, known as the University Reform of 1918, through the journalistic content available in La Gaceta Universitaria de Córdoba and the newspaper La Opinión de San Luis. This analysis was based on Violette Morin's journalistic treatment of information (TPI) and Klauss Krappendorf's units of analysis, as a methodological proposal. The time frame for this research was May, June and July 1918; considering this quarter as the relevant one to analyse due to the chronology of events that occurred after the student movement, journalistic material was collected, classified and interpreted from 22 editions of La Gaceta Universitaria and 72 issues of La Opinión de San Luís. From the aforementioned, 4389 units of information were detected between the two publications. The news and editorials were classified according to categories considered relevant for the journalistic treatment of the Student Movement.

According to the WHO, more than 37 million falls occur annually, mostly in people aged 60 years and older, of which 646,000 falls are fatal, making it the second leading cause of unintentional injuries worldwide. Of these, 646,000 falls are fatal, making it the second leading cause of death worldwide due to unintentional injuries.The risk of falls and functional capacity in the elderly is a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional research book. The study involved the participation of 156 older adults aged 60 years and over. Each elderly person was interviewed and observed, using the J.H. DOWNTON scale to assess the risk of falls and the BARTHEL index to assess functional capacity.

What we may know to be true is not really true. The Farseeing Society leads us to analyse the different processes of our life, under a condition that imposes itself without question. We will take a walk through the different phases of history, the evolution of man, his cultures, productive systems, daily activities, observing how he needs to be incorporated into a society in order to feel useful or safe from the predators of the human race. We will analyse the interaction of human beings in the different stages of their lives, childhood, adolescence and adulthood, we will observe the influence of culture, beliefs and religion, as stimuli to follow patterns or dogmas imposed as flocks, led by a shepherd. History will reflect an important factor, determining the beginning of a society that discovered the transcendental of the dominion of the masses, in the invasion of thoughts, creating the megalomaniacs of the past, present and future.

Research work carried out by means of direct surveys of patients hospitalised in the internal medicine area, analysing the various risk factors that could lead them to suffer from this pathology, in addition to the review of clinical histories. During the survey, we also interacted with the patients' relatives, who provided more data that were very useful, especially in elderly patients.

Transformation in the modern world of innovative solutions and structures of vertical and horizontal system integration of complex parts, supersystems and subsystems of the infrastructure of smart production, smart transport, smart workforce and smart home into a developed smart integrative combined system, the result of the complex implementation and comprehensive application of which should be universal innovative smart system components with elements of artificial intelligence and artificial neural networks.

Depression is a disease of great social repercussion due to its high prevalence, its treatment implies a considerable cost, it is one of the main suicide risks, becoming a relevant cause of mortality and has a great impact on people's productivity, being one of the disorders that generates the greatest disability, so that depressive disorders play an enormous economic role, not only in the health system but also in society.

Through this material we propose that the refrain (folk wisdom) works as an efficient and functional auxiliary in the analysis of resistances and defences, unconscious processes, which are observed in the analytical discourse of patients in treatment, in the difficult and complex clinical task of Psychoanalysis and individual and group psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This resource is studied from the perspective of different theoretical models of psychology, linguistics, folklore and the different psychoanalytic theories, integrating these perspectives and models through their clinical application, which we present through several vignettes. Corroborating their usefulness and efficiency.

Malnutrition in Ecuador, as in the Region of the Americas, continues to be a public health problem and is the most important nutritional deficiency in the child population of non-industrialised countries, being more frequent in early childhood, a period in which it contributes to a large extent to the high morbidity and mortality rates. According to statistics in Ecuador, the family economy has improved in recent years, even so, poverty data are alarming and malnutrition rates at the national level are high in rural and indigenous areas. In this research work the general objective is to determine the nutritional status and risk factors in children under 5 years of age treated at the José Garcés Rodríguez Hospital in Salinas Canton, Province of Santa Elena"; in the period from June 2015 to June 2016.

It seeks to answer the question of how to recover and rehabilitate the deteriorated urban environment of Ciudadela Sucre and how, despite being a relevant urbanisation in the municipality of Soacha, it is left aside with less relevance. It is a plan that acts as a whole from different urban, social and housing points of view. For this purpose, different tools will be used to obtain information, such as interviews and quantitative analyses, in order to identify the shortcomings and difficulties of the plan as it is influenced by a context of little development. In the end, the results obtained in relation to the different problems and deficiencies such as light infrastructure or environmental pollution will be represented by means of technical cartography, scale models and conceptual diagrams.

In Cuba, the antioxidant activity in monofloral honeys of Apis mellifera and Melipona beecheii species, respectively, has been investigated, obtaining satisfactory results. However, it is not known which of the two types of polyfloral honey is more beneficial in terms of its nutritional, antioxidant and antimicrobial power, which is very useful and important for its industrial processing and commercialization.

Langerhansian histiocytosis (LH) is a group of disorders characterized by tissue infiltration by Langerhans cells or dendritic cells originating from the reticuloendothelial system and organized in granulomas. The Langerhansian nature of the disease is confirmed by immunohistochemistry, with expression of CD1a or langerin/CD207, or by electron microscopy, with the presence of Birbeck granules [1,2].It is a rare disease that mainly affects children and young adults [1].It encompasses a range of entities with widely varying clinical presentation and prognosis, from a simple eosinophilic granuloma to a multivisceral form with organ dysfunction, and has led to a number of different names [1,3]: "Abt- Letterer-Siwe disease", the rapidly progressing acute form; "Hand-Schuller-Christian syndrome", the chronic form; "eosinophilic granuloma", the circumscribed form; and Hashimoto-Pritzker disease, a spontaneously regressing form [4].Although progress has been made in understanding the pathogenesis of the disease, its etiology remains unknown [3].

This book was written with the intention of showing how powerful strategies can influence the administrative and commercial management of a non-profit organization; thus understanding the importance of analyzing different administrative approaches, as well as using research from different authors to help identify present and past problems in order to efficiently coordinate the proposed changes until consistent positive results are achieved.

One of the tasks of all cultures in the world is the transmission from generation to generation of their knowledge, customs and values. The richness of Bolivia's cultural heritage, including its religious heritage, can be appreciated on a daily basis. From the Eastern region to the Altiplano, one can see the cultural legacy left by the religious orders that arrived in Bolivia since the time of the conquest, one of which was the Franciscan order. In order to carry out this research, a market research process was carried out, and the knowledge that this plan can provide to the rest of the world regarding the history of art, architecture and painting is invaluable, as the contribution that the Franciscan order has made to these fields since its work in our country could contribute a great deal to the history of humanity and promote the study of art in unknown places around the world that may have an artistic potential that has not yet been discovered.

Folklore and literature are closely related. They complement and enrich each other. Works written by poets or writers may eventually become folklore. Also, many writers and poets use motifs and plots from examples of folklore and write interesting works.In this book, the authors have analyzed these and other scholarly issues. This textbook can be used by doctoral students, master's students, and students working in the field of written literature and folklore.

Due to the rapid growth of the luxury goods market in the last decade, especially in the leather goods sector, the following is a project to manufacture and export exotic leather handbags from Colombia, with the highest quality standards and competitive prices in the sector. This project will be carried out through one of two proposed models: the first, through the outsourcing of the production process, in which the company will be in charge of quality control and the sales plan. The second, by means of the internal execution of the process, from the acquisition of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product to the logistics operator for shipment to the end customer. To determine the model to be implemented, project preparation and evaluation techniques and cash flow methodologies were applied.

Escritos viajeros is made up of different works exhibited in Argentina and other Latin American countries. They approach Feminism, Politics and the Body from a contemporary philosophical point of view, while linking them to the field of aesthetics and teacher training in the Arts. The origin of the University, in some cases, is traced only in the Western vision (Europe), ignoring and forgetting the Eastern vision (Asia) that commonly has a more advanced and structured development that has allowed an advance foreign to the Western world. It is important to dispel the idea that the university has its beginning in the Western world, taking as a referential model the Platonic Academy and/or the University of Bologna in Italy in the 11th century A.D. In fact, in China, India and in the Arab world, the university dates back to a period before the Platonic Academy. For this reason, a historical account will be given of the process that the different schools and universities went through with regard to the teaching of the humanities and other sciences.

In this book the reader will find a presentation of the poultry industry at its different levels, the different products that are marketed within it, as well as the organisations that exist at national and international level. Along with the analysis of specific bibliography regarding the internationalisation process with the aim of presenting the Argentinean province of Entre Ríos and the internationalisation process carried out by the company Tecnovo S.A. from Crespense.

This is an alternative in the rehabilitation of patients who have sequelae or disabilities as a consequence of having suffered a cerebrovascular episode, who often abandon rehabilitation treatment when they are discharged from hospital. Alternative solutions are presented that can be used in the patient's own home by means of the manufacture of rustic mechanical means with which the patient can be reincorporated into the activities of daily life, which can be carried out with independence and dexterity. This also improves the quality of life of these people, as well as improving their self-esteem, as on many occasions these patients are associated with some psychological disorder caused by the disability they suffer.

The present research is carried out in the EIDE Pedro Díaz Coello in the province of Holguín, in which a problem is faced related to the low results obtained by the school category fencing athletes in national events due to the incidence of physical performance in the bouts, as a result of the insufficient capacity of explosive strength to attack and retreat. This work presents the proposal of a set of exercises that allow the increase of the aforementioned capacity, which contributes to the improvement of competitive performance; checking the feasibility of the proposed exercises through the application of theoretical and empirical methods in order to validate the research. The research also aims to provide sports coaches in this discipline with a sample of how to make this work possible with the particularities of age in this fencing category.

For some years now, the world has been thinking a great deal about environmental issues, because the environment is constantly deteriorating. This deterioration continues to have a negative impact on mankind.Madagascar is a special island in that it is the world's third-largest and a country of mega-biodiversity. Yet the country is heavily affected by the degradation of its natural resources.Over the last two centuries, Madagascar has experienced three main regimes: feudal, colonial and republican. Since then, all the country's successive rulers have become aware of the need to preserve the environment, and have set about implementing policies to conserve these rich yet fragile ecosystems. This book summarizes years of research into the evolution of Madagascar's environmental policy.

Hip fractures are now considered the new orthopaedic epidemic, and according to the World Health Organisation their incidence in Latin America is becoming increasingly high. In addition, fractures of the proximal end of the femur have been shown to be one of the most common disabling injuries occurring in older adults, with surgical treatment being considered the only therapeutic possibility to ensure a return to pre-fracture function and the maintenance of a good quality of life.

The need for a tax reform of the Personal Income Tax in Mexico is inevitable, evidently the structure of the tax system in Mexico is complex and burdensome compared to other modern tax systems. In order to make the tax structure more equitable and proportional, and to improve the distribution of the tax burden, as well as to adapt the legal framework in tax matters in an efficient manner that serves as a lever for development, it is convenient to simplify the tax provisions by optimizing voluntary compliance with tax obligations. There are several ways to improve the Mexican tax system. This project focuses on the analysis of the principles of equity and proportionality in income tax, and its impact on the taxpaying capacity of salaried individuals.
