The present research was delivered as a final degree work to opt for the Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) of the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA) in Caracas Venezuela for the year 2019. This study considers the conceptual description of Financial Literacy, Financial Risk Tolerance and the methodologies to measure its impact. A survey of information was made in the populations of graduate students and graduates of the Master of Finance Administration of IESA to determine the variations and behavior in decision making considering the demographic variables of level of education, age and sex. It is observed that financial decision making is, intrinsically, situations that can have an impact on high or low financial risk results depending on the individual's level of preparation and would have, indirectly, repercussions on the financial state of a society. Financial Literacy is, increasingly, an element that occupies an important place in the educational agenda of a country to motivate the best performance of its inhabitants.

The aim of this work is to highlight the impact of anthropogenic activities on the environment, as well as the close relationship between the polluted environment and the contamination of aquifers and surface waters. Physico-chemical parameters and trace metals were measured in 19 water samples, including 14 groundwater samples and 5 surface water samples. The results of the chemical analyses were processed using hydrochemical and statistical methods (principal component analysis, PCA and hierarchical ascending classification, HAC and Piper diagram). A geographic information system (GIS) was set up to study the spatial variation of physico-chemical parameters and trace metals.

The Jorf Lasfar industrial zone in El Jadida is home to several industrial units that generate large volumes of by-products. These include the JLEC thermal power plant, which generates over 770,000 tonnes of solid residues per year, comprising two types of ash: hearth ash and fly ash. The latter is used in cement production, whereas fly ash remains in landfill and has never been reused. Our contribution in this study is to combine the use of natural porous materials (sand) with bottom ash with the aim of valorizing them and giving them a second life in the building materials sector. The aim of the present work is to gain a better understanding of the behavior of mortars based on bottom ash from coal combustion. This involves substituting part of a cement to form new mortars. The mortars produced will then be characterized by microstructural, physical and mechanical tests.

Its aim is to helpunderstand and provide the reader with the ingredients for an Ariadne's web of a dense reality in all its breadth, both in space and in time. While the data and figures are a constant reference point, its contribution could becometo decipher a social relationship undergoing rapid economic and cultural transformation. Its facets and ramifications form the fabric of a matrix of underdevelopment that is struggling to discover and adapt new mechanisms vital to Algerian society, where human enhancement is the nodal point.

Specifically, in the context of university life, it is necessary to explore the way in which students assign social representations with respect to gender-based violence, taking into account that, as future professionals when carrying out interventions, they should have knowledge about the changes and how the population assimilates and interprets them. For the first year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, it is necessary to focus, analyse and understand the gender perspective from the beginning of their university studies. In order to train professionals who make visible and denaturalise, from the different areas of work and intervene without reproducing stereotypes.

Genetics, the science of heredity and variation, is used to study the rural hen and highlight its characteristics by establishing the gene-performance relationship. Compared with hens from selected breeds, lines or strains, the rural hen, which is not selected using conventional and molecular scientific methods and is a natural incubator to ensure the longevity of its offspring, is far inferior in performance for production traits. Factor or formal genetics has enabled us to identify the effect of genes with a clearly visible importance on expressed traits. Methods for identifying genes with visible effects have been developed in this book. We have presented some of these genes of tropical importance and their benefits on poultry performance, both for meat production and for egg production (for breeding, consumption and sale). Certain variability in hens is often due to chromosomal changes occurring during cell division, especially meiosis, and is at the origin of the diversity often observed.

The civil service regime has always been governed by its own rules distinct from labour law. It has its own statute in which public tasks are assigned to civil servants and which they have a duty to perform, which differs from the contractual relationship that prevails in labour law. However, the civil service has become increasingly labourised over time. In many cases this labourisation has derived from legislative changes, in others it has been the result of events, which in labour matters have historically been natural channels for advances and demands. This essay will analyse the process of labourisation of the civil service in Venezuela, touching on aspects such as entry, stability and collective labour law in the civil service.

Predetermination" and "premeditation" are two different concepts in the field of criminology and criminal justice, although both are related to the planning and execution of crimes. Criminal predetermination" refers to the idea that certain individuals have a predisposition or increased risk of engaging in criminal activity due to genetic, biological, environmental and social factors. This perspective suggests that there are factors that influence the likelihood of someone becoming a criminal. However, criminal predetermination does not imply that a person is destined to commit a crime, but rather indicates an increased susceptibility to certain criminal behaviors. "Criminal premeditation" refers to the conscious, advance planning of a crime prior to its commission. It implies that the individual has thought about and organized his or her criminal actions in advance. Premeditation is an important factor in determining the seriousness of the crime and influences the legal categorization of the crime committed.

This book is part of an effort to promote new environmental education strategies. For decades, the idea has been gaining momentum that the only possible way to address environmental conflicts is through environmental education. One of the most pressing of these is undoubtedly related to the treatment of wastewater and its subsequent reuse. Numerous technologies are currently available to carry out such treatment; however, not all of them are sufficiently sustainable from an environmental point of view. This book, and more specifically this chapter, which provides a relatively extensive description of the main existing biological purification systems, as well as the microbial communities responsible for it, is the first step that any Environmental Education programme must take, and which, in short, must be none other than to try to make society aware of and understand this environmental problem. This is the only way to encourage the active participation of citizens in order to build a new model of sustainable society.

Textiles have always been one of the most important sectors of the Chinese economy, even before the opening up of the economy to the outside world in 1978. Until a few years ago, the Chinese central government even had a Ministry of Textile Industry. Traveling and entering our country, we can observe how Spanish businesses are giving way to Chinese ones, each time with better prices, quality and specialization. Efficiency, long-term orientation and patience are their distinguishing features. The objective will be to identify the keys and success factors that have led the Chinese textile trade to an outstanding position in terms of competitiveness and development, analyzing their sales and positioning strategies. The aim of this research is to study and analyze the evolution and development of the settlement of the Chinese textile business in the Community of Madrid (Spain).

Since the 1990s, the term "transnational organised crime" has come into use, representing organised groups that internationalise their criminal activities with repercussions in more than one jurisdiction in order to maintain the permanence of one or several criminal organisations. One factor in transnational crime is the globalisation of the world economy, a significant variable in the notion of transnational organised crime; globalisation or, as some economists call it, "international economic integration" was characterised by the free circulation of financial capital, the internationalisation of trade and means of production, the notorious exchange of information, transport, trade in services and the transfer of goods, the use of new technologies and, with this, the flow of people across borders to settle in countries with greater stability and economic opportunity. As a result, local criminal groups have formed criminal networks for the purposes of their criminal operations that destabilise the democratic structures of the state.

The aim of this book is to characterise the educational process of the dimension, education and development of motor skills in pre-school children. It constitutes a contribution to the theory that dynamises the logic of the study of the characteristics and historical background of this process, for which theoretical methods were used to achieve the proposed objective. It is designed to improve the educational work of teachers, students and families in their educational work with early childhood children.

This research seeks to uncover the extent to which the curriculum implemented in São Paulo's municipal schools has or has not guaranteed students' right to education based on the concept of school justice. The study is based on a historical review of the curriculum reforms in Brazil and, more specifically, in the municipality of São Paulo, aimed at the initial years of primary education, which led to the creation of the curriculum guidance document for the network.

This work shows the evolution of a line of thought that has had in technique an essential methodological thread to approach the reality of our time. It highlights the fact that every society has a way of using its territory and its time. The understanding of this used territory is related to the actions that define the precise functions of the objects that human beings have historically constructed and that are a constituent part of this territory. Geographical objects would not only have a technical content, but also a temporal one: each one would have its own times that take on meaning within the context of the present. The existence of geographical objects is associated with their location. This is what materialises the intentionality of the action or actions that define their function; they will always respond to the needs of the present. The territory used, by expressing the space of the past, conditions the space of the present and this, in turn, participates in the possibilities that will give existence to the space to come. Reflecting on the history of the present is therefore fundamental for Geography.

The results obtained from the research "Meaning of the exercise of female power in the workplace from the perspective of female bosses and subordinates" are presented, which involved understanding the perceptions and constructions that women make of female power and leadership in work contexts. This study was carried out using a qualitative methodology, which made it possible to investigate the meanings and positions constructed and manifested by women of female power and how this is realised in the exercise of leadership. This made it possible to make visible the ways in which women have configured the exercise of power from them and towards them. This implied passing through a complex web of perceptions that women themselves have of the condition of women in the workplace, in a context marked by the values of a patriarchal society. All of which allowed us to understand the meaning that the women interviewed have of female power and leadership, understanding the process of construction of the power relations that women establish in the different scenarios of social complexity.

Afropoderosas is the final result of the research carried out to obtain a degree as a communicator. It exposes the different experiences of injustice that the Afro community commonly faces and the processes of agency carried out by AMAFROCOL, the Association of Afro-Colombian Women located in Cali. The research relates the experiences from an ethnographic process and different interviews with members of the group, thus showing a close approximation of customs, stories and culture, where the main axis is the Afro hair.

Visceral Leishmaniasis (VL), according to the WHO, is the most severe form of the disease and is caused by a protozoan parasite of the genus Leishmania, transmitted by the bite of infected sandflies. The text deals with the molecular epidemiological study of visceral leishmaniasis (VL), explaining retrospectively the parasitic biocenosis of L. infantum in Falcon Venezuela, considering the historical evolutionary aspects of leishmaniasis in the Falconian region. It also evaluates the Falconian Semiarid as an endemic focus of Visceral Leishmaniasis of international interest, and identifies the environmental and socio-economic conditions of the region and their relationship with Leishmaniasis. At the same time, the characteristics of the Vector are determined and emphasis is placed on new concepts for the study of the reservoir. Next, the microscopic, serological and molecular methods for the detection of cases of VL are identified. Finally, the case is explained from a holistic viewpoint through molecular epidemiological studies of Visceral Leishmaniasis in the context of the Corian System.

The user experience in digital artefacts has been emphasised by professionals in the field and by companies as a factor that adds value to brands, especially in the context of e-commerce. Brands and their attributes, in turn, are determining factors from the outset of this experience. This study sought to verify how this relationship takes place from the point of view of 30 users by analysing the content of semi-structured interviews. The results suggest how some factors influence the user experience in e-commerce and how the relationship between brand and UX is a two-way street and comprehensive. Based on these results, suggestions are given for consideration in e-commerce experience design.

The purpose of this production was to analyse the organisational culture as an alternative to the SME in times of Venezuelan crisis, based on the interpretative paradigm, it was carried out with five (05) members who perform their functions at different levels of the Caribein, S.A. organisation, The emerging meanings respond to a set of elements that consider the values, ethics and morals held by the participants of the social system that makes up the organisation, taking into account the severe situation of political, social and economic crisis, the conditions that emotionally affect the members of the company, and the strategies for dealing with these problems. Organisational culture depends primarily on the values with which the organisation is governed, being influenced over time from worker to worker, which defines the identity of the company.

There is a disconnection between the transversal curriculum and the development of transversal axes in the Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Nutrition of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, each instrument allowed us to evaluate the impact generated in the Bachelor's Degree towards this institution of higher education, which allowed us to optimize such study. With this research, we are not expressing that the transversal curriculum and the transversal axes do not work, but that, in this institution of higher education, there is a lack of implementation of the strategies in time and form to demonstrate the usefulness of linking the curriculum from the vision of its execution with these axes. In other words, these results show a dissociation and deterioration of these important aspects for the development of competencies in this degree program.

The research topic "Perceptions of the importance of the concept of human dignity in law students" touches permanently on human relations and how these are perceived in the social, cultural, educational, political and legal spheres of the community. The current theoretical and practical importance of the concept of "human dignity" is undeniable, as it is an idea that has applications in various areas of human life. It is a notion that can be approached from a wide variety of educational disciplines (as is the case of the social and human sciences), and/or by those who advocate for the defence and promotion of human rights. In this paper we are interested in finding out what is the meaning and importance for students of a concept that runs through their entire personal and professional training, what is its normative relevance, its effectiveness in the legal system from their own experience and whether it is a necessary concept for the legal training given at university.

An approach to the requalification of the colonial urban and architectural heritage and the contemporary forms of occupation of the Historic Centre of the city of São Luís/MA, based on a historical analysis of the processes of: the formation of the city, the emptying and devaluation of the central core, as well as its inclusion on the public policy agenda, through listed buildings, the restoration of historic properties and various attempts to rescue the area. A theoretical and pragmatic study is presented on the implementation of programmes in the city of São Luís/MA that have been directed towards its historic centre. It emerges that, despite the initiatives adopted over the last few decades, the study area is still a devalued and stigmatised region, with many abandoned buildings in a poor state of repair. Within this analysis, guidelines are proposed for the requalification of the Historic Centre of São Luís/MA and the effective occupation of the site, through the insertion of a framework of contemporary needs integrated into the city.

The anchoring effect is a bias in people's decisions and responses, caused by the involuntary interaction between Thinking Systems 1 (Instinctive) and 2 (Rational) and activated by the way in which situations or questions are formulated by including information from irrelevant variables. This bias leads to inconsistencies in the predictions about individuals' decision making with respect to those expected by orthodox economic theory, where individualism and rationality predominate in the search for equilibria that maximise expected utility.

Education is an important factor in the economic, political and social development of countries, as it contributes to the increase in productivity of the hard work of educational work and therefore to macroeconomic growth, the values, knowledge and skills acquired in the basic stage form the individual for a future stage, creating a human being with ethics and principles to be able to relate to society. The lack of economic resources to invest in professional training is an important factor that should be discussed by the government in order to create strategies to improve this aspect, not only to commit to train professionals with a desirable profile, but also to offer them a wide range of job opportunities. The higher education model has shown itself to be innovative in the face of the technological demands of the new 21st century, and demands a productive education without crisis and that responds to the needs of the millennia, where science and technology are used. It derives from an article published with that has the potential to expand the same in the form of a book, which we took on the task of writing with the aim of providing guidance.

Human beings are exposed to learning that can affect them positively or negatively throughout their lives. In the case of aggressive behaviour, it is considered harmful to human integrity and to society in general, which is why early attention to this scourge is necessary in order to stop the damage caused by it in a timely manner. The school is the first educational centre where the individual is sheltered from childhood, becoming the main space for intervention to reduce the aggressive behaviours with which children arrive at these educational institutions.

To begin this reflection on the concept of friendship, I would like to point out the fundamental presupposition that motivates it: friendship is a concept that it is pertinent to think about again, since under the guidance of its meaning not only fundamental aspects of the human condition can be clarified, but also the obstacles that currently impede its realisation in the most successful way can be identified. The concept of friendship refers to fundamental ways of being of human existence, such as the inherent being with others, the need for recognition and accompaniment, the propensity to share life and the best things in life with others; but it also resonates with great human longings and ideals, such as the common good, or the good or successful life. Thus, reflection on the meaning of friendship allows us to understand that the fulfilment of life depends in a fundamental way on the relationship with others, a premise that the present era urges us to remember.

Neuromarketing as a strategy greatly influences the purchase decision process because thanks to the contribution of neuroscience, psychology and technology, we can know the stimuli and responses, emotions, motivations, through the study of consumer behaviour along with the study of neural systems that are immersed in mental processes, in order to achieve an approach to consumer behaviour. Neuromarketing must continue to position itself as a tool for market research, allowing it to become a participant in the purchasing decisions of consumers and thus facilitate their study in a different and controlled way. The product "Aguardiente Sello Blanco" must be offered to satisfy other needs of the clients, for that reason the neuromarketing has to go beyond and to know the consumer and its immediate needs must be known all the imaginary ones, to be able to offer a product and in addition to include a service that interests them and in turn to create an emotional bond of reciprocity.

Clinical aptitude is a quality that implies constant improvement to adapt to changing medical and patient situations in order to be able to favourably influence the patient's health condition. Therefore, it is important to address clinical competence in the educational process. In this book, the clinical practice on appendicitis, we can see the importance of decision-making in patient care, because this is where the medical art is expressed, and education is expected to contribute to improving health care and quality of life. It is clear that the family doctor or any medical specialist should be alerted to any abdominal pain that may be acute appendicitis, as well as make the diagnosis and act, this diagnostic capacity is based on the clinical aptitude of our health professionals.

This text consists of identifying literary elements with historical guidelines in eleven stories selected from three texts entitled Historia Secreta de Chile (Secret History of Chile) written by the Chilean Jorge Baradit. These narratives are framed in historical events that occurred in Chile between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries. Such stories, with historical glimpses, make up the analysis, the purpose of which is to elucidate the author's narrative style and identify elements typical of literature. Consequently, the study is preceded by a review of the cultural-literary framework in which literary and artistic terms such as postmodernism, contemporary literature and historical fiction are examined in depth, considering theorists from the 20th century onwards. In addition, an approach has been made to the artistic and literary movement known as Freak Power, to which the author Jorge Baradit belongs. Finally, four axes of analysis have been determined: discursive reconstruction between person-fact-character, symbolism of fire, dehumanisation of the self and recusation of the dictator. These themes are transversal in the stories chosen for this analysis.
